How This Restaurateur Took Over a Brooklyn Block | Eater NY
"Will return on May 6 for the first time since pre-COVID at Broadway and Chambers; the market accepts cash, credit cards, and SNAP/EBT benefits." - Emma Orlow
I love this market!! I especially enjoy Orchard stall. Great fruits and pies. Nice staff. Friendly.

This market is small but the produce and pies are always great. Sometimes they have flowers, too.

Yelp
City Hall Park Greenmarket is a memory for me now. I worked in the neighborhood when I worked for the city. On my lunch breaks I enjoyed sitting in the park and visiting the Greenmarket. I'm sorry I didn't take photos but take my word for it there's a great variety. Plus it's a great New Yorker lifestyle experience.
If you are in the neighborhood on a weekday I recommend you take in the whole neighborhood while munching on a fresh picked apple!! Don't forget to photograph the fountain!

Yelp
This is for the stands on Broadway on Tuesdays and Fridays in front of City Hall.
Can't wait for the summer fruit: crispy tart Ginger Gold apples and white peaches. The apple stand closest to Chambers Street accepts credit cards. The guys who work there always give good advice on which apples are best for apple pie. I like to bake my own pies since I have mastered the art of the crust: lots of cold butter and don't manipulate the dough too much. I learned this in my cooking classes at Sur La Table. What I bake is much fresher than any pie sold at the farmers market.
Also, the stand selling vegetables is good for zucchini in the summer.

Yelp
Greenmarket at City Hall is smaller than the one in Union Square, but both two produce sellers had a nice variety of fruits in season with a reasonable price. Also it's nice that it's not crazy crowded like the other bigger markets.

Yelp
Not terribly different from the other greenmarkets I've seen in Manhattan and Staten Island. Lots of apples, recipes for seasonal dishes, pies, and various vegetables. It's by the northern most subway entrance on Lafayette.
