City Lights Art Gallery

City Lights Art Gallery is a fantastic little gallery just off Water St. that features various art formats all by local artists at very reasonable prices. If you don’t like anything this time around come back in a couple months when most of the art changes out. Highly recommended.

City lights is an awesome little non profit art gallery down on Water Street in Henderson Nv for locals to promote and sell their art. It is definitely worth the visit.

What a great find! The diversity of pieces, the extremely friendly staff, and the uniqueness of the various art pieces was such a great surprise. I found this print and bought it as a present for my husband who is an art teacher. I purchased a few handmade cards, a purse, a bowl with cameos in resin, and I can't even remember what else. Don't pass this gem up as you walk down Water Street. Hopefully they still have the colorful wind catchers hanging up so you can find them like I did.

I love this place. The artists also volunteer as staff. If you are looking for a place to share like interests in the art community and meet a group of really nice people, these multi talented people will welcome and encourage you.

Nice gallery with unique pieces and fun artists. Worth a drive to downtown Henderson.

This volunteer gallery has a great variety of artworks from local artists for sale. The gallery also offers art classes and has annual events. See City Lights when you visit the Water Street District!

City Lights was fantastic. Staff was very welcoming and engaging but not to the point of being intrusive or disruptive of your viewing experience. We went to see our son's work on display, and the staff was very complimentary, welcoming, and open to conversation on various pieces and media. This place is such a hidden gem and a non-profit! Can't wait for our next opportunity to visit!

A nice little art gallery off of Army St., off of Water Street in Henderson! This is an artist's co op! The art changes quarterly. Lots of beautiful art inside in a wide variety of media. Watercolors, acrylics, drawings, photography, jewelry, & sculptures! They offer classes there too! After your visit make sure to walk to the corner where you will find The Purple Penguin! This place has snow cones in about 50 flavors and a few sugar free too!

I really enjoyed visiting this place! I had been looking for an art gallery to visit that wasn't across town or on the strip for a college assignment, and I stumbled across this one in some listings. I thought I'd check it out, and I have to admit, it surpassed my expectations. Though small, it had a quaint and cozy feel to it. The gallery showcases various artists (I'm assuming most are local). The employees there were friendly and helpful. If you're strolling around Water St., I recommend stopping by just to see what they've got going on.

A real gem in downtown Henderson. Lots of variety of art: oil, watercolors, photography, mixed-media and so forth. They also have art classes. Very nice friendly people. There is something here for everyone! The art is changed out frequently so there is always something new! And best of all, it's free to have a look around!

This is an artists' co-op with a great variety of regional art. Classes are also available for all ages. My visit was particularly interesting as they were having a juried show with top artists from throughout the Las Vegas valley who were competing for prize money. Their work was also for sale.

I am a part time resident of Henderson and recently learned about the City Lights Art Gallery. Immediately after browsing in the gallery, I wanted to share with everyone how special this place is. There are so many talent artists and affordable art pieces for purchase. I can't wait to bring my family and friends that stay with me when visiting Las Vegas. I have my eye on a unique piece that I am going back for. Also thinking this might be a good place to browse for birthday and holiday gifts. So excited to find this unique gallery with a small town feel in the glamorous city of Las Vegas!

This little gallery is Downtown Henderson's best kept secret. They have great fine art on display for viewing and for buying. And it's all the work of local artists from Henderson, Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Classes in drawing and painting are going on every day. They even have Paint Parties on Saturday evenings. Art lovers should not miss out on what this place has to offer!
