Portland Record Bar Replicant Will Open in Montavilla | Eater Portland
"I know City Noise Records began as a punk-focused record store when Gianpiero Milani opened it in November 2021, and the move to a larger space on Northeast Glisan near 70th is meant to make it more of a hangout and grow the community around the store. The new City Noise will occupy the brighter, red-and-blue, punk-vibed side of the two-room location, be larger than the current Broadway shop, and include listening stations so people can drink and listen while they browse; Milani and his partner Lydia Crumbley conceived the paired bar-and-store setup to give record nerds a place to connect, and they hope to open both spaces in May at 7033 NE Glisan Street." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
Good selection of records, great visual space, and very friendly staff. It's attached inside to the cafe which I also highly recommend. Lovely space.

Great shop. Friendly staff with a great atmosphere. Always ready to order records they may not stock and a pretty nice selection of 45s. Loved it.

I found an album on their online store I couldn’t find anywhere else. When it arrived, there was an issue with it from the manufacturer, out of their control. They immediately made it right with no fuss at all. Great customer service.

What a cool record store of punk/metal. As an out of tower, this was a great portland find. I got 2 rock books that will be great gifts.

Old school punk record store. Tasteful DIY clothing. Selection appears to be hand picked. Has a variety of D Beats records. Great selection of Spanish hardcore, too. The store is neat, organized, and very clean. Cool accessories.

Unfriendly staff, but a good selection of vinyl records including punk, metal and others. Clothing selection is almost entirely band t-shirts and is less than stellar. Overall a decent store, just not great.
