A riverfront market running May through August, verified by the City of Wetumpka’s 2025 calendar. After a downtown refresh, it’s a friendly place for produce, baked goods, crafts, and community music.

Several great vendors here!! Best beef and pork to be had, drinks and snacks too!

We are on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina and decided to make an overnight stop in Wetumpka. The first place we went was the Farmer's Market to have a picnic lunch. The setting is beautiful and I appreciated the clean restrooms. There is also a walking/fitness trail that leads through the woods and apparently is a good place to spot birds. The only real negative thing I can say about the place is that the wood on the picnic benches is warping. But that is a minor inconvenience and an easy fix. We enjoyed our lunch beside the Coosa River and it was the perfect start to our day of exploring the charming town of Wetumpka.

Really enjoyed. I used to go to the ones in Chattanooga all the time. I really wished there were more food vendors as I used to love to get breakfast and walk around to all the vendors. The vendors they had were great with lots of variety. Mom even got some Cajun peanuts. Can't recommend the parking as I parked on the grass lot and and some dummy in a Prius parked right in the middle of the entrance and blocked me in.

Enjoyed the market. Wish it had more vegetables vendors and better parking. Found sources for local honey and peppers.

Farmers market was not open. We enjoyed sitting under the open structure looking at the river while relaxing. Bathrooms on grounds. A fitness/walking trail head out from the north side.

Here at the Memorial Park getting ready for the Mardi Gras Parade! Great times!

This was a beautiful little park and it is especially nice during farmers market, however, the reason for the low rating is safety. There is nothing stopping a small child or even a middle school child from slipping and falling down the embankment into the river. I find this very unsafe and something that the city should look into.

Great spot for kids to play, family to stroll, and take in a picnic lunch at the gazebo

Yelp
Stopped in here with family to check this place out and buy a few things. It's a little small from what I'm used to for a Farmers Market but it was also a weekday so it's possible that all of the vendors weren't there. It's outside and some vendors are under cover and others had their own pop up tents. I picked up a nice red onion, a basket of beautiful, seedless blackberries, and a bottle of BBQ sauce. Overall, it was nice with a variety of vendors who were all quite friendly.
