City Park Ice Rink & Boating

Really cool ice park. Very big and nice for scathing. Anyway I don’t recommend going in the peek hours, there were soooo many people in the changing room it is frustrating. Otherwise it is very cool. We went Friday afternoon in December. We bought tickets online and didn’t wait at all to enter. The queue for buying in place was quite big.

We had to wait a bit before getting on the ice, which was completely understandable given how popular the place is. The ice rink itself is amazing — very big, spacious, and well maintained. There’s plenty of room to skate comfortably without feeling crowded. We also appreciated that there are areas where you can sit and rest, as well as places to eat or grab a drink. It’s also good to know that the last entry is at 20:00, as the ticket register closes then. As a bonus, there’s a whole amusement park and a marketplace right next to the rink, which makes the entire area lively and perfect for spending several hours. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting.

On a hot summer day, City Park Boating was just what we needed! Hopping on a paddle boat that fits four was pure chill—fun for both kids and grown-ups. Cruising around, catching the breeze, and people-watching made it even better. It’s a super relaxing and low-key way to enjoy Budapest vibes.

What an experience!! One of the biggest ice rink I have seen in Europe. And that with a backdrop of a castle and ferris wheel. Just beautiful.

My first time iceskating and it was a lot of fun :) The staff were lovely and very helpful. You have to make a cash deposit for skate hire(no card accepted) but they allowed us to leave our ID with them instead of a cash deposit. The atmosphere was great with music and everyone having fun

So much fun. Was a great way to spend a little while after a busy day of sightseeing. Highly recommend booking tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in line.

Absolutely amazing! The place, atmosphere, all was fun. I wish I knew the DJ that was playing on 13th December 2025 as the music was so cool as well.

As a family, we had a blast. It was the best ice skating experience for us, and I guess for others too. Everything was well-organized; although the arena was packed, everything went smoothly—from entering the site and renting skates to getting onto the ice
