"City Seafood is a seafood spot on the west coast of Florida. You might be thinking, “Hey, we have seafood in Miami.” And you’re right. But it’s one of those old school seafood spots made almost entirely out of wood, the kind of place where you might actually see an alligator while eating an alligator. We don’t have a ton of those restaurants in Miami anymore. City Seafood also has a very impressive amount of delicious things that swim: conch fritters, alligator bites, shrimp, frog legs, oysters, and more. Plus, to get to this place, you have to drive by the Skunk Ape Headquarters, which is one of the best pit stops in South Florida. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

"This shabby-chic, waterfront seafood joint is one part restaurant and one part seafood market, leaving no guessing game as to where the food on your plate is coming from (or how fresh it is). In a way, it’s about as far from Miami’s flashy food scene as you can get, even if it’s only an hour or so away. But with its dockside dining room, picnic table seating, and meals served up on plastic trays and in baskets, it’s a delightfully rustic throwback to Magic City’s early swampland days." - Jennifer M. Flew into Everglades city on a Sunday, and the airport was closed. The lovely ladies at city seafood came and picked us up! Good was great and the view was even better! I hear October-may is the best time- stone crab season. Will def be back.

This establishment is a staple of the area, and a no-frills come eat all the great seafood you want at decent prices. The views definitely elevate the experience, which is rustic at best. I make it a point to always come here whenever I’m in Everglades City, specifically to eat STONE CRABS. This place is charming and old Florida and I pray that it never loses that.

Wonderful location, great food, nice folks. If you’re in this area, make it a point to stop by. You’ll get a mighty fine meal (try the gator bites, the chicken fingers, the shrimp and fish sandwiches), right on the water. Good prices as well.

Everything looked so good and fresh! Great lunch spot. Very casual! I loved sitting by the water watching the view and the pelicans. I had the shrimp basket. The shrimp is lightly fried it is some of the best fried shrimp I have ever had!

A must visit restaurant in the everglades. Don't expect fancy. This is old fashioned Florida as it was before the developers ruined it. Grab some fresh crab claws and a beer and have a seat on the dock. Now you can relax and forget about the overcrowding in Naples.

Hidden gem spot- a little out of the beaten path but if you are going to the Everglades stop here. Very fresh and very delicious. Beautiful location right on the water and numerous seafood options. Enjoyed conch, fried calamari, fries, Oo boy, hater and fish. Pretty decent portions and quick service. Recommend - very fresh

Love coming here for stone crab. The staff are friendly and explain options well. The tables for outdoor seating overlook the water which makes for great wildlife watching while having a meal.
