Chef Jason keeps his amazing innovation and renewals especially for the brunch items. There is only one item to improve which is the steak. Needs to be more tender. Once this is resolved this rating will become 10 stars.

I came to City Social for dinner and it was pretty good. I had the scollops for starter and the lamb chop for main. Both were pretty good but the Apple pie desert was incredible. There were however a few areas to improve. The wines were not kept at the right temperature so the white and red wines were too warm. The green salad was nothing more than lettuce and lemon, which is fine but it was described more elaborately than it was, and for the type of restaurant it is, you would expect something more creative.

Had dinner at the restaurant. I had booked a table, but they still made us wait 15 minutes. When they finally took us to our table, there were three empty ones available. It felt like they made us wait on purpose at the bar so we would spend more money. The music at the bar was so loud we could barely talk. The food was good, but nothing memorable. The wine wasn’t great, I’d recommend offering more French wines at lower prices than what’s currently on the list. Other than that, the table service was very good.

Elegant Ambiance with Great Food The overall experience was lovely. We started with the Hokkaido scallop (though a bit small for the price) and the beef tartare, followed by the Wagyu steak as the main course (all well-prepared and steak a bit salty) loved the little game for ice cream dessert. The ambiance is elegant and refined, and the view from the outdoor terrace on the 43rd floor of Grosvenor House is stunning. A great spot for a special evening out.

I was really impressed with our first visit to City Social! The views were stunning, and the meal presentations were top-notch. The quality of the food and drinks was exceptional, and the atmosphere in both the cocktail lounge and restaurant was just right. What truly made our anniversary celebration special was the fantastic team of staff we encountered. From the warm welcome at the door to our attentive bar waiter Pierre and Bahad (sorry if I spelled that wrong), along with the Maître d', they all made our evening feel memorable. Every staff member was polite and friendly, which really made a difference. One last note: we appreciated that there wasn't a loud DJ blaring music, allowing us to enjoy our conversation. We prefer to talk and laugh over dinner rather than shout!

This has quickly become my new favorite restaurant! It’s absolutely perfect for dinner dates, offering a cozy and intimate ambiance that makes every visit feel special. The food is outstanding, both in taste and presentation. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, making the dining experience as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, clearly prepared with great attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening out or just a place to enjoy a fantastic meal, this restaurant hits all the right notes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—it’s a place I’ll definitely return to again and again

Incredible views over the Dubai Harbour. Small but well-prepared snack menu - there is a larger menu available for the full restaurant side - and an extensive drinks menu, and very friendly and attentive service. Great place to enjoy a drink with friends in a memorable setting.
