I recently visited City St George's and was really impressed. Several university buildings are connected here so there is plenty of study space, huddle rooms and areas for group study. Classrooms and lecture theatres vary in size and type. The canteen and the cafe are nice as well with reasonable prices. Location is also suberb with the university being in the central area of the city and few tube stations nearby. Definitely recommend to visit!

I had a very pleasant experience at City University of London; the campus was relatively scenic as far as London universities go and the staff are mostly helpful. The exterior architecture is great, having a stark contrast between the relics of older architecture nearby the new and modern feats of construction; I strongly believe that there is metaphorical value in this: City is a university that strives to change for the better but also holds its long-held values till this day. The students are generally welcoming and are respectful of the local surroundings of the university. I would highly recommend this university to other London university students!

City, University of London formerly the Northampton Institute and sometimes referred to as Saint George’s is located at Northampton Square and offers a unique blend of restored Victorian architecture and bold 1960s Brutalist design. Easily accessible via Angel or Farringdon stations, the campus includes landmarks like the historic College Building (1896) and striking concrete structures like the Tait and Centenary Buildings. Historians note the campus reflects post-war architectural ambition, contrasting red-brick tradition with raw modernism. Visitors can enjoy the greenery of Northampton Square, explore architectural features, and experience a dynamic part of London’s academic and historical landscape.

I have studied civil engineering at city, I must say this is one of the worst experiences of my life. In fact if i could go back in time i would never choose city ever again, i would rather not go to university at all in fact. It starts with rude staff that don't want to provide any kind of help, to rules which they follow blindly no matter the circumstance or situation, to professors and doctors who don't care at all about students and their academic excellence. Grading is always incorrect, plus they refuse to fix it once you point it out. Some professors and doctors mix emotions with work which i find very unprofessional and should never happen, you should always grade a paper in an unbiased perspective no matter whether you like or dislike the student. They don't care about you or any circumstances that come up and don't want to provide any help at all. Absolutely ridiculous ! I definitely don't recommend going through this path, find something else if you're reading this and was thinking about city or know anyone who plans on going to city !

A multi sited university campus based in the city area of London. Attended for an open day. The multiple sites revolve around a central green area and have interlinked walkways between each site. A semi modern site with a 5 level library but clean and presentable inside. Has approx 3 tube stations near by but approx 10min walk to each. Nice place

I'd say one of the best Universities in London. A world class in the heart of London. It's big. They have all the necessities. And many more around the campus. As a Londoner I'm proud that we have a university such as City University of London.

I had a pretty poor experience with my module: some awful lecturers, unclear and vague requirements for assignments, and overall very unprofessional. Did not feel like a postgraduate level of education. It gets an extra star because it's close to some nice pubs.

Excellent staff and modern facilities. Course (MA GPE) structure is well planned with up-to-date content.
