Where do I begin?
Not a vinofile so I cannot comment
My wife did not complain about her cocktails so I'm hopeful they were good.
First thing, the floor plan layout on the sight you have to buy your tickets from is a total fabrication. Just picture one long table. Your are back to back with every table.
Example; I decided to buy a front table for a premium price for my wife and I, on the website plenty of room and tables spaced out nicely (I will include a photo below) in actuality, one long table or tables back to back. No room at all! The person to my right going backwards away from the stage was pinching my rear constantly. Though not about the money for me I'd purchase the farthest stage right or left seats next go definitely as there was plenty of room in the less expensive seats. I specifically wanted space and to be close to the stage, not stacked side to side like a communal table. My right side was the stage side and I was in the second table from the center stage. Very fishy set up and false advertising for sure. The table next to me on either side was was butted up with No Space. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8...
I am not sure how many table there were but like I said one long table at the end of the day. So 4th table were cheaper seats and the illusion of some exclusivity or room was a total fallacy.
So let me say this, the space is beautiful and I would go back but knowing what I know now is priceless.
Second; the doors opened late so 1pm turns into 1:15 and for a 2pm show is not really optimal considering we wanted to eat as well and not have food in front of us or eat during the show. Some people did eat and that of course is their own choice.
Third; the food was HORRIBLE, we had another couple at the table as 4 to a table was known previously. They were lovely and we heard them choose the Mushroom and goat cheese risotto balls. I bet these were from Walmart. I kid you not they broke apart into pieces and were overcooked and cold. No sign of mushroom or goat cheese, mostly risotto. Like a cheaply made white rice ball. Omg I had one half and left them be. The other couple said I would never get them again but I just was disappointed. I did have some high expectations about the food but after reading the reviews I should have know better. Looking at this place you would think wow, this place is really nice but the reality was much different. Ok so my main was the special French toast Monte Cristo sandwich with house made fries. The sandwich was limp and the bread was described as local challah bread, No way! Wonder bread not the thick sliced or anything resembling challah bread and the fries were cold, not lukewarm but cold. Our table mates said the same and we were all very disappointed. My wife order shrimp tacos which had a nice description but only had green cabbage shredded dry and the soft tacos were so limp she could not pick them up. She ate the shrimp and a half out of each one with her fork?
HORRIBLE FOOD! Do not eat here. Again a beautiful venue with inedible food.
Forth; the mains came and the appetizers were never bussed away. No room and the girl is handing them to me and I just say " you cannot serve the mains without bussing the table, there is simply no room"
At this point I'm totally peeved and obnoxious, and my wife was not happy with me. But we are paying good $$ for substandard food and service. So you would have be peeved too. Our table mates were just as pleased but not as vocal as I.
So I leave to go to the restroom and when I return my wife tells me that she made our feelings known and the app and one main had been removed from the bill and that she paid the bill as well. She is a real desert girl but she was looking into the future with our recent experience. Good show beautiful wife!!
Who knows how that would be like.
I gave two stars because I did like the space.
I will add more as I think of it.
