City Winery Hudson Valley

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than City Winery Hudson Valley! We chose the intimate package for our wedding and got married on 10.12.2024. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the place where we wanted to celebrate our special day. The breathtaking views and stunning industrial architecture provided the ideal backdrop for our ceremony and reception, creating a magical atmosphere that our guests are still raving about! I have to be honest (because I would want to read an honest review also), it did not start off with the best communication from the original person in charge of my wedding at the venue. I’m not sure if she didn’t know what she was doing or just didn’t care. Thankfully it was transferred into someone else’s care. Once Colleen and Kim took over the communication and planning, the staff at City Winery Hudson Valley were nothing short of exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the final send-off. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail from these two women and their team made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. We truly felt like royalty on our special day! The reception space was elegantly decorated, with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. Our guests loved the unique layout and how everything felt both intimate and grand at the same time. Moreover, the catering provided by City Winery Hudson Valley was phenomenal! Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the delicious food and impeccable service. The menu options were diverse and customizable, allowing us to create a dining experience that perfectly reflected our tastes. Finally, the location itself is a hidden gem. The picturesque surroundings allowed for stunning photo opportunities, and we were able to capture memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re searching for a wedding venue that combines beauty, elegance, and unparalleled service, look no further than City Winery Hudson Valley. I was here during an event and enjoyed my time here. Place exudes character and history. Beautifully rustic. Cocktails A++. Food was average. Parking lot needs repair (tripped in a pothole and twisted my ankle here- wearing flats and fell upon entering the establishment not leaving)

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. 3 courses for $45. Portions were pretty small, felt like a “mini” size of normal dishes so there isn’t too much value here but it was nice to be able to get three courses and not feel full. Spoon served with the desserts was not proportionate and a bit hard to eat lol. We are wine club members and come every month and the food is usually very on point and delicious. This main dish I chose for restaurant week wasn’t up to their normal standard and meat was overcooked but out of the 25+ times I’ve been here one bad dish isn’t too bad. Presentation has always been beautiful. Would love to see more consistency in the servers as every time we come we get a slightly different experience (not knowing what comes with our wine club membership, having to ask to fix the bill etc) but overall it’s one of our favorite places to come every month.

The grounds (and all the amenities) makes the City Winery of the Hudson Valley a must place to visit. Come with your friends there is plenty of space. You can also have a good meal in their restaurant. A happy place.

City Winery is just perfect for weddings!! The space is absolutely gorgeous with a rich history, and there are so many places for gorgeous photo opps. The staff is so helpful and kind, management is very organized, and the food and wine are divine. We are always SO THRILLED to bring our giant game rentals to this venue, and can't recommend it highly enough!

Our pizza wasn’t anything crazy but it looked great. The crust was solid but the middle of the slice didn’t hold up. The sauce was a bit bland.

This is a great place for trying a variety of wines. However, there's not much of a winery to explore. We had to wait over two hours even though we had a reservation for ten people. The tasting experience itself was excellent, but the food was just okay. The prices were reasonable. Make sure to double-check your reservation before you go.

This was a fantastic experience for me...the rich history of the building and the tasteful renovation elements created great conversation. Food was great...chef was excellent. Lots of wine to choose from. Hosts and wait staff very cultured and professional. I was so pleased i booked reservation for 3 this coming weekend. They also have live music...tickets online. This is a precious hidden jewel to be discovered...its located off 17K in Montgomery, NY.
