Citymaxx Food Stores

My favorite kind of store is anything that brings the Eastern countries to the US-especially Armenian products. I love their variety and their prices are very reasonable for imported products. Friendly team and one gentleman in produce was super helpful to me in sharing what they can and can not supply their stores with. We also love, love, love Alex's bologna brand and so I am extremely happy to shop somewhere they have such a huge variety of my favorite brands. Overall, very happy and satisfied.

Store was great, came on the grand opening. They had BBQ outside, free samples. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Well stocked, employees asked if we needed help with anything. Product selection was second to none. Great experience!! Just for future note, cause it's not listed here yet, they do take out of state food stamps (Washington).

This appears to be a Russian Grocery store. They have so much to offer. I truly enjoyed the hot piroshki. They have an alternative to fast food options in the deli. We will be returning soon! The bathroom is clean.

Citymaxx is kind of a mini vacation - it's like being in a European suburb - much bigger than a store you'd find in a city, and shelves full of exotic (to those of us who don't necessarily read the languages on the packaging) goodness. On my first visit, I came away with a very nice Belgian beer, a jar of pickles from Poland, and a loaf of lovely rye bread from the folks at Eurobake. This will make an excellent destination for adding interesting things to my pantry on a regular basis.

Nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon, yet fully stocked and staffed with friendly employees. The emphasis here seems to be on Russian and German foods, with some Polish and Ukrainian cuisine as well. A lot of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere in the States, including Sarajevsko beer at a surprisingly reasonable price ($1.99 per approximately 12 oz. bottle). Lots of fresh baked goods and meat in the deli cases, and interesting frozen seafood. In fact, nearly every aisle had something I hadn't heard of before and wanted to try! Some items, especially spices, are far less expensive than at standard local groceries. Definitely worth a stop, to shop or just explore!

I love this place! I always get the 1 entree 2 sides meal with chicken chimiruli and mashed potatoes. The second side varies. Today, I got the cheesy cauliflower which is good. But, the best is their Mac n cheese. It’s the best I’ve ever had. Better than Montage. Right up there with the now closed Blueplate. It’s pure and simple. I try the different kids of pop too. So far, my favorite is a cream flavored Georgian lemonade. Their pastries are good too. I would buy a lot more there except my husband always makes me go straight to checkout after I get my food, otherwise I wander off and collect things to try/buy. Hopefully I win one of their giveaway contests (hint hint).

Hidden gem in SE Portland! An international foodies delight, come expecting to take your time wondering through isles of gourmet foods and unique offerings. Fantastic Christmas chocolate sets.

Great store. Went there with five of my kids and on the way out were offered ice cream for all kids and shopping bag filled with chocolate candies and tea box. Great selection of products. Definitely will recommend to friends and family
