During covid I have been seeing as much of Miami as possible but staying safe at the same time. This was deemed safe enough for me as I was outside and came to look at the Christmas decorations and peruse all the restaurants and check them out, and save and flag in my mind for later dining once I have the vaccine.
Well in short the Xmas decorations did not disappoint - so pretty, so much effort, and so very cheerful and pretty in these sad times. Check out my photos to see.
Cityplace is trying to do it it all - offering great living, Restaurants, bowling, cinema bistro, cafes, icecream parlours, shops, nail salons, a fitness place and even a comedy club / nightclub to boot. Need you ever to leave??!! (i guess that is the idea!)
Doral has always been to me a blah aka non descript location (this was when I first moved here and lived here in a temporary house paid for by my firm after relocating from Munich, Germany, 9 years ago) a residential place with not much character or reason to go. BUT things are warming up and times are a changing. These NEW places are now not so new and are trying to keep up with the Miami expectations and standards - like this destination for example - come for a look and check out what it has to offer.
Here are a list of the restaurants I noticed there - Tap 42, Copper Blues, Brimstone, Burgerfi, Coopers Hawk (a winery / restaurant - where you can sample wines) , jual Valdez cafe, Kuba Cabana (see my other review - they have a car bar!!!) Martini bar, Nove Centro, Sloanes (icecream, see my other review) and the Cheese course.
Also being an artist myself - there is a lot of cool art here - check out my photos - on the second floor of the mall, they have art on the walls. Also there is a really cool walk way, aka corridor on the ground floor (near to Sloanes) leading to the parking garage, where you are in a cocoon of art, see my pics and video! I LOVED THAT! and a great spot for the ever fancy, ever note worthy, ever relevant Instagram stories/ pics/ life.
