Situated near the city’s main library and government buildings, Civic Center Park is featured in the Santa Clara Weekly and city blogs for its beautiful landscaping and cultural significance. Statues and memorials commemorate local history, while the open lawn and flower gardens provide a peaceful spot for reading, picnicking, or attending city events. The park’s role as a civic gathering place underscores its importance to Santa Clara’s collective memory and ongoing story.

This park is a beautiful place especially today with the sun shining; a nice cool breeze flowing through and the scenery is just gorgeous. There are benches so that you can sit down and look at the water spirited up from the pond. It is such a serene place you will never want to leave. And it is very clean.

Beautiful ginkgo trees that turn yellow at the beginning of December! Photo from earlier today. Would recommend visiting when in season 🥰

I love this park. The Lady, the fountains, the roses, the trees. It's just a nice, peaceful place to go and relax.

Very peaceful here. I love the geese, I hate that there poop is everywhere. It's so peaceful because all the buildings are empty. I assume they'll empty The Fountains again because of the drought. That's what they did last time. The geese will all leave. That always makes me kind of sad. It is what it is. Nice place to walk your dog.

Always take strolls here with my dog. It's very nice to look at with a lot of history around and plaques to read. Paths are pretty well maintained, I only wish the water in the fountains was better kept since it can get pretty gross. Other than that, I do like this park very much.

Nice park, clean, lots of shade from trees, many benches in good condition. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the homeless guys on the premises made us nervous. We enjoyed watching a large flock of ravens and the lovely fountains, while there.

Yelp
Nice park right off El Camino Real in Santa Clara!! The huge St. Claire statue is what stands out here, along with the fountain, which wasn't working when I was here. The park isn't that big, and city hall is also right next door. I was here on a hot day, so most people here were enjoying the shaded tree area. Plenty of benches here to kick back and enjoy the fountain and the statue, which I think most people come here for.

Yelp
I have driven by this park many times and always admired the big monument of StClaire. I finally made a stop here today and can see how this would be a beautiful urban park with the monument and the pool around it. They have turned off the water rightfully so because of the water shortage. Unfortunately without the water, it just looks incomplete and a little sad.

Yelp
Back when I was still in a relationship with my ex-gf this was a park that I always go to because she is a Santa Clara native. After eating at the Taco Bell nearby this would be the park I would go to. It's also the park where I wait for my last ex to meet me or on some occasions get off the bus and join me to chill out here. She rarely rides the bus because she has a nice car. Other times I come here just for the fun of it. Of course this was before the pandemic and 2019 before she dumped me. I really like this park a lot. Even when the fountain is not active, this place is very serene. It's real quiet and somewhat far away from all the cars and buses that make noise in the area. It's a bit of a far drive from my flat but real worth it. I sometimes come here when my extended family is busy clamoring in my flat. Yes it happened once thankfully but either way love the peace and quiet. On some days you can see all sorts of ducks in the fountain. They seemed to be happy like me. Note: In the City Hall area there's a small snack bar with sodas and foods in case you get hungry.

Yelp
Cute little park in Santa Clara. In my search of St. Claire statue is how I arrived here. It is a pity that there is no water due to the droughts and that takes out some of the beauty of the place. I liked the monument to the saint that gives name to this town and was surprised to see it was shipped from Italy int he '60s and the sculptor was a woman (yay, they exist!). There were some people enjoying the shadow offered by those robust trees and there are several tables as well. It is a very relaxing place to go and read a book.

Yelp
This is our park! I wouldn't say it's our favorite; however it's within walking distance, simple, and provides an opportunity for us to relax or meditate. I like parks, and I think they're great addition to the neighborhood in so many ways. This park is one the best places for me to unwind after a long day at work, or just simply get some fresh air and spend time with loved ones. Civic Center Park is relatively small, and it has the basics of an ideal park like trees, walkways, grass, and benches. This park has some extra features too, like fountains and a statue of Santa Clara, the patron saint. I like that I reside in this city with the statue representing the name of the city. Few things that I observed at this park: the grass is super green, thus, you can tell it's pretty well-maintained. I think all parks need eyes on it to be safe and clean. I like that the benches are located under a big tree where I can get some shade especially on a sunny, hot day. Bear in mind this park is not a big one, so it doesn't have a playground, bathroom, or any place for sports. Even so, it's a wonderful and peaceful place for me to just pick a spot under a tree and start reading since summer is just around the corner. Have you picked out a good book yet? I know I have! :D I thank the neighborhood staff for keeping this park clean and a safe environment for everybody, and for the animals too. I see pigeons, squirrels, and ducks here. The ducks, of course, are pretty much regulars because they enjoy swimming in the fountain pools. Altogether, everyone should visit their local park. It's free admission, no need to pay. It's good for you, your kids, and your pets, too! Everybody benefits from it!

Yelp
i'm actually quite surprised that this lovely park has yet to be added to yelp, so i decided to put it on here for folks to peruse and review. while this park isn't very large, it certainly is very pretty to look at. there is a large fountain at the front of the park, with a statue of saint clare, the namesake for the city of santa clara - very cool piece of history! there is a smaller fountain toward the back of this park, and many benches surrounding the perimeter of the park. there is no playground or fitness facility here, but it is a lovely place to sit and gaze into the fountain. the traffic here isn't too bad so it doesn't get too noisy.

Yelp
this is a cute little park in the middle of not-so-cute santa clara. i'm sure there are lovely parts of santa clara, i just haven't found many yet. the park has a couple of fountains. well, i love water, so yeah... it works for me. there's an abundance of fast food nearby (seriously... healthy options in the area? please? we could use a few), so it's nice to be able to stop somewhere pretty to eat lunch. good spot to even just get away from work for a bit and enjoy a little tranquility. ahhhhh...
