This place is wonderful blessing and run by some of the most kind, down to Earth, caring, and thoughtful folks you will more than likely ever meet at a business like this. When you consider who comes there on the days they are open, you might think that it is nasty, crime filled and unbearable, however that's not at all the case. The whole property is well taken care of with a little garden, no trash all over the ground, well built, and many different facilities. They offer a shower, laundry service, free clothing/shoes, and most importantly, free food. Although my dad and I only visit once or twice a month as we try to do all we can without help, this place is much appreciated when it's the end of the month and we are starving. Additionally, there is always pet food, and you can use their address to receive mail and packages. Overall, this place is a blessing and they ask for nothing in return. To whoever donates here, thank you, please never stop because all that you donate truly does help us who are going through a hard time in life and your help makes it so much easier. Mine and my dad's appreciation cannot be put into the proper words. To those who work there, I can tell they are there to help others and they enjoy their job (I pray so) as the kindness they give to others, new, seasoned, young, or old, is immense. Thank you!

I brought a few people here and the place itself isn't to bad but I've noticed that the man named Mike who works here is VERY rude to a lot of the people who come. Always has an attitude, talks down to people and just acts like their an inconvenience to his time. Other then him, this place and the rest of the staff here are usually very helpful but it would definitely be a much more pleasant experience for people if they didn't have to deal with someone being very disrespectful and rude everytime they came for a little help.

Very friendly, they have a lot of resources there including medical and dental vehicles go there, there are shower days and the clothing closet, they have a needle exchange program through Multnomah county health where you can drop off used syringes pick up condoms, CPR kits, wound care, fentanyl test strips, they have sharp containers, norcan nasal and injection doses. For the ppl in your life that do fetty or blues. You can pick up new clean syringes as well. It's better to be safer. They also do drug testing like for if you want to know what's in the stuff. That's on Thursdays. They do food boxes, you can get your mail delivered there. They have fresh lunches daily. And those are just a few things that are so great about them the staff there are very friendly and caring. You can get bus passes ect.

I just have to give a shout out to Michael the manager that does the food pantry there 2 days a week he is a very special kind of person I had an incident there my very first time there I didn't know how things work some women explained it to me I had an emergency I needed to leave and I came back another person made it a very rude to me a racial comment that I thought was unneeded I was very upset and I said I didn't need food that bad to be treated that way the whole staff and some of the women outside stopped me and said yes you do we all deserve food you need it that's why you're here I was very upset and I wanted to just to leave Michael said no you know what you come here you know what you come here let's help you they let me go and get what I needed and told me that everyone is welcome and he hopes I come back because he felt so bad and that person should have never talked to me that way he said the person wanted to apologize but like I said I was upset I was dealing with a lot that dayI want Michael to know that I have not come back because I've been having some family problems and I haven't been able to make it back not because of that day because I would but right now I just have things going on I don't want him to think that that had changed my mind and those are the reasons why I have not come back yes it was very upsetting being talked to like that but like what I'm learning is I cannot wait people that are mean beat me or make me feel less of a person and I will tell you Michael made me feel like I was the most important person in the world that day he stopped everything and made sure that I was taken care of him and the other stuff inside can you tell me it didn't matter who I was or what we all deserve respect and that's what he has there at the property and if people cannot respect that then they cannot come either he could not stop apologizing and telling me how sorry he was but like I told him it was not his fault he was not doing it can I can't explain to me I have never been here before these people come twice a week all the time so I just wanted to let you all know how wonderful he isand I just wanted him to know that I have not forgotten what he did for me and I want to thank him so much and hopefully as soon as things calm down and I'm able to come out in public again I will come and say hello and let him know that he made my day that day by showing me that I did matter and that nobody should talk to anybody that way so thank you so much

While I have utilized community services like this in the past, they've really gone downhill. I'm hoping with the new construction going on behind the main building services will improve. But for now there are better places in the community to get food and clothing assistance.

Great place with a decent food bank. Run by good kind people. Most of the other people in need who go there are decent folk. Dont show up late and expect to good the best choices. Have yet to get clothing here yet even tho I'm in dire need but heard it's not bad. The meals they make are pretty good.I volunteered for a few days and the dude that cooks is pretty good.
