15 Florida Places to Be Nurtured By Nature

"On the coast of Naples, Florida, where a forest of mangroves meets the Gulf of Mexico, there’s a beautiful hidden beach called Clam Pass, named for the shallow pass where a stream that zig-zags through the trees empties out into the ocean.  Visitors can find this little-known gem at the end of a winding boardwalk that passes over the delicate submerged roots. Some stretches of the walkway are shaded by a canopied tunnel of black, white, and red mangrove trees. At the end of the boardwalk, the natural tunnel opens up to reveal a picturesque beach with turquoise waters and white sand. To the left is a bungalow with a snack bar and beach gear to rent. On the right, visitors can see Clam Pass, a shallow estuary where salt water from the Gulf mixes with fresh water from the marshes. Clam Pass is unique as most estuaries are deep with strong currents that can pull swimmers out to sea. However, this pass is so shallow that it acts as a natural lazy river. Swimmers can relax and float with the gentle current. Visitors can also wade through the pass to access the miles of secluded shoreline to the north.  Mangroves are protected by federal and state law because they prevent erosion due to their ability to flourish in salt water. Their spiraling roots also serve as a home to various fish and crustaceans, creating a unique landscape filled with butterflies and native birds like eagles, osprey, hawks, and seabirds." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Google
Absolutely beautiful park and beach. $10 to park for the day, also allowing you access to other beaches that day as well. Clean, well-kept beach with concession stand, shower areas for getting sand off your feet before returning to your cars. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are not a guest, bring your own towels. Chairs and cabanas are available to rent for the day. Just chairs are $20 a person. We arrived at 9am and walked the boardwalk, but had multiple trolleys pass us, used the trolleys at the end of the day. We will definitely be back due to the ease and cleanliness.

Jennah Morin

Google
Beautiful clean beach. Parking all day is just $8. Showers, bathrooms nice snack & bar. Would have given 5 stars but there was a long walk to the beach. We had a wagon so we couldn't take the 6 person golf cart. Also located right next to a resort.

Chris Breit

Google
The park and beach are absolutely beautiful. Was a nice day there.i recommend everyone to check it out.

Marina E

Google
Parking is $8 for the whole day but you still have to walk 15 minutes to get to the beach. Thankfully the day we came there were shuttle drivers. You can pay for beach parking via cash or credit card.

Jodie Combs

Google
One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to!!

nuke2102 nuke

Google
Long and beautiful beach clean, with white sand and riches of shells. An electric shuttle transports people from the parking (8$ per day) to the beach.

Hajni T. Cheek

Google
You can always find parking, but in high season (Dec-Mar) and on weekends it is better to come early in the morning or after 3 pm.

Google
Wonderful beach, but get there early for parking. Great shell combing!!

Yelp
Discovered this nice sweet beach in Naples. Kinda secluded and plenty of parking for $10 all day. Peaceful and enjoyable 3/4 mile boardwalk from the parking lot to the beach. Should you not wish to enjoy a nature walk, plenty of shuttle golf carts you can take for free that's runs routinely back and forth. Nice water and northern part of the beach has an inlet with shallow waters. Silky soft fine sand and nice clear waters. There's a restaurant and bar if you're hungry and nice deck to enjoy an amazing sunset. They also offer complimentary life jackets for kids as needed which is a nice touch
google avatar

Betsy K.

Yelp
You can either take a shuttle or a walk down the beautiful boardwalk through the mango trees to the gorgeous beach! At the end of the boardwalk is a bar and a restroom, which makes it very convenient. You can rent a cabana there if you choose. Beautiful beach, gorgeous ocean! Perfect place to spend the day

Yelp
Very nice wide beach with fine white sand. Not crowded at all. To get to the beach from the parking area you have to walk on a boardwalk going through dense mangroves or to take a free tram. The walk is about 10-12 min. There is a restaurant and some beach bed and umbrella rentals on the beach, both very expensive. You can walk in this beach for miles, it's very scenic. It's also famous for its seashells, though we didn't find any interesting ones.
google avatar

Yelp
Clam pass was disappointing! Things I enjoyed...Entrance was nice and I enjoyed the golf cart ride back!!! We walked the ramp in hopes of seeing anything in the pretty overgrowth natural environment BUT we didn't even see 1 bird, bug or ANYTHING...it was crazy weird to not see a single creature insect or animal on this long walk! We kept walking even as the golf carts sped by asking us if we needed a ride in hope that we'd reach a beautiful end BUT at the end is a HOT, DIRTY beach with a dirty, garbage thrown outdoor snack fast food type stand! We did not stay...we hopped on the next golf cart n headed out! Caution to parents: golf carts are fast so I recommend sitting in the seat with children and not letting kids right in back! They might actually fall off of back! Beach area had a bad energy, bad smell & just bad when compared to beautiful Marco Beach & Naples Beach!

Yelp
We made the trip out to this Park as we had heard great things on TikTok and saw it was being shown as having "crystal clear" waters. We came in August and the water wasn't as blue and clear as I thought it would be, but still very lovely. It is about 3/4 of a mile walk on a boardwalk to this remote beach. They have bathrooms and a cute little restaurant down by the beach where you walk up and order. They also have golf carts that haul people down to the beach for free from the resort nearby the parking lot (they do work for tips). It's $10 to park all day in the lot. I would imagine it fills up fast but we did come during a slower season after school had started in the area and we had 0 issues finding a spot. I can't say it was worth the almost 1 mile walk back to the car in the rain but it seemed like a hidden gem and in clearer water days, it would be a private oasis.
google avatar

Lori C.

Yelp
I recommend taking the walk to the beach. So lovely! The preservation area at the beach is also really cool to see.
google avatar

Jared C.

Yelp
Fantastic beach, rides to the beach. (Be sure to tip the drivers as they are awesome!) restaurant on the beach and plenty of beach to choose from!
google avatar

Denise C.

Yelp
I walked the board walk today. It was nice considering the chilly morning we were having. A lot of the vegetation died during hurricane Ian, but it's been 6 months and there was a lot of green. Towards the end of the board walk by the beach there is newly added boardwalk going down towards the sand. They have a trolly here in case you don't want to walk. You can tell in some parts the boardwalk was entirely under water from the hurricane.
google avatar

Andy Z.

Yelp
Great trail to the beach that you can walk or take an oversized golf cart. Beautiful sand and there's a more private area off to the right. Best part is that there's a restaurant at this beach serving some decent food.
google avatar

Janine C.

Yelp
Great opportunity to see wildlife and get your steps in. Bring a hat, sunscreen and bug spray.
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
This is a little park, but more like a private beach. It has a bridge that connects from the mainland or park to the beach. You can take a trolly or you can walk it. The walk is pleasant. There are many trees so is shady. The park has plenty of parking. You have to pay a one time fee. I think it was $10 to get to the park. You can stay here all day. The park closed at sunset. The fee includes the trolly. FYI bring tip money for the trolly attendant. There is a restaurant and bathrooms at this beach. They also have a bar that serves alcohol here. It is a nice clean beach. You can rent umbrellas for under $20 and cabanas. I don't know the price for the cabana. The attendants are really nice too. I had such a relaxing good experience here. I can not complain.
google avatar

Kate B.

Yelp
We drove out to the park to walk and get one fresh air and ended up coming back the next day to use the beach. The boardwalk out to the beach is mostly shaded and has a couple places to sit and a few information plaques about the flora & fauna. If you have beach gear and don't want to do the 3/4 walk to the sand, there's a few shuttles running to take you out. It was great having the bar & restaurant access on the beach as well as the option to rent loungers and towels. The bathrooms were also a nice addition. The beach was clean and easy to access. The nature trail from the beach back to the restaurant was really great too.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice beach, not crowded when we went on a Thursday morning. They have a restaurant that you can grab a bite to eat at and drink. Bought dippin dots for the kids, $9/piece. It was more than our white claws! Overal nice beach, water was a bit cooler than key west.

Maureen F.

Yelp
Always enjoy this beach. Plus there's the option to buy food and drink which is awesome.
google avatar

Mahi B.

Yelp
5 stars of course!! Beautiful place to hang out and swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Parking available for $10 or so. Then ride a trolley through a beautiful green path to the beach. Very clean white sands beach. Family friendly and shallow area available for kids. Beach chairs and umbrella available for rent, and a nice restaurant on the beach too! I don't believe I saw a lifeguard though, so wanted to mention that. Overall, would love to go back again anytime.

Dennis J.

Yelp
it begins with a well organized tram ride to the beach drop off. very clean beach. We went during the week so we can't speak to the crowds. $10 for all day parking is more than reasonable. We went 3 times in the week we were in Naples. By far the best beach in Naples.
google avatar

Ron W.

Yelp
What a beautiful ride on a long cat walk to a cute restaurant and beautiful beach, can't wait to go again
google avatar

Sierra T.

Yelp
The beach is not as nice as Vanderbilt (lots of rocks on the beach, ouch!). If you're not staying at the resort they won't put you on the front row of beach chairs. We rented 2 chairs and an umbrella. The golf cart people are nice so be sure to tip them for transporting you to and from the beach. The frozen drinks are awful they use the smallest amount of the cheapest liquor (wicked dolphin) and it tastes so bad but out of the two frozen beverages the strawberry daiquiri is better than the pina colada. They actually make a good hamburger here. The bathrooms are very gross but single use, the water didn't work in the women's.
google avatar

Yelp
Super, super beach. Snow White sand, clean bathrooms, restaurant/bar and a shuttle that takes you from parking lot to the beach (note the shuttle runs from 10-8). We got there at 8 am when they opened (175 parking spots; $8 all day). The "walk" through the mangroves is .60 of a mile and includes a wooden boardwalk with stops a long the other to learn about bugs, butterflies and animals that are found around Clam Pass. When we arrived at the restaurant that backs up to the beach, we found clean restrooms, showers and water fountains (even one to fill a bottle) as well as umbrella, chair and cabana rental. Chairs rent for $30 a piece all day, umbrellas for $15 and cabanas with a full mattress for $189. The place started filling up around 1030-11 and was pretty crowded when we left at 1:30. There are no jet ski rentals but you can get a paddle board or canoe. Shuttle ride back to the parking lot took 3 minutes.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
Nice sugar white sand beach with a short boardwalk stroll from the parking lot to the shoreline. The parking fee is $10 for the day, and there are small trams that continuously run from the lot to the beach. Once you arrive at the beach, you'll pass through a restaurant, and find an umbrella and chair rental stand as you exit to the beach. I'd suggest you bring your own, because the prices looked pretty steep. The water was calm and warm, but not the aqua blue Caribbean beaches to which I'm accustomed. The sand was sugary fine and white, and well raked and maintained. I found lots of fun seashells and was amazed by the number of cordoned off turtle nests. If you choose to visit the restaurant, they have a nice little spot with outdoor lawn games for the kids and a water bottle refill station. We didn't try the food, but it did smell amazing.
google avatar

Claudia M.

Yelp
This is my favorite beach in Naples. I absolutely love the nature trail walk that leads up to the beach. There is a tram that can take you to the beach if you can't walk but I love the walk. The beach is well kept and everyone is pleasant. Don't forget your sunscreen. We had so much sunscreen on and still got super burned.
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
My favorite sunset spot Just wish the free trams would have their own lane, gets dangerously annoying as you try to enjoy the boardwalk but have to dodge the trams Caution: don't wear slip ones thongs in morning or after rain, very slippery walkway which is made from recycled plastic Better off barefooted Plenty of parking but you need to pay $8 or have a beach sticker You can No longer rent kayaks here. Just small boogie boards for kids If you re lucky you can catch some bird conservation volunteers at the end of the pass protecting and educating ppl on the birds abs not to bother them If you stop and read, lots of informational posts along the walk. Not much beach by the cafe and restrooms but plenty long for walks or runs Cute space for children to play on the sand, Naples Grande hotel manages this beach area. the hotel provides umbrellas and lounge chairs, towels etc

matt v.

Yelp
Gorgeous, clean, beach front area. Amazing for fishing or for the family to enjoy the water.
google avatar

Paul D.

Yelp
Very nice beach with free golf cart service to and from the parking lot, restaurant and restrooms.
google avatar

Troy W.

Yelp
Great white sand beach. Easy parking $8 if they are tending the booth. Peaceful .6 mile walk on shaddy boardwalk or ride golf cart. Great sunset and small restaurant at the entrance with drinks and food.
google avatar

Cassandra C.

Yelp
Go right at 10 am, the team starts at 10 or you can walk the mile down to the beach. Nice as far as beaches go. Seems to be a bit ritzier than Wiggins. It also doesn't look like the beach was picked up the night before, lots of kids stuff all over with no kids in sight.
google avatar

Tracy D.

Yelp
This beach is a great find if you don't mind the walk or wait for the golf cart shuttle. As with any beach get there early to beat the crowd mostly for the shuttle. Plenty of parking for $8. We had never been so didn't know what to expect, we brought a wagon with our stuff--chairs, inflatables, umbrella and didn't feel like folding it up to use the shuttle which had a line anyways so we decided to walk. Golf cart is limited to what you can fit on your lap anyways. Two people wide each row with about 10 per shuttle. They had about 3 shuttles circling that Friday morning. It's a 15 minute fast walking or 20 minute or so stroll through the mangrove which was scenic and on a July morning steamy hot. But then we immediately jumped into the ocean when we arrived. The sweat was worth it. Beautiful flat beach, little to no waves good for little kids and plenty of space up spread out. There's a restaurant at the end of the walkway which we didn't try, it's all part of the hotel. The "boardwalk" has outdoor showers and an air pump for your inflatables. Bonus! So the downside for my kiddos was all the small (and sometimes big) fish in the ocean. Yeah I know it's an ocean. But this place has more than any of other places we visited. Maybe because there are no waves? I'm not sure. In any case they will visit with you and I caught one on my neck accidentally and it freaked me out lol. Imagine those pedicure places in Asia that put fish in "the bowl" to eat at your dead skin. Lol. So if you like this kind of stuff this beach is all yours. I suggest traveling light so you can take the shuttle, but even in our 15-20 min walk we beat the people in line to the beach or parking lot. There are two lines for the shuttle by the way-one for hotel guests and one for the rest of us. I presume hotel guests got first dibs. Enjoy!

Yelp
What a beautiful beach! I absolutely love the white sand and the beautiful water. I could've stayed in the water all day! We rented an umbrella ($22 plus tax and gratuity) which was so worth it. There is absolutely no place for shade and you will get burnt to a crisp without coverage! It was a beautiful beach to take a walk on and collect shells as well! People bring canoes and kayaks on the side of the beach where there is a smaller area to do this in. My kids enjoyed building a sand castle and spent hours doing this! We stayed all day and had a marvelous time. You can use the shuttle cars to bring you back and forth on the boardwalk to the parking lot (you can walk but it is a haul). I loved it!

Yelp
Ok, I'm a born and raised Neapolitan. I count my blessings daily that I was able to grow up in this beautiful city and to see how much it has changed over the multiple decades I've walked the earth. It's awesome to know that we still have some virtually untouched spots in town like Clam Pass, that only changes due to nature's will. It definitely is one of my most favorite places in Florida for so many reasons. Many people, like me, will launch kayaks to just paddle about enjoying the sun and water. You can also bring a paddle board, if that's your thing, but either way, this is one of the most relaxing areas to do either in Naples. There's a ton of open water, and once you get to about marker 10, the brave at heart and experienced paddler can navigate the twisting mangrove river to emerge on the northern Clam Bay, which is another beautiful experience all itself. I love getting to the Pass, climbing ashore and just chillin' in the soft, white sand to watch all the wildlife and enjoy the Gulf breeze. If you're not a paddler, you can wait for one of the trams behind the resort's hotel to drive you down to the beach. From there, you can walk north to the Pass as well. Bring your chairs, skim boards, etc. to have a great day on a pristine Naples beach, unlike most others in the area.
google avatar

Tim K.

Yelp
Very nice public beach area that is shared with the Naples Grande Beach Resort next door. There is a long boardwalk that goose through the mangroves to the beach. About a 10-15 minute walk or they have regular little shuttles that will get you out there. Beach itself is very clean and well maintained. A nice little snack bar down there as well as nice bathroom facilities. They have chairs and towels for free if staying at the resort. Available for rent for all others as well as umbrellas and cabanas. Water sport equipment also aavailable I if you want it. Last shuttle runs at sunset so if you want to be out later you will have to walk and the boardwalk is not lighted.
google avatar

Patrick K.

Yelp
Beach is absolutely beautiful! Clean awesome shells. The amenities are very poor. All amenities are for the hotel, and when asked to deviate for a disabled individual they couldn't compromise. We visited with a child with CP and the ONE beach wheel chair we were given went flat and the employees seemed to not care to much. They filled the tire with air but we were treated like we didn't matter. Really disappointed with the effort of the hotel employees. Would not recommend either the beach or the hotel.

Yelp
If you are a resident, you can get a free annual beach pass. The parking area has been redone and expanded since Irma, so make sure you go one way. I found out the hard way today.... there are no arrows on the cement, and no signs after you get into the lot- and the parking spaces aren't on an angle, so you may think- like I did, that it's just a big parking lot- we parked right away, so we didn't realize it was a large circle lot. The parking lot employee was very rude and condescending upon telling me I was going the wrong way. Like I said... there are no arrows, so I'm just supposed to know this.... even though it wasn't one way before Irma. he was confrontational and just a bitter sounding man. I'm sorry you don't like your job, but you hold a public position- so be a little friendlier. I'm a local, and not a tourist that you can be rude to. The shelling wasn't as awesome as before. I noticed there was a lot of erosion. Hopefully it's temporary. I think we will stick to Tiger Tail, or Barefoot Beach.

Yelp
Great beach for the fam or just for yourself. Come chill, play, relax, whatever. Once word of caution: parking. It sucks. There are only about 30 spots, so good luck finding a spot between 11am-3pm. We got a spot right when we got there so we were lucky. But the beach is great. Great for every single minute. You must definitely have to come visit it.
google avatar

Yelp
I was here about 3 years ago - i just came across Clam Pass Park again on yelp while planning a quick trip to Naples. i wanted to tell everyone how wonderful this park and beach is. The walk down to the beach feels like an adventure. The walkway is a long boardwalk thru a mangrove forest - its a great place to take a family. Am going to try to stop by here one afternoon again while im in town this week. I got to spend the better part of a day here last time and want to see it again. Heres the boardwalk. i took a pic last time.
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
Loved it here! There is a nice boardwalk that is six tenths of a mile to the beach. I know this because every time a cart went by the driver would stop to ask, "Do you want a ride? It's six tenths of a mile!" I get it, dude, I can handle a seven minute walk. Folks in Florida must be walking-averse. It was nice of them to ask, anyway. The boardwalk is made of that nice recycled plastic composite, so it's great for strollers/bikes/etc. You go through a mangrove forest, some of it obviously damaged by Irma but beautiful nonetheless. Whomever maintains the park and walkway was thoughtful enough to include signage about the plants and animal/insect life. At the end of the boardwalk there is a full service restaurant (at which I did not eat), a bar and a rental place for SUP boards and kayaks. Drinks were pricey ($13 for a marg) but I'm on vacation so whatever. The beach was lovely, populated but not overly so. There are places to sit that are umbrella-shaded. Nice way to spend a relaxing day or afternoon.

Yelp
If you have the time to make clam pass beach your destination just realize the parking is at the end of Seagate dr. / Pine Ridge rd. Take it over 41 and keep going west. There is a guard gate which waves you in with your beach parking sticker. Otherwise go to the centralized parking machine to buy a day pass for $8. Leave it on your dashboard. They have golf carts to shuttle you and your stuff to the beach. It's rarely too long a wait even during season. The beach is very clean only a few abandoned or lost sand toys. That could be found treasures for kids. It's narrow compared to most every other beach around. So when it's not packed it looks packed anyway. Just because the density effect of less land and more people. The men's room was fairly clean. With big speakers inside. They have a greek menu and cafe area on the deck with plenty of seating and shade covered seats. I usually pack a cooler fishing gear along with sunblock. State residents are allowed a free shore fishing permit. There are also allowance for active duty, seniors, and children. I wish I took a picture of the stuff they allowed and didn't allow. Oh well I guess I have a reason to return. 17/2015

Yelp
We came here in February in the middle of the week so we were expecting it to be a little less crowded. Surprisingly, it was still pretty crowded which made it hard to find a spot on the beach. Nevertheless, the beach was very nice. My wife is into shelling and we were able to find a lot of nice unique shells. The kids were a little bored as the beach itself is pretty small and the swimming wasn't great, but the beach was beautiful. We also enjoyed the restaurant. The food was good and the view of the beach and ocean was outstanding. Be prepared, though, as the food and drinks there are very pricey. Due to the number of people, we decided to walk to the beach rather than wait for an available tram. It was a long walk, but a very nice scenic one. We enjoyed the walk so much, we decided to skip the tram and walk back as well. Overall, a very nice experience.

Yelp
An excellent place to visit! Transportation from the parking lot to the beach. Very clean, quiet and relaxing

Yelp
Lovely beach with beautiful sand. I enjoyed my weekend while I was at the Naples resort. Would definitely recommend if you want something relaxing!
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Calmest waters and softest sand that we found while visiting Naples! Parking lot is $8 to park and you can't see the beach. Grab your stuff and walk to the path where you will be greeted by golf carts to take you right to the beach!

Emilio A.

Yelp
One of the most beautifull places in florida !! Recommended 100! 10 stars out of 5 !!!

Yelp
This is one of our favorite beach in Naples. We enjoyed the walk along the path through nature. We will definitely come back. We love the turquoise blue water and when we walk out the water still shallow.

Yelp
4 stars! For a beach beauty, where the journey is just as scenic as the destination! Off the bat, we made a bit of an amateur move by deciding on a Memorial Day weekend beach day in Naples. Oops! You couldn't ask for a busier beach weekend, but it was a beautiful day that couldn't be passed up, so we were going to make it work no matter what! Public parking at the Naples beaches is pretty limited to begin with, so of course it was next to non-existent this busy holiday weekend. When we got to Clam Pass Beach Park, dipping into our pockets for the $8 all day parking fee was kind of a no brainer. It is $50 for an annual beach parking pass, so if you know you're going to be back a bunch its worth buying the annual pass. Although we had to wait in a short line, there was ample parking as it is probably one of the largest parking lots in the Naples beach area. Clam Pass Beach Park is totally different from the other Naples beaches, as you have to travel by way of a long winding boardwalk through beautiful mangroves and over some small bridges in order to get to the beach. It feels quite "island-esque" in the sense that you have to take this slightly off the beaten path journey to reach your beach paradise, which I love. While beautiful, it can also be quite buggy and the walk will take you 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace and how much beach gear you are carrying. Thankfully, if a long hot walk isn't what you signed up for or if you have a bunch of stuff, I would highly recommend taking the golf cart trolleys that are available to take people to and from the beach. The carts are complimentary and run pretty regularly. Super helpful and understanding to people's walking limitations, so kudos to them on that! No bikes, cars, or rollerblades allowed in the park, so it's either walk or take the golf cart trolley to get to the beach. We ended up walking instead of waiting for a trolley (insanely long lines for this crowded beach day) and enjoyed our natural surroundings as we made our way to the beach. Important to note though, while there are some trees overhead and surrounding the boardwalk, most of the boardwalk isn't shaded, so be prepared for a hot to trot walk! All worth it to enjoy the natural setting, but let's just say I was ready to throw my beach gear down and dive head first into the gulf as soon as we reached the beach. Once we reached the beach, there was a restaurant with a large deck and outdoor seating (with umbrellas) as well as public restrooms. Yay for restrooms! You don't get that at every beach, so huge plus here, especially with how far from the parking lot you are. The restaurant sold gyros and other greek food, as well as alcoholic beverages (woo hoo!) if you forgot to pack food and drinks for your beach day. Since it's a bit of a trek back and forth to the parking lot, make sure to have a food plan in place before coming to this beach. They also have fun water activities available as well as beach chairs to rent for people's convenience. The beach itself was absolutely glorious (minus the large crowds)! Soft clean sand, a bunch of sandbars to swim out to, and fun shoreline snorkeling through the crystal clear waters. Nothing spectacular on the shell front though, if the shell hunt is what you are looking for. With it's long beautiful sandy stretches of beach it's a perfect beach walk locale! Going north on the beach will take you to Clam Pass itself, a calm and beautiful inlet that leads from the mangroves out to the gulf. It's fun to watch the kayakers go in and out of the pass and if you're feeling a little adventurous, you can swim across to the beach across the way as the pass itself isn't that wide. Walking south you get less people and more beach as there are only a few beach access points along the way. For those interested in a more quiet and private beach day, I would recommend situating yourself somewhere south of the main entrance. The only reason this was a 4 star experience was due to the crowded holiday weekend elements (parking wait time, trolley wait time, crowded beach). Overall, everything about Clam Pass Beach Park adds up to 5 stars in my book, so I look forward to coming back for that truly 5 star potential that I know is there!

Yelp
We decided to walk the boardwalk to the beach instead of riding the oversized golf cart. It was only a 14 minute leisurely walk. Thought it would take longer. It was nice. Haven't spent time on the beach yet as we just got here and are exploring. We did however share a $12 falafel w/fries for lunch at the snack stand there. It was a very generous entree, and then added a $4 soda...which you are entitled to one free refill. They won't tell you this. I had asked. Looking forward to other times here at the beach and stand. The burger and chicken tenders also looked good. We did walk back and again at a normal pace, only 14 minutes. We did enjoy the ride earlier in the month when visiting. Enjoy your time here!

Yelp
My brother has called for any red tide they said they did not but apparently they do they should have cleaned up the beach, now that we know that there's not a soul here it's disgusting. They don't clean up the public side it's really bad.

Yelp
Unless you're a hotel guest expect to wait 30 minutes for a tram while being cut in front of by hotel guests or else walk the whole way there and back. Will never come back.

Yelp
Wonderful, scenic, clean beach! You can access the beach from the park or from The Naples Grande Beach Resort, by walking on the boardwalk. The boardwalk is about a mile long from both the park and hotel. It is heavily shaded and well maintained. There are golf carts that can take you to and from the beach and drop you off at the hotel or park. The beach is very clean and uncrowded. The space between the shore and vegetation is short, but even when I visited on a Saturday there were only a few people. If you're ever in Naples and looking for a beach to kick-back at, Clam Pass Beach Park is the one to visit!!

Yelp
What a nice surprise this beach was! My parents had mentioned it to me because there is a mango tree nearby where you can grab some free, fresh mangoes. I parked across the street and walked because I didn't want to pay for the parking. Make sure to bring about $20 bucks if you pay for parking, tip your driver, and want some kind of snack. If you want to take your beach experience up a notch and do it Elite style, bring way more money! The beds to lay on cost about $350-$400 depending on the season. If you buy the bed, 5 lunches, and all day inclusive water sports come with your purchase. There are options for just chairs and umbrellas as well. Or take the cheaper way and bring your own beach treats and belongings with you. Definitely take the tram if you're hauling stuff. It's at least a mile from the parking lot to the beach. It is very quiet and a relaxing walk.
