"To the backdrop of a neon sign “Não apague o meu fogo” (“Don’t put out my fire”) clearly visible above the door, chefs Pepo Figueiredo and Newton Rique showcase cuisine in which fire plays a key role here, enabling them to prepare fresh ingredients imbued with a special flavour. In this industrial-style ambience with a predominance of raw concrete, a sturdy tree takes centre stage in the middle of the dining room. I recently visited this place and had the BBQ Burger, and it was genuinely one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. The patty was outstanding: incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and impressively juicy. The rich, smoky BBQ taste really made it stand out. We didn’t reserve a table and ended up waiting for about an hour, but the wait was absolutely worth it. If you plan to come here, you should definitely make a reservation. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality of the burger, especially the patty, makes it completely worth it. I highly recommend this spot to any burger lover.

Is it the best burger in Rio de Janeiro? YES And it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had overall! Restaurant is nice, staff are friendly enough. It is pricey and the wait is a bit much, but definitely wasn’t disappointed with the food.

I had dinner at the bar and loved the experience! The octopus with potatoes was so so delicious and even the salad was tasty. The staff was super nice - waiters as well as the bar tenders. Loved the seat at the bar to watch all the amazing food they prepared.

Clan BBQ claims to have the best burger in Brazil, and while their burgers are indeed amazing, I believe the real highlights are their vegetable appetizers. The grilled eggplant was the best I've ever had, and the cauliflower was equally mouthwatering. The carpaccio was also quite good. As for the burger, it is cooked to perfection and tastes incredible; however, for me, the fries were the true star of the meal. The paprika seasoning added a tasty and smoky flavor. The restaurant itself has limited seating, so it fills up quickly. I also want to give a special shout-out to our server, Jonathan, who went above and beyond—he truly deserves recognition. Overall, it's a fantastic addition to Dias Ferreira Street.

We waited at least 30 minutes for a table, and when our turn finally came, they only gave us a 3-minute window to show up or lose the spot. We were having drinks at another bar nearby, so my husband had to rush over to check us in and left me to pay the bill. I don’t speak Portuguese and had a misunderstanding with the waiter, so my husband had to come back to help—and by then we’d lost our spot at Clan and had to wait all over again. That whole experience really killed my mood, so take that into account when reading the rest. We ordered the truffle fries, the burger, the cauliflower, and the carpaccio de rosbife. The truffle fries were fine but nothing special. If you like a very fatty, juicy burger, you’d probably enjoy theirs—my husband loved it—but I found it too fatty and salty. The cauliflower felt like a healthier option and was flavorful, but I wish it had been grilled a bit longer. The carpaccio de rosbife was just okay and a bit lacking in flavor. On top of that, I couldn’t get their English menu to display properly on my devices, which made ordering more difficult. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I personally found the place overrated and overpriced.

I wanted to like this place so much based on the reviews and the "best burger in brazil" label I saw. I was just so disappointed with everything but the French fries. Pro: - the food and drink menu is great - the atmosphere and location is great - service is friendly - the burger was fine, but there was no lettuce, onions, etc. Just bread, sauce, beef. It wasn't bad just wasn't "the best burger in rio" Con: - the appatizers all disapointed me from the corn to the cauliflower. corn was bitter, old, not fresh, and extremely hard. Cauliflower was just a massive piece/ head of grilled cauliflower with some condiments on top of it. - expensive This place has alot of potential and I am sure I caught it on an off day! Will return to re-acess.
