I know everybody and their brother has reviewed this place, but I’m gonna give it one more very positive review and include photos of creative and well matched items. We were fascinated and enjoyed the complete menu. The only thing that went a bit too far was the chocolate mousse with multiple other things in included in it. The mousse itself was excellent and would’ve been better left alone. Bravo!!!

We went here recently because we live nearby and were delighted to have tried it out. It’s a small space with limited opening hours, so you might have to book well in advance. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was nice and calm. This is a sister restaurant to Bastible, and while there are similarities, there are also a tonne of differences. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who enjoys tasting menus and trying new foods and combos.👌🏼 💫

This was such a nice hidden place to find! You have to reserve and the dishes change monthly. the course is a slow paced dinner so a lot of time to catch up with friends but beware if you have plans afterwards! The full tasting course took almost 2.5 hours (6:30 until 9pm~)

The ambience is neither luxurious nor especially comfortable. However, the food is fantastic. The Veal sweetbread is one of the best I've ever eaten and could be on the menu of a 3-star Michelin restaurant. The dish was well-conceived and perfectly executed. The service is efficient and kind. I strongly recommend ordering the tasting menu, because it offers a great cost-benefit ratio.

The balance of ingredients are perfect, tuna tartare’s umami enhanced by the parsnip and the jalapeño & coriander sauce added refreshing note to the taste. Smoked trout amazingly good, that’s the second time in my life eating non-salty smoked fish, really impressive, the flavour enhanced by fermentation of protein and subtle salty sweetness balanced with the potatoes, fried mussles(juicy bomb!). I had the french toast as dessert, rhubarb icecream was nice but totally too many food for me. I was sampling this place alone and I’m happy that it would be note down on my list to bring friends for gathering celebrating special occasions. Lovely staff, thanks for all your help, looking forward to the dinner tasting menu with donuts!

Charming local restaurant! Our lovely server was very knowledgeable about the wine menu and offered her recommendations. We opted for a Sardinian red which was very interesting and easy to drink. The food as a whole was well thought out and you can tell the chefs know flavour. The scallops were cooked to perfection and my dining partner was very impressed with her fallow deer. The only let down sadly was the cheeseboard... Neither of us enjoyed the oatcakes and would have preferred a crisp cracker but that could be a personal preference. Also the apple jelly wasn't a crowd pleaser for us. Overall it was an enjoyable visit and I would wholeheartedly recommend.

A must visit dining experience in the heart of Dublin. The food is refined and warming to the soul. A tasty experience for anyone looking to venture outside their culinary palette. The friendly staff make the cozy setting a wonderful place to dine for two or four people. If you’re visiting Dublin for the weekend make sure to book a reservation in advance, you don’t want to miss out! Cheers!

This is the best meal we had in Dublin! Food taste and presentation was beautiful - loved everything we had. You can really tell that every ingredient is sourced from the best Irish produce too. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We recently went here for a friends birthday, the 6 course tasting menu was phenomenal. The service was great and they let us eat at our own pace. The atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet enough to have a conversation. Each course offered something different and unique including the vegetarian tasting menu. The wine pairings for 3 courses at a time was also a nice change of pace and complimentary of the different profiles of each course. I couldn't pick a favorite course which is surprising since I usually do not enjoy desserts. I can't wait to return if I'm ever in Dublin again.

Yelp
Small but exceptional. Small restaurant but serving some excellent fare. The menu like the interior is also compact as is the wine list but overall it's a winner from start to finish. The rhubarb tart was exceptional and cod have happily eaten another two. The hash brown chips also a bit if a revelation.

Yelp
Small but perfectly formed and that is not a description of the dishes!!! Lovely cosy restaurant. The server that looked after us was terrific. We arrived early for our reservation but it wasn't an issue. Everything I ate was delicious. Got a snack of trout on sourdough toast. My starter was the scallops special I usually don't like rib eye but that's what I chose for my main and wow wow wow it was melt in the mouth perfection. The carrot that came with it also v yum! Also am not a fan of potatoes but I tried one of the hash brown chips and am delighted I did. Crispy on the outside and silky on the inside. Not a potato texture I'm familiar with and it was fab. Dessert I chose the chocolate mousse which came with honeycomb and a marmalade ice-cream. Finished off with some filter coffee. Yes it's not in the city centre but so what? It's well worth trying to get a table here and travelling to. Probably hands down the best meal I've had in Dublin in a LONG time
