Clandestino Gastro-Bar

We've enjoyed Clandestino since the time they opened. Their food is fresh, with lots of varieties on the menu which always changes to keep it interesting. Their drinks are also fresh, very flavorful, and not watered down. The staff is always such a pleasure to have serve us, and they are very gracious and attentive. Such a welcome pleasure to be greeted with smiles and thankfulness! Tonight's delight was: Clandestino Burrito, light and flavorful. Fresh Guac and Chips...delicious! Arugula and Apple salad with Grilled Chicken...perfectly seasoned and cooked! Their food is not only delicious but beautiful to look at!

First time ever coming to this place and it did not disappoint, we decided to come from the high desert and try it out . Let me tell you, it was worth the drive . Customer service was great and welcoming, atmosphere was good not too busy and tables were spacious. The food was delicious and had so much flavor, I ordered the chicken green chili enchiladas. It also had rice and beans on the side , it was delicious. I would order that same meal again .The cucumber drink was refreshing as well. The cooks did a great job with the food! Highly recommend this spot .

Pretty bomb. Been wanting to go here since it open, was not disappointed! Chiliquilles were some of the best in the county. They were busy, but the hostess was super cool, attentive and didn't make us feel like we were rushed. The enchiladas looked fantastic as well. The price was below average and there's still quite sizeable portions. I'll definitely be back!

Went for brunch the other day and had such a great time! The food was great and the drinks were even better. I got the chilaquiles but misstated how I wanted my eggs cooked and got them a little more well done than I’d hoped, but it was still SO good! I think the main reason I had such an enjoyable experience - aside from the wonderful company - was the staff! They were so helpful, kind, and warm! They brought my dog some water and were so nice to her. It was a really great time; I will definitely be back!

New review: We returned to this place and made a reservation, but it turned out to be unnecessary as it was fairly quiet, with just one large party outdoors. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious, and the drinks were excellent. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! Initial review: I met up with a customer at this location and we were lucky to snag a table right away. Soon after, larger parties started arriving and had to wait. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, advising us to order quickly since the kitchen was getting busy. We started with a couple of appetizers—the pork belly bites and shrimp lollipops—which were fantastic. I also tried the cucumber lemonade, which was incredibly refreshing, especially in the heat. We ordered the chilaquiles for our main course, but by then, we were already full, so most of it was packed to go. I’ll definitely recommend this place to clients. Since I work remotely, it’s a perfect halfway point for meetings.

Amazing taste and flavor the chilaquiles steak burrito was great , my wife got the pork belly chilaquiles burrito and it was out of this world. The service was great, very friendly and informative. The staff greets you as soon as you walk into the restaurant. The ambiance is great very nice and inviting the walls are decorated and the place looks very clean. This is our 2nd time here and this place has not disappointed. A must go if you’re in the mood for great food. Parking is not a problem here.

I went here yesterday with my friends and we’re got off to a wrong start because we weren’t greeted till maybe 5-8 minutes after waiting up front. The girl who came to sit us was very serious and had an attitude. She made a very rude remark to us so we were honestly getting ready to leave but then this sweet lady (Jasmin) came to our table, introduced herself, told us about their specialties and brought us waters till we decided on our drinks. She came back a few minutes later and was very patient with us as it was our first time and had questions about the menu. She gave us recommendations (chilaquiles and aguachiles) which we got. She came to check on us a few times and really she just had such a great and positive attitude which was contagious. I will definitely be coming here again when in Azusa. The mango mimosas were so good. The chilaquiles were really good but just too spicy for my preference and same for the aguachiles but if you like spicy then I’d recommend. Thank you again to Jasmin for turning around our experience from a bad start to a great dining experience.

Our first time there, everything was so delicious & the portions were generous. Couldn’t really “adapt” some dishes but still, would certainly come back 👍🏻
