Loved the food and the service was great. Been there for dinner and breakfast, both delicious. Ot does get a bit noisy inside so you may want to sit outside. Can't wait to go again.

Our server Jasmine was phenomenal! Very sweet and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. The food is huge... you definitely need a friend to help eat. My new favorite brunch gem in Azusa!!!

The experience at Clandestino today was really disappointing. We decided to come here after seeing it featured on Instagram by GrubWithGreg, which is what convinced us to drive an hour from Manhattan Beach, CA. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the trip. When we arrived, my fiancé and I were shocked to learn that anyone at the table is required to order the all-you-can-eat wings. I didn’t even want wings—I wanted to order another item off the menu—but I was forced to order them anyway. That alone was extremely frustrating. The rules were excessive: * Everyone at your table is required to order the all-you-can-eat wings. * You’re only given 90 minutes to order refills • The first order is 10 wings, then only 5 wings per order after that • You get one tiny sample-size cup of ranch, and it’s $1.50 for each additional cup (you can clearly see how small it is in the photos) With all these stipulations, the experience felt more restrictive than enjoyable. There should absolutely be a sign at the front door clearly explaining the rules before customers are seated. To make things worse, the waiter explained one set of rules to us, but then gave a different set of rules to another table, which felt very inconsistent and unfair. Service was terrible. The waiter barely checked on us, never offered refills, and didn’t come back to take another wing order. It honestly felt like he was intentionally running out the 90-minute time limit so we couldn’t order more wings. The one positive: the Thai chili wings were crispy and had great flavor. Lastly, I asked to speak with the manager—and no one ever came to our table. That was extremely unprofessional and left a bad final impression. Overall, this place did not live up to the hype, and I regret making the long drive. Believe me I'm a google reviewer and will give credit where credit is due.

Visited Sunday, November 9th 2025, around 12 pm. We tried to visit this spot about 8 months ago and the waiting time was approximately 1 hour. We arrived. They were able to see us right away. Drinks: Started with a bloody Mary — came with three olives. No celery stick. We have the cafe de la olla - This drink is absolutely amazing. It does not need any sugar or milk. It's perfect the way it comes. Appetizers: We didn't have any appetizers with our meal since what we were ordering was going to be huge portions. And I don't think I was ready to pay $16 for for chips and salsa lol. Entrée: I had the 16 oz ribeye red and green chilaquiles. I'm usually a green chilaquila guy, but today I got more flavor out of the red than the green. I think it's best to start with the green since when the meal arrives. The chips are still crunchy and by the time you get to the red they're more on the traditional side how mom used to make them . The chilaquila play was accompanied by country style potatoes which were very tender and delicious and the refried beans were oh my God. Very delicious. They had this hint of chili, probably Chipotle that just complimented the meal. They gave us some chimichurri with the ribeye chilaquiles and they served it in this Little dipping cup. The ones that you get at a hamburger place When you want ketchup with your fries. It's made of plastic not paper and they filled it to about a quarter of the way. And because it wasn't enough when we asked to waitress for more to enjoy our meal, it was a dollar for extra and then when they serve the extra I came about halfway full. They gave us two cups. Now I'm all for paying a little bit extra but this chimichurri did not taste fresh. If you guys are going to charge for something like this then you got to ensure that all the ingredients are fresh and that the flavor completely knocks your socks off. Trust me you guys can do better. Wife had the churro pancakes. Beautifully decorated. Very tasty. I personally am not much of a sweet person however you like churros. It's good to have a bite or scoop from anyone who's ordering this. My daughter had the pancakes. They were very good and fluffy very well made. They come with fruit in this case it was blueberries and strawberries which were fresh My son had a chicken burrito. He's very picky and it came with the side order of crisp fries. These fries were very delicious. They're nice size portions. My son left about a quarter of his burrito left since he was full. Sides: wife got a side of sausage with her pancakes came with about four links. Bigger than your normal store-bought size and cooked to perfection . My son's burrito came with these delicious crispy golden brown fries. You can hear the crisp in every bite. We had a side of refried beans that had a hint of Chipotle chili with them. They were topped with cheese. These things reminded me of my grandfather's Ranch in Mexico. You could literally eat these beans with homemade tortillas as is. A little Cafe de olla with them, And you're good to go. This can be a morning treat. Service: Our waitress was spot on. She asked questions about our experience with the restaurant and broke down the menu thoroughly and quickly, she asked if we were old kid with with certain little things like onion and sour cream and things like that to make sure that our meal was to our liking. Ambience: The ambience is pretty mellow. It was afternoon. They had the door open which was good and bad. You got a nice little Cool breeze but at the same time he also got some flies which was a big No-No . They have several TVs on the inside so you can watch a game and they also have outside seating with canopy style nets so you can eat alfresco without getting beaten down by the sun Overall: We primarily went there for the the ribeye steak Chilaquiles the meal did not disappoint. The portions were huge. Did pay a little bit more than expected But the portions were on point

This was a must stop on our road trip, and it didn't not disappoint! Fantastic food, and even better service. I will definitely be back when I am in the area. Zero complaints.

We've enjoyed Clandestino since the time they opened. Their food is fresh, with lots of varieties on the menu which always changes to keep it interesting. Their drinks are also fresh, very flavorful, and not watered down. The staff is always such a pleasure to have serve us, and they are very gracious and attentive. Such a welcome pleasure to be greeted with smiles and thankfulness! Tonight's delight was: Clandestino Burrito, light and flavorful. Fresh Guac and Chips...delicious! Arugula and Apple salad with Grilled Chicken...perfectly seasoned and cooked! Their food is not only delicious but beautiful to look at!

1st time here. Had the Fish Tacos. They were the best Fish Tacos I've ever had. Friend had the Veggies Tacos and were fantastic. Great service Jasmine was fantastic.

Almost a 5 star buttt the service lacked towards the end. First let's start in the good stuff, food was amazing we got the unlimited wings for $20 and the mitches omg! all the flavors where delicious except the butter garlic Wich they where all out and we didn't get to try. The Thai ones where were the best for us but must try all of them they are all delicious! Very cool place to have dinner, relaxed vibe. They have outdoor sitting. Overall good Regarding service at end they forgot to give us ranch when we asked and wings kept getting there later and later. we will be back tho, food was tasty

I gotta say they drop the ball on this dish That was horrible the taste was off. That was not it at all. Service was great always. The vibe chill.

My family and I were excited to try the $20 unlimited chicken wings, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Please note that everyone at the table is required to order the $20 unlimited wings since it cannot be shared even a 5-year-old child needs to get their own order. Each person is limited to 10 pieces of chicken per batch, so for our first order, we got 40 pieces (10 each person): 20 plain wings and 20 flavored wings (spicy and the one with the white sauce). Sadly, the wings were very dry. It honestly tasted like they were refried, which really affected the quality. We also ordered 2 mac and cheese and fries on the side, and even the Coke tasted bland. Overall, it felt like a waste of money. We wish we had ordered something else from the menu instead. We will not be coming back.

This place is like a teeter-totter; but your partner is a fat kid that eats somewhere other than Clandestino and enjoyed the food way too much. This very satisfied kid left you stuck in the air, your feet dangling for over five minutes, with no food and no service. Just like the last time we visited Clandistino, so we left. I want to like this place. I'll repeat that, "I want to like this place." I've come more than a few times to give them a shot, but they keep falling short, like a horseshoe stuck five inches from the stake. Coming close with food and service is a no-go in my book; the dual experience killer. If you come at night the restaurant is consistently dark and singularly illuminated by a blaring neon white sign. I could easily even out my tan if seated too close to it and would need a flashlight to read the menu if seated too far. The first couple times I visited I couldn't understand what all the hype was about, it made me feel like the adds on insta and reviews in Yelp were saccharine. And if I can use saccharine in a sentence and it's not about sweetener in my iced tea, it must be a reference to being artificial. I glare unapologetically at my yelp friends with zero friends and no other reviews except the one for Clandestino. The food has been average. Just average. It's not made with love. It appears what is clandestine at Clandestino is consistent food and service.

Second time coming here, this time we brought our toddler. Although we got sat down quickly and our drinks arrived quickly, food took waaay too long to arrive. It got to the point that the toddler completely lost it. We ultimately decided to ask do our food to go. Sadly I won't be returning.

Came on a Wednesday around 6PM and it was already busy. Check-in is by phone number and we waited about 30-40 mins. They share parking with Smart & Final so it fills up fast, but street parking wasn't too bad. It did seem like they were a little short staffed, service was a bit slow at times,but the food made up for it. We came for the $20 Bottomless Wings and it's honestly a solid deal. You start with 10 wings (up to 2 flavors), then 5 wings per round after that (1 flavor each round). Flavors we tried: Buffalo, BBQ, Mango Habanero, Garlic Parmesan, Thai, Thai Spicy. All of them were cooked well and still crispy even after being sauced. Mango Habanero and BBQ were my favorites. House Nachos were loaded and perfect to snack on between rounds. Cocktails were balanced and tasty. The Spiced Sangria was good, just not a fan of the cinnamon on top (personal preference). Overall: Great wing special Good drinks Expect a wait on busy nights Would definitely come back for wings and cocktails.

Sunday Morning, Brunch 10am-ish Was about 45 min wait. Large Party, 15 people No waiting area. Shopping Center with Smart and Final Parking was ok, but already busy at 10am Server's & Busser's were Polite . Food Was Good.. Not to bad Indoor and Outdoor Dining Area . Woman's Restroom should be checked more often, do to it being only one stall.

Came to try out their happy hour ayce wings and the staff was friendly. Both male servers knew the menu well. The sauce options for the wings were I believe buffalo,Thai,bbq,mango habanero, garlic Parmesan and I think maybe one more option. They start you with 10 wings, then go 5 and so on. You can stay the same flavor or try a new one. I liked the roast/fry they did on these wings. Still crispy and sauced well. Restaurant was nice and the decor looked good.

Hidden masterpiece in the heart of Azusa. Lively atmosphere and super helpful staff. Started off with coffee and strawberry horchata. The strawberry horchata is a must try. Super tasty and fresh. My kids loved it. The coffee was solid too. I ordered chilaquiles with pork belly and I was very impressed with how good they were. Huge flavorful portions and well prepared. My wife had their chilaquiles burrito and she couldn't finish it. She enjoyed it. My kids shared tres leches pancakes and avocado toast. Needless to say they had no complaints but a smile on their face.we were really impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and how helpful every waiter was. Can't wait to come back.

Busy place. I was looking hard at the food and drinks being delivered while we waited for a table. Drinks looked fabulous. Nothing too exciting caught my eye on the menu. I finally decided on pork belly and a Dr Pepper. Pork belly came with tortillas and some sauce. It was yummy. Some pieces needed to be cooked a little longer but it was good. Our server was nice but not too familiar with the menu, our opinion. My friend ordered fish and chips. We got our food way before she got hers. When it finally came out it was fish tacos with rice and beans. the server told her that was the fish and chips. Who was he trying to fool. He asked if there was anything he could do. She asked for a side of fries. The fries were cold and soggy. Not good at all. We asked another server to explain what the fish and chips were. She did and as we thought. Our server was wrong and we did receive the wrong meal. When our checks came he charged her for the fries. I requested he take off the fries and he did. Even though my pork belly was delicious, our overall experience was not.

My boyfriend recently moved to the area, and he kept raving on about this place. So, we came here for a date night and I 100% understand him now. The staff were all super kind, even though I asked them to move our table 3 times due to hearing issues. The ambience of the place was even greater, I highly recommend sitting outside and getting the full view if you can. Moving onto drinks, we got the margarita flight with the flavors chili mango, cucumber jalapeño, guayaba, sandía, and lime. I love margaritas, and the presentation was beautiful, but the drink was kind of syrupy itself. Neither of us finished our drinks fully because the bottom was just full of added flavors that weren't tasteful. However, those little drinks do hold a lot of alcohol, and I do really appreciate the bartenders for that. The chilaquiles were the main reason we came. The steak was a little dry BUT that is not their fault, we should've gotten our steak medium/rare instead of medium well. The egg whites were super soft and delicious and paired nicely with the other components of the meal. my boyfriend did say he was not a fan of the chips this time around, but usually they are up to par to his standards. All in all, please try Clandestinos. Whether you're in the area, if you're looking for something filling, or if you just like my review and want to try for yourself.

Wow!! I'm a sucker for good chilaquiles and this place top notched it with the chilaquiles!! My husband and I shared the ribeye chilaquiles and the plate had half green and half red chilaquiles! This shareable plate was phenomenal! We also ordered some cafe de olla which was sooo good!!! And a side of pork belly (really good too)...Service was nice, the restaurant was clean and very nicely decorated...we can't wait to go back and try their dinner plates! Highly recommend!

Service was fantastic and the portions were large without sacrificing great ingredients and flavor. I had the egg white omelette with spinach and mushrooms. The green sauce was flavorful without being overly spicy. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great with modern decor and plenty of space between tables.

Driving by and noticed the signage for Clandestino's. Did a quick Yelp review to see what they had to offer. Reviews were a mixed bag...some good...some not so good. You never know until you try. At first glance, I was not impressed with their brunch offerings. Hubby had decided on the Chilaquiles. One of his favorites. I decided I could give them a try as well. I'm not into soggy chips though. I much prefer nachos with the works. Our waiter told us about the daily specials. I settle for the rib eye steak tacos. 3 tacos for $28 is a bit steep...but it is ribeye steak. Overall, the food had a nice flavor. I liked that you can customize the tacos. Tacos are served with guacamole, chopped onions, chopped cilantro and salsa. Hubby enjoyed his chilaquiles. He especially liked the beans because they had a bit of a kick. He said the pork belly was nothing special though. Once again you have the option to customize your chilaquiles. However, there is an up charge for each additional item. Steak, Pork Belly, Chicken, Egg. What I didn't like was that I thought the music was loud for lunch service. Plus there was a table of 6 that were equally loud. Maybe if you are out partying and drinking it would be a different vibe.

Stopped by for brunch after constantly seeing this spot come up on Yelp. Easy parking, and we were seated at the patio right away. The shrimp aguachile was quite spicy, but super tangy and delicious! I loved the little spicy aioli it came with. I do wish the shrimp was cut into smaller pieces and cured for longer. The cranberry mimosa was excellent. The ribeye chilaquiles were so heavy but really good! The ribeye was cooked very well, but lacked a bit of seasoning. My partner said he wished the chilaquiles themselves had more flavor, and we both wished for a crispy exterior on the roasted potatoes. Overall, very solid! It was quite lively on the patio, especially after APU graduation ceremonies.

Amazing experience coming in today!!! I'm writing this post primarily because our male server was sooo good to my dad and I today!!! Uggg, I wish i caught his name!!!! He was so sweet and was so accommodating for all of my requests!! Very sweet & frequently checked in on us. Also whatever we ordered was soooo good. Obsessed with the steak.

When you walk in this spot, feels like you might've seen it on a foodie influencer's post. Modern vibes for sure. There's a ton of art on the wall, the kind you post selfies with. But I wasn't there for that. We were there for the actual food and the reviews did not disappoint. There's seating inside and out but we decided to stick to the indoor seating since it was in the 90s. I melt pretty easily. It didn't look to busy either on Saturday early afternoon. We were sat immediately. They do play some louder than normal music so don't expect something too quiet and relaxing here. Still good vibes for sure! We decided to share the Rib Eye Chilaquiles. The tables around us had ordered the entree and it looked gigantic and a decent size for two. The meat was cooked as requested, medium rare, and it was the most tastiest meat ever. So juicy. The green chilaquile sauce was amazing and I loved how the tortilla chips stayed crunchy till the end. The dish comes with a side of home fries and beans. We couldn't finish this at all. We were glad we hadn't ordered an appetizer either. We were left fully satisfied and content. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. Service was pretty decent as well.

Finally visited this place! To see what all the fuss is 'bout. No reservations needed. First come first serve. I came on a Sunday around 130PM and waited in line for about 10 minutes. (I don't know why it wasn't that busy) I immediately noticed something that all the servers I saw had in common. NO SMILES.... The food was good. Not like impressively good. I think the appeal to be honest is the presentation. It's expensive, too. Cocktails are nice. Also it's the presentation. Also, pricey. My date confirmed the women's bathroom was grossly dirty. (No bueno) These bathrooms are small so why not well maintained? You need more bathrooms, too. I wasn't that impressed. I think this place could use a Dj in the patio for brunch Saturdays and Sundays which would then create a better and different vibe. Would I come back? NO. Specially when I walk into a room and have to be the vibe with a simple smile. NOT ONE SERVER THAT I ENCOUNTERED HERE; SMILED. Tired? Hung-Over? Unhappy with the gig? I didn't find out. It's not my job...... I spent a little over $150 at this place and I don't think it was worth the experience. My date had a cheese quesadilla and a side of beans. Plus, who wants to be in the company of "frowners?" Not me.......

First time trying this location after wanting to for such a long time as we live down the street. Honestly i was disappointed, truthfully food is ok, but ordered the chilaquiles with green sauce and they literally only had drops of green sauce so basically just eating chips, I ended up using the salad from the guacamole and chips we ordered to make it tastier. Typically should have a noticeable amount of sauce- but didn't. Beans were delicious. We also ordered the breakfast burrito, which they only wrap it with one tortilla and didn't wrap it quite tight, so easily came apart. We seen multiple dishes going out and they all looked beautiful for the aesthetic. We also ordered the chilaquiles omelet, which did come with all the green sauce. Overall, cute place as I know social media makes it seem better. We went a long time without a simple refill- but they are very busy, so difficult to balance everyone.

Mixed reviews. The food has always been great here however we chose to bring my daughter in law for her birthday here for brunch as they advertised on instagram that they have an oldies themed lunch with oldies music. Well ........that was disappointing as no oldies music. When we asked our waiter and the hostess they both said they had no knowledge. I would give it a five but they falsely advertised as to what they offer even in their food offerings such as the chile relleno burrito. The food has never disappointed but they need to communicate with the person that puts out their social media.

The food and service here has always been great. Be prepared to wait during weekend brunch. Parking is fairly easy since there's a lot. Haven't had a chance to sit outside but inside has been great. Also great when games are shown on the TV. Definitely worth a try!

The service was great! We started with Jasmine, who then switched us to Marilyn and they were both very attentive, friendly, and informative. All the food was great! I had Huevos Rancheros, my mom had an Omelette and my brother had Pancakes. We shared some chips and guacamole too. The guacamole was a bit bland for our taste, but that was the only food item that wasn't outstanding. The salsas were very tasty, and so was my Michelada. We'll definitely be back!

Clandestino, is a nice little hidden restaurant tucked away into the city of Azusa. This restaurant is very popular with the Latin ambiance and extravagant interior they carry. My family and I went early in the morning during the weekend and beat the brunch rush perfectly which typically starts around 10 Id say. Food wise the pancakes were good, I believe the raspberry compote, fresh berrys and whip cream is what really made it stand out. Chilaquiles on the other hand, were just okay nothing too special to make them stand out. A side of beans, potatoes, and choice of protein. (This is what they are known for by the way) Drinks were refreshing. In the photos I have a Bloody Mary and the margarita flight. Bloody Mary was mixed well with a good base. All of the margaritas were refreshing but a bit sweet, barely tasting the alcohol & mostly the other stuff that is mixed into it. You are also unable to choose which type of margaritas to go into the flight as it comes preset I assume? which I thought was a bummer. Overall I see clandestino as one of those instagrammable places, food isn't the best but presentation is. If that what you care about then this place is for you!

We were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but it was less than that. Ordered 2 ribeye chilaquiles parillas per the recommendation of our server. It was more than enough for the 5 of us. Reminder I have linemen, and one basketball players all boys Can Eat! each parilla was 49.00 yes a little pricy but plenty for all my boys

Service was excellent! He was attentive, caring and friendly. We had the huevos rancheros and chilaquiles. Both were delicious. But we had a birthday to celebrate do we had the flight of mimosas. So many flavors to choose from. We had mango, watermelon, raspberry, and guava. All were delicious! Then we had the churros to celebrate! Fun and tasty ! We will be back!

Little hidden gem that we had to try! I loved all the catchy slogans around the restaurants. For food, I had the chilaquiles with steak and it was tasty! Service was a little slow but I understand it can be busy at times. Otherwise not too bad, if I go back I'll def try something else in their menu. Their cucumber juice was good!

Stopped by on Sunday, 03/16/25 during lunch time! My first time at this place with a very special person. I put my name down for a table of 2 and the wait time was around 40-45 minutes which seems like a very long time however time flew by quick! I didn't receive a text message regarding my table status after around 40 minutes so we decided to walk back and inquire about our reservation. Unfortunately their system was down. We weren't the only ones who were waiting. 2 ladies were also waiting and were seated in a 4-seating table. They overheard our concerns and were generous enough to split the table. We ordered the following: - 1 guayaba maragarita = $12 - 1 negtra modelo = $7 - 1 shrimp lollipops (5) = $20 - 1 breakfast burrito = $19 - 1 chilaquiles omlet = $18 ** paid by my very special person ** :') Overall I had a great time dining here. The music choice was super duper lit! This will forever be a special place for me and my person. :)

Great brunch spot! We've been here a few times with family, and it never disappoints. Prices are reasonable, especially given the large portions and great quality. They're known for their chilaquiles--red, green, or creamy chipotle. We've had the ribeye chilaquiles and breakfast molcajete--both excellent and perfect for sharing (easily feeds 2-4 people). The molcajete is ideal if you want a variety of proteins--steak, chicken, sausage, and bacon--plus eggs, beans, and potatoes. The ribeye chilaquiles are great if you just want steak. Drinks are also a highlight: cafe de olla, aguas frescas, michelada and mimosa flights, and a solid horchata cold brew. The only downside is the wait--arrive before 10am if you can. Otherwise, expect a 30-45 minute wait (longer during weekend brunch or with larger parties). Totally worth it, though! The service is fantastic--attentive and friendly. I wish more places had staff like Clandestino. Parking is shared with a market, and there's also street parking. Great place to relax with friends and family!

The chilaquila play was accompanied by country style potatoes which were very tender and delicious and the refried beans were oh my God. Very delicious. They had this hint of chili, probably Chipotle that just complimented the meal. They gave us some chimichurri with the ribeye chilaquiles and they served it in this Little dipping cup. The ones that you get at a hamburger place When you want ketchup with your fries. It's made of plastic not paper and they filled it to about a quarter of the way. And because it wasn't enough when we asked to waitress for more to enjoy our meal, it was a dollar for extra and then when they serve the extra I came about halfway full. They gave us two cups. Now I'm all for paying a little bit extra but this chimichurri did not taste fresh. If you guys are going to charge for something like this then you got to ensure that all the ingredients are fresh and that the flavor completely knocks your socks off. Trust me you guys can do better. Wife had the churro pancakes. Beautifully decorated. Very tasty. I personally am not much of a sweet person however you like churros. It's good to have a bite or scoop from anyone who's ordering this. My daughter had the pancakes. They were very good and fluffy very well made. They come with fruit in this case it was blueberries and strawberries which were fresh My son had a chicken burrito. He's very picky and it came with the side order of crisp fries. These fries were very delicious. They're nice size portions. My son left about a quarter of his burrito left since he was full. Sides: wife got a side of sausage with her pancakes came with about four links. Bigger than your normal store-bought size and cooked to perfection . My son's burrito came with these delicious crispy golden brown fries. You can hear the crisp in every bite. We had a side of refried beans that had a hint of Chipotle chili with them. They were topped with cheese. These things reminded me of my grandfather's Ranch in Mexico. You could literally eat these beans with homemade tortillas as is. A little Cafe de olla with them, And you're good to go. This can be a morning treat. Service: Our waitress was spot on. She asked questions about our experience with the restaurant and broke down the menu thoroughly and quickly, she asked if we were old kid with with certain little things like onion and sour cream and things like that to make sure that our meal was to our liking. Ambience: The ambience is pretty mellow. It was afternoon. They had the door open which was good and bad. You got a nice little Cool breeze but at the same time he also got some flies which was a big No-No . They have several TVs on the inside so you can watch a game and they also have outside seating with canopy style nets so you can eat alfresco without getting beaten down by the sun Overall: We primarily went there for the the ribeye steak Chilaquiles the meal did not disappoint. The portions were huge. Did pay a little bit more than expected But the portions were on point

Driving from LB we thought we would try this featured restaurant from an IG reel. Don't pay attention to the waitlist or reservations... we drove there on Sunday at 10:30, we were seated right away. I do have to say the staff was instantly taking your drink order and supplying you with your food! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Chilaquiles with two extra eggs and the steak was cooked medium rare perfection. We were excited to order the six margarita flight and found that it was nicely flavored, but seemed like it was more of a sugar concentrate added than an actual Juice. They do have outside seating with heaters. I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely like to try some other dishes on the menu. Thank you for great service and delicious food.

Came here with my fiancée and friends since we were in the area. The restaurant is quite small, so prepare yourselves for a long waitlist during the weekend brunch hours. We sat outside at the patio with our dogs and were immediately greeted by our server. He gave us ample time to decide on what we want to order and was super attentive. Drinks came in at decent time. The food took a bit of time due to the restaurant getting busier. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the burrito and it was super filling! One thing I thought would be nice was if the potatoes inside the burrito wasn't the same potatoes that I got as a side. I think what would have elevated the taste was to add hash browns or tots. Regardless, super tasty! Overall the experience and food were great. Just prepare for long waits before and after meal during the peak hours.

Right when you walk in, this restaurant has a very IG-esk vibe. You have a cute greenery wall with signs to take pictures with. The dining area is a little tighter than I would have expected when looking from the outside in. There is indoor and outdoor dining available, but we waited about 40 minutes on a Sunday afternoon and were lucky to get sat inside. Our server was great, and we started off with the shooters flight. We had the mexican candy, tamarindo, and mango chamoy. By far, the mango was my favorite. For our entre we shared a molcajete. It was definitely big enough for 2 to share. Came out piping hot and all the meat was tender. Overall, the service and food were good. Drinks were pricey but that's anywhere you go now. Would come back again.

The wait time was 20 minutes for two at around 9:30 A.M. Service at the beginning was a little slow because we had to wave a waiter for attention. Food was served in a decent time. Chilaquiles were dry but flavorful. We believe the music volume was too loud. You literally had a yelled to your partner. Thank you Miguel for your recommendations on our next visit. Last tip is if you can have your waiters smile. It will transcend a more welcoming experience.

Absolutely delicious! I usually assume that places with a large variety of tasty drinks won't have equally good food, but this place is an exception. The food was excellent! I ordered the chicken enchiladas, which came with both green and red sauce, along with rice and beans. The service was quick and friendly, but be prepared for about a 45 minute wait on weekends. Overall, I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal!

Stay away from this place....Owner is rude, stuff is rude, food ain't that good and is expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Food is awesome. In fact, for fear of being banned, I almost didn't write this review, but I was ripped off and I must warn you. I was here after work for happy hour with the little lady, and when I asked if well drinks were included I was told no. I should have stuck to the happy hour menu. Well, I went for it anyways... 2 Woodford and Diets later I was billed $44 for 2 Woodford and diets... Not IN Downtown LA, or Vegas, or Lincoln House (IYKYK)... in Azusa. LOL Not making that mistake again.

Great place for brunch!!! Breakfast rib eye chilaquiles and breakfast molcajete is a must try. Service is nice but place can be crowded and busy so wait time can be a drag.

I've been sleeping on this restaurant, but not anymore! I've always seen this when I search for brunch places but never looked further until this past weekend when my friends wanted to try it. Waitlist was closed early on a Saturday morning around 9:30 but luckily my friends lived closed by and got there a little before 10 and was seated immediately even without the whole party there! Kudos! First, parking lot is shared but people are always going in and out. Second, I loveee the vibe of the restaurant. When you walk in there are neon signs and high booth seatings and when you walk further in there is standard seating and patio. Service was attentive and had us in check frequently. Free chips and salsa to start. They were a hit and I kept going for one chip after another. Their margaritas were yummy with a nice balance of alchy and that tajin rim hit! That rim left no crumbs... or salt in this case lol. They also had cucumber lemonade which my friend ordered and it looked really refreshing! Their bar service was great! Moving on to food, we ordered their most known ribeye chilaquiles ($5 extra with added chipotle chilaquiles) which says serves 2, but easily feeds 3-4 along with appetizers. We got guac, the honey pork rib bites and French toast. All the items were good but wow the ribeye really was so juicy and tender. I didn't think they could nail it, but they did. Their rojo was on the spicier side so take extra caution if you do not handle spice. Overall, I would come here again for the vibes and food. People were coming in and out and they didn't rush diners as there was no time limit but the place had an ongoing waitlist, which shows it's a popular spot.

Definitely anticipate waiting for Sunday brunch but I went ahead before my friends and placed my name. The wait wasn't too bad, which was 20 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. After ordering, our food came out fast. Chilaquiles and Huevos rancheros did not disappoint. Thankfully they were able to do both red and green sauce for my chilaquiles. It was a great vibe inside the restaurant and love the outdoor sitting option.

Clandestino Gastro Bar was a pleasant surprise! I didn't realize that I've lived so close to an amazing brunch spot and I'm glad that I got to try this place with my partner :) Our server was very kind and she even gave us some recommendations for us to try. For our apprenticed, she mentioned that the pork belly bites were quite popular and we went ahead and ordered them. They were so delicious and the bites just melted in our mouth!! Also the mimosa flight was amazing! I'm glad that they have a variety of different flavors because some brunch spots usually have only a few options. It was fun to try strawberry and blood orange that was reccomend by our server. I got the Clandestino breakfast and my partner got the chorizo breakfast burrito. I literally devoured my food in an instant. Everything was delicious and even taking a bite from my partner's burrito was really good! He enjoyed his meal and it definitely fills you up! Definitely coming back!

They close at 9pm and we came at 7:30 and they asked if we were part of a party going on. They turned us down and said they were closed. Would have liked to know before hand. Smh.

Wow such amazing food and great service! My friend and I came on a weekday for brunch. We were immediately greeted by the host and seated since it wasn't too busy. We ordered the ribeye chilaquiles, which was a huge portion. The server recommended this dish to share and wow it didn't disappoint! 10/10! It came with crispy chips, eggs, well seasoned ribeye steak, and 4 sauces (green, red, orange, and chimichurri). The sauces tasted housemade too. Also came with a side of potatoes and beans. We also ordered the cucumber agua fresca and cucumber lemonade. It was so refreshing and perfect. It's a huge glass as well! The service was great, they're friendly and the server seems knowledgeable about the menu items! I will definitely be back :)

After seeing this place popped out on my IG feed a couple of times, I decided to grab breakfast with my boyfriend. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Smart and Final and it can be really busy but we were able to find parking on the streets. We got here before the rush hour on Saturday and was seated immediately. The menu had a variety of food that was offer but we were debating between the rib eye chilaquiles and breakfast molcajete to share. At the end, we picked the rib eye chilquiles and it was so bomb. For the chilaquiles, we got 3 sauces, the red sauce, green sauce and chipotle. The chipotle sauce was my favorite of out of the 3. The chimichurri sauce paired so well with the steak. I was so full afterward and that one entrée was enough to feed 2-3 people. Our waitress was really helpful and friendly, she helped us decide on what to order and she was really attentive. I will definitely be coming back to try the breakfast Molcajete.

Terrible service!! Servers looked annoyed and bothered with zero customer service skills. The food was just ok this round we had the molcajete and the meat was over cooked and the chilaquiles were dried out.

I stopped in after work on a weekday. It was slow and I was immediately seated. The margarita was good but the food was the star of the show. I wish there had been more people to know what the vibe is really like. I'll be back again someday to check it out when it's busier.
