The Happiest Place on Earth for Ice Cream Lovers! I've had a lot of ice cream in my life, but the hand-scooped magic at Clarabelle's in California Adventure tonight was on another level. I don't know what it is about Disney ice cream, but it just hits different—and hits hard. We had a couple of scoops, and it was a genuinely phenomenal experience. The quality of the ice cream itself is top-notch, rich, and creamy with flavors that are perfectly balanced. But what really made the evening was the cast members. They were so welcoming, helpful, and you could tell they genuinely love their jobs. Their positive energy is infectious and made the whole experience feel even more special. This isn't just an ice cream shop; it's a quintessential Disney experience. If you're at California Adventure and a craving for something sweet hits, do yourself a favor and stop by Clarabelle's. You won't regret it. Absolutely phenomenal!

Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is a great spot to satisfy a sweet tooth or cool off on a warm SoCal day. They offer classic ice cream in cones or cups, hand-dipped ice cream bars, floats, sundaes, and more! You can get your ice cream in the souvenir bowls for that extra Disney touch. Along with their daily menu, they offer seasonal and specialty treats. Adults can indulge in the Hard Ice Cream Floats with hard cider or dark beer. Taste 5/5 Value 3/5 Mobile ordering is available, and Magic Key pass holder discounts also apply. There's plenty of inside and patio seating to enjoy a treat, relax, and rest your feet. It's always a good experience here.

I just wanted a scoop of ice cream with hot fudge. This was the place to get that. The ghirdelli ice cream location has a lot of fancier sundaes but this was better for what I wanted and a much better price point. 2 scoops vanilla ice cream in a waffle bowl with hot fudge on a hot day.

For those with a diary/gluten allergy. They have a plant based ice cream, whip cream, and good chocolate. My wife was in heaven to enjoy such a treat. The staff were excellent and answered all her questions. I ordered an orange cream drink and it was pretty tasty! Overall a nice place to the right when you walk towards the round about in California adventure.

We ordered Mickey Mouse ear hat bowl with oswald sundae. Got mickey mouse souvenir bowl. We did not like the forzen banana. It was sweet. Rest the ice cream was great For drinks we ordered sandianada Hard float alcoholic beverage which was great and refreshing

Google
As a person with a gluten allergy, this place has been nothing but fantastic to me. When I told them about my allergy, they brought out the chef/manager and discussed the options they had. Had I not been celiac, the cones and sundaes (of which I think I would have been able to order?) smelled and looked heavenly. Overall, the service here is fantastic, even if the options themselves are a little limited. If we return to California Adventure, I’d be happy to walk in here again!

Google
Super friendly staff, as always. This is my first visit after wanting a frozen bana for years, and not knowing where to get one. Magic Journeys on YouTube put me on to this. The frozen Bananas are full sized ,large Bananas with a thick layer of chocolate (choice of milk or dark), and toppings of your choice. The Sandia hard watermelon drink was so refreshing, cold and delicious. Just the right amount of spicy, salty, sweet. I can't wait to come back for another one.

Google
Fast, friendly service. Now for the food... This review is exclusively aimed towards the Cookies & Candy Sundae ($8.49): First off, you can NOT change any items or delete any items (park policy, according to the female server I had). The mint ice cream was a bit too chunky; more chocolate than mint ice cream in my opinion. I would have preferred vanilla. I don't like sprinkles on my dessert. IMO, sprinkles take away from the flavors. The fudge in the middle was warm and does melt your ice cream a bit. The overall takeaway is that you can pretty much make this at home. It was fun to try it but if you feel like ice cream at the park then go to Ghiradelli's on Pacific Wharf (tip).

Yelp
Cute ice cream shop in DCA. They have hard floats!!! I ordered and they asked for my ID, I did not know there was alcohol in it LOL, I didn't read the hard float part (my fault) but it was delicious. I had the watermelon habanero hard float; consists of honest Abe, watermelon habanero cider with watermelon sorbet, fresh watermelon, Tamarindo sauce & chile lime seasoning. 9 out of 10, delicious! The second thing I got was the sorbet sandianada; it had fresh watermelon, watermelon sorbet, Tamarindo sauce and chile lime seasoning. OMG!!! This was so darn good, 10 Out of 10!!! All of the ingredients mixed well with each other and it was refreshing after a long hot day hopping between parks. My friend tasted my sorbet sandianada and raved of how great it tasted! He finished my dessert lol We also had the regular vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone, it was decent. 6 out of 10. Staff were friendly, the shop was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend trying their seasonal items. I can't wait for the next seasons specials!!!

Yelp
Whhhhhyyyyyyyy did I not know sooner that Clarabelle's has dairy free (vegan) ice cream options?! I don't see it being promoted on the normal menu and you won't know unless you ask or read about it somewhere. Wish it was listed on the menu. With that said I ordered a cherry coke float. Decision was hard as they have 3 vegan flavors (vanilla, chocolate and strawberry) so you can almost get anything off the menu with vegan options. But it was extra hard to pick as they currently have the Halloween options. Which one of them is dairy free as well (the watermelon sorbet sandianada). Next time I'm going for the watermelon option. Hopefully this helps other lactose intolerant or vegan people.

Yelp
We all scream for ice cream! Ice cream is a must at Disneyland parks. Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is where it's at. The location is prime. Right in the mix of things down main street/ Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. You can't miss it. I like how convenient it is. Right in the front, easy access. It's on the way out if you want to grab ice cream leaving the park or entering the park. Compared to other ice cream in DCA, this location is unbeatable. If you wanted to hit Adorable Frosted Snowman or Ghirardelli for ice cream- you are going for a long walk. And I'm pretty lazy. So, I prefer the ice cream that is closer lol The ice cream is good, pretty basic flavors and concept though. I've always had good service here. But that convenience factor is huge for me!

Yelp
Hands down the best ice cream in DCA! It is located right next to the starbucks pick up counter. The line does get long, but they are efficient at getting orders out fast. Karla helped up at the register and was so incredibly friendly and personable. She made our first experience very enjoyable and recommended alot of delicious options. The strawberry is a must! The cookies and cream is paccccked with oreos! The chocolate is decadent! Overall a very positive experience and I cant wait for my next scoop

Yelp
Having ice cream at Disneyland/DCA is one of my favorite things to do! And Clarabelle's got pretty good ice cream. A lot better than the soft serve at the Cone stand in Cars Land haha. I got a double scoop in a waffle cone with chocolate and mint chocolate chip. The flavors are all the basic ones (vanilla, strawberry, etc), and also offer sundaes n such. They also have waffle bowls and the option to have the cones/bowls dipped. I really wanted a dipped cone but it was so hot I didn't want to risk chocolate melting all over me. You can order ahead on the app or walk up in person. The available pick up time on the app was like an hour out so I decided to just walk up and order. It was actually really quick. Just took a few minutes in line and a few waiting for the order. They call your name when it's ready and if you aren't up there in a millisecond they will put your ice cream to the side lol. So be ready to sprint. Prices aren't bad at all for a theme park. There is a seating area outside but I loved having this sweet treat to enjoy on the way to Incredicoaster.

Yelp
You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream. This place has whatever flavor you want and you can have it in a Mickey Sink! Service is fast and the place is clean. Regardless of the weather, it's always time for ice cream! I'll be back for sure when visiting Disney California Adventure.
google avatar

Ben Y.

Yelp
Honestly, the ice cream here is much cheaper than i expected it to be. A two scoop sundae is like 7-8 bucks. That's like the price you pay at one of the boutique ice cream places outside of the park (like salt and straw). Having said that, the ice cream is just dreyers and it's not very good. I mean it's ice cream so there's a floor to how bad it can be but it's not like oh wow i really want to eat more
google avatar

Czarina D.

Yelp
Good ice cream! The ice cream is pretty good! Nothing too special and it is just as yummy as you'd expect. I've tried a bunch of different seasonal items and they are all pretty good! There are definitely a few dessert options that are so so sweet, but what else can you expect from an ice cream place?! They consistently have a variety of different sundae flavors and ice cream treats that rotate throughout the year and it is so much fun to see what new item they offer! Consistently, my favorite thing here is the hand-dipped ice cream bars. They are always delicious and I love that you can pick your own flavors. This time around I tried the PB&J Banana Split Sundae. I was slightly inebriated and was craving ice cream SO BAD. I ended up only eating the chocolate layer and it was delightful! I gave the vanilla and strawberry layers to other people. So I can't speak to the dessert as a whole, but I really did enjoy my chocolate ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter, and banana haha If you're in the mood for a sweet treat (particularly ice cream), Clarabelle's is the way to go!
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
I'm pleased to see DCA offering vegan and plant-based ice cream options! I ordered the banana split which includes a scoop of vanilla, scoop of strawberry, chocolate sauce, oat whipped cream, half a banana, chopped peanuts, and a cherry on top. At $10.99, pricing felt on par with what I'd expect at a vegan restaurant outside of the parks. Individual/double scoops of vanilla and strawberry ice cream are offered as well. The ice cream itself was very good and creamy, not icy like a sorbet as some non-dairy ice creams can be. The oat whipped cream was a little grainy but still good! Frozen fruit bars, frozen lemonade, and chocolate dipped frozen bananas are available for $5 at carts throughout both parks, but this is great if you're craving something creamier and richer! This is a perfect sweet treat. Hopefully they bring this offering to the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor in Disneyland too. Like many other Disney Parks locations, they offer mobile ordering, but I cannot speak to that as I ordered in person. You should stand nearby after ordering because the workers call out your name with no mics. It took about 10 minutes to receive my order though I'm sure the wait time would be longer if you went earlier in the day.

Yelp
Is it really a trip to the Disneyland Resort if you didn't get ice cream? I think not! This is one of my favorite locations as the service is quick and friendly. It is attached to the Starbucks, so you can also get your caffeine fix as well. There is plenty of seating, and a nice place to rest your feet after a long day in the parks.
google avatar

Tara S.

Yelp
Love this place! So many yummy seasonal options. Love that you can order through the Disneyland app. Very fast service most days. Lots of choices and reasonably priced. My favorite one is the Red, White, and Blue Sundae. So refreshing. It comes with scoops of Blueberry and Strawberry Sorbet. It is very noisy. It is located next to a shop and the Starbucks so it gets very congested. They share seating with the Starbucks. The Waffle cones are fresh and tasty. My only sadness comes from the fact that they no longer carry Butter Pecan.
google avatar

Kris P.

Yelp
Clarabelle's is that one place every human under the sun should experience. I ordered via Disney app. I know, you either hate it or love it. For me, it was easy, straightforward, and simple. By a mere press of "Scoop it, I'm here" someone from behind the counter called my name, and it was ready in under 5min. Wow, quick and friendly! No complaints this go-around :) Perfect for sharing, the Mickey Mouse Kitchen Sink Oswold Sundae comes with 3 generous scoops of ice cream of your choice, whipped cream, maraschino cherries, chocolate chips and chocolate drizzles. The bananas sliced in half dipped in chocolate are Oswold's ears :) You can also get this in Minnie Mouse Sink container as well! It is adjacent to the Starbucks and Disney confectionery on the other side. It will surely satisfy everyone's sugar cravings to boost until the nightfall fireworks finale. The last call is 830pm nightly. So... go run, don't walk! No spoon sharing allowed!!

Yelp
I went the other day for my birthday and Anahi at the front was super kind and helpful. She asked if I had a dairy allergy, (because of my request for vegan ice cream), In which I do (have a dairy allergy). Her and co workers accommodated to me and were super kind about it all. the ice cream was also great!! thanks so much!!

Yelp
Clarabelle's is the perfect spot to stop at on a warm day for some nice, refreshing ice cream! Be warned. It is very overpriced, like everything else at Disney. I paid $5.79 for a single scoop of ice cream in a cup. No toppings, no cone - just a basic scoop of ice cream. If I remember correctly I think they sell Dryers ice cream brand so it's not anything you can't get at a regular super market - just Disney prices. Unfortunately I'm giving them 3 stars for price and the fact that they were out of the ice cream my bf wanted and also what my sister tried ordering. How could they be out? Unless they planned on getting a shipment the next morning - I'd expect Disney to be stocked up. I don't know if it was because we stopped by later in the evening but I'd assume that they would have all flavors available to customers. I think next time I might go to the Ghirardelli ice cream location.
google avatar

Joann V.

Yelp
3 stars The ice cream is great. The service is great. But the scoop-to-price ratio is bad. I know it's Disney prices, but still...$5+ for 1 scoop of ice cream is anything, but magical.

Yelp
I went here on a weekday afternoon and was excited to try the ice cream! After looking at the menu, I decided to go with a Hand-Dipped Ice Cream Bar ($5.69). I got Vanilla Bean ice cream with a dark chocolate shell and Mickey's Confetti as my topping. I was excited to see that dark chocolate was an option for the shell since dark chocolate is my favorite and places usually only offer milk chocolate! When we arrived, there was only one person in front of us in line, so we figured the wait wouldn't be too long after ordering! We were wrong. It took forever... Others in our group went to Starbucks which had a longer line, and got through the line, ordered, received their drinks, found a table, and drank most of their drinks before we received our ice cream bar. The wait time is my reason for docking one star. The ice cream bar itself was really good! The dark chocolate went so well with the vanilla bean ice cream. As expected, it was a bit hard to eat but I was able to dip the bar into the Mickey's Confetti sprinkles. Thankfully we were able to snag a table to sit down and eat the ice cream bar at. It was great quality and I would definitely recommend coming here if you want some delicious ice cream. The sundaes looked really beautiful and I would want to try those in the future as well.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Very good ice cream! We have always had a pleasant experience. The line can be long but it does tend to move pretty quickly. We usually order a cup with 2 scoops since it isn't that much more to add on that second scoop. One time we did try the dipped waffle cone with sprinkles, but I have to say, it was disappointing. It was just a sugar overload and took away from the good flavors of the ice cream. I recommend getting either a cup or a regular waffle cone. So far all the flavors we had were delicious. My favorite is the cookie dough but the mint chip is also very good. The strawberry is great and has pieces of strawberry mixed in! We have attempted to mobile order many times but it never worked out. Either the mobile order function was not available or the return time was for hours in advance. Just wait in the line. It's worth the wait!
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
Located at Disney's California Adventure theme park on the right side in the front once you past Buena vista street, connected to Fiddlers, Fifer, and Practical cafe aka Starbucks. Clarabelles has an okay selection of ice creams and souvenirs. Fast service and kind people.
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
Today we're trying the Banana split sundae. Lots of people talking about it, so here I am. So excited to share it and do a happy dance. It was big enough for 2 people and just right.
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
This review is solely for the mickey gingerbread cookie (the full body version!) Instead of waiting in the crazy Starbucks line next door, I walked right up to the counter of Clarabelle's and ordered two of these cookies. The downside and weird thing is that Clarabelle's does not accept the Magic Key discount yet Starbucks right next door does. Huh?? But the cookie is still worth the full price tag. So chewy and dense yet soft and moist, a sharp flavor of spice with the slightest touch of sweetness from the icing, they load up on the molasses and brown sugar and it's so good!
google avatar

Allie L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicous!!! I did a mobile order so I can't speak much on service, but I am sure it is great. There is plenty of spots to sit and its not to loud with nice music playing in the background. I tryed the Vanilla, Mango Sorbet, Chocolate, and Cookies and Creme and they were all so good. The waffle cone even had little mickey heads on them which was adorable.
google avatar

Cristina B.

Yelp
Came here to try the Hard Apple Float that's been trending. The "caramel apple" is green apple sorbet drizzled with caramel on top. The drink is pretty good, but kind of sweet. Easily shareable with a friend if you're curious about the flavor, but don't want to drink the whole thing by yourself!
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
The mobile order is pretty quick about scooping the ice cream and getting it to the customer. Sometimes as a person with allergies, it can take a long time but they made it a relatively quick process. I got a chocolate dipped waffle cone with strawberry ice cream and it tasted so good on a hot July day. It's only Dryer's so it's not artisan ice cream, but it sure feels worth it in the summer to eat your expensive ice cream inside a Disney park after it was shut for over a year.
google avatar

Yelp
This ice cream shop conveniently located near the entrance of Disneyland. This is the perfect place to stop by and grab a sweet treat before or after a day of fun at the park. It's also a great place to take a break and cool off in the shade. The location is easy to find, and it's just a short walk from the entrance, making it a very convenient stop for anyone looking for a quick and delicious ice cream fix. One of the things I love about Clarabelle's is that there's plenty of seating available, both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor seating area is located next to Starbucks and provides a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your ice cream. The indoor seating area is a great spot to cool off on a hot day or like myself, keeping out of the rain. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they keep the area clean and tidy. Just keep in mind that they are on top of cleanliness, but if it's something they missed, be sure to bring something to their attention. I had the seasonal Snickers ice cream sundae, which was decent. The two things that put me off about this ice cream is that it did not really taste like snickers and the fudge they poured on top of the ice cream was like a brick wall that was really hard to impenetrable. But what really blew me away was the michelada. It was very good! I appreciated that Clarabelle's Hand Scooped Ice Cream offered unique flavors and drinks that you couldn't find just anywhere. Overall, my experience at Clarabelle's Hand Scooped Ice Cream was overall good, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the park. The location, atmosphere, and menu items all exceeded my expectations.

Yelp
Set up to the counter and put your order together! I got their equivalent of DQ's dilly bar; you step up and give them the following: 1. Type of ice cream 2. Milk or dark chocolate coating 3. Sprinkles, chocolate chips, etc. Then enjoy! Super sweet--this would have been better had I shared it with the hubs, since it's hella rich! Or even better, this would have been better w a cup of coffee to cut the sweetness!

Yelp
The biggest unanswered question is why Dryer's Ice Cream tastes so much better at Disney than at home? At Clarabelle's, perhaps it's because you can enjoy it at Disney California Adventure Park (DCA)? Or maybe because you could have it served in a cute Mickey or Minnie sink? Perhaps, it's because you could make it into an ice cream bar with your choice of toppings? Whatever the reason, Clarabelle's Hand-Scopped Ice Cream doesn't shy away of adding the Disney magic to a generous helping of ice cream while visiting DCA. Clarabelle's is located near the front of DCA, attached to the Starbucks. They have a large seating area that services both the Starbucks and Clarabelle's customers. I don't think I have ever visited Clarabelle's and not waited in line. However, the cast members do a good job of keeping the line moving and making sure wait times for orders are reasonable. Clarabelle's now offers Mobile Order through the Disneyland App, so you can use this as a way to efficiently take an ice cream break without wasting loads of time away from the park. I have tried multiple things here from regular scoops, to ice cream in their fresh waffle cones and bowls, and even their kitchen sink sundaes. They remain consistent with fresh ice cream that doesn't taste like freezer burn! My classic favorites are the cookie dough and cookies and cream. Perfect for a cool down during a warm Southern California day. Scoops are always a good size, and pricing isn't too crazy. Presentation is also usually on point and can be IG/social media worthy! Annual Passholder discounts do not apply at Clarabelle's as of this review. Pro-tip: As with many of my Disneyland Resort reviews, be sure to keep an eye out for seasonal specialities. These are usually indicated with signage near the registers.

Yelp
I'm a fan of most things here. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the chocolate dipped ice cream bar. The Chocolate is way too thick so when you take a bite, entire panels come off the ice cream bar. FOOD Almost everything is good here. SERVICE Always friendly. Stand in line, order at the register, wait and pick up at the other counter.

Yelp
I scoped this place out before our trip, so I was determined to go there at some point. Literally every time we were in California Adventure & pass it, I would point it out to my boyfriend to remind him that we need to go there. Finally, on our 2nd to the last night. we stopped in to find just 1 family ahead of us. Yes, perfect! I went with the vanilla bean ice cream with milk chocolate coating & sprinkles & the boyfriend got the same but without the coating. Yes, you can skip the coating & still stuff sprinkled on it. Didn't wait long as ours was ready before the family that was in front of us that got ice cream. The coating stayed chewy for a while so I got some chocolate with every bite. Towards the end though it did start flaking off making quite a bit of a mess on the ground. It was really yummy & something different as compared to the usual ice cream in a cup or cone. I do wish though that they had the Mickey sprinkles, but I guess because its the holiday season we got this type. Will have to try a different one next time.

Yelp
Clarabelle's has a couple of locations but this listing is for the California Adventure spot right on the main drag on Buena Vista Street. Staff is quick, helpful and courteous whenever I'm in the ice cream shop. Clarabelle's is the cutest little name for an ice cream shop because Clarabelle Cow is indeed a cow! Cows, Milk, Ice Cream...all makes sense! She's one of the OGs of Disney being a best friend of Minnie Mouse created in 1928 and usually partnered up with Horace Horsecollar. They have some unique creations you here you can't get at other spots! For example, it's currently the Get Your Ears On - A Mickey and Minnie Celebration at Disneyland! They have special treats all over Disneyland celebrating the happy mice and here at Clarabelle's is no exception! They have adorable six dollar Hand-dipped Mickey and Minnie Ice Cream Bars with sprinkles! I was doing my Disney Bounding thing dressed as Minnie so you know I had to get the namesake ice cream bar. It was delicious, didn't disappoint at all! Pro-Tip: They accept mobile orders! aka there's no need to wait in line here however i actually haven't ever had a line here. Sad Pro-Tip: No Annual Pass Discount!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and just as Disney does, always fantastic service! My daughter was super excited to try their rocky road flavor!
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
The ice cream here is super good, they offer a lot of different flavors. Such as vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, mint and much more. I ordered the chocolate chip cookie hot fudge sundae with vanilla, cookies and cream, and chocolate chip cookie dough as the three ice cream scoops. It was topped with whipped cream, cherries and two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. It came in a souvenir Mickey or Minnie cup, which was adorable. I paid less than $7 for it and honestly you can't beat the price for the amount of ice cream you get.

Yelp
Date of visit: November 18, 2018 Much like Disneyland had the exclusive one day only Mickey birthday sippers, both the park and DCA had food specials to commemorate the main mouse's 90th birthday. One of these was the Birthday Sundae which was served in either Mickey or Minnie-styled kitchen sink buckets - but when we arrived at Clarabelle's, not only were they out of the birthday cake-flavored ice cream used for the sundae, they were also out of Minnie kitchen sink buckets (which normally aren't around at the parks)! Grr... Since we didn't want to let the time we spent in line go to waste, my girlfriend and I split one of their holiday offerings: the Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sundae. Made up of a scoop of peppermint ice cream atop a scoop of chocolate with two fudge-covered Oreo "Mickey ears" and a dollop of whipped cream served inside a chocolate and crushed-candy cane dipped waffle bowl, this dessert is definitely one to share! However... while the ice cream and cookies were delicious, the waffle bowl itself needed a bit more flavor. You would think a waffle bowl dipped in chocolate and covered with crushed candy cane bits would taste sweet, but I was pretty much over it after a few bites and let Kathy finish off the rest. Still, there's still some delicious desserts on the menu at Clarabelle's, so if you want a cold, creamy treat inside DCA, here's the place!

Yelp
I can justify getting ice cream here if you get a kitchen sink sundae and split it amongst 3-4 people. It makes the ~$14 worth it. We got the Oswald Kitchen Sink and you can choose either the Mickey or Minnie shorts design for the sink and take it as a souvenir with you after you've finished. The Oswald came with chocolate covered bananas, chocolate ice cream, and vanilla ice cream. It's a nice light ice cream snack. The sink isn't as deep as it seems, but its' enough just to try. The frozen banana was still very frozen and hard even after 15 minutes later, so be wary so you don't hurt your teeth. If you're not a fast eater, get a cup to your cone so that you can avoid messes. Lots of seating inside when we went.

Yelp
This was honestly such good ice cream!! I got the hand dipped ice cream bar And my bf got the single scoop waffle cone I know it's just ice cream but it had such different texture to it I thought the chocolate covered was going to be hard but it wasn't it was thick but felt soft when biting into and the cone was also very tasty! It's a big place and had lots of other icecream choices Definitely a must have! Especially if you have kids they will love the crazy looking icecream they have here

Yelp
Clarabelle's is definitely one of my favorite ice cream places in both of the parks! Rather than always buying ice cream from the cart, it's better to get higher quality ice cream here with about the same price. Ice cream at Disneyland/California Adventure Park is always a necessity when you're here especially on a hot day! It's located in California Adventure Park by the Starbucks along Buena Vista Street. You can choose from sundaes, hand dipped ice cream bar, cones/cups, and they also have seasonal fruits (mangonada). I went for the hand dipped bar in which you can choose from vanilla, milk chocolate, or berry sorbet flavored bar. You can also choose a milk chocolate or dark chocolate dipped flavor. To top it off, there are lots of toppings such as chocolate chip, mickey funfetti, pop rock candy, pearls, and sprinkles. I got the vanilla flavor with milk chocolate coating and chocolate chips and funfetti toppings. When I got my order (they take longer for the bars), I noticed my bar was already melting. I ordered 2 toppings but the chocolate chips were the only one that really stuck to it so my plate was full of mickey funfetti that never stuck to my bar. Disappointing....but still delicious. Definitely will try this place again. I think it's worth it to come here rather than buy an ice cream bar from the cart! They have cute and unique ways have serving their ice cream here.

Yelp
Mmmmmm, ICE CREAM! My first experience here was the "Kitchen Sink" Souvenir Sundae. I honestly dont remember what kind of ice cream I got - you can pick whatever you want... but it was delicious. And, you get to take home a Mickeys pants souvenir sink. Its awesome. I suggest going into the restroom to rinse out your souvenir though, it is incredibly messy. There was a ton of hot fudge on the bottom of mine and it took quite a while to clean out, but I dont really know how else you can clean it. Maybe they will give you the sundae in a bowl and a clean souvenir sink... never thought to ask that until now, haha! If they will do it, I suggest it - even though it is less fun that way. I also had their Halloween themed ice cream treats this year, and those were pretty good. The Mangonada is interesting. I think I loved it, haha! I wasnt sure about the frozen mango, but the rest was pretty good. Sweet, and sour and just a whole lot going on, but yeah... I would get it again! Service is a little slow, but they are always busy. The AC in here feels amazing, it shares a seating area with Starbucks, so its also always a little challenging to find seating.

Yelp
Stopped by for their holiday special sundae that entailed a combination of peppermint and chocolate ice creams topped with whipped cream in a waffle bowl that was dipped in chocolate and crushed candy cane. The sundae was a gargantuan and a sight to behold! That said, the ice cream was just sugary, store-bought fare that was laden with ice crystals too as if there was freezer burn. The other offerings may be good, but this sundae was an unfortunate letdown.

Yelp
Over the years the prices have increased while the quality (and portions) have decreased, but I still love Clarabelle's. This is one of the only places in all of Disneyland where you can get hand scooped no sugar added ice cream. They only have one flavor, butter pecan, but it's super delicious and you can feel less guilty about indulging. A two scoop cup will set you back $5. Sundaes are a bit more. They used to make delicious, fresh waffle cones and waffle cups here but the one we had yesterday was awful. It tasted like it had been premade in a factory and wasn't worth eating. I'd skip the waffle cone/cup and the added expense because it's no longer worth it. The ice cream parlor shares a space with a very popular Starbucks, so seats can be nonexistent on busy days. There is a large indoor dining area which is great on a hot afternoon (since most places at Disneyland aren't enclosed and have no a/c). I like hopping parks to come here instead of getting ice cream at the Main Street parlor in the Magic Kingdom because I find Clarabelle's in California Adventure to be much less crowded. Lines can be long but move fast, but it takes FOREVER for the employees to actually fix your ice cream. We ordered in less than 5 minutes but waited nearly 20 (!!) minutes to finally get our order. Very slow service. They do not offer any discounts for annual passholders either. Dang it!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I simply adored Clarabelle's Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. If you're searching for that IG-worth snapshot of a perfect scoop of ice cream, you've found it. They've got Dreyer's ice cream here. My boyfriend and I got their vanilla milk chocolate ice cream bar dipped in blueberry burst crumbles. Their blueberry bursts were actually rock candies that fizzled in your mouth. It was absolutely excellent with our ice cream bar. They also have super cute Mickey pants and Minnie skirt bowls that you can scoop ice cream and banana floats into. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in California Adventures.

Yelp
What's not to love about Clarabelle's? They have ice cream, sprinkles of all kinds, customizable dipped cones, fun waffle bowls, specialty sundaes, and seasonally decorated treats; it is absolute perfection for those with a huge sweet tooth like yours truly. Plus, they have a large indoor seating area making this the perfect spot to sit and take a break, as we all know the parks can get overwhelming at times (especially for the little ones). If you're in a rush, you can also take advantage of their mobile ordering. Simply open your Disneyland park app, click Order Food, select what time you want it ready by, choose your items, pay, and done! You don't even have to wait in line once you get there, simply walk to the designated Mobile Pickup area. We were not in a rush however, so I waited in line for about ten minutes to try one of their famous dipped ice cream bars. You see these all over Instagram, and I love all the different combinations people can create. You make your own by following these three easy steps: 1) Select vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, or berry sorbet (vegan friendly). 2) Select milk chocolate coating or dark chocolate coating (vegan friendly). 3) Dress it up! You can add sprinkles (sometimes they will be fun seasonal colors and shapes), Mickey confetti, pop rocks, chocolate chips, candy pearls, or go crazy and get them all which they call The Whole Herd. Because I am super exciting, I got vanilla dipped in milk chocolate then sprinkled in Mickey confetti. The chocolate coating they use is out of this world, and the taste is more gourmet than you'd expect for a park ice cream bar. It's definitely rich though, so I suggest sharing with a friend (or not, it's your vacation!).

Yelp
Just what I need on a hot day like today!! Husband got a dipped Waffle cone with 2 scoops of mint chip... I don't know the exact brand, but it tastes similar to Dreyers quality. We also got 2 hand dipped ice creams. I like it because you can choose the ice cream, type of chocolate to get it dipped in (milk, dark, or both), and the kind of toppings.. We got one vanilla ice cream + milk chocolate + chocolate chips- super, super sweet.. the chocolate leaves a thick coat. Also got vanilla, milk chocolate dipped, with "raspberry" which is popRocks. This wouldn't have been my first pick, but the kid got it, and it was actually a pretty good combo of flavors! Fortunately, we got here before the lines got too crazy.. but I can imagine the lines filling up! Prices are as you would expect for Disney... $5.69 for hand dipped ice cream.. We paid about $18+ for 2 hand dipped and a double scoop in a cone.

Yelp
Came here for the Minnie and Mickey buckets. I mean the ice cream it's nothing special for $13.49 but the buckets are soooo cute that it makes it worth. Hahaha Came her for my daughters 2nd Bday! Wasn't too crowded. (Friday 08/30/19) Comes with a triple scoop and toppings which I was able to make my own. Got mint chip. Strawberry. And cookies n cream Also ordered the Mangonada $7.99 and the Sandianada which is 2 scoops of watermelon sorbet and fresh watermelon $7.99 I believe this is a limited seasonal item. It was pretty good and refreshing. I wanted to try the Beer Floats but we ordered too much stuff already. Next time! For sure I will be back!

Yelp
This was terrible. Look at the two scoops. We double checked our receipt and asked right when we got it. They so no the ice cream is in the cone. That is what their two scoops looks like. I said what is the different? The one scoop looks the same as this two scoop. They said the two scoops was twice as much. Hmmmm. According to who. Not every going here a ago. Especially because we asked and they assured me it was two scoops. I said the second scoop looks like a table spoon. They said the ice cream was in the cone. They did nothing to adjust it.

Yelp
During our family trip to Disneyland, I felt as though Clarabelle's was actually one of the few spots that offered a good deal on treats! The ice cream scoops are gigantic and way better than what you'd get at a Baskin & Robbins 31 Flavors. There were fifteen of us roaming the parks together and paired with a hot day, an ice cream break was just what we needed to motivate the troops! There was barely a wait that afternoon, and everyone got to choose their favorite flavors which ranged anywhere from chocolate to strawberry to mint chocolate chip, as well as a bowl or cone of choice. I'm a big fan of the freshly made waffle cones which when filled with ice cream, will make anyone feel like a kid again!

Yelp
Ok I really never go here when in DCA most of the time due to it being so crowded and the long lines and wait. This is shared with the Starbucks so seating is tough especially on busy days which is almost every day. The main reason was to get the poison apple stein cup from here you can get your ice cream in it or on the side I definitely recommend to get it on the side. This is one place that doesn't give you a discount with an annual pass even the top one what the heck I think that is another reason why I don't go here. I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream it was good overall if not busy and I'm by here I will get some ice cream cause I can never say no to ice cream lol.

Yelp
Unlimited toppings for build your own ice creams. Unfortunately no vegan options. Mixed berry or watermelon sorbet are made with eggwhites.

Yelp
I had to try the ice cream before getting it, it wasn't good. Tasted way too artificial and sweet. My husband ordered a dipped ice cream. Chocolate tasted weird as well as the ice cream part of it. Really wish they would serve some good old fashioned made ice cream but they serve Dryer's which may explain the awful taste. Save your money and tummy!
