Clara's Wine & Bistro

I might return to try the wines but overall the food was fairly average especially given the price point and the overall experience. The service was also slow, particularly at the start as we were left waiting for menus and water, it took a while to place our order, and the staff were generally quite inattentive. Between the two of us, we shared the sourdough and butter (good), ham croquettes (really tasty), burrata with mortadella and pesto (fine), gnocchi with pancetta and kale (too salty), pork sausages with lentils (a simple dish that wasn’t executed well) and the Jerusalem artichoke with beans (the flavour and texture didn’t appeal to me at all).

Very cute spot in Shoreditch with great atmosphere and nice selection of dishes and wine. Perfect for a date or a night catch up with your girls. Portion sizes is small so I would recommend more than 2 plates per person, the croquettes were very good but you pay 9£ for 2 small croquettes which is outrageous, but ok! The service is basic. Wine was always brought to the table after the dishes arrived. The table was always full with empty plates when the next dish arrived. Overall is a nice spot, but great room for improvement!

Amazing new spot! We were there last night for dinner, and cannot recommend it enough. Every dish was absolutely delicious, definitely don’t miss the Roscoff onions, ox heart and the chocolate torte (omg divine!!!!). Huge selection of wines. Food came out really quickly and staff were super lovely and knowledgeable.

What a spot. Went for dinner. The concept, vibe, food, service - they smashed it in every area. We were downing their amazing white skin-on wine, every dish we had was delicious, the service was amazing. The Gildas are 🤌✨️, the grilled ox heart was cooked in a way I hadnt had it before and it was INCREDIBLE, the oysters were fresh, the pumpkin, cavalo nero & feta pie was insanely good (and im not one to care much for vegetarian dishes). PLEASE do not even dare leave without trying the Chocolate Torte for dessert if it's on the menu. Will remember it forever. Glad this place opened up.

impeccable experience. Food absolutely bangs with a brilliant reasonably priced wine list, gorgeous atmosphere, generous portion sizes. What a wonderful addition to this corner of Shoreditch.

Delicious food, excellent restaurant. Thoughtfully and carefully curated menu. Top quality ingredients and great pairings. The charcuterie board and the lamb were highlights. The waiting staff and owner were incredibly friendly and genuinely care about the restaurant; they welcomed our feedback. A lovely plus to be able to shop the deli items after the meal as well.

This place is a little gem- what a great find! We had some incredible dishes, all served by the friendliest and most helpful staff. Everything is cooked with care and thought- and the lamb shoulder with roasted carrots was honestly one of the best things we’ve eaten for ages! Love that the menu changes every so often- another incentive to return. We were so impressed that we’ve booked Sunday lunch here already, and can’t wait!

A unique restaurant with an impressive wine bar setting. Nothing pretentious and it had great food, service, an atmosphere. The food and wine was very affordable, but don’t expect massive portion. Clara’s strives for quality and it delivers. Above all they made my birthday feel very special and who doesn’t love that!
