The Summer Lookbook: Seafood Tower, But Make It Fashion | Eater

"A label offering quirky, streetwise pieces such as a t-shirt printed with a street-art–style sardine that declares 'Liberez les Sardines' (or 'free the sardines'), combining playful food imagery with graphic, slogan-driven design for an irreverent, fashion-forward audience." - Bettina Makalintal

I had such a wonderful time at Clare V in Nolita with my fiance. Toya, the store manager, was so helpful and warm and engaging, and she is extremely good at her job! (Seriously, please give her a raise.) I walked away with a beautiful new bag + strap and a truly lovely shopping experience. Thank you Toya!!! <3

Horrible experience in the soho store. Apparently to enter you need to ring the bell but the staff refuses to acknowledge and open the door. Service was bad and clearly they did not want to serve me. I would say borderline racist. Never visiting again

My first visited in NY over 10years ago. I was fall in love this store/products and customer service. But, I was disappointed with the customer service at Clare V now. While I love the brand, the store associate lacked friendliness and didn’t exchange greetings, making the experience less pleasant. It seems more training in customer service skills is needed.

Can only comment on staff/ service. I had bought my girlfriend a Claire V necklace online, but came in to see if they could give me a small box to make for nicer presentation of the gift. Not only did Kelsey happily do that she also gave me nice paper, ribbon etc that I used to wrap. Previous reviews had me nervous, esp since I wasn’t buying anything thy day, but she was great.

The low stars are for the location not the product. I love Clare V. as a brand. Like the other low reviews for this location the staff isn’t terribly friendly. There’s now a buzzer you need to push to get in that either doesn’t work or the associates don’t seem to know how to use. I’ve been twice and not been able to get into the store and completely ignored by the associates standing at the counter.

I'm visiting NYC from Minneapolis and I always make a point to stop by, as Clare V is from Minnesota and I am a long-time fan and customer. After about 20 minutes of looking, I was ready to buy two bags, some accessories, and a sweatshirt. I hadn't been acknowledged or greeted by either of the two people working, and when I asked a question was brushed off and then given a cold reply. I was really disappointed and was kind of made to feel like a nobody. This is such a bummer not only because I was going to drop big dollars there, but knowing that the designer has roots in the midwest, I would have expected a much friendlier and welcoming experience.

Excellent products. I was impressed by the quality of the goods. The product's are branded like Michael Kors and the like, so they make a great gift for those ladies that have expensive tastes but don't want to let everybody know about it. The woman helping me (either the manager or owner) wasn't very warm and while she was helpful and excited to sell and wrap the bag for me, it was hard to connect. This only slightly took away from my experience in the store, thus 4 stars.

I just had the most wonderful Clare V. experience that I feel compelled to share... An idea popped into my head at the last minute to get my sister a monogrammed tote for her bday but I needed it ASAP. Masha in the Nolita store came to the rescue and hand painted my sister’s initials and had it delivered free of charge the very next day. The whole process on my end took 5 minutes and my sister can’t stop smiling Bc she loves her gift so much. It turned out beautiful. Highly highly recommend!
