The only good thing about the room was the bed. Other than that, it was not a very clean room. There are definitely some repairs needed. The bottoms of my feet got dirty from walking barefoot in the room. The bathroom wasn't so great.....not only did it need to have the painting job finished on a couple of walls, there is mold in the shower! And the areas caulked in and around the shower stall are yellow from hard water as is the floor of the shower. Loved having a shower without a tub! A grab bar would have been even better for me because I'm elderly and my balance isn't so good. The view of the river was awesome but the window was dirty on the outside with bird poop. Kind of distracted from the river view. Also, the little coffee maker didn't work and you don't have decaf coffee at the free breakfast. The price was great but I expected more from the Choice Hotels group

THE LOCATION WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT BUT THEY NEED TO CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!! I arrived the night of 10/15 for a work trip. When I arrived i hard a hard time understanding the front desk employee to start off with. I was directed to park in certain area that took me to the opposite side of my room location. Once I figured it out I open the door to disgusting beat up room. The floor was sticky as hell and still is even after going to ask for someone to come and clean it why I was out for work. I believe the mattress was made in the 90’s so uncomfortable and hard. The furniture is nothing like the pictures shows they fitness center is also a dump and sits inside a room right off the swimming pool area, so you can’t enter it before 7 am or after 10 pm. I will be reaching out to booking.com I want my money back or at least a portion of it. I will be sure to never book through booking.com or stay at another clarion facility.

I gave the 2 stars because the woman at the front desk was awesom. The room was not good. room 254-the toilet did not go down and shower drain cover needed to be screwed-a face plate needed to be on the electrical outlet- the smoke detector needed a new battery-no soap in the shower or shampoo in the bottle. The balony needed a center support otherwise a little bit a leaning and it would have broken. The hot tub needed to be fixed. There was a cigarette smell on the first floor by the stairs. No signs to say which way was the ice machine. Breakfast was ok. eggs sausage and waffles. I expected juice not koolaid.

Google
Our stay at Clarion was great! The staff and service were great, and the facilities were good for the price point. The kids loved the pool, and the free breakfast. It's great to see this older place is being rejuvenated by Chris and his team to make it new again.

I changed rooms twice during my one night stay. The hallways were dirty and un vacuumed. The rooms were no better. The first room still had the previous tenants soap in the shower, and hair stuck to the shower walls. The final straw was the pubic hair found on the floor at the bed side. The second room has mold and mildew in the caulking of the shower. The toilet caulking was yellowed and cracked, and my shoes stuck to the floor infront of the toilet only. The smoke detector in the room was so yellowed and sun damaged that I honestly wondered if it was functional. Upon turning down the bed to sleep I was met by a mass of black strands of hair folded into the sheets. I stayed there that night only because it was already 9pm at that point. I promptly checked out, shortening my stay, at 5:30 the following morning and proceeded to check into another hotel later that morning. Hotel front desk attendants we're apologetic and courteous, both at check in and out.

The room we had was in an old wing. The bathroom sink was badly cracked and the tub and tubsurround was in need of repair. The room and bedding appeared to be clean. Cost was just under $80USD. Free breakfast was ok. Eggs and sausage, toast, waffles (timer wasn't working), cereal, (my husband didn't like the coffee). We didn't use the pool/hot tub. The desk clerk wasn't sure if the hot tub was open or under repair.

When we got to our room the bed wasn't made. They changed our room from King to 2 queens neither bed was made. They finally found us another room. The bed was made. It wasn't the cleanest room we have stayed in. The toilet didn't flush well and there was no fan in the bathroom. The hot tub didn't work. On Sunday we went to Church and came back to change at 10:15 a.m. and we were locked out of our room even though checkout is at 11. We had to get more towels for our room when we got there too because it wasn't stocked. No Fridge and microwave was in the room. The shower needed a good cleaning.

Google
The room was a bit dated, but it was quiet and we enjoyed the river view. The next morning we went to the lobby to have breakfast at about 7:45 am, and there was nothing but a bowl of hard boiled eggs and coffee. There was a large bus group in the lobby and there was basically nothing left to eat. No waffle batter, no cooked scrambled eggs, basically nothing for breakfast. This was very disappointing since we had planned on an early breakfast before we hit the road again.

Yelp
I chose this place because they were less money than surrounding Hotels. My mistake. I wish I had paid a little more to stay somewhere decent. Room is dirty, floors, shower, hallways, dirty. The bed was okay. Old and run down. If you need WiFi don't come here. It doesn't exist. If you want to watch TV your choices are extremely limited. I hope you like CNN (I don't) because that's the only "news" station. There are about 12 stations to watch. The chair in the room is strictly for looks because it's so uncomfortable you can't sit in it. The breakfast is really bad. Dried up powdered eggs and warmed up link sausage. Choice of whole wheat or white bread. Packages of oatmeal. Waffle maker that is so old doesn't have a timer and waffles stick to it so bad it's not really usable. Coffee is bad. The guy who worked the kitchen obviously could care less, just stood there and watched people struggle with the ancient waffle maker. I stayed 5 nights because I had work in the area. I had to go to the desk daily to get a room key because it never worked upon my return from work. The guy at the desk told me the key can't be near anything magnetic or even metal. I kept it in the sleeve away from anything and still didn't work. I won't be staying here again. That's for certain. I would recommend spending another $20 a night for a decent hotel.

Yelp
This place is so disgusting! The web site photos would never lead you to believe it's really this bad. Black mold in the shower, floors are filthy. So many broken things in the room. There was standing water in the ice machine room. Hope no one slips. The place reeks of chlorine and bad curry. I would have left and gotten another place but we arrived late and had a funeral in the morning.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
You get what you pay for. Very basic room. Our bed was sitting on a board. 2 tour busses came in and that group woke us up yelling in the hallway. Someone even tried to open our door. We didn't dare eating their breakfast because the tour bus people took it over.

Yelp
Cleaning the bathroom, floors and furnishings would be a great improvement. The locking mechanism on the doors weren't working properly. This hotel does not believe in free speech or Fox News. After three remotes and introductions on the use of the their TV systems Fox News was blocked for viewing in this establishment. In the unsettled political times we are living in this hotel demonstrats the lack of "fair and balanced news". I feel for the staff. They did the best they could to accommodate us in this uncomfortable situation. I wish them the best. If this is a headquarter downfall "Shame on Them".
google avatar

Yelp
Don't do it. There are many other hotels right here... this place has tried a remodel - it didn't work. Save yourself... just say no.

C N.

Yelp
So Filthy. Please don't stay here. I left early and they didn't refund my pre paid days. MOLDY SHOWER CURTAINS. NO SHAMPOO and no help from staff. This hotel should probably be closed down due to health hazards. Seriously.

Janna H.

Yelp
Great motel. Very clean. Front desk was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the pool was being serviced, but that wasn't a problem. All the linens were clean. The bathroom was spotless. Will definitely stay again. Allowed me to check in early and will hopefully let me check out late Very kind and helpful staff! Much cleaner, friendlier and gracious service since changed owners from Le Ritz to Clarion. Will definitely stay again!!!!

Yelp
A Fever Dream of Chlorine, Blood, and Boogers - 1 Star Because I Can't Give Zero Where do I even start? The moment we opened the door, we were blasted by a chlorine cloud so thick it felt like stumbling into a WWI trench. Our theory? The bedding gets dunked straight into the hotel's bubbling witch-cauldron of a pool. We passed it earlier--flickering lights, haunted vibes, absolutely cursed. Another reviewer said the pool was haunted. They were right Worried about dead hookers in the mattress? Great--because we were greeted by blood-stained sheets. Not "oops, a housekeeping error"--we're talking forensic evidence levels of bodily fluids. Blood. And boogers. I've stayed in some rough places, but this felt like it needed a detective on scene. When we complained, the staff kindly brought us a replacement set... fresh from the laundry and proudly decorated in permanent marker, like the victim had left a cryptic warning for the next guest. We checked for bed bugs--thankfully, none. Even they must have standards. Still, our son took one look at the bed, listened to our explanation, and quietly decided not to take his socks off, convinced something might try to tunnel under his toenails... The floor? Filthy. The walls? Worse. There was no carpet, despite what their highly staged website photos suggest. In fact, nothing looked like the photos. At all. The bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned this decade, and there wasn't even a bar of soap. Not one. If we'd had a blacklight, I'm confident the entire place would've lit up like a Jackson Pollock painting. If you're a fan of water pressure so strong it could strip paint off a battleship, you'll love the shower here. I'm pretty sure it shares a pump with the equipment they use to cut steel on bridges. Hope you weren't too attached to your skin. The decor looked like it was cobbled together by a homeschooled teen in a free online design program trying to get a D to pass. We considered the continental breakfast... until we watched a woman open her waffle iron too early. The batter stuck. A hotel staffer slopped the half-formed disaster onto her plate like it was a state-mandated punishment and handed it over with the dead eyes of someone who's seen things. They said they might refund us for the room. "Might." Which tells me this happens... a lot. And judging from the dozens of other reviews? It does. Do. Not. Stay. Here. Unless you're writing a horror novel and need inspiration.

Yelp
They are under construction (still?) , and the friendly front desk guy let me know that the sign would be changed in a day or two, they are now the clarion. The location is great! Right on the falls trail system. Out the back door of the hotel and over a little bridge and you have arrived! My room did not have a view of the falls but it was still nice to be so close to the falls and restraunts. Unfortunately , the first room I was given, still had guests in it! The desk guy, quickly got me another room. I had booked two days, but my room key didn't work on day two, hopefully nobody tried to check into my room too?! I'm thinking with the ownership change maybe their reservatiin system wasn't working. Everything was clean but a little run down. Staff was super friendly and funny, I would def come back just for that!

Yelp
Terrible hotel. The floor in the room is filthy, no bars of soap, no washcloths. The mattress is old and broken down, furniture in the room is stained, dirty and wore out.

Leila L.

Yelp
This place was absolutely disgusting. The shower had not been cleaned, the hall carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed for weeks. Same goes for the tile entry floor. Absolutely disgusting

Yelp
DON'T STAY HERE! The REVIEWS are TRUE! They are "under renovation", but that doesn't stop them from renting rooms (We booked through Priceline, "nonrefundable") that are dirty and in disrepair in an UNSAFE hotel. They apologized at check-in that they are "working on painting but it's taking time" - that was a HUGE understatement. The walls of the hallways were a disaster of construction, and our room had a Shop-Vac sitting in the hallway next to the door. The doors are all beaten up and chipped. There are not working smoke detectors in the hallways or the rooms (nor any fire sprinklers, but I don't know if that's required in their code). Emergency exit signage was broken. God forbid there were a fire in the hotel, you'd never know. We had 2 rooms - 1 had no handle on the closet door, a dirty towel, and hadn't been cleaned properly (used Q-tip swab on the floor - eww). The other didn't have a bathroom door (!), the closet door handle was falling off, and the furniture handles were all askew, with the particleboard underside of the desk hanging down and the curtains coming off of the track. I'm attaching pictures; we checked in at 10:30 PM and left by 7:30 AM, so no time to deal with any of it while we were there, but please, if you read the reviews, believe them and STAY ELSEWHERE.

Moriah P.

Yelp
I will continue to repost my review that keeps getting deleted. TRASHY hotel, I'd rather sleep at a motel. Front desk dude is useless. Can't understand a word that comes out of his month, he's rude and disrespectful. He hung up on me three times when I just needed his help. He wouldn't tell me his name but believe me I will find out:) This place is absolutely disgusting. Walked into a room with zero toilet paper, no towels, a dirty tub still full of old water, old bars of soap with hair on it, hair all over the tub that was not ours, blow drier doesn't work. Just one big huge yikes all the way around. I need to speak to whoever is in charge because this is beyond unacceptable. Like I said in my last review that seemed to be deleted... This WILL NOT BE THE LAST YOU HEAR FROM ME. I will be calling the health department first thing on Monday. This place shouldn't even be in business.

Yelp
Horrendous. Sometimes all you can do is laugh! I see a lot of "give us another chance" responses from the hotel staff but it's been weeks since some of these reviews with no change. Main lobby is half full of trash, old chairs, desks etc all stacked up and off to the side. Maybe from the part of the hotel they're "remodeling". We had 3 rooms booked and the clerk at the desk apparently apologized that we were gonna be in the area being renovated. It seems like many other recent reviewers here had the same experience! We go down to the back hallway and it's full of people painting, walking in and out of rooms, trash all over, bins everywhere and so on. I feel bad for these people, they were all really polite but obviously weren't told guests were coming to these rooms. There were even some people going in and out of our room before we went in. And the rooms didn't have bolts so I was concerned one of the workers might walk in not realizing it was occupied during the evening or next day. Regarding the room - again, just had to laugh. It looked like someone got into an old-fashioned fist fight and the room was left in shambles. All the knobs were loose and off center, lampshades next to the bed were loose and messed up, and when I tried to close the curtains to darken the room, the only curtain that moved left a big gap on the side. So there was no way to close the curtains completely! See photos for full comedic effect. In the bathroom there was a note about wiping off makeup with white towels and how you'd get a surcharge if you used a white towel to wipe off makeup. The note said to use a black towel - which didn't even exist But if you're threatening to charge people because they got makeup on your white towels, how well are you cleaning your towels??? Honestly that grossed me out. And maybe just offer makeup wipes like literally any other hotel? The tub was also gross. The sliding barn door into the bathroom would slide back open after I closed it. Hilariously bad. The pool looked haunted. I'm seeing the owner of the hotel or something apologizing on the Google reviews but absolutely no effort is being given to address any of the issues people are having. I heard a man talking to the desk clerk about how his curtains wouldn't close either, and the desk guy said housekeeping would take just a few minutes to fix it. Guy yelled back that this obviously wasn't something that would take a few minutes! Just absolute incompetence on display here, and as much as I can empathize with customer service being difficult, the people running this place seem to not care at all. Our group was apologized to for being put in the renovation area but from what others are saying, this seems to be a common occurrence too.

Yelp
Awful. The hallways were dirty, the queen beds were booked were full size, the pool was ice cold and the hot tub was tepid. We stayed one night, asked for a refund for the second night we did not stay and were refused.

Yelp
This place is incredible! The rooms are very spacious. The beds are very comfortable, the pool is clean and indoors! I love the front desk and their friendly staff. We are staying here for a total of 13 days and do not regret using this hotel as our long-term stay.

Hunter K.

Yelp
The bathroom has no door there is also a $100 damage fine and you can only pay with card the pool and breakfast was At least decent they start cleaning breakfast right at 9am yeah not the best hotel I would say not to stay here
google avatar

Yelp
After previewing the the reviews, we hesitated to follow through with our reservations here, but is seriously not as bad as many of the reviews state. They have a very nice pool at a comfortable temperature, a hot tub and small but adequate fitness center. The rooms are old but they are large, clean and have all the typical items found in a well appointed hotel room. Fridge with small freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The tub in my room was badly stained and unattractive but useable. My biggest negatives were the staff. Ever staff member I encountered was grumpy and unhappy. Must be s horrible place to work with all the misery, it appeared. I'd stay here again if the need came up. Prices were good.

Yelp
This hotel was so bad we asked for a refund and left. 1. Horrible check in process. Took forever . They did not seem to be in communication with each other as to which rooms were cleaned and ready. 2. One front desk person BERATED another (clueless ) check in person IN FRONT OF US. 3. Boxes everywhere. Looked like they were moving in or out 4. Fitness "room" had one machine and pieces of equipment over the floor...screws, bolts, rolled up carpet. And the room smelled terrible. 5. Hot tub didn't appear filled or working. 6. Given keys for one room, the number written on them, they didn't work BUT worked on the room next door. 7. Carpet old and dirty. Many things didn't appear clean or cared for. 8. Settled in when, directly above our room, they seemed to be jack hammering? It was 4:30 and there were guests and the construction noise was frightening. Called the front desk and said "Do you hear this?" -I had to SHOUT for her to hear me on the phone. "Oh, yes ma'am we'll help you". The hammering continued and we left. I've never left a hotel before but I've never had an experience like this. I'm not exaggerating. It was truly this bad.

Yelp
Wow, where to begin? I walked into the lobby and it is FULL of mattresses, furniture, etc. Stacks everywhere. I was wondering if I somehow ended up in the wrong place. The man at the desk said they were in the process of replacing all the furniture. Ok, I guess that's good, but why are you still open? He was very kind and the only positive I have about the place. Then - oh my gosh the hallways. The carpets were dirty, there was dust everywhere from the moved furniture. I'm talking handprints and crumbles of...dry wall? Then some kind of plumbing leak was happening in front of the elevator in what I think was a supply closet. Giant puddle spewing and a poor employee trying to mop it up. I had to walk through the puddle to get into the gross elevator. The hallways were full of odds and ends that had been moved out of the rooms. The key didn't work the first time, which would've not been a big deal had I not had to walk through the puddle again. The room itself...had all of the old furniture that was in the process of being replaced. Whatever that's fine. The sink leaked, the toilet randomly made noise that didn't sound right. And the black out curtains wouldn't slide, so the sheer curtains let the street light through all night! If I hadn't booked the stay through my company, I would've just left. Maybe give them a few months to get rid of the old furniture that's everywhere first.

Yelp
Horrible management. I booked a room 3 month ago and showed up for my check in to find out they overbooked and sold my room. Then, they charged my credit card stating I was a no show. Whatever you do avoid this hotel

Rob E.

Yelp
Oh what a disaster. The hotel is being renovated and it's unbelievable to me that they would be open for business under all the chaos. I'm honestly not sure if our room is pre- or post-renovation, although sadly, I suspect it is post renovation. If it is, they need to fire their contractor immediately. The work is incomplete and beyond shoddy. The bed is sitting on an unfinished particleboard platform that is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Upon arrival to our room; stained pillows, no towels, no waste basket, no bed-side lamps, half the outlets not working, horribly stained ironing board, no iron.... I could go on and on, but first I need to go find a plunger to un-plug the toilet because there's no maintenance staff on site! Also, wifi is so weak that I reverted to my hotspot. No in-room phone despite instructions all over the place to dial "0" if you need help with anything. Not worth even 25% of what they're charging. Lots of hotels on this street, so I suggest passing on this place..

Marie B.

Yelp
Not worth the money, bed sucks. Floors are dirty, pool is not attractive and the breakfast situation was absolutely awful. Not sure if there was an invention of some kind when my family and I came to stay but we couldn't even get in to make a plate if we wanted to.

Eric T.

Yelp
How is it to stay here? Think of a rundown motel and that is about right. There were plenty of big issues, like the bathroom doesn't have a door, the AC didn't work, and none of the promised amenities like a place to wash clothes existed. On top of that, all kinds of little things went wrong like the room key stopped working multiple times a day and the breakfast was always out of food. Not worth the money at all. The only redeeming thing was the kind staff.

Bill W.

Yelp
Property is run down, looks like unkept dormitory, WiFi NEVER worked, tv list was never accurate, breakfast was horrible, guests were griping about food temps , quantity available, no tables cleaned, very unfriendly staff. Don't ever consider this property. The pictures on website were from years ago. Now the grass and shrubs are dead and weeds are everywhere. Terrible property, there are many better options.

Yelp
horrible hotel. room had a leak in ceiling and wall, desk clerk said it wasn't wet I had to touch the wall and show him my fingers where wet. moved me an hour later. I had to take the ironing board, alarm and hangers to the other room as it didn't have these. also no washcloths. internet is non existent, it would show up and then disappear so you couldn't join. Kids riding bike in hallway also. Was suppose to stay a week but only stayed the one night. I was charged for an extra night because I checked out at noon.

Yelp
Should have read the reviews. Should have asked to see the room before we paid for it. Should have noticed the cancellation policy from the third party booking as I would've canceled immediately. Original room price was $101, but fees and taxes bumped it up to $141!! Value provided? Not half that. This is a $55. room at best. Hotel is under renovation and there are certain areas you can't get into. This is not mentioned anywhere on their website although when questioned, the Desk Clerk said it was. Any recent reviews that are giving a 5/5 are suspected bots. Ignore them. Notes: Room # 159 Outside Security door was broken so anyone from the street can enter 24/7. We mentioned this to the desk clerk and he said he would report it. We have a feeling it's been broken for a long time. The tiled floor and hallway carpets were filthy and the doors to the rooms looked like gray steel prison doors. Not kidding. It was a creepy feeling. There is one ice machine located in the lobby area but you cannot go through the hotel to get there. You have to go across the parking lot because of the renovations taking place. Our room did not have an ice bucket, we had to request one. Room had a terrible odor of cleaner or possibly exterminator spray (?) based on others' reviews of ants, mice and bedbugs. We had to open our window to try to air it out. The window track was absolutely filthy. Looked like it had never been cleaned. For a newly renovated room, the furniture inside is not new. It has either been repainted or repaired. The draperies were far too long and covered the radiator style heater/cooler so they had to be all bunched up and folded onto the windowsill in order to get airflow. The heating/cooling system itself did not have a safety grate cover, and was very dirty inside so what are we breathing in?? The bedding appeared to be fairly new, which was a good thing, but the mattresses were not. They're old and mine was a bit lumpy. The sheets were not deep enough to completely fit under the mattress. Also, on my bed underneath the sheet, I could see a long black hair which I chose to leave because I didn't want to touch it. The bathroom toilet paper had about 10 squares left on it and should've been replaced before we arrived. The toilet paper itself is so thin that you need to use triple the normal amount!! The body lotion tube was half empty, indicating it had been used by a previous guest and never replaced. The shower curtains had stains on the inside of them that looked like it might've been mold/mildew and there was no nonskid surface in the tub which was a bit slippery. The showerhead had a lot of lime buildup on it but worked OK however, you could not use the adjustable slider for different flows as it was stuck in place. The water temperature was fine and did not fluctuate as indicated in other reviews. The towels are very thin, worn and small. There was one face cloth, two hand towels, 3 bath towels and no bath mat. We requested and received extras and were told to use a towel as the bathmat. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the room. There were two light switches in the bathroom shower area, but only one functioned, which turned on both the light and the fan which was so loud and noisy that I did not turn it on in the morning for fear of waking up other guests in the hotel. The other switch was supposedly to turn on the heat lamp, but because it was just screw end pushing out of the wall and not an actual switch, it did not work. There was one lamp in the room between the two beds, but no lamp in the area deemed to be a desk. I requested an extra lamp for the room, but was not provided with one. On the side of each bed is a gooseneck reading light - neither one worked. When I called the desk to let them know, he said he was going to come and fix it because it was just a loose connection, but he never showed up. The Internet WiFi is 100% USELESS. We were told to log in to the Clarion - a next-door hotel, so I guess we're stealing it from them - but it didn't work anyway, the signal was too weak so basically, there is No free Internet at this hotel. The TV guide information bears no resemblance to the station on any channels and some channels do not have an adequate signal to provide the picture or sound. Based on other reviews, we skipped breakfast and instead picked up a McDonald's Egg McMuffin and a Starbucks coffee We will never stay here again. Note to owner: don't bother apologizing. Nobody believes you anymore.

K B.

Yelp
The worst hotel ever. dirty dirty dirty. Trash and food in rooms. No mattress pads. Stained mattresses. Sheets don't fit. Absolutely gross. Construction everywhere! wet spackle and wet paint. Libby Af melted like two day old curry. No one spoke English. It was an absolute nightmare. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. When I talked to the front desk they acted like didnt see a problem with any of it. I showed them the pictures and they just said oh well you have to understand where we are coming from too. That's it. No explanation. Just kept saying that phrase like it's a phrase they learned when they learned English because they thought it would help. I cannot believe this place hadn't been shut down

Yelp
We had booked this hotel through Priceline, and the pictures did not show as they did online in person. The place was dirty and gross to the point of us not even going in our rooms before we decided we felt unsafe and wanted to book elsewhere. We contacted Priceline and expressed our experience and they did not refund us like we feel like the should have. The hotel won't respond to Priceline for our refund. They are being sneaky and sketchy. I would NOT suggest this hotel for anyone. The Hilton right next door was phenomenal. Don't waist your time here at "le ritz"

Yelp
MICE IN ROOM, do NOT STAY HERE I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer treatment here. Our room had mouse droppings on the bed, wet urine already on the toilet, and a mouse freely running around the room even with the lights on. This is unacceptable and unhygenic. We told the front desk and were promised a refund, and we promptly checked out without using the room at all. In fact we wiped down the bathroom and desk. We then slept in our car which was awful but we felt assured that we would get a refund for this unacceptable situation. We were not even offered another room. The hotel has yet to offer us a refund, and they denied the request over the phone. $140 to sleep with mice is just wrong. The management blamed the employee for offering us a refund, which seems unfair as that was the decent thing to do. We have not been able to reach them by phone since they denied our initial request for a refund... An absolutely disgusting experience, both in the hotel and on the phone with management.

Yelp
All hotels booked in Idaho Falls, but you have to be impressed with the integrity of this hotel when a room typically is $119 a night on Thursday evening and $750 five days later. How violated would you feel?

Yelp
I will never go back again. The place is supposedly remodeling but is still dirty and run down. We were given a room but it was dirty and in disrepair. We went to the front desk and requested a new room that the renovation was complete in. There was a long hair on the "clean" towels, stains on the comforter, and unsecured electrical outlets. The old lock was removed from the door and it was filled with expanding foam. The hallway carpet was stained with dirty dented trash cans. We decided to leave and were told no refunds. At that point, I didn't care. We contacted Hotels.com who was also unsuccessful in getting us a refund because the hotel said we were offered a new room and didn't accept. I contacted management and requested a refund and never heard back. So not only dirty and in disrepair but poor customer service. Too bad zero stars isn't an option.

Yelp
For the price it was decent. They might be remodeling, they has a ton of boxes in the lobby which it would definitely be needed. The staff was super friendly and the included breakfast was the standard stuff. The hotel is just a little run down when we stayed. You're super close to a river walk so the view is nice from the rooms.

Yelp
The night clerk (I was told by that clerk she was the owner) accepted my reservation via Priceline when I showed up to get my Priceline reservation the night clerk charged me a deposit and extra $40 per night per dog. I only have I animal and he is a emotional support for me. Priceline confirmed me a price and the Clarion ownership wanted to charge me all these hidden fees. I asked for my money back told them I would go somewhere else. She told me take it up with Priceline for your return. Priceline told me they accepted my payment and are not going to refund me for god awful reason. Priceline reaches out twice to the owners of the Clarion and both times said no refund. How dare you come from your country in to ours we accept you will open arms and you take a job out country provided for you then you rob the Patrons and lie about to get your way. Shame on the owners at the Clarion. With hospitality like that I bet you got kicked out of country. Worse experience of my life and I was married to a wife who had way more sex then I did when we were married. STAY AWAY FROM HERE

Yelp
Surprised by all the negative reviews. Sure, Le Ritz isn't a glamorous hotel, but it's a solid place to stay if you need a good night of rest We're driving up to West Yellowstone from CA. Had horrible experiences in both Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Came late in the day to Idaho Falls and wasn't expecting much from Le Ritz, but we're pleasantly surprised. Great bed - seriously, friendly and welcoming service, and free (and solid) breakfast in the morning. The whole property made sense as a part of the backdrop of Idaho Falls: quaint and charming. Sure, some things need to be updated, but it wasn't as bad as a lot of folks paint it out to be. Give it a try!

Yelp
READ THE REVIEWS! Do not stay here! I learned a serious lesson by not reading the reviews. I have never felt more unsafe and disgusted by a place! They put us in a disgusting building that they were renovating and there was nails, wood, electrical cords, paint, and a lot of other hazardous materials laying around the floor. The room itself was pretty gross with stains on the bed and the shower didn't drain. Absolutely disgusting do not stay here, it is extremely unsafe.

Yelp
This place is a SCAM (Traveler Beware)!! Their website shows long ago pictures of the place which look very good. If you use TRAVAGO , Hotels.com, Trip Adviser or other search engine it will take you to this place and show the very old photos that do not represent it at all!! It's under remodification construction and they don't clean the place. The search engines will show you a fair rate but the catch is it's "NOT Refundable". When you get there the Lobby is filled with old furniture, appliances and carpet. The hall ways and rooms are disgustingly filthy. No cleaning at all. There is mold in the bathrooms, stains/tears in the carpet (Halls & Rooms) and construction dust on everything (Furniture, Bedding, etc....). Bedding/Towels appear to not be washed between customer occupancies. Sheets are stained and dirty!!! Phones don't work in the rooms and Room Keys don't work with the doors (inside & outside). After you look at a room and go back to the Front Dest the first thing they tell you is that your nightly booking rate is "NOT Refundable". This is the SCAM "NOT Refundable" and the pictures of the place do not represent the current condition let along the "Not in Condition for Human Habitation" **((Unsafe & UnHealthy))** Unhealthy to stay there - I ate the cost $106.00 and went down the road to a Hotel that was super clean for about the same cost. Idaho Falls -BBB has many complaints about this place and they are all very similar to this review.

Yelp
This place is gross and scary. The shower had hairs and the smoke detector is falling off the wall. I could barely sleep because of being so anxious. Do NOT stay here.

Yelp
Hotel is really dirty. We went to our first room and on the way there all the doors have about an inch gap under them. Once we got to our room there were brown stains on the floor, not to mention the giant moldy water stain down the wall. So onto our second room, the floors have never been swept, there are crumbs everywhere, hair in the sheets on one of the beds, an Inch of dust on the trim of the place and the shower has black specks in it. All in all wouldn't chose this place to stay at for the price, spend an extra 20 and stay someplace else.

Yelp
To say this hotel is remodeling, but it's Filthy!! we walked into our room without a bolt on the door- just a sticker. floors walls and ceiling were filthy. paint and stained streaks all over the walls. no door for the bathroom for privacy to toilet and shower from bedroom. $140 for repulsive cleanliness-condition was deplorable. - even during a renovation!!

Mary T.

Yelp
The bathroom had no door - seriously. That's the way the room is constructed. None of the promised amenities were available: no laundry, the room phones were not hooked up and there was no phone jack in site to even try to hook them up. Upon arrival the air conditioner had to be replaced in one of our rooms, the toilets kept malfunctioning, the breakfast wasn't kept up, and there were no irons. The ironing board in one room wouldn't close. It was put away fully extended taking up all the closet space. Housekeeping only dropped off towels occasionally, but did not pick up the old towels or take out the garbages ever. We had to buy our own toilet paper because it was never replaced. Our keys had to be reset multiple times a day. We were careful not to let them be by our phones, but every other time we had to get into our room the keys wouldn't work. We paid hotel prices for the quality of a run down motel. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is that their staff were very nice.

Yelp
Great place to stay. We flew in to see our kids and kept the grandkids with us at the hotel. The pool and spa was the kids favorite and plenty of other kids to play with was perfect. The staff super friendly and the rooms had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were super comfy!!! Breakfast was good and the coffee was even better with 3 different flavor creamers. Would def stay here again the next time we are in town.

Yelp
Rooms are small, beds are old and need to be replaced, you would think with the hotel being on the river with amazing views rooms would be better... Beds need to be bigger and newer the outlets need to be replaced plugged my phone cord in and it fell out.. floors weren't vacuumed very well.. hotel needs a huge remodel focus on your rooms customer service

L B.

Yelp
Extremely unclean anywhere and everywhere you go, unsafe, random furniture everywhere in the lobby, puddles of water in the hallway, no hot water in the rooms.

Andrew P.

Yelp
Skip this place. Its remodeling and debris and furniture are everywhere. We made a reservation and the Customer Service is less than helpful. When we showed up and saw the condition we requested to cancel and stay at another place. They refused to cancel the first night. Charged for both nights and the card on file. Agreed to cancel the second night and charged the reservation card some more money. Nobody wants to help, they just want to pass the buck to the next shift. Just pick the place down the street.

Yelp
When you call to book your room/ check in, be sure to ask if your room has a bathroom door! Ours did NOT! Clerk did NOT tell us that our bathroom did not have a DOOR, so it was a big surprise! Very awkward when traveling with my elderly parents! No privacy. When I went down to complain and ask for a new room, I was told, "Sorry- it's because of the remodel!" I told him that he should have disclosed there was not bathroom door, and he said that "they did not do that". We ended up staying because it was late and my parents were already tucked in bed when I was ready to leave. Um, I do not think they plan on putting in bathroom doors because there are no signs of that kind of work to be done. Bathroom is wide open with no signs of door framework, etc. For 163.00 dollars ( that was the final cost after taxes), you would think we would get a bathroom door!!

Yelp
So so hotel that needs updated and not worth the daily rate. WIFI does not work. You would be better of to stay at a national chain hotel near by.
