23 Best Things to Do When You're in Singapore | Condé Nast Traveler

"In the 1800s, this quay, or wharf, near modern-day Fort Canning Park , was one of the centers of trade, when barges would transport goods upstream for storage in the warehouses. Today, the warehouses have been restored and painted in rainbow hues, making this a great photo spot. Instagram-worthiness aside, Clarke Quay has also become one of Singapore's food, drink, and entertainment hubs. The whole area has been converted into an open-air pedestrian precinct filled with restaurants, bars, and clubs." - Ashlea Halpern

Clarke Quay – Landmark Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What's the story behind this place? It's a beautiful riverside quay in Singapore home to a clutch of historic warehouses. In the 1800s, this was one of the centers of trade, when barges would transport goods upstream for storage. Today, the warehouses have been restored and painted in rainbow hues, making this a great photo spot. Instagram-worthiness aside, Clarke Quay has also become one of Singapore's food, drink, and entertainment hubs—the whole area has been converted into an open-air pedestrian precinct filled with restaurants, bars and clubs. Will we need a guide to help us get around? There are private tour operators, but it's a place that's easily explored on your own. You can also book river cruises from the piers along the waterside to take you down the Singapore River. Who comes here? It's a hotspot for friend groups, dates, and tourists.  So why would you recommend it? If you're after a bit of nightlife or a good meal, this place will do the job. There are plenty of options and it's lively most nights of the week, so you won't be disappointed. Note: Most restaurants are also open in the day, but it's much quieter then. And who do you think would most enjoy it? This is best for those who are looking for a bit of a buzz, whether it's by trying one of Singapore's most popular hot pot restaurants, open till the wee hours ( Hai Di Lao ), checking out its most famous club ( Zouk ), or going for a round of mini golf and drinks ( Holey Moley ). This is also one of the most convenient places to go pub-hopping—there are numerous options here to suit any age, budget, or music/dining preference." - Audrey Phoon

Google
Great district to visit. Spot sights like the Old.dock areas which are bomb proof. All lovely pretty colours. Loads of eateries waterside and lots of bars. Vibrant and fun for all ages, families and couples. Great choice of shops and goods to purchase. Loads of boats trips available on traditional.boats along the Singapore river. Nice to do the boat ride at dusk and you can really see this area come to life with it's riverside dining. It's well worth the trip to see this area. Steeped in history and it's really made good use of what would have been a derelict area. Clean and tidy. Ideal for families to spend the evening there. Lots to do, lots to see and plenty to eat and drink. Highly recommend this place.

Clarke Quay is hands down my favorite hangout spot in Singapore. The whole place just comes alive vibrant lights, buzzing bars, great food, and that beautiful riverside vibe. Whether you’re sipping on a cold drink, hopping on a river cruise, or just walking around soaking in the energy, it never disappoints. From cozy pubs to lively clubs and street performances, there’s always something happening. I’ve had some of my best chill evenings here great views, amazing eats, and that perfect mix of fun and relaxation. Absolutely love every bit of it!

One of the unique and exciting Singapore experiences can be gathered in the Clarke Quay. Its a street but more than that an experience with different kids of Singapore experience. Eating shopping boat rides adventure all are happening in this street. Also can have riverside dining experience. Also if you are lucky enough to visit this from July to August 9 on any Saturday you can watch Singapore fireworks from 8.15pm

Clarke Quay is a bustling tourist destination filled with restaurants, bars, nightspots, and entertainment venues. Located beside the historic Singapore River, it offers scenic boat rides where tourists can enjoy views of Singapore’s skyline. Over the years, Clarke Quay has undergone continuous upgrading and enhancement, making it an attractive spot for both locals and visitors.

Google
A great destination to see some of Singapore’s waterfront best. Catch a bum boat, walk around the quay, eat famously, karaoke, and enjoy the evening cool after a steamy day seeing the other sights.

Yelp
Clarke Quay is one of Singapore's liveliest spots, packed with restaurants, bars, and nightlife along the Singapore River. Whether you're looking for a nice dinner, a casual drink, or a full night out, there's something for everyone. The riverside setting adds to the charm, especially in the evening when the lights reflect off the water. That said, it's definitely a tourist-heavy area, so expect higher prices and a slightly commercial feel. The atmosphere is energetic, with music pumping from bars and crowds keeping the place buzzing. If you're after an authentic, local experience, this might not be it--but if you just want a fun night in a scenic location, Clarke Quay delivers.

Yelp
A perfect & vibrant place to enjoy nightlife in Singapore. Has a river surrounded by multiple restaurants nearby that serves a variety of cuisines. Boat rides are available and the views from the iconic illuminated bridge are spectacular. A perfect place to sit and enjoy the night with friends and family. It's a must-visit destination for both travelers and locals.

Yelp
Clarke Quay Such a great place to hangout. Food, water, boats, shopping, clubs, drinks, music, and having a good old time. The place comes alive at night. You cannot miss this. Highly Recommended

Yelp
Great place to visit when in Singapore. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants. You can find all sorts of things to do and places to eat. Also has reverse bungee on nearby Boat Quay.

Yelp
This place is very busy and the heart of the city. You get almost all the food options, clubs, sheeha bars, nice views, music - literally everything. It is diverse. Full of tourists all around too. Very very crowded place.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the perfect place to catch food and drinks near the water. I did just that one day and it wasn't too bad, considering it was 90 degrees, with the usual high humidity. The important thing to remember is that the majority of the restaurants here are only open during lunch and dinner, so they are closed between those hours. There was one restaurant that was only open from 6pm - 5am, obviously catering to the drinking tourists. You can also pay to take a boat ride down the canal. They had just unloaded an entire tour bus when I was here.

Yelp
Clarke Quay is a favorite spot for both locals and tourists alike, and is one of my most favorite places to hangout in Singapore. Whatever you are in the mood for, Clarke Quay has something that you'll like. Want some sightseeing? Take a river cruise down the Singapore River to the Marina Bay and back. Do this during the day to get a good picture of the beauty and glamorous architecture of Singapore. Do this at night to get a more romantic feel; and if you do it at the right time, you can catch Singapore's nightly light shows. If you are in a lively and energetic mood, then grab a drink from one of the many bars with outdoor seating; enjoy the live music and occasional performances by some street artists; and soak in the chill vibes and festive atmosphere. Ready for some gourmet dining? You are at the right place! Try Jumbo for their famous Chili crab which is one of Singapore's signature cuisines, or check out celebrity chef Violet Oon's Satay Grill, among other fine restaurants. Ready to party? There are a couple of nightclubs there including the World famous Zouk, which was ranked #4 in the World's Top 100 Clubs by DJ Magazine in 2016. If you are in a romantic mood, then this is one of the most beautiful places to take a stroll along the river at night, under the stars and the moon, and above the reflections of the neon lights. Clark Quay is the perfect place to drink, to dance, or to dine. To chill, to party, or to celebrate. To explore, to enjoy, or just to relax. Or to fall in love... With Singapore...

Yelp
Come here at night. There isn't much here besides bars, clubs and restaurants. At night the whole area is lit up and it's a cool spot to eat and drink. Not much to do during the day There are a couple of "meh" malls in the area you can check out but they are basically a waste of time... especially compared to the shops on Orchard or at the Marina.

Yelp
Clarke Quay is one of those locations that rose out of Singapore's past and moved into the twenty-first century in a very tourist-orientated manner. Located along the Singapore River, this location is the home to numerous restaurants, bars, and the kick off spot for the river rides. Though you can petty much visit Clarke Quay anytime day or night, it is essential to keep in mind that virtually all of the restaurants shut down for a few hours between the lunch and dinner crowds. So, if you are going there planning to eat around 3:00 PM, your options will be very limited. Clarke Quay is a bright and colorful location at night. There are generally a lot of people eating, drinking, and socializing. It can get crowded. Overall, this is one of the Singapore spots where the new has been forced over the old and it is now best defined as simply a place to hang out, eat and enjoy a few drinks.

Yelp
Famous for its picturesque waterside restaurants and a collection of chic bars and clubs, this beautiful riverside Quay in Singapore has much to offer. A host of family-centric things to see and do including a relaxing cruise down the Singapore River while you marvel at the magnificent view during the day. Or take a leisurely stroll amidst the glittering lanes with a lively nightlife when the sun goes down. An impressive lineup of various cuisines to satisfy every palates with live music serenading you while you dine. Or settle in at one of the bars lining up the venue with your favorite cocktail while you unwind and soak in your surroundings. If dancing is your thing, the nightclubs here are jumpin' til the early mornin'! There is something for everyone whether you choose to visit during the day or prefer the nightlife scene that is more appealing to the 21+ crowds. Clarke Quay is a must visit on your tourist trail! It's one of the reasons why Singapore is a bucket list destination!

Yelp
It was all serendipity w/ this place. After we got back from dinner, I wasn't ready to go to sleep yet. I wanted to go for a run vs. running on the treadmill so I put on my wireless headphones, my HR monitor strap, my HR monitor watch, 2 of my phones, and my room key and took off. Singapore is a city that never sleeps. I found that out when I went for a run on a random weeknight. I found this place and was in complete shock because I enjoy that type of scenery; lots of nice restaurants and the live music playing at every restaurant/bar. I was sweaty AF but that did not stop me from halting my run to listen to a few tunes before I resumed my run. I ran about 4 miles total and was quite stoked that I burned a lot of calories and the fact that discovered this spot. My favorite spot is the lighted heart by the river.

Yelp
If you're in Singapore and want to go party, this area is it! From nightclubs to late night eateries Clarke Quay did not disappoint!! The architecture is so fun and different it's definitely somewhere I'll never forget! Eateries varies depending on your budget. They have something for everyone!

Yelp
A friend of mine wanted to come here for Taco Tuesday at Senior Tacos; it was a great suggestion. The food was great and so was the service. The best part about this place is the romantic atmosphere. There are restaurants all along the waterfront. Many restaurants offer seating inside the restaurant or waterfront. It's nice to have the option given how hot and humid this place is. As the night progressed there were no shortage of bars and restaurants offering live music. We stumbled upon a very talented trio of musicians playing at Little Saigon. They were GOOD; so good that I couldn't help myself from dancing the night away. Next thing I knew the place was packed with patrons. I highly recommend Clarke Quay for a nice night out on the town filled with dinner, drinks, and maybe even a little dancing. Yes, it's full of tourists, but what's wrong with that? At the end of the day, we're all just people wanting to enjoy life.
google avatar

Yelp
My bf warned me that this place was overpriced for tourists, but we were tourists, so of course we went to take a look. My first visit was on xmas eve. I actually didn't like the crowds of people hanging about, drinking, chatting, and wearing funky headbands with bright, flashing lights. Kind of as crowded as Streetparade or Badenfest in Switzerland. I guess I just don't like being amongst masses of people. We went back again the next day, and it was a LOT more sparse. Where did all the people go?? Clarke Quay has a little stand at the HiPPO River Cruise to buy tickets for the DUCKtours and Hop on Hop off buses, so it was really convenient. But the rest of it is pricey touristy stuff (i.e. Hooters, Turkish ice cream, bars, restaurants) that I can experience anywhere else, so I opted not to partake in favor of some more memorable Singaporean experiences. :P Despite all the commercial stuff, Clarke Quay also offers a nice view of Central Mall from across the brown river. And there is also 24-hour 7-Eleven nearby to stock up on drinks and snacks.
google avatar

Rich C.

Yelp
You have to try the Turkish ice cream stand. I won't say anything else but get ready to make a video. This is a very tourist centric area so lots of Americana and Singapore foods everywhere. The river tour looks pretty cool and a lot cool things to do. Lots of drink specials at happy hour which is like 5-9 so that's awesome . There a few bars with bands and there's always something to do. Again lots of tourists so be aware if you looking to get away from silly people this is not your place.
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
This is a nice place to come for night life which Has a lot of bars and restaurants. What is cool about it is at night time there are lots of local singers at almost every bar which means you can listen to any genre you want too.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
its the party spot with bars and clubs and restaurant with a nice water view. there's a jumbo seafood restaurant here too. if you want to hangout late and keep it going, Clarke Quay most definitely should be one on your list. will be back soon after coronavirus over.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this area! So much to do here and easy to walk around! We came on a Saturday night and had a great time!! We had dinner at Jumbo and walked along the water to the different bars and music venues. It is such a lively environment so it's just nice to propel watch too. Bottom line..come here to have fun on the weekend!! Pros Easy to find Lots of variety in terms of bars and restaurants Water access
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
This place is nice, aside from it being touristy, smelling of sewage (due to the river), and having it look like a market on steroids at night. The nightlife here is ample and it's clear that people come here to be seen, to mingle and of course enjoy some good food. There's a wide selection of restaurants here, some even are odd. Like there was a restaurant that looks like a hospital clinic and the waitresses are dressed as nurses and you have tubes connected to you for you to drink, it was weird. There are prostitutes here that roam and come up to you discretely, you can't tell they're prostitutes because they dress like one of us, jeans and a tank top. My husband was approached by one, so random. Anyway, the place is packed with people who all want a bit of something, whether it'd be to hit up the nighclubs, the bars, the restaurants, etc. Lots for you to do here!
google avatar

Joey M.

Yelp
I'm normally a huge supporter of Singapore's tourist destinations, but apart from the amazing décor and design here, I (almost) despise CQ. Much unlike the slightly more schmoozey Robertson Quay or the row of pretty good quality restaurants on the Riverwalk, the food at Clarke Quay is grossly overpriced, has the reputation of being slipshod and gimmicky (virtually unheard of elsewhere in Singapore's vast and quality food culture). Even though it's interesting watching some Singaporean (and foreign) women throw themselves at foreign (particularly Caucasian) men, it gets obnoxious after a while, and doing so in such a public arena (at least Orchard Towers has some sort of 'closed walls') may shock some.
google avatar

Allene T.

Yelp
Tourists and ex-pats galore! It was a little dead, as I'm told, on a Wednesday night, but regardless I still found Clarke Quay to be interesting and fun. Wish we had something of this caliber in NYC. I loved the colors and the variety of different bars and lounges that it offered. They had these huge giant AC blowing things, but they were off last night and it became a bit on the hot side at some point. Restrooms are located along ghetto hallway that they push trash through so it smells, but the stalls and washroom itself is very acceptable. It would never be like this in the States. Make sure you walk around the area itself because there are some beautiful picture spots where the bright lights hit the river.
google avatar

Pam C.

Yelp
The quay really comes alive at night, where the waterside gets overrun with locals and tourists in various states of inebriation. There's a lot of people sitting on the bridge or just loitering around with bottles and drinks on hand, and it really gets overwhelming at first. There's a really high density of clubs and bars in this area, although most of them tend to be very generic and overpriced - what you would typically expect from a newer, tourist minded entertainment district. There is a canopy over much of the street, which really comes in handy if it starts to pour. Despite its lightening fast transformation from dusty ghost town during the day to sleezy, boozy debauchery during the day, Clarke Quay actually seems like a very safe place - probably because it seems so newly built and integrated, it feel more like a boozy nighttime mall than a nightlife district. Taxis overrun the place at night as well, so no need to worry about getting a ride home.
google avatar

Charles Ryan T.

Yelp
Excellent place for nightlife! This is one of the first few places in mind when I want to go to for drinking and enjoyment with friends. There are lots of pubs and clubs around that area and if you just want to walk around, there is the Singapore River beside it which offers spectacular view of the area. Restaurants are plentiful in the area too but do take note that the prices are expensive! Furthermore you can catch the ferry to other places from here.

Viji R.

Yelp
Lovely spot to walk around and enjoy night life. This area is filled with some great bars with live music and many restaurants. You can stroll along the river or take a river Cruise to enjoy the city views. Dinner and drinks are slightly pricey but totally worth the atmosphere.
google avatar

Vishal S.

Yelp
Clark Quay has a nice selection of restaurants and bars to spend an evening at. The walk by the riverfront is quite nice and there are river cruises available from Clark Quay that the tourists can partake of. This place does get busy in the evenings with a mix of both local and expat crowd taking in the fun. Among the restaurants, Jumbo Seafood is my favorite for good crabs and seafood!
google avatar

Cecilia S.

Yelp
Wonderful spot to grab some dinner, drinks, and people watch! It's located right along the river, so it's nice a nice spot to unwind after a long day. There are tons of restaurants, bars, and cafes to choose from. For those who like a more active take, it's also a wonderful spot to go for a jog - just keep following the river and you'll wind up someplace nice. It's kind of touristy, but there appeared to be a large expat community here too - or maybe I just caught it during happy hour so everyone was out and about. You can also catch the river cruise here too that will take you out to Marina Bay and the waterfront. Side tip: I would recommend checking it out in the evening. It's quite pretty when all the lights come on.

Yelp
Aside from shopping, Singapore takes pride in their happening night spots. One of which is Clarke Quay. This party place by the river offers a variety of restaurants and means to have fun until the wee hours. During the day, this place is basically a ghost town, but you can enjoy the coin pressing machine and get a souvenir for $2. Also, you can opt to take a uniquely designed postcard as well. As the night falls, the party begins. What I love about this place is its proximity to the Clarke Quay MRT. In relation to the country's campaign of "When drunk, go public" utilizing public transport while drunk is definitely possible in this area. As a party place, it is quite rare for any drunkard disturbances-at least I haven't experienced any. All in all, this is a perfect place to let your hair down, and meet new people in the process. No trip to Singapore would be complete without partying your heart out. And from the looks of it, Clarke Quay is a must visit for your party needs.
google avatar

Steve A.

Yelp
I would give this area 4 stars - as they are certain really cool highlights around here - its just that I don't like the commercialism that is sorta shoved in your face. I still feel that if you wanna have a good time, this is a place to consider. What I Love: The new Restaurants and bars that are adjacent to Clarke Quay itself - not exactly in Clarke Quay - new French, Italian and European restaurants have sprouted up - and they have quite a cool, fun and energetic vibe. Commercial and touristy - but pretty cool options. Laurent, an Italian dessert cafe is always busy. Cafe Iguana, Shiraz (which always has nice belly dance performances over the weekend), and other cafes in the Clarke Quay vicinity itself are cool and fun. What I Don't Love: The crowd and throngs of people. It can get pretty crowded - especially around Attica and all the bars / restaurants. So, brace yourselves!
google avatar

Julz C.

Yelp
Fun place to hang out w/ your group of friend. Lots of drinking options, lounges and restaurants.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
During my last night in Singapore, we had finished a long audit in the Seraya area. We decided to come over the Clarke Quay and enjoy a scenic dinner by the water. The whole area is kind of fun and is cool mix of modern and traditional.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Meh... it's Clarke Quay. I get the appeal - it has colourful buildings, bright lights, and there's lots of activity in the evenings. But that's about it for me. With the exception of Jumbo Seafood, Brewerkz, and (maybe) Hooters, most of the restaurants here are just a-ok. These same feelings apply to the nightclubs- Attica was just meh, and China One speaks for itself, LOL. I did have a good time at F club, but that was a year ago so I'm unsure if it's still good now. Tang Music Box is good for karaoke, but very pricey so be careful! However, I do like The Central mall that's opposite- local Yelpers seem to like the restaurants there, and there are some neat retail stores. Goods of Desire and Lock Down SG are some of my favourite spots. If you're a tourist, it's a decent spot for photos, but I wouldn't waste my time on the eateries. If you're looking for western fare, go a bit further down to Robertson Quay for better and quieter options!
google avatar

Kenneth N.

Yelp
Kinda touristy, but one's gotta do it lol. Better at nite than day b/c the water's really muddy. Plus more action as the pubs/lounges/restaurants, too many trendy ones to mention, open for evening. A place to be seen but nothing really outstanding.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
Since my last visit 2 years ago you can tell that there has been a change in the economy. Clark Quay was so packed then. There wasn't a empty stall. There were carts and street vendors, bars, restaurants and people galore. Now it's a few bars and places to eat, 2 or 3 street carts and a smattering of people. There's several places boarded up. It was kinda sad. This area is lit up beautifully at night. It really is something to see. I hope it revives itself!
google avatar

Dan E.

Yelp
This is perhaps best described as the "Times Square" of Singapore- or if you're from San Antonio, perhaps more appropriately - the "Riverwalk." It's touristy, it is commercialized, westernized in many ways and yet, undeniably still a part of Singapore. Do yourself a favor and spend at least one night visiting here for fun, but do yourself another favor and get out to see the rest of Singapore too.
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
We came on a weekday night, so I am sure that the place gets busier during the weekends. Overall, it is a nice place to visit at night, with many restaurants and bars located around the river. I am not sure about it being a cooler place to be since it still felt hot to me. Definitely a place for tourists and ex-pats. It is nice that the MRT station is relatively close by as well.
google avatar

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Loved my one night in Clarke Quay. It's very touristy feeling, but it's beautiful and a great community center. Flanked around a great little bay, there's river cruises available, and the boardwalk spreads out along the riverfront. There are nice restaurants, wine bars, clubs, and little shops and stands to grab your attention and your need for touristy gimmicks. There's also a giant people swing and catapult chair, for about $45 Singapore Dollars each person. My favorite parts were the great lights at the holidays, the central fountain with the changing lights and the tons of little kids having a ball running through, the lit up kites being flown over the bay with electric neon tails that look like they are climbing up into the sky, and the tons of people enjoying themselves and letting loose a little in the usually-rule-bound Singapore.
google avatar

Cobra K.

Yelp
I think if I lived here I'd come to CQ quite often. Swung by this afternoon and just took a bunch of pictures of all the multicolored buildings. They were pretty and I can put them in my collection of SG multicolored buildings portfolio to include the MultiColored HDM Flats near Bugis MRT, Little India, Haji Lane, and the MICA Building. Worth a look during a well lite afternoon. Bring a camera and spend some time here. I missed the opportunity for a river cruise but maybe next time.

Yelp
Nostalgia. The term nostalgia describes a sentimental longing for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. This place meets the bill for me, but it's changed substantially since that point in time, some 16 years prior. As with many things Singapore, things are rebuilt rapidly and often. Clarke Quay is no different. Back in the "old days" there was a flea market each weekend and my uncle had a store in the mall and my relatives would camp out to sell their wares. It was a fun weekend day to explore the different stalls and head to BK every so often. Now, the vibe has changed and the night life has taken over. Plenty of bars to crawl here.
google avatar

Henry W.

Yelp
This is where everyone tends to go on weeknights and weekends to party it up at one of the generic clubs they have here. I've been to a couple of the clubs here and they were all pretty lame in terms of music and crowd. Full of generic pop club music and locals/tourists trying uber hard to look cool. The decor of the place is actually very eye catching though, especially the ceiling at night.
google avatar

Lachlan B.

Yelp
Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes down here. A good buzz and gets very crowded on the weekend evenings. Singapore River boat tours also leave from here and they are $22 per person and last for 40 minutes. Some restaurants can be really pricey, so check the menu before you go in. Easiest way to get here is taxi or MRT to Clarke Quay station.

Qype User (pinkfi…)

Yelp
We overhaerd some australian tourists discussing Carke quay whilst on the rmt so we decided to get off at that stop and take a look, there is a good choice of bars along the river but can feel a little soul-less, however wander ino the centre through the little lanes and there are better places to eat etc and also more atmosphere. Has an after work drinks feel rather than a tourist attraction. Worth a couple of hours to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat.
google avatar

Marie L.

Yelp
A deserted village by day, a hectic adult playground by night. Not the quaintest place in the world, but a must-see destination. Looking for more things to do in Singapore? Check these out: http://bit.ly/19t8C4J .

Yelp
I believe that Clarke Quay has seen better days... It probably was THE place to go a while back and now it is just working off the remnants of its former glory. I was advised by an expat local to give it a miss but due to the great reviews and guide books saying this a great place to visit I thought I'd go for it. Personally, if I lived in Singapore, I'd definitely go here from time to time, but I wouldn't recommend it for a tourist with few days to spare.
google avatar

Mary-Jane A.

Yelp
If your visiting SIngapore, try to book your hotel near this area. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express which was a 5 min walk to the Quay. This place gets really lively in an evening and there are lot's of restaurants and bars to go to. Nice and fun atmosphere.

Yelp
I only visited a handful of times and I loved it. Not the bumping and grinding or the high impact fun but its ok. Watch yourself I'm this country because laws are strict. I have a friend that was placed in jail because ah girl falsely accused him of grabbing her butt, it was a scam done to many tourist to make them pay up. With all that said, That didn't happen to me and i loved it. Great country

Yelp
Great place to sit somewhere and people watch. Most places have outdoor seating with food and looks like the night life area. Be warned pricey as heck ( went to 3 bars avg beer 18). Wonder if hooters that pricey. Tons of "ladies" asking for good time if your into that.

Yelp
A must must try place in the evening. Lovely restaurants and bars, nice live music, lots of crowd and energy. An evening very well spent.

Yelp
After the major revamp of Clarke Quay years ago, it became the place to go for a night out of food, drinking and dancing. It used to be a nice place to go, but I have honestly not come here in years. Mainly because the vibe is really sleazy now and the bars and clubs are not that great compared to others in Club St or MBS. There are many restaurant options--Mexican, Chinese, Italian and more. Some restaurants are ok, but again I wouldnt come here just to eat dinner when there are so many other places around the island. Clubbing wise there is Attica, Pump Room and Zirca. Attica is pretty sleazy but music is not bad and it can be a fun time. Pump Room has a pretty good live band but again the vibe is kinda sleazy. Zirca is just no fun in my opinion. A place to go if you are a tourist, thats pretty much it.

Yelp
A great place to visit in Singapore. Its full of restaurants, clubs and bars. It fun to wonder around and try different places I had an excellent crab dinner there and really enjoyed the energy of Clarke Quay
