I really like this bar it was very quiet. Everyone can sit there and chat quietly. Or watch a ball game on TV. The seats are very comfortable, the beer and wine selection is also exceptional. Really relaxed. A variety of small decorations and antique ornaments arranged by the boss, which makes this bar full of fun and character.

Brilliant pub proper working class pub for the ordinary man and women all the staff are very friendly get great conversations and laugh with them and the regular customers too. The owner and staff on the street never pass you bye without a great hello. Great function room at the back . Very reasonably priced pints from stout to larger

Took a Hop House. Smelled funny. We paid anyway and only after we asked what was wrong with that. The bartender poured some for himself to drink it and said "it tastes okay". We know how a hop house tastes and that didn't taste good. I'd have expected a bit of understanding and at least him acknowledging the issue. Nothing. If the guy's goal was not to have us anymore in that pub, well, he got his goal today. Good luck with your usual customers

Great shop, Guinness is superb and very reasonable price, horse racing usually takes precedence on TVs but unlike most places it's never blaring. Always quiet and reserved the barmen are sound "Take a seat I'll drop it down to ya" type. Ideal place for an after work pint when you just want peace and quiet or if you wanna just sit and mull over the papers. Really enjoyable experience
