Incredibly high quality local market with a mix of standard factory-produced favorites and good organic fare. Fairly busy even in the off season, clearly a favorite among both locals and visitors. Weird obsession with Fiji water, tells you something about the clientele eh? :)

A very nice selection of groceries, all at exorbitant prices comparatively becayse they are an Independent grocer. Large parking area adjacent to the Aspen Post Office. Convenient location in the center of town. There us a fairly well stocked ACE Hardware store, a fireplace shop, and public restrooms on the lower level below the grocery store. There is also a bike shop and a couple of eating establishments outside the store with indoor and patio/garden seating, and a liquor store with a good selection of wines, beers and all your favorite liquors. The store is clean, well stocked and has a selection of specialty foods likes sausages from Saags and foods you won't find at the the Kroger owned City Market, the only other store in town. Friendly and helpful staff, and a Barista inside if you want a Mocha or Latte while shopping.

Great market for groceries and general supplies. Larger and more parking than the other local market. What I really like is how they also make food and have a kind of salad buffet bar, it's especially good for those on a budget of that is even an issue for those who visit Aspen!

This market is pretty decent. Good selection. More healthy options than the other market. More speciality foods. Easier to get around, not so tight like the other grocery store in Aspen. Love it for that. Good variety. The restaurants in the same plaza are decent too. I miss when they had cashiers. But I I guess it's hard to find workers in Aspen.

Very impressed with Clark's Markets upscale additions and tons of new items. The store looks great and is the best in the past 10 years I have been shopping there. I was assisted by Jim and he told me of the over 2000 new items. I am so excited to try so many new offerings! The Clark's team has worked so hard and as a community member I am pleased to have such a wonderful store in town, and appreciate all the efforts that went into the new design. Thank you so much and looking forward to my next visit! Great job!!! -Jen

They have completed a full re org on this Clark’s and it’s so wonderful! I really enjoyed shopping here this time since they’ve moved things around. Where we came from, the grocery stores are so well stocked and organized like this and much larger. So it was refreshing to come here and feel like it was a nicer shopping experience. What was once a daunting task (going to grocery store in Aspen) just got much more enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team for stepping it up! It is now my favorite grocery store in the valley.

Google
This store has very helpful and friendly staff! They have a hot deli lunch, great produce, snacks, and frozen food and carry specialty items like shabbat candles, halvah, and gluten free breads and desserts. They carry ice and the NY times. Located with plenty of parking and near restaurants. It's a great place to pick up things in a hurry, and easy to navigate and they always have cashiers available and self checkouts open.

Yelp
With choices of all restaurants, and all things considered - money and time, we decided to have a quick lunch from the market. Few minutes walked in, out with fried chicken and box of sushi, sat at outside picnic table, we were totally satisfied.

Yelp
Who would've thought it. Nice little upscale grocery store. Coffee counter right in front. They do the best café mocha in Aspen. And there's a lot of coffee shops here. But these guys do it the best. And their prices are half or less than half of what everybody else charges. Do you want a good café mocha, latte, whatever, go in to Clark's grocery store

Yelp
This market is conveniently located right by a park in downtown. I stopped by for a few last minute camping supplies and found exactly what I needed. This market is so clean and well organized, I could have stayed and looked around all day!

Yelp
I think Clark's Market is great! It's a rather small market, but the selection is thoughtfully curated and carries some diverse selections. Being in Aspen, everything is at a premium, but with that being said- I still find the prices here very reasonable. The service is really friendly too. Every time I go to checkout, the cashiers have pleasant demeanors and make me feel like they are genuinely grateful for the business. I am happy to shop here and also appreciate the upbeat music. I heard some NKOTB the last time I was there and really appreciated the late 80's throwback! Nice work Clark's, keep up the positive vibes!

Yelp
Very expensive, but I guess when your in Aspen, one should not be surprised. Selection was good, not great and store was clean and neat.

Yelp
This market is a bit nicer than city market but I found the prices here are a bit higher than city market. People love the gelato here but is not for me. I had the fresh fruit shake and it was nothing to talk about.

Yelp
A complete facelift to Clarks market has left me speechless. It is a great re-introduction to Aspen. I look forward to shopping here in the future versus going down to whole foods. Please take a moment to go to here for you grocery needs

Yelp
Clark's was the go to store 20 years ago - we just returned to Aspen after having spent 25 years here for vacations - incredibly disappointed - City Market is the place to grocery shop - Clark's is expensive? why - City Market while always crowded is much better value. So sad -it was not busy at all and yet City Market is so busy it makes you crazy. what happened to Clark's?

Yelp
Most likely one of the worst juice bar in the world! This place is very disorganized and not very clean, but the price is fair for Aspen. You can tell they don't have any system in place and it's absolutely no management in charge the girls try to do what they can! But they are so frustrated with the leaderships they just give up! The place is completely understaffed and overworked they need to hire five people and fired the manager immediately.... this is just a joke! ASPEN customer service is getting worse every year!

Yelp
Surprising that Aspen does not have a great grocery store. We got some essentials here. Expensive. The Clark's market in Snowmass Village is much nicer. However, this market is getting redone in 2016 and hopefully will become much nicer and with a larger variety of items.

Yelp
This is such a great market, especially after their recent beautiful renovation. They're so friendly here, and when we asked if they had an item that they had had in the past... The next time we came in it was always fully stocked. They really are very open to suggestions and I prefer this to any other market in the area. Great selection, friendly people and beautiful store.

Yelp
This place gets 5 stars just for its location, it really couldn't get much better. They lose a star for their selection, and stock. There are some pretty basic items (nothing fancy) that they don't carry, and others that they are always out of stock on.

Yelp
Absolute worst customer service I have ever seen! One of the guys working here was a complete a-hole to my boyfriend because he opened their stupid ice cream display that apparently no customers are supposed to touch. He straight out yelled at my boyfriend, it was the most disgusting treatment towards a customer I have ever seen in my life. You do not treat customers like that. We left right away and as we were leaving he said "everything's on video and you're not welcome back in this store." Thanks buddy, we don't want to come back to you crappy store. One star simply because I have to give at least one to post this review but you deserve zero stars for your absolutely terrible treatment of another human being. You are a disgrace.

Yelp
Went to Clarks Market in Aspen Saturday 1/28/17 at 2:00 p.m. While waiting for my meat to be wrapped at the meat counter I tried a bratwurst sausage sample in their sampling display. I popped the sample in my mouth and bit into an ice cold piece of sausage. Against my better judgement I gagged it down....it was terrible. At 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning, I woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. I spent the next 24 hours between the bathroom and bed. And I know if was the sausage, because my wife and I consumed all the same foods that day with the exception of the sausage. My wife called Clarks Sunday and spoke to the manager. She explained the situation and asked when the samples were put out the prior day. The manager really didn't give a rip and transferred her to the meat department where she was told by person that he hadn't worked the day before and didn't have any information. Any responsible store manager would have investigated the situation and gotten my wife the answer, not passed the buck. And why don't they have operating procedures to log when sample are put out to maintain food safety. Obviously their goal is not consumer health.
