Amazing cheese steaks and fries! A must visit. They have seating outside. There's also a ice cream place near the sitting area.

I stopped in here for a quick bite of lunch as I'm working nearby. Quick it was not. The servers are friendly and the market itself is a cozy little space to grab a sandwich, chips, and a drink, but it was a slow process. They were busy (which always recommends the food to me, I follow the locals and look for a full parking lot), but it's definitely better to call ahead for pick up. It took 30 minutes for a cheese steak sub and fries, the cheese steak was good, if a little small. Not a huge portion of food, which I like for lunch, price wasn't terrible, considering, just a very long wait.

Two words: Pupusas delivery! I came across Clarksburg Market when I was craving pupusas one day and it just hit the spot! Since then, I've tried their Philly cheesesteaks and their other subs -- all of which have been pretty good. Delivery was faster than expected and the food was still fresh when it arrived. I'd recommend this local gem to anyone looking for a quick and filling bite to eat!

Well deserved 5 stars. Needed to find a place to grab dinner on the way home from my son's soccer practice and decided to swing by here since it was on our route home. As soon as we stepped out of the car, my son says "Oh, it smells good!". The smell reminded of the greasy spoons I used to frequent as a child, so it definitely brought some nostalgic feels. As soon as you walk in, the smell of grease and fatty goodness hits you! Menu isn't extensive, which I prefer for a joint like this, so choices were quick and easy, and prices fair. Ordered a cheeeseburger, reuben, large fries, and onion rings. Cheeseburger was bigger than my 8 yo's hand with a thick, juicy patty. Reuben was packed with meat and, to be honest, one of the best I've had...and greasy. lol Fries and onion rings perfectly fried and seasoned, with the onions being nice and soft. Oh, and we grabbed lychee and guava drinks to quench our thirst. Will we be back here? Absolutely. Would we recommend this place? 100%

I've come to love the cheesesteaks, subs and quick beer pickup. The outside renovations are nice. There are several outside eating options. They're friendly. One thing... YOU HAVE TO ORDER EXTRA CHEESE ON THE STEAKS!!!When you remember to do that they're awesome. Otherwise they're kinda bland. They just don't put enough on to begin with. The Italian sub is great also. Breakfast sandwiches are cheap! Get two. Good ice cream stop in the summer. And the fries!!! Get the fries. The beer selection isn't huge but they have fair priced craft 6 packs. (Jailhouse, Peabody, dc brau) And cheap gas.

They sell food but are rude and do not have a bathroom. If you are here for anything but food this place is horrible. The attendant is rude and Jon-helpful. Would not stop here again.

After The MocoShow posted a pic of the steak and cheese, I was craving it and just had to get some. Hubs and I decided to order from here after the delicious looking pic on Instagram. We both ordered steak and cheese with fries. I was able to eat it for lunch and dinner. It was pretty good, but I have had better at other locations. However, it's a good choice for a local spot. The Clarksburg Market is a small convenience store with a gas station on the other side. Inside the market, they had a deli where they sell various foods. They also sell snacks, drinks, including beer and wine. Everyone was pretty nice and it was simple to order over the phone and pick up inside.

Happy that this place opened up, make great food and friendly service, hidden gem in Clarksburg.

torta de asada is soft and flavorful. Ill be coming back here. Most def nice area to move to also.

I was swamped with work this week and didn't have time to grocery shop and cook. Ordered breakfast for delivery. Got pancakes, eggs and turkey bacon and it was all good! Would order from them again! Thank you

Great cheesesteaks , I've had many from here and it's always good , fries too ! One complaint though , the hypocrisy of covid runs deep in this establishment . I was denied bathroom access because of the owners covid worries . I get that , totally cool. Don't give me that BS excuse though when the owner isn't wearing a mask ( saw him grab one off a nail behind a doorway when I walked up to place my order ) or the lady working the register ! Cmon , we are all breathing the same air . I don't want to wear a mask either !

As a previous customer, who was greatly impressed as a previous customer, I was very disappointed this morning when I purchased a breakfast sandwich. I ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese on toast. The toast was chewy and tasted stale!! How is toast chewy?! The small thin piece of scrapple was way over cooked and dry. It literally was like eating a potato chip. The egg was way over cooked as well. This store went through a remodel recently and doesn't even show up on Google maps. The service was way too slow. I do like my food cooked to order, but one cook on a busy morning is not going to cut it..., especially serving subpar breakfast sandwiches. The place was packed with people waiting for their food orders. I'm not sure if ownership changed or what, but if this morning's experience was any indication of this place today..., then I will not be spending my money or my time eat from this place. To be fair, I'm going to attempt to order again from this location soon, because we all have "bad days"! But in the food industry..., a "bad day", and continuous bad reviews can seriously cripple a eating location. Especially in these difficult times. I usually get deep and descriptive with my reviews, but I'm putting this place on notice..., Get it together Clarksburg Market/Deli. -a food reviewer from Clarksburg.

CLOSED. Place is closed for renovations. Spoke to the people in the wine/beer store and was told it would reopen in several months.

Best cheesesteaks in Montgomery county locally owned. Been coming here for years. Got myself the club sandwich today to switch it up and absolutely amazing. The prices are fair and the portions very generous.

If you want one of the best Steak & Cheese subs in the Montgomery County area, look no further. It looks like a hole in the wall but it's great for convenience items, gas, and delicious subs.

Does anybody remember the original Jerry Sub Shop in Wheaton MD? They had the best steak and cheese ever. Well, this store "Clarksburg Groceries Beer Wine & Grille" makes a Steak and Cheese sub that rivals the original Steak and Cheese Sub from there. I ordered it with the works and it was amazing! Blows all the chain store Steak and Cheese subs away.

An acquaintance of the bf's raves about the steak and cheese subs so he suggested we stop in on our way to Damascus. A sign on the counter said the "Today's Special" was the steak and cheese with fries for $8.79. I think that's a little higher than average for a lunch special but whatever. The meal was fine. It was certainly filling and the portions were large but the sub didn't live up to the hype. The steak and cheese was essentially greaseless which isn't necessarily a good thing in terms of taste but on the bright side I didn't get heartburn. The carryout area looked a little dingy. It was walking the thin line between old and dirty. Btw, there's no indoor seating but in warm weather the picnic tables out back look like a nice place to eat.

Steak and cheese my gave you anyway. I don't recommend it unless you want to take both pieces of your sandwich and make one

My husband and I live right around the corner from this deli and tell everyone about it! We tend to order the steak and cheese sub, the egg or chicken salad sandwiches, their breakfast platters and sometimes tuna sandwiches. Overall the food is great, the people are nice and it's a little convenient store easy for us to walk to when we need quick supplies, beer, or want to buy lotto tickets.

Def 5 stars for this place! Best steak and cheese & fries EVER! Services is always great I always call ahead and they have my order ready in minutes, everyone is very nice, breakfast is also delicious and a great convenience store all at the same time, always has good things stocked up!

Awesome steak and cheese! Probably the best i've had in this area. They also have a good collection of beer and wine to go with their carryout. The restaurant itself is located in a small historic grocery story. The building is pretty cool as its probably 200-300 years old.
