The 15 Best Restaurants in San Gabriel, Los Angeles - Eater LA

"Claro’s Italian Market has been providing fancy imported Italian goods to Eastside dwellers since 1948. The market’s deli is especially of note, with made-to-order sandwiches, prepared foods, cold cuts, and desserts for the taking." - Cathy Chaplin

This is a large deli, market with a case of great options of set treats. There were so many options of sauces in jars and refrigerated ones. I bought house made meat sauce and white sauce. The deli had sandwiches and hot food. I'll have to come back and try.

For all your Italian deli needs this Clairo is a institution in the San Gabriel Valley with so many different offerings for the Italian aficionados, deli, a bakery pasta, fresh pasta, olive oil, tuna, sardines, sauces and pasta, salads, desserts, gelato, fresh pizza, frozen pizza, frozen, raviolis, lobster, raviolis, butternut raviolis. I’ve been pretty much anything for Italian and that’s recently been remodeled, and the staff is very friendly and pretty much everything you would like cannolifor dessert, almond nuggets, nuggets, and all kinds of great stuff so don’t miss out there’s definitely a place to visit

My only regret is that I didn’t come to Claro’s sooner. I have lived in the area for 33 years and barley went for the first time last week. I got the Great Grandpa Joe and the Mac Salad. Both delicious. I got my sandwich fast and the workers are in a happy mood and willing to have a conversation with you. Give them a try if you are a sandwich lover.

Claros has been here since the 40s, I've been coming since the early 2000s! Always quick frirndly and fast service. I love the chorizo thin cut. Closed on Wednesdays!

They have the friendliest staff, and the deli meats are the best. They also make the Very Best Sandwiches in town!

Claro's is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the SGV. I ordered the "Great Grandpa Joe" which comes w/ Capocollo, Mortadella, Dry Salame, Provolone Cheese, lettuce, and tomato. If you're in the mood for something with a bit of spice, I definitely recommend ordering the "Spicy Mike".

Unbelievably, I have never visited this Rosemead mainstay until today. I was extremely impressed by the variety of products and services they provide. The sandwiches are exceptional.

Ordered The Ring...great for a bday party...serves 12...thick bread with sesame seeds, fluffy and soft...the meats were Italian cuts of different salami, thinly sliced, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, hint of an Talian dressing....only thing u do have to pay extra $5 to get a serving platter with plastic cover and to have it sliced up...u can have 8 slices or 10, I went with 12 which was still a sizable sandwich. A beautifully-built sandwich...and yummy....see for yourself.
