This place does not follow ADA laws. I had my service dog with me (not ESA) and the owner started yelling at me to take him out. I tried to explain he is my service dog for a disability. I was there to purchase a soda and the guy took it from me and told me he did not want my business or my money. And he didn't care if he was a service dog. I asked him if he was familiar with ADA laws and that he is breaking them. He said he did not care and kicked me out of the store. I wish I had thought to have my phone recording this but I'm sure his security cameras have it. I will be reporting to the Department of Justice.

They sell old food at "Claudia's Cafe". Once I bought a bag of M&MS candy and noticed when I got home that the product was expired. A Snickers bar that I bought here once was losing color when I opened it. Their nacho chips tasted really stale. The two females employees (mother and daughter) both have bad English, too.

Don't go here if you have a choice. They are rude. The blonde girl scrapped nacho sauce onto my plate while preparing it,instead of washing her hands!! Disgusted!!

The Chile relleno is so delicious and a very big stuffed chile for 8.75. Authentic in ways you couldn't imagine. Tbaum

This cafe sales American Spirit cigarets for 12.50, the cheapest in DTLA. They are very nice and speak Spanish.

If I could give no stars, I would. There's two blonde women that work here. I witnessed the older blonde woman, throw a bucket of water, mixed with something soapy on a homeless person that was walking by. The homeless man was clearly having a mental crisis, but was not bothering anybody he was just passing by. What makes it worse, is the fact that the younger woman had initially locked the door as soon as she noticed the homeless person. She unlocked the door for the older woman to come outside and start to throw buckets of water.

Nice helpful lady's they help me always Claudia food is really good also I'm in a wheelchair and they don't discriminate against me

The elderly woman who runs this place was screaming at me about my service animal and refused to serve me. She and her daughter kicked me and my service animal out of the store even after I produced my dogs paperwork. They have no regard for the disabled and They should be shut down!

Do not support this place! Bad business! First time using this store I just walked in off the street. I tried to buy some candy with a 20$ bill owner lady turned me down. Said it's to low of an amount. So I buy a drink also. She had the nerve to look at me and rolled her eyes. I then asked her if this is how she treats everyone in her place of business. She said yes! "I don't give change for parking" then we argued because I didn't need change for parking! Simply wanted something from the store. Even if I did need change I spent 3$ in that hole in the wall store! So I need my change!!! If you want to be judged go head and give that ungrateful lady your money! Not how a business is supposed to be ran at all !

3 delicious sandwiches later, l've thought it's finally time to leave a review. This is one of the few spots worth your money. I usually go with the chorizo and egg sandwich, but went with the Kielbasa this time and it was amazing. I've walked past this place a dozen times and never knew they had such great food.

You would think that people trying to operate a business would be friendly to their customers, but not this one. They are rude and they will only speak spanish, so if you dont speak spanish youre out of luck. the food was ok if youre in a rush and dont mind overpaying but you get so much attitude its not worth it.

Claudia's Cafe has really great hot and cold sandwiches. They are all served club style packed with lots of meat and a slice of bread on the middle. Perfect meat to topping to bread ratio. This is nothing fancy, just a really solid and simple deli.

Take out only try their tuna sandwich on wheat with avocado Mmmm the prices are pretty reasonable too

They had 65 and 85 cent sodas!! They sell other things too for a reasonable price and they also sell ice cream there too. Its convinent if your near broadway and 6th street.

Love this place, great prices for convenience and they have the best tuna sandwich on the block. The family is great I'll keep coming back.
