When Claudio’s first opened, it was the best pizza around the area. Whenever we were in town, we would grab a few slices and then head to the carousel. We have been doing that every summer since. We came back for the season and the first time we went to grab a slice, the pizza was good but the service was questionable. There was an issue with an overcharge of an item and instead of arguing, we grabbed another slice instead of having $ refunded. The second time we visited, it didn’t feel like Claudio’s. We asked how long it would take to have a Sicilian pie made to go and once answer was “we can’t do that now” (the place was empty) and the other person said 1 hour. We just grabbed whatever was at the counter and took it to go. The third time we visited, we took whatever squares were available and some slices. We asked again how long for a whole pie and the answer wasn’t consistent. One of the girls behind the counter was rude and the other was trying to be patient with us and her coworker. I also noticed that the beer as a drink option was gone. Also please take care of the fly problem. I get it’s not

Could’ve give negative star if I could. Last year, Claudio's Pizza was my favorite spot. The staff was very friendly, the space was clean, and the pizza was amazing. However, things have changed drastically, possibly due to new management. The place now looks dirty, the pizza is either dry or soggy, and the staff seem unhappy and unmotivated. Additionally, they now charge an outrageous $4.50 for a small fountain drink. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Claudio's Pizza. It's a far cry from what it used to be. Instead, I suggest visiting 1943 or Brick Oven for a much better experience. It seems like Claudio's management is too focused on making their main restaurants fancy and luxurious, neglecting service and food quality at this location. Avoid this place at all costs—don't waste your time.

After a long drive from NYC, Claudio’s Pizza was an oasis for us. Too tired for a sit-down meal, we arrived around 8:30 PM and grabbed a couple of slices and a Caesar salad. Everything was fresh, tasty, and came out fast. We enjoyed speaking with the friendly manager, who shared some of Claudio’s 150-year history, though we unfortunately didn’t catch her name. Even as they were closing, they didn’t kick us out and allowed us to finish enjoying our food. This is a small, locally owned business staffed by locals, so if you expect the efficiency of a big NYC operation, perhaps you should stay there instead of coming out east

I went there to order a pie and this is what I was served. When I asked for napkins and paper plates (which if it was such a big deal I would’ve paid extra for they threw a stack of plates at me) this is what I was served. I would never come back to this place AWFUL service and presentation of their pizza.

Great venue , the views seal the deal. All staff was very nice. I feel this is the most important part. Menu could be a little broader but everything was perfection!

In 2023, Claudio’s Pizza was a hidden gem that delighted the taste buds of all who visited. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with an aroma of freshly baked dough and rich tomato sauce wafting through the air. The pizza was the star of the show, with a perfect balance of a crispy yet chewy crust, generously layered with gooey mozzarella, and a flavorful, well-seasoned sauce. The toppings were always fresh and plentiful, making each bite a memorable experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience that made you feel like part of the family. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an event worth looking forward to. However, the Claudio’s Pizza of today is a shadow of its former self. The change in management earlier this year seems to have taken a toll. The once cozy and clean restaurant now feels neglected, with less attention to cleanliness and ambiance. The quality of the pizza has noticeably declined. The crust is often either too doughy or overcooked, and the sauce lacks the rich flavor it once had. The cheese doesn’t melt as evenly, and the toppings no longer have that fresh, vibrant quality—they’re often sparse and lackluster. Service has also deteriorated. The staff now seem disinterested and unenthusiastic, resulting in slower service and a less welcoming atmosphere. On multiple visits, orders have been incorrect or delayed significantly. Overall, it’s disheartening to see Claudio’s Pizza lose its charm and quality. What was once a beloved local favorite has become just another forgettable pizza place. I hope the management takes notice and strives to bring back the excellence that made Claudio’s a standout choice. Would like to speak to a owner…

Claudio’s pizza used be pretty good in a pinch. I thought maybe it was an off night but remembered they have new management this year. I guess new managament means bad pizza. It was terrible. The dough didnt even taste like pizza dough: no elasticity and no taste. It was a major disappointment. I write this in hopes they find a way to make good pizza again.

Yelp
Was there after 8pm and was told no more whole pie orders so picked from what was available. Anyway, we only wanted slices for a quick bite. Liked the crust, thin but not soggy. Cheese toppings on the white pizza was kind of dry. Slices are around $4-4.75 each. Tables on one side, counter/stools on the other.

Yelp
Super yummy pizza! They are open until 10pm which is great. Our original game plan was to get Mexican but after the insanely long wait 2 doors down we decided to bring pizza in. We had cheese, pepperoni, a spicy pepperoni and a sausage one. They were all fabulous and yummy. Will def be returning next time we're in town :)

Yelp
Yummy, yummy , yummy I got love in my tummy. This pizza melted in my mouth. Great service from a wonderfully friendly staff. The place is so cute too. We are coming back every day while we're here.

Yelp
Very disappointing. The pizza was great last year. Not this season. It's bland, dry and undercooked. And add insult to injury, expensive. Bring back the pizza maker from 2023 otherwise all is lost. Not worth it.

Yelp
Took at least 45 minutes for the pizza. When I took my first bite it tasted so bad. The staff was not the best. Then later that night I threw up. Don't recommend

Yelp
Just visited this place a few minutes ago, decided to stop in for a quick slice with my boyfriend and we both got Vodka slices. They were honestly just okay, they were a little bit more on the blander side than really flavorful. This is a good place to just stop in quick to get something to hold you over. Would I come back here again? Maybe? Unless I come back and get something else other than pizza.

Yelp
I spent 40 dollars on pizza pies just to get pizza worse than what a homeless man could make. It was so disgusting I got food poisoning.

Yelp
Wow. Better than Brooklyn pizza ! Our go to spot for pizza on the fork ! Hot food is good too.

Patrick C.

Yelp
The pizza tasted worse than the bottom of my shoes. Would not recommended. The service was also very poor.

Yelp
Right on Main Street so convenient Pizza is true NY style and legit. Service is quick and friendly. Pricing is Greenport expensive like everything else.

Susan M.

Yelp
The pizza has gone downhill ever since Omar left!!! Not good anymore! Tastes nothing like it used to. Not going here anymore!!

Zachary B.

Yelp
It was much better last year, the recipe has changed. tastes like a normal nyc slice, nothing special

Sean H.

Yelp
Pizza used to be great. Since their 2024 reopening their pizza tastes nothing like it used to. It's bland and doughy. Slices seem bigger but it just doesn't taste very good. Need to go back to their old recipe. Please. My family was looking forward to their reopening but was very disappointed when we ate it.

Yelp
Very disappointed . We were having people to our boat and I purposely went to order my pizzas and salads 1 hour ahead of needing them , I even paid for them! We went back in a hour for pick up our food to find out they didn't make it and they totally forgot . The girls behind the counter knew they messed up so they asked if we wanted a refund at this point I have people coming in less than 30 minutes. We said no we needed the food. they told us to come back in a half an hour to pick them up. I was very very annoyed!!! There was no offer to bring them to us ( idc if they deliver of not) I did the right thing and went there to not bombard them . Not an offer for a free pie or even a We are so sorry ! truly so disappointed in them and I will not be going there anytime soon again.

Yelp
The Quick: Two vegan pies!! One is covered in vegetables (delicious) and one is covered in plant based cheesey goodness. The Details: I feel pizza is the perfect grab and go meal especially in a town as amazing as Greenport. This spot is perfect for take out (available by the slice or pies, call ahead) but seating is also available if needed. The Damage: Vegan pies are ~ $24

Yelp
First time I've eaten Claudio's Pizza! Definitely will not be a last. I got the pepperoni and ricotta pizza and it was amazing. Also it's one of the best looking pizzas I've ever seen. Wasn't overly greasy even though I got pepperoni, and the crust is amazing. I would recommend this place to anybody

Dorothy W.

Yelp
They changed the recipe so I'm very sorry to say it's not the fantastic pizza they used to have. The women who work there are very friendly and helpful but I'm not going there any more. Tell the owners to bring back the original pizza!!!! Why ruin a good thing?

Yelp
The pizza was honestly delicious, the crust is perfect, and thinner and crunchy. Vodka pizza was unreal!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 would recommend

Timmy L.

Yelp
so terrible, customer service was awful. me and my family were receiving dirty looks throughout our meal. the food was decent but overall absolutely terrible place to go.

Yelp
Delicious slices available for the late night bite. Huge fan of the vodka pizza. Yum!

Yelp
Great addition to greenport! Ordered a margherita pie and was not disappointed. Greta prices too!

Yelp
I've got a bit to say about these folks at Claudio's Pizza, no one knows me and no one ever will. But these people treated me with respect and acknowledged me as a person. They did not judge me nor did they throw me out like a piece of waste. They accepted my coins and gave me the best slice of pizza I've ever had. I'm talking straight up it's not because I'm hungry and homeless, it's just gosh darn really good pizza. And it's amazing that their are people out there that still care. I cannot say enough about those guys. Security Walter is freaking amazing

William W.

Yelp
Food is good. Staff sucks. Asked for a pepperoni pie. They said they don't do pies. Asked for 8 slices and the picture shows how he packed it. Then they charged me $34 for it.

Yelp
Prefer their Sicilian to their regular slice personally, but solid pizza in the center of Greenport.

Yelp
This spot is awesome. So delicious and super cool vibe! 100% recommend for pizza and hero's!

Yelp
We stayed in Greenport for the MLK weekend. Arrived at our airbnb Friday night. We were hungry and tired and just wanted a quick bite before relaxing. Well, I have to tell you, I grew up in Brooklyn and have been living in Long Island for about 6 years now. Claudio's was the best pizza I have had on the island, period!!!! It was delicious, perfect crust, perfect amount of pizza, fast. Thank goodness they were open as a lot of restaurants close in the winter. We also had an arugula salad that was so yummy. Claudio's fit the bill 100%. Thank you

Yelp
Nice slices. Thinner crust with a good chew. Had plain and Margherita. Both excellent. Nice addition to Greenport

Yelp
I feel that this is the BEST pizza on the NoFo. Thanks you Claudio's for making this extraordinary pizzeria. The pizza, garlic knots and salad tonight was amazing!

Michael T.

Yelp
I love - and know - pizza. This place is awesome. The pizza is fantastic as are the other foods (I like the chicken parm hero). Good service as well.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Real NY Pizza, by far the best pizza crust ever. You have to try the pepperoni with hot honey, INCREDIBLE. Awesome gluten free pizza if that's your preference Really good hero's as well. Had the chicken parm and the meatball. Just like Nonas . A must try in Greenport! Shout out to Omar and Emily!

Tegn A.

Yelp
Pizza is awesome and my husband is a pizza snob. The crust is amazing and the service was great, he even had some local beer suggestions that went great with our pizza.

Andrew N.

Yelp
The people in there looked miserable and didn't talk. Then after I payed for my mediocre pizza the cashier tried to short me five dollars. So if you want good pizza go down the street to 1943 Pizza bar.
