Clean Slate Coffee House

Very nice place and people- flavored cold foam any flavor!! I had cold brew and thought it was not very strong as I like but still was a good stop and would go again. Also the nitro cold brew had ice in it which I thought was weird…

Driving past this place is easy to do, it seems unassuming on the outside. Do not make this mistake! If you go in, you will find the cutest place exploding in art and cozy feels. The vibes? Immaculate. The customer service? Amazing. The music? Perfection. And to top it off the lotus drinks are delish. 1000\10!!

I have been to Clean Slate many times. Every time I have stopped in, it has been amazing. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcomed right away. They also have a nice selection of local art on display and for sale, giving the place a unique touch.

Not from the area but I always love trying local coffee shops. This was near Rib Mountain which is where I was hiking. The outside appearance reminded me of an old diner, but the inside was a whole new world. It was very artsy and modern, very cute. Their lattes are good but I also tried a Lotus Plant Energy beverage. The cashier said his favorite was Aquamarine so I tried that. It was DELICIOUS. It reminded me of a blue raspberry jolly rancher. Will come again next time I'm in the area.

We are in town for a wedding and our hotel did not have the best coffee. We were craving some good fresh coffee and found Clean Slate close by. First of all we love supporting local shops no matter where we are! This place was so cute, very fun atmosphere inside. My husband and I both got a coffee which was so rich and delicious that we even bought a bag to take home. We also ordered a bacon and Gouda burrito and a bagel with cream cheese - both very very good. Friendly staff. Wish we lived closer so we could come here all the time!!

Recently saw a list of “Top 10 coffee houses in WI” And was extremely surprised that Clean Slate wasn’t on there. Literally one of the coolest atmospheres of a coffee shop I’ve ever been in. Tons of local art, products, and amazing service. Oh, did I mention the drinks and food are incredible and priced reasonably? The owner, Jen, has also been extremely kind and willing to let our local car group host a weekly Cars & Coffee with fellow car enthusiasts at Clean Slate. Wonderful coffee shop. Stop going to Starbucks! Support quality coffee houses like this one!

one of, if not the best coffee in the area. i always go before or after school and got multiple friends hooked on the coffee here, along with my dad and grandma. i love the frappes because they’re decently priced for a small coffee shop, and i love supporting small businesses. their baked items also always have a good variety and taste amazing. the atmosphere is so fantastic that i cannot believe that it’s in weston. it feels like a nice coffee shop found in a bigger town or vacation spot. the walls and ceiling tiles being painted is one of my favorite things and really brings everything together. the staff is always friendly and i have never had problems here in the multiple years i have gotten coffee here.

I like to look for local shops when I'm in a town I usually don't frequent, so when I saw their sign back in February to support local, I figured it was a bit overdue when I returned in March! I got a matcha latte & it was very tasty! The barista suggested sweetener as it came without, so I went with their recommendation and it was very tasty! Not too sweet but not bland at all!:) The inside is very homey and I adore the local coffee shop vibes it gave off! The storefront also further supports the idea of supporting local artists, as there are other goodies inside made by other locals. Thanks for an easy morning on what would turn out to be a bit of a crazy week that week. I'll definitely return when I'm back in the area. ❤️

This is a prime example of how anyone can get 10 friends to review their business. I was really looking forward to trying this place, and I regretted it at the first sip. It's literally the worst coffee I've ever had. The espresso is unpalatable. Have you ever looked at a cup of coffee that someone's ashed in? Well, I just found out how that tastes. Huge bummer b/c there are very few local coded shops with a drive thru. I had an iced latte. I normally have an Americano, but I thought I'd better play it safe in case the espresso's not that great. I don't think there's any amount of syrup/cream/milk you can add to make this even remotely enjoyable.

Fabulous place! I wish I didn't live so far away! Staff very upbeat,and the decor is fun. Coffee excellent! Will be back.

A wonderful little coffee shop with friendly employees, good lighting and ample seating. Caters to veterans, which is awesome and right by the VA clinic. My 75 year old dad and other fellow vets play sheepshead there on Fridays.

Super cute, family friendly coffee shop. I stopped by this morning to grab coffee with my 1.5 year old and really enjoyed hanging out for a couple hours. We got the chai, a smoothie, and both of their breakfast burritos- everything was delicious. Their pastries are all homemade and delicious every time I try them. It was super busy and the young girls working did a great job of getting everyone's orders out in time. I will definitely be making this my go-to coffee shop

The sho appeared closed when I drove by. I'd call ahead before driving out of your way.

I've been twice now and have been very pleased each time. Coffee is great with plenty of flavor options, and their baked goods and breakfast burritos are fantastic as well. Fast for how fresh everything is, super friendly customer service too. Highly recommend!

By far the best coffee in the Wausau/Schofield area! The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Their breakfast burritos are by far the best I've had in Wisconsin, and of course their cold brew is incredible. They are great about fixing your order if their was a miscommunication or a mistake made. My partner and I love this place and recommend it to everyone who is looking for coffee and a quick and easy breakfast.

Ordered a caramel frappe on my way home to energize. I have 4 kids who I work hard to take care of especially now with homeschooling I need all the energy I can get. Took the workers forever and it was 70% whipped cream! Barely any coffee! I saw a group of teenagers hanging out there even though we are under social distancing they were all talking with and distracting the workers from my order even though I was the only other one there There were inappropriate drawings all over the walls with curse words to boot. Not very family friendly. I'm glad my kids were not with me. I hope that when everything is over the better staff members come back. They can't even handle ONE customer without goofing off. I won't be coming back but it was worth it to give this place a shot to know how bad it was. I'll be sticking to my favorite place condor coffee :)

We stopped in for the first time this morning. It w nice to visit a family friendly coffee shop. We loved that the walls are chalkboards! The kids were entertained while I was able to enjoy my coffee and spend some time online. My son ordered hot chocolate but after drawing his masterpiece, it was still a little warm. When he told me this, I was going to just suggest he wait a little longer for it to cool but the barista overheard and offered to add some milk. Great service, beverages and atmosphere - we will be back!

Amazingly quick service and tasty coffee. Atmosphere was very relaxing. This will definitely be my go to coffee shop in the area. I'd highly recommend anyone on the fence about trying it out do so. Prices are par for other coffee shops.
