I went into the coffee bar next to the Clear Flour bakery because they started selling the Orange Chignon only in the coffee bar and not in the bakery like they used to. I picked up their Jambon Beurre to try and really liked the sandwich. It has a good amount of ham and butter and not too salty. I had also tried the ham and cheese sandwich on a different day. It's smaller than the ham and butter version but has a good amount of ham. However, it was way too salty. At $15, it's not as good a value as the other. I did notice there was a weight difference between the two ham and cheese sandwiches that I bought. I weighed them just because I had the digital scale on the counter. There was about 1.4 oz difference between the 2 sandwiches. Need better quality control? I wish they would continue to sell the Orange Chignon at the bakery as well. This way I don't have to get in 2 lines just to get my regular weekly baked goods.

Google
10/10 for their bakery, but a 6/10 for their coffee. Their coffee wasn’t extraordinarily impressive like so many people recommended it to be, but the bakery was AMAZING. The staff was so so sweet and amazing and gave me recommendations on coffee and bakeries in the area since I’ve been touring and reviewing a bunch in the greater Boston area. I got the golden latte and although it was good, it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. I did love that they had a “pay it forward” area where you could buy someone’s coffee for them! The vibes of this place are definitely unmatched.

Cozy beautiful cafe with a great service. They are serving with nice and welcoming attitude. We visited this place to grab some savories and get coffees. Their savories are super great. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to try great things.

Google
Great food, great service, a cute spot. There are two sides of the store with two separate outdoor entrances. One is the bakery and Brad shop and the other is the coffee shop with sandwiches. I got a chocolate brownie at the bread shop and then a sandwich and coffee at the coffee shop. All was very good! I also dropped half my brownie on the floor because the baggie that was given had a hole in it and one of the staff saw me drop it and immediately brought me another one without charge, this was very kind! My latte was quite good! We'll have to come back so she can try it. Very cute little outdoor area as well! Only downside is that the sandwich was very pricey for what it is.

Google
Great coffee and matcha 🍵. Their homemade syrups are also yummy. I had the vanilla lavender latte iced which was awesome. I wish they had bigger ice cubes :(. Service was fast and efficient and everyone was nice. Definitely recommend stopping by at the pastry shop next door

Google
clear flour is great! I got some form of pistachio croissant and it was possibly the best ive ever had. Walked over to the cafe next door and got a drink and then sat in the window! I came pretty early so I was able to sit but their seating is very limited- but it was the perfect place to go to solo. Only complaint is that I wish they had dine in cups but that was a small blip in my overall lovely experience

Google
Hands down the best Iced Latte in Boston! The coffee was strong while still being adequately sweet and with the appropriate amount of milk. I loved it! Can definitely see myself going here multiple times!

Google
Nice Neighbourhood coffee shop, seems like they are from German and they use good milk as you can see. It’s not bad!

Yelp
You know when you walk into a coffee shop, and you just trust them? That is what I felt when I stopped at Clear Flour for a Sunday coffee run. I will admit, I am typically an annoying orderer--I have worked at coffee shops so my taste has become specific. I usually ask for less milk, light syrup... but here I just trusted, and my iced maple latte was SO GOOD! I am planning to return. The ambiance is cute, definitely not a place to sit and hang out for long as it is small with very little seating, but they seemed to keep the drinks moving--love the quick service!

Yelp
ROSEMARY MATCHA!! That's all i have to say about this spot. One of the most incredible drinks I've had all year, and that's high praise coming from someone who has a matcha daily. It was creamy, packed with distinct flavor, and meshed perfectly with the earthy matcha base. An amazing balance of sweet, herby, umami flavors. This cafe can't be missed. Connected to one of Boston's most loved neighborhood bakeries, this place is a standout spot in and of itself, they have a vast menu of unique and seasonal drinks you can't find elsewhere, crafted to careful perfection. It's a great option to grab a drink as you wait in line for the bakery or just come to and enjoy on its own! The service is fast and helpful (I unfortunately got there right at closing, but they were more than happy to make me a drink anyway)! This cafe is brightened not just by the lovely people that run it, but also by the lively and welcoming atmosphere, that offers energy in the form of both drinks and vibes. Though it's pricey, you're truly paying for more than just a great drink, and it's worth every penny!

Yelp
was super excited to try the clear four coffee bar! The menu is simple and offers a few fun seasonal drinks as well. I had the seasonal caramel apple latte. I enjoyed it! I found the flavoring to be very subtle, but I did like that it didn't seem very artificial and sugary. The coffee flavor was very nice. Came here on the weekend and unsurprisingly it was busy and packed in the small space! There were also some premade sandwiches and little candies available for purchase. Was able to order immediately and waited about 15 minutes for our coffees. The servers were super friendly and informative about wait time.

Yelp
I got a maple latte and also tried a sip of a vanilla latte (both hot) and they were SO GOOD! The drinks had the perfect balance of sweetness that didn't overpower the coffee and were the perfect sippable temperature. I went on a Sunday morning and while they were pretty busy inside I got the drinks within 5 mins! Will be returning

Yelp
We've been to the bakery before and decided to check their coffee out before waiting in line next door. The decor is adorable with some other niche items like tinned fish, canned drinks, etc available to buy. The strawberry matcha and rose mocha latte (limited time items) were delicious but pricier than comparable locations (spent nearly $17 on two drinks). They also had some sandwiches available that we did not get a chance to try. Seating is very limited and not the most comfortable with metal stools that swivel. Only 5 seats in the store with small ledges to look out the window. Not somewhere you grab a coffee and settle in to do work, but good to check out if you are already going to the bakery.

Yelp
Solid new coffee place from the owners of the wonderful bakery next door. They have a marzocca machine and use / carry Tiny Arms coffee. Really enjoyed the cortado, and the mocha was good. Super friendly service, and nice touch with the coffee art! It's also way less busy than the famous bakery (though I'm glad to see more and more people visiting), so you can get some light sandwiches that use their bread and also some dips (incl muhamarra and hummus) if you want something quick. Glad to have this addition to the area!

Yelp
Nice coffee spot and good to grab as you wait for clear flour. The earl grey I got was pretty decent.

Yelp
Great bread, pastries, coffee. Do beware on side streets in am the town is quick to ticket. I managed to end up in a "no parking 8-10 am" area this am. I bet the town makes a lot of $$$ waiting for unsuspecting folks to make this error. Why is there even a no parking 8-10 am part of this street? Lame! Ripping people off for the town's coffers!!

Yelp
This coffee bar is a nice way to grab a fun drink after splurging on pastries. There isn't seating, so don't plan on bringing your laptop or a book, but there are spots by the window you can stand at if you're into that. I got an iced chai latte with oat milk. It was good, but it was served in a paper cup that didn't fit the lids you can use a straw with, which confused me. I ended up waiting til I got home so I could drink it with a straw. I probably wouldn't come back unless I'm specifically going to the bakery next door and also want a drink.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, and can combine with the pastries/breads from next door. Highly recommended spot in this neighborhood.

Yelp
Delicious cafe attached to an exceptional bakery! Not much seating but had cute vibes and some adorable food/kitchen items for sale. Maple latte was amazing! Also the baristas working there were so kind.

Yelp
I came here on a Friday morning to grab coffee with a friend. The inside is small, but there are a few bar stools. I had an espresso tonic, which was delicious. The staff were so nice, and the with the pastry shop nextdoor, what more can you ask for?

Yelp
clear flour encompasses what i love in an independently owned coffee shop: giving back to the community and creating a beautiful third space. i love how clear flour has a built in "pay it forward" system (to use, go by the lids/honey station on the right and choose a pre-paid drink card, and bring it to the cashier!). it really feels community orientated and the baristas are wonderful! they have limited seating inside, so i would recommend taking to go or sitting outside in the area shared by the bakery!

Yelp
Super cute, small space. Very friendly staff and more importantly GREAT coffee! I will be returning!

Yelp
So glad my favorite local bakery now has an awesome coffee spot attached! This was sorely needed in this area, closest thing is a cafe Nero. Best chai I have had and friendly service

Yelp
Barista gaslit me into believing that she used oat milk instead of whole milk for my drink. I was right across the counter and I saw her use whole milk with my own two eyes!!! When I asked her to remake the drink after tasting and confirming that it is whole milk, she acted like I was being delusional. She rudely shoved a newly made oat drink on the counter. That new drink WAS made with oat milk thankfully. I am lactose intolerant and I also have taste buds to know what type of milk I'm drinking. I've also been a barista and I understand that mistakes can happen - but please stop treating your customers like idiots. Horrible horrible service. If you want to be treated as a subhuman every time you walk in the door then you've found your place!!

Eli T.

Yelp
The most rude staff ever. Really seems that serving you is the last thing they want to do. It's a shame as the coffee is good

Anna P.

Yelp
Great and friendly service, great chai (I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't speak to that, but from friends I've heard it's great), just no seating and quite expensive. But I come back again and again for that vanilla chai.

Katie B.

Yelp
Coffee was beautiful (nice latte art!), service was great, and they have some tasty looking sandwiches. I was kind of creeped out that they had a bunch of sandwiches sitting on the counter, wrapped and ready for sale at room temp. The sandwiches have temp sensitive ingredients like mayo and smoked salmon... for food safety sake, I'd feel more comfortable if they were stored in a fridge. (I know they can be at room temp for a few hours, but I'd rather not chance it!)

Yelp
Hands down one of the best mochas I've had in boston - a bit on the sweet side but for a new coffee spot next to an amazing bakery it can't be beat!
