This hidden gem off the main strip is beautiful and has such a great vibe! The man behind the bar creates beautiful art pieces out of the corks from the bottle of wine. The food was exceptional and tasted so fresh. A must visit in Clearwater!

Google
Stumbled upon this little gem on the beach. Decor is beautiful and service is friendly. Everything is light and fresh. Many types of foods and all are yummy. Chorizo pizza was unique and delicious. Nachos and tacos are fresh and flavorful. Sangria, as advertised, is definitely best on the beach. Must go back and try other dishes! And there are like a million wines to chose from.

Google
Great wine bar & bistro! Excellent selection of wine & beer. We love their thin crust pizzas & great tacos, queso, guacamole etc..stop in & say hi to Kristi and Noe! We'll definitely be back!

Google
Used to visit this place before we moved from the area and they were on the other side of the building. It’s still just as good and the 2-for-1 sangria can’t be beat

Been wanting to come here for a few weeks and finally made it this afternoon. Pelican Plaza multi-level parking lot is right there and is reasonably priced. If you've ever been to Clearwater Beach you appreciate not having to stress over finding a place to park. The Wine Bar and Bistro has a pretty extensive wine list, craft beers, and eclectic menu; Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean. I started with a Chilean chardonnay that was refreshing and not too dry or sweet. The baked potato soup and jalapeno cornbread were perfect together. The soup just the right amount of creamy and the cornbread moist and not spicy (for those who may not be daring enough to try anything jalapeno). My main dish was the Chipotle Shrimp Tacos. Everything is fresh and light; soft corn tortillas with fresh cilantro and avocado alongside the chipotle shrimp, accompanied by saffron rice and black beans. I Loved everything! Want to go back to try one of the flatbreads, salads, thin crust pizzas or pasta dishes. There are a few dessert items but I just couldn't do it on this visit. The decor is light and airy and part coastal. There are about a dozen barstools, several tables inside and some sidewalk tables, and a couple of TVs by the bar. Check it out!

I live on the beach. This is my fav restaurant here. The food is awesome, and they have fantastic wines by the glass. Best wine list outside St Pete.

Google
Great happy hour. 2 for 1 sangria Excellent cheese board. Don't understand why they don't have business.

Google
Loud Mexican music!! In a wine bar?? Once we got the attention of the bartender we ordered a glass of wine, which was fine. We ordered an appetizer which was microwaved and supposed to be browned on top so not good. After that, we were still going to have another glass of wine and possibly dinner, but the bartender was behind the bar with his back to us eating having a glass of wine and on his phone. I could go on, but I won’t and we left.

Yelp
One of our favorite regular stops on the beach. The food is great, the drinks are excellent and the staff is the best. Super casual and friendly spot!

Yelp
Tried going here Thursday night but it was full house. So we went Friday night. Had some pasta. Had a good sauce with it. Bread was decent. Just wish we got more of both. Service was spotty but they were swamped which is to be expected. Sat at the bar by where they were making pizza and omg they knocked it out of the park watching them make 30-40 pizzas while we were having dinner. Will be back.

Marissa G.

Yelp
Is this place a front? Opens at 4, walked in at 5, no patrons, the guy at the bar looks confused that we've shown up. Guy in the back seems like he's annoyed that he may have to start cooking. Or microwaving, based on the beeps... No greeting once we sat down, no one took a drink order or even brought water or silverware. We gave up and walked out. Won't try that again.

Yelp
We (my husband and I) were looking for a nice place to have dinner and some wine. I looked online and found this place. It had a rating above 4 stars so we decided to try it. It was disappointing. We had the Brandied Shrimp as an appetizer, which was ok. Wine selection was also just ok. We wanted to get a bottle of wine with dinner as we usually do. They advertised that they had a wine tasting from 6 to 7:30 so I thought it would be a great idea to sample some of the wines to help me pick a bottle. The service was not great. They put the wine samples in little plastic cups that looked like shot glasses (usually at a wine bar they use wine glasses). They also poured some of the samples in the same little cup. I didn't say anything of course but this is not what I would expect from a wine bar. I asked to sample one of the wines that they sell by the glass but they didn't have an open bottle, you could tell the lady didn't really want to open a new one for me to taste it. We ended up buying a bottle thinking we would have dinner but we actually decided to leave. We are usually pretty laid back but we just felt like the ambiance was off.

Yelp
worst pizza I've ever had, if you can even call it pizza. Looked more like a tortilla than a pizza crust. Random toppings, almost not edible.

Mariah C.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant on the beach! Incredible food and Noe's service is second to none. Their Margherita pizza is truly one of the best I've ever had. Just off the beaten path but don't miss this spot!

Yelp
All around great experience!! Cheap food, amazing quality & portion, good & decently fast service, very nice & clean atmosphere - felt homey and casual for a meal after the beach. Came for dinner at 5:30 pm on Saturday, only ones there until we left. Food was delicious! We got the shrimp tacos, pasta and quesadilla and all 3 dishes were delicious. Really hit the spot after a day at the beach. The pasta also came with a salad and bread so it was a really good serving size. Recommend to anyone in the area!

Yelp
Cute and casual wine bar! They offer a Sangria and Tacos special on Tuesdays and sangria is perfect for those who enjoy the drink without a plethora of fruit in the glass, just refreshing juice and ice. Noe helped us out and we enjoyed watching him work on a future art installation for the bar. Their spicy chili oil tacos were OUTSTANDING, I asked about the spice factor, and was reassured it was flavor over flame, just my kind of dish. All the stars, will come back!

Yelp
Service with a smile!!! Amazing and fun atmosphere with an eclectic array of Mediterranean feel meets Clearwater beach! And at the risk of sounding redundant...service with a smile! They are actually happy you're there and pleased to make sure your dining experience is top notch.

Yelp
Fresh made to order, excellent wine pairing, interactive service makes for a wonderful dinner.

Yelp
This place is delicious! They have a variety of meals. My husband had the burrito and I had the Mexican bowl, both were amazing. We also had sangrias which were also very good! Definitely will be back. We added dessert! It was awesome too!

Yelp
I have not written a yelp review in many years. It had started feeling like many of the reviews were fake and unreliable. I decided to go ahead and try this place based on several yelp reviews. What a mistake! Worst meal I've had in a very long time. The thin crust pizza was more like a tortilla crispy around the edges and soggy in the middle. I have no idea how you manage to do that. When there were not very many toppings on it. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and it tasted like someone had purchased a generic Smokey barbecue sauce from a grocery store and dumped a little bit of sugar and water into it to thin it out and then mixed it with the shrimp. Again disgusting. The house salad was decent. The greens were fresh and didn't disappoint. The spaghetti noodles with a meat sauce was watery and flavorless. Meh!! Is all I can say about the service. The music was super loud and it was very hard to hear the server speak.

Yelp
I don't have enough words to describe just how amazing Kristi and Noe are. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner there. We were looking for something different. We wanted casual, fun, bright and, Florida but not touristy or tacky. This place hit all the requirements. The vibe is awesome. We had the entire place to ourselves and the set up allowed our guests to socialize and mingle. Everyone got to talk to everyone!! Kristi essentially arranged everything based on a couple of emails and a phone call. I was overwhelmed with wedding prep and was unable to even meet with her prior to the event. When we showed up everything was perfect. Absolutely PERFECT!! She even created a souvenir menu for us!! We pre-arranged a wine list and menu. The house wines we DELISH and the Rose, French and dry! The wine and beer flowed like water and we were treated to the food of the gods!! The food was all fresh and delicious with a contemporary spin on flavors. The turkey and brie doughnut home sliders (yes, seriously) are out of the world. Our guests are still talking about them. The crostini's unbelievable - white bean & rosemary, roasted mushroom and red pepper peach. I think I saw a couple of folks actually lick their fingers!! Shrimp and chicken tacos and gourmet pizzas rounded out the menu. Everyone was stuffed and happy When we received the bill, we were shocked at just how reasonable it was...... did I mention the wine flowed like water? We will be definitely be back!! But shhhhh..... don't tell anyone because this place may be Clearwater Beach's best kept secret!

Yelp
I was anxious for my mom and I to stop in on our girls trip from the rave reviews. It was the perfect spot to get out of the sun for an hour for a drink and a lite bite to eat. Great value and specials in a nice atmosphere, well set bar with TVs. We were only one of two tables there as we went around 2/3pm on a Saturday. Would be good for large groups as the tables are spacious or for a couple sitting at the bar. I would definably stop in again next visit to Clearwater!

Yelp
Every time we come to Clearwater this is one of the restaurants we love to come to. Today was our first time back in a few years & our first time being at their new location. As always we were not disappointed. I had the chicken verde which was DELICIOUS, & everyone else was just as pleased with their food. As good as the food are the prices. Being a restaurant on the beach you'd think the prices would be outrageous but everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. The service is exceptional!!!

Nancy B.

Yelp
We had dinner there tonight and it was fantastic! The owner was nice and helpful. I had wild mushroom tacos and husband had shrimp tacos, spicy. Rice and black beans were yummy! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!! $$ Thin pizza looks amazing! Looking forward to going back!

Kyle K.

Yelp
Excellent staff and service. It is one block off the main strip. Comprehensive menu and solid wine selection. Great value for the price. Nice atmosphere.

Yelp
Unbelievable visit to this little gem. The 6 of us had an amazing experience and we will be back. Our experience started with a wine tasting with the owner Kristie. She is amazing, passionate, knowledgeable and one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Do NOT miss an opportunity to visit this establishment. We may actually return tomorrow for Sangria Saturday. Can't wait. The place is so very good that we went back again today for Sangria Saturday. Absolutely amazing red sangria. Slightly better than Columbia. We will be back in January and October. Worth the visit as Noe and Javier will take great care of you. Enjoy.

Yelp
Thursday June 8th 23. Walked .5 miles from our hotel to go to this place. We arrived at 8:40 but the door was locked. Closes at 9:00pm. People seated at the bar, staff member behind the bar providing service. He made eye contact with us. He raised his hands as to say "Oh well". Disappointed. Not recommended.

Penny M.

Yelp
This is hands down the best food on Clearwater Beach - a real gem!! From their super thin crust pizzas to their pastas to their enchiladas etc etc. Everything is incredibly good and such amazing value! I can say with my hand on my heart that in over 5 years of regular visits I have not had a single bad experience. There's always a friendly greeting from Kristi or Noe - and bonus wine tastings most Fridays!! Their wine list is great! This is definitely one of my "happy places"!!!

Di J.

Yelp
I like to support small non chain business. if you're looking for a wine bar this is not it. Not sure how long this business will be around. Ordered the flat bread pizza only to find out it was sparse toppings on a flour tortilla, the "pizza" was undercooked, had frozen pizza that was way better. sat at the bar, which only ruined the experience even more, looked at dishes and pot and pans stacked on the floor. The music was loud and the tv had a station showing women getting liposuction! Could not wait to leave.

Yelp
Excellent antipasti platter! Lots of good French, Italian and American wines. Prices for all budgets. Friendly, laid back and feels less touristy than the main strip in town.
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
This place is great. Everyone was so friendly and they gave me samples of wine to try. The antipasto tray was excellent. Great selection of wines and my husband enjoyed the beer flight. Highly recommend!! Thank you Clearwater Wine Bar and Bistro!!

Tory K.

Yelp
Such a cute place with great drinks! Well decorated and great menu. You can tell owner really cares. Friendly staff. Great happy hour and specials! Indoor and outdoor seating. Support local! Will definitely be back

Yelp
Great new location! Food is excellent and fresh and reasonably priced for the beach. The wines are amazing and, so far this year, it is half price on Wednesdays on bottles u see $100, which is when we usually go. I love the Burrito bowl. I get it with sweet potato instead of chicken or ground beef. Roberto gets the sweet potato burritos. The pizzas are made on tortillas so they are not heavy, but delicious. You will not leave stuffed but the prices reflect the food quantity. We usually get a pizza or chips and quest for an appetizer and an entree. We never leave hungry.
google avatar

Shay H.

Yelp
Amazing food! Cheese plate is to die for and I have no idea how they make any money on it! The brandied shrimp had us fighting for the last piece. The beef in the Mexican burrito was high quality and delicious. They also have a great wine selection but beer and cocktails as well. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Stopped in Easter weekend. This place is one block west of the beach. Some might say that's a detriment, but I think it's divine: nice and quiet on a Saturday afternoon. But hopefully it doesn't stay this way, for their sake. VERY impressive wine list. They have some seriously nice selections. Plenty of craft beer too, if you prefer that. We had light bites, goat cheese & marinara with rosemary focaccia and soup of the day - black bean sweet potato. Everything, wine & food, suited my finicky palate.

Annemarie K.

Yelp
Had Dinner there on Wednesday. Hidden gem. Food was so good. Had the shrimp tacos, unbelievable flavors.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. The staff makes you feel like family, the wine and bubbles are top notch and the food is awesome. The vibe is great whether you're visiting or a local. It's always my first stop when I'm in Clearwater. Whatever they do, it's done well and with a lot of heart. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I've attempted to visit this establishment no fewer than three times spaced out over two years (it's a bit of a drive from our neighborhood in IRB). The hours sign right by the door indicates they should be open until 10pm tonight... it's 8:30pm right now and they are closed! I have no idea how good the place is... I suggest you call before driving here to make sure they will be open when you arrive. I will not consider trying again... three strikes and you're out in my mind. Finally made it to this place after calling to be sure they would be open. We only lasted five minutes before bailing. They claim 60 wines by the glass... opened to the Cabernet section to only find three available. Two of those were ones that we have all the time at our regular wine bar (Bella Vino)... but the prices were crazy. What would be $15-16 at our normal place was closer to $35 (same 6oz pour... we asked) same with the second one we're used to. Hess and Chateau Montelena. The bartender claimed they must be different types, so I asked to see the bottle and it was exactly what I'm used to. We really wanted to like this place since we love wine bars, but will never return.
google avatar

Joann B.

Yelp
We got here at 5 on a weekday and were the only ones there. I was really looking forward to trying some different wines, but no wine flights. I thought that was odd for a wine bar, but anywho. We were killing some time before meeting up with friends, so we got two glasses of whites and split their nachos. The wine was unremarkable, but it was refreshing enough for a hot day out. The chipotle chicken nachos were good, but I thought the chipotle sauce was a little too sweet for me and overpowered the nachos a little bit. There were only two guys manning the bistro when we arrived. They were amicable, not overly welcoming or chatty - they let us kick back and were unobtrusive. I guess our first visit was limited and our experience seemed stunted, especially given the great reviews; they might warrant a second try.

Shad M.

Yelp
This place is a great off the path wine bar and bistro and tap beers. Great pricing, wine is good food is great. A nice relaxed place to eat and drink
google avatar

Charlie S.

Yelp
Overall really liked this place. The food portions were the perfect amount, the prices very reasonable, and the options had a nice twist to some traditional options with great flavor. The burrito bowl and tacos were both excellent and the homemade salsa was delicious. They have several different wines to chose from as well as draft beers. We did the local beer sampler all of which would definitely order again. Another great find through the help of the help community.
google avatar

Mita T.

Yelp
As a vegetarian, it's always hard to find a veggie/vegan friendly restaurant especially along the beach. I came across this wine bar and bistro and fell in love. Large selection of wine and the food is AMAZING! Must try!!
google avatar

Sierra T.

Yelp
All I'm saying is READ THE NOT RECOMMENDED REVIEWS because they are all very positive which makes me think this place has a vicious competitor. I don't really know who decides what is recommended and what is not, but it just seems sketchy and not something a restaurant or customer would downvote.
google avatar

Tracy E.

Yelp
This was a great little place of the main drag. Prices were extremely reasonable-especially during happy hour and the lunch time special. More importantly the food was outstanding. We went back 3 Times in three days. One night they had homemade pumpkin soup that was delicious. One night a special dinner with chicken with Oaxaca mole was fabulous. They have wonderful sangria. The thin crust pizza is very thin-almost cracker crisp thin. The staff was very friendly... honestly can't say enough about this little piece of heaven!
google avatar

Jamie K.

Yelp
Friendliest staff on the beach! BOGO happy hour Great food with a Mexican flair. The pizza does not disappoint - thin crispy crust with a selection of toppings
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
We've been coming to Clearwater Wine Bar & Bistro for a few years now. It's our absolute favorite restaurant on the beach. The food is shockingly good for beach and not just another fish shop. If you're looking for the best Italian and Mexican food (and sangria) this is the place for you. The staff is amazing too. Don't miss this spot!

J O.

Yelp
Would have stayed for drinks if they would have let me Use the restroom. I'm in hospitality management and honestly not a good way to attract new customers! I could see if it was someone on the streets but really? Won't recommend this place! Thanks next establishment next door for making me feel more like a customer then a person on the street.
google avatar

Ellan M.

Yelp
EXCELLENT!!! Originally on Mandalay Avenue on Clearwater Beach. Now it's on a back street. Go find it. It is well worth it! The selection of wines and beers is outstanding. The food seems home cooked and such a variety. We had a party of five and everyone was pleased. We started with the salsa trio and moved to the cheese Antipasto plate. Salads burritos and a rice bowl. The kids had spaghetti. And the pizza is out of this world. Great variety. High praises from everyone. Highly recommended.

Steven S.

Yelp
The arugula pizza is amazing. First time at new location and it is worth finding, Love this place and they have great wine.

Rachel K.

Yelp
This place was fantastic! The service was great, food was fresh, and drinks were tasty and affordable. I'll go back to this place every time I go to Clearwater.

Tracy F.

Yelp
Fabulous hidden gem in Clearwater. Great food and wines. Definitely will be back! The Turkey and Brie Donut Hole Sliders and Prosciitto, Fig and Goat Cheese thin crust pizza are wonderful!

Yelp
This place was ideal for dinner with my wife. I have to admit at first we walked in and peeked at this little storefront in the plaza filled with beef jerky 'outlets and numerous other restaurants and we walked back out and reconsidered our options on the sidewalk. We ultimately decided to give it a try. Very glad we did. Great wine selection and a nice (though not large) assortment of beers on draft. Recommend the salsa trio - the tomatillo salsa was particular memorable. Salad was outstanding with perfect greens, nicely aged Parmesan, and perhaps a Rosemary infused oil and vinegar dressing. My wife's had the tomato herb shrimp and artichoke pasta and I had the chipotle shrimp tacos. Both were outstanding with perfect preparations and presentation. A cozy dining area. It felt like we were at a friends place. Not sure how well they could handle a group of more than four, but I will definitely return to this little gem with my group of four or date night with my wife the next time I am in Clearwater.
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
The best restaurant in Clearwater! Great wine (so many options), happy hour specials (5-7), and an outstanding menu (Mexican and Mediterranean dishes). We had great service. This is the perfect, cozy atmosphere to enjoy drinks and a delicious meal. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Was looking for good food, but nothing too touristy while wandering the beach, and found this place courtesy of other users on Yelp. It was a nice, warm evening when I arrived, so I opted to sit outside. There were plenty of seats inside, but I wanted to enjoy the pleasant weather. Of note: there seemed to be a cigar smoking area in the vicinity, so I smelled the occasional waft of cigar smoke. Just a warning to those that might be sensitive. I ordered the brandied shrimp as an appetizer, and it certainly lived up to the name. Lots of shrimp and strong brandy flavoring! For entrée, I ordered the burrito bowl, and while it may sound similar to what you'd get at a chain, the quality of this dish was much better, with fresher ingredients. The portion size was good too. As it is a wine bar, there weren't too many non-alcoholic drink options. Overall, the meal was a good experience, and I would return in the future to try something different!
google avatar

J T.

Yelp
What a nice little surprise! We were looking for something not so touristy & this was it. I had the burrito bowl & the wife had the shrimp tacos. Both being somewhat of a Mexican food experts, we both loved our meals. We sat outside & there was a nice acoustic musician playing that completed the laid back atmosphere. The only complaint.... The burrito bowl cam with chips & when it came out, they only gave me 6 chips? Once those were gone it about a minute I asked for more. The waitress brought out 6 more chips?! 6 chips? Overall....we'll be back the next time we are in town!!

Yelp
I appreciate the small plate choices. I am a fan of not wasting food at all. Everything I have tried is absolutely delicious. I love their wine tastings you can decide what you want to pare with your small plate or meal. I met the owner during the wine tasting and she is very knowledgeable about the wines she stocks/chooses.

Yelp
Absolutely awesome! The Salmon Crostini and the Mexican Burrito Bowl were so fresh and tasted amazing. The Burrito Bowl was served on cilantro-infused saffron rice and it tasted just as wonderful as it sounds. My boyfriend had the Margherita Pizza, which was light, fresh and excellent as well. This is an almost hidden gem on the main drag in Clearwater Beach and is a must for anyone looking for a fresh meal with fabulous flavor. The service was by the owners, I believe, and they were friendly and our food was served promptly and beautifully arranged. Tasted even better than it looked! Awesome wine selection, and great beer selection, too. We had a flight of four draft beers for $7, a great deal. Highly recommend this place!
