Second Location of Cledis Burgers Coming to Bellevue | Eater Nashville

"Named after chef-owner Shane Nasby’s grandfather, this funky Elm Hill Pike burger shack and beer garden has quickly made a name for itself by turning out crispy smash patties from a food truck parked in the beer garden and by offering inventive burger toppings; I’ve also noticed their Old Bay-seasoned wings. The new Bellevue location will carry hits from the Elm Hill spot—like the Billy Berry Smash topped with grilled onions, goat cheese, and a strawberry jalapeno jam—along with sandwiches, wings, and loaded fries, and it adds more seating, an expanded liquor and wine selection, and kitschy ’80s and ’90s toys, action figures, and pop-culture collectibles; it will be open for lunch and dinner at 7648 Hwy 70 S." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

I can’t even describe how cool this place is. First of all, the 80s & 90s theming is off the charts. Second, the bar is fully stocked and so inviting. And on top of all that, Cledis serves killer food. Seriously. I say this with no exaggeration – the burger I had there last night was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. I got the Oklahoma Smash (burger and onion both smashed and seared on a hot griddle). I’m already dreaming of going back for another, but there are so many other delicious offerings. Super creative burgers, sandwiches, wings, milkshakes, beers and ciders on tap – it’ll take me a long time to work through the whole menu. Also – and this is important – the guy who owns the place is local to Bellevue and has raised a family here and gives back to the community. I think that’s pretty awesome these days. If you want to support an affordable, family-oriented, locally-owned, home grown sit-down place, this place is it.

Our entire family recently visited, and it was, in a word, delightful. We each enjoyed a classic American favorite—the burger. One member of our party opted for the gluten-free bun, and I must say, it was met with glowing approval. My daughter selected the Morning Deets burger, and she found it absolutely delightful. The rest of us chose the Cletus burger accompanied by crisp, golden fries. And in a moment that every parent will understand, my son had nearly finished his meal before I even began mine. But it wasn’t just the food that charmed us—it was the experience. The setting evoked a wonderful sense of nostalgia, with playful tributes to the vibrant 1980s and 90s. And perhaps my favorite detail? The retro Tupperware used for condiments—a charming reminder of simpler times. It was, quite simply, an experience worth remembering.

Fun, family friendly atmosphere. Great tap list. The service is great and friendly. Food comes fast. And the burgers are DELICIOUS. Seriously so good. And the fries are amazing to top it off. Can’t recommend highly enough. Love the 80s and 90s themed decorations

These smashburgers are amazing! The have some interesting flavor profiles. We had a hard time deciding they all sounded good. I decided on the Italian stallion. It has marinara, fried cheese sticks and pepperoni on a smashburger. Yummy I would definitely recommend this burger. My husband, got the big smack burger. It was a double patty. And it was huge! Lettuce, cheese , pickles and a special sauce on the burger. He said it was delicious. We also got the loaded trash can fries as a shareable side. It was huge. Tomatoes, onion, cut up smashburger , queso and a sauce over fries. So good it was hard to stop eating. You order at the counter when you walk in. Lots of 80's memorabilia on the walls! It was fun looking at everything on the walls. They do have a bar with some drink specials. It is kind of dark in there. We really enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend and we will be back!

This restaurant is a hit. The blackberry smoke burger was delicious, and the onion rings were crispy. The 80's and 90's themed decor is impressive. I highly recommend trying this place.

I finally went to this place and was expecting great food and drinks and it was good but the service not so good... I had a bartender at the bar serve me and he got my drink fast but I was waiting to order food and he knew I was gonna order food but he took too long to get back to me to order my food... Finally another bartender came over and took my order.... There's like three bartenders at the bar... I ordered my food but only got half my order... The burger i ordered was good but for some reason the burger patty was sliced really thin and the bacon was soggy... I thought that was weird unless they're trying to save money on burger patties or something... The atmosphere of the bar is great and the music from the 80s was awesome... It's an 80s themed bar... I really wanted to give this place a high score but service wasn't that good especially when I was still hungry after I ate cause they forgot my fries... My bill was really cheap and I still gave them a tip... The bartenders were friendly and I'll give this place another chance to redeem themselves... After that no excuses.

My second time at this location. We sat at bar as we were having a beer. We ordered and our burgers were out very quick. She had the Oklahoma (her first time) and loved it, I had the cousin eddy and it was amazing. Wayne was our server at the bar and he was even more amazing, answered all our questions and even gave us some complimentary sauce to take with us. We will definitely be returning. 10 out of 10 spot on!

We have really enjoyed the original Cledis but the new one knocked it out of the park. Went last night for their soft opening as they are still training and it was a wonderful! Cheese sticks are so good and the burger is really one of the best I have ever had. Bartenders are kind and on top of it. Don’t get me started on the awesome 80’s decor. If you are a Gen X like me you will get such a kick out of seeing many items from your childhood. You will NOT be disappointed.
