⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Clem’s Station in the Talmadge neighborhood of San Diego! This cozy bar, eatery, and retail spot is a true gem, and the service is what makes it stand out. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Claudia and Tony, in particular, went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. Claudia’s infectious energy and attentive service made me feel right at home, and Tony’s friendly demeanor and professionalism made our visit comfortable and memorable. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or drinks with friends. As noted on their website, Clem’s Station is open daily from 11 am to 10 pm (until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays), so it’s super convenient for any time of day. The staff’s attention to detail and their ability to create a fun, welcoming vibe make this place a must-visit. Whether you’re grabbing a pizza, sharing their famous nachos, or browsing their unique retail items, you’re guaranteed top-notch service. I can’t wait to come back!

I can see why this is a local Favorite. Staff is great and they have such an array of top shelf drinks. Rotating tap beers and a great food menu. Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. Love it here.

What a great neighborhood bar! A couple of friends and I met up for beers and snacks, and they did not disappoint. Our servers were very kind and attentive. They have a little patio where you can bring your dog. And they have a few reserved spots in the parking lot.

I really enjoyed this spot; it's in the middle of a cute, lovely neighborhood. They have a large selection of beer, spirits, and wine, which is always appreciated. It's also a retail shop. I had a filthy vodka martini; it was perfectly well balanced. I was pleasantly surprised with the stuffed olives. We ordered buffalo hot wings and cheeseburgers. The burger was good & had nice flavor. It came with no condiments; I dipped mine in ranch and bufalo sauce. The fries & tots were well seasoned & a little crispy; very tasty. The wings were really good, too! I would order them again. Our bartender/server was friendly & accommodating. I'll definitely be back whenever I cross back from Mexico. The pizza menu looked so good.

Love this place. Their BBQ chicken pizza is my favorite. It's always the perfect crisp. I love all the toppings in this pizza. Very consistent. And their sweet chili & lemon pepper wings are really good. Packed with flavor. Tried the wagyu sliders but they were NOT a hit. Wasn't flavorful, kinda blain, basic and were so sad the tater tots had no flavor at all. But hella crispy. Atmosphere is cool, tvs and little bar top. The staff is ok. Overall, I'll keep going back.

The burger was good, and the service was amazing. Nice, cozy spot if you want to go and grab a few drinks and watch the game. If it's ever busy and you plan on driving with your friends, parking is SUPER limited.

I’ve been going here for a while now and I’ve become a regular. Customer service has always been top tier and their Pizza… I’ve never had better. Crunchy, soft and flavorful. There’s a reason why I’ve always come back. Good times, good vibes and good food!

Tony is awesome. He always prepares the best, top notch Cadillac Margaritas. Their Philly cheese steak is delicious and is my favorite at this spot. This is my little special place. Keep up the good stuff guys!

The best nachos. Truly, come order them. It's a huge portion so best shared with friends, can't go wrong with the beef or the chicken. Toppings and chips are played and liked high, so there were very few chips that didn't have something on them. Plus there's salsa options. All the staff here is great. Good place to relax, watch a sports game...

We stopped in after the gym to share nachos and margaritas. This tiny bar only has a few seat seats inside and a few seats on the patio, but it is really a beautiful space. There are walls of every alcohol you can imagine, several big screen, TVs, And a really nice neighborhood vibe. Service was great and very friendly. The drinks were also great; this was the best margarita I've ever had! I got it spicy, and it was perfect. The food was okay. The tater tots were really well seasoned, actually, and might've been my favorite part of the meal, which I didn't expect! The wagyu sliders didn't taste wagyu-y (just your usual ground beef flavor) and had a few too many red onions, but I just picked some off. The nachos were a little bland. But honestly, we didn't mind, because the overall atmosphere and vibe was fun and it was just fine for a snack. We will definitely be back to this little neighborhood spot to see if there are some bites on the menu we enjoy more and for margaritas for sure!!

Stumbled upon this little gem in the Talmadge neighborhood and had a lovely week night meal. It has a very cozy and intimate vibe inside and on their outdoor patio (patio is dog-friendly & has heaters). Plenty of draft beer and wine options! For food, we ordered the BLT with tater tots and the Talmadge Pie pizza. The BLT was a solid choice and the tots were crispy and delicious. Wasn't as impressed with the pizza which is why I gave 4-stars, tasted a bit like DiGiorno (forgot to take a picture). The service was excellent! Very helpful and attentive. I can't wait to try this place out again.

Awesome local hideaway in a residential neighborhood where you can watch the game and get some reasonably priced drinks and good eats. I went up and around the hill through a narrow hill road, past some houses, then went up and around the hill again and then there it was, Clem's Station, at a meeting point three roads, wedged between houses and various apartment buildings. Philly Cheese Steak w/ Fries and Tots - Clem's cheese steak feels slightly smaller, like 90% the size of cheese steaks that I have at other places, but it's still filling nonetheless. Buttery, grill toasted bread filled with with a ton of meat, provolone and bell peppers. It was wonderful. If you feel there's too much meat or too dry, you can add some of the orange sauce they provide, but the sandwich is robust and perfectly fine without it too. I asked if the fries or tots were better and my server said, "Both are good. You know you can order a mix and have both?" So what did I do? This fatty here had both. And there was no extra charge! They are both good and they put so much of it on the plate. Whiskey Sour - My whiskey sour was served with a large cube, a fresh lemon peel and they used Four Roses Bourbon as their well whiskey for this which was fine by me. This was well balanced and tasty. I wanted more but I had a long drive ahead of me. Clem's felt like a secret awesome find. Both servers checked on me multiple times, the food came out quickly, they have a lot of TVs and they have a impressive liquor library wall behind the bar. It's too nice and new to be divey but not snooty enough or expensive enough to be hipster. If you live near here, why have you not checked them out yet?

Clem's Station is a local hidden gem with great food, drinks, and an inviting vibe. Living just down the street, we come here often since it's within walking distance, and the service is always fantastic. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, which is ideal because it can get pretty busy inside. The ultimate veggie salad is a favorite (add chicken if that's your thing), and the Clem's spicy chicken sandwich is absolutely delicious. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a relaxed evening out, this spot never disappoints. It's the perfect neighborhood go-to for a consistently great experience.

A local favorite and all this time I didn't know they were hiding a Philly Cheesesteak full of flavor! We normally go here for the super chill vibe, a Packers game, friendly service and a great drink wine, beer and cocktail selection. I would not call it a traditional Philly but it's delicious and definitely for those who want their curiosity satisfied

I've driven by this place several times and thought it was just a "hole in the wall" bar but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered. Interior is really cute and there is a great selection of wines, beers, and spirits. The menu is simple, with appetizers, pizzas and a few desserts. For "bar" food, I gotta say that it's pretty good. I loved the pizza which was loaded with sausage and mushrooms. The staff is very friendly and attentive and a nice patio for more seating. What a hidden gem in the neighborhood of Talmadge.

We love Clem's. An awesome Talmadge neighborhood pub for pizza, sandwiches and awesome beer and cocktails. Get the basket of tater tots and pile on whatever ingredients you like best from their menu. The pizzas are all excellent and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich is awesome. We try to go at least 2-3 times a month.

I am so full from the yummy beer I had, but mostly the Wagyu cheeseburger that I just can't get over! from Clem's Station. WoW!! Cooked to perrrfecTION! I'm too full to eat the other half of that cheeseburger that is sitting, waiting in my fridge, but I cannot stop thinking about how perfect it was / is!!!! Best cheeseburger I have ever had to ever. Omg. The bun, the quality of the cheese, ample lettuce, grilled onions too. The onion rings were perfect, not greasy and this place is generous with portions (just like their sister bar, Clem's Taphouse). I'll definitely be back.

"Let's meet at Clem's!" I was at work and got this message, and as I was driving away from campus, this came in... "The new one on Monroe!" 0-o* So I went down Monroe, and there it was. The former wine bar, which another review stated was "elegant and sophisticated..." yet he failed to mention that some of the people that worked at Homeo and Foolieta were a little racist...but they're gone so YAY for all! GREAT place to grab a drink and catch up with friends or watch a game! They have a full bar, great beers on tap, and some really good wines! I met up with my bestie and we were told it was taco Tuesday, so when at Clem's. I had the shrimp tacos and they were soo good! And they used large shrimp not those little whimpy ones. We were so hungry, we forgot we were going to share because she got the carne ones. We then ordered some really crispy fries! Sooooo good! Of course, I'm a fatty, so I ordered the western bacon burger with cheddar and tater tots. The burger was really good! Came with an onion ring and barbeque sauce...soooooo good! The tots were nice and crispy and stayed that way until I got home! We also realized at the end that they had nachos! Those will have to wait for another visit! Service was great! Tony took great care of us and so did Ben! Can't wait to come back!

Pro: Beer Options!! Multiple screens inside Ramp for ADA access Food is ok/bar food Cocktail options Great customer service! Con: Small inside so can feel cramped Parking! Come here now a few times and I have yet to be dissatisfied. Even from the bar food/apps they offer, they're solid. Not amazing as others try to be, just done right. Beer selection is on a rotation so new beers come in often. Currently offering Rasputin imperial stout from the tap! So much better! Service is great, the bartender(s) scan often. Since I'm ADA, our bartender the previous day even came over to take our order for food & drinks! It's was game 2 of the NLDS(Go Padres!) So there were people inside but they had it under control. I do recommend Clems if you're in the area and need to wet your whistle or try a new Beer! My buddy grabbed one and didn't notice it was a hard seltzer! He liked it! Bon appetito!

I live in Kensington and am a very long time patron of Clem's Bottle House and Clem's Tap Room. We finally got over to Clem's Station and it did not disappoint...loved it. Cool spot, nice outside area and charming bar area. I had the BLT and my husband had the cheeseburger with Impossible Meat. Both were perfect and came with a generous amount of fries / tater tots. I love onion rings so will be trying those on my next trip. All of the Clem's locations have super friendly staff, are locally owned and full of friendly people from Kensington, Talmadge and the surrounding areas. Great to have another cool place so close to home...just wish it was easier to walk to from Kensington.

This place is so heartwarming and comfortable. I've been here about a month now and all I can say is I love it. The food is excellent. They high many different types of wines that you can purchase here. All their walls are covered with wine bottles. The bartenders at really nice too. They have a few TV's here so you can watch sporting events as well. The best thing about this place is it's so close to my home of merely 4 blocks away. I definitely will be coming here a lot.

I absolutely love Clem's either for a quick dinner, a nice happy hour drink, or a longer hang out to watch the game. The food is delicious; I have never had something bad here! I'm a huge fan of the Caesar Salad, mozzarella sticks, and their pizzas. It is bar service so you can order at the bar anything you need. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas. The food comes out quick and hot every time! They also have a great beer, wine, and liquor selection. I love Clem's and come back here often!

I had been wanting to try this place out for a while since I moved to the area and finally came by today, and I'm so glad I did! The bar itself is quite tucked away has a cute patio and a beautiful interior. Their liquor selection is seriously impressive. My fiancé and I came in for happy hour and our drinks were fabulous! Just had basic mixed drinks but April is a fantastic bartender and made them perfectly. We got the chicken tenders to snack on and they were delicious. We will definitely come back to try out more food but will 100% be back because of April! She went above and beyond for us and was a total delight!

This is our go to for all types of activities, dinner, lunch, drinks, pregame. You name it this has it. Great parking, and right off mayor streets and freeways. The food is great. I've had wings, burgers, pizzas, salads wait probably everything in the menu and have enjoyed all of it.

My favorite watering hole in Talmadge. Speak easy of this place... Don't want this place getting too popular like Cafe 21 from Yelp. The minute the word gets out it's impossible to find a seat. Great whisky, beer and tequilas. Food is great. The buffalo chicken pizza is amazing. Service is top notch.

Was looking for a dog friendly place near mission valley. I came across Clems on Yelp. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak and some burgers. We all had different sides, onion rings, tots and fries. Fries by far were better than the other sides. Burgers were good. Philly was really good. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Plan on coming back.

The new Speakeasy is fantastic! The extra room looks empty but with a secret knock on the wall, you get exclusive access to the private tasting menu. Ask a regular about the secret knock. You will not be disappointed!

It truly is filling when an accidental google search leads one to place where one can have a tasteful meal, soothing drinks, enjoy marvelous environment and forget an overwhelming day in the company of friends. The decor was not over the top so it made us feel welcome, and the service was stellar. We expressed that this was our first time visiting and the witness (who was new) suggested menu items that she thought were tasty and that she herself had tried. We also shared that we wanted a refreshing drink that didn't taste like cheap liquor or that would burn our throats with the flavored mixer..of she cackled..but took our comments seriously and brought us the most delicious drinks. As we ate and drank our evening was Complemented with a variety of music assisted in creating an interesting conversation. We liked Everything about this hidden bar and we were all so thankful that we were able to sit, enjoy the moment and not think about our troublesome day!

Our friends live right down the street so we go here often to meet up with them. I guess you could say Clem's is our happy place! Tony is amazing, and has introduced me to some great tequila's and bourbons. For being "bar food" the food here is on point, I absolutely love the tater tots, they are the best in town! The pizzas are also great, as are the burgers! The wine selection here is great, they have a nice selection in every price point from Caymus Cabernet to Justin Cabernet, as well as Cline Old Vine Zin, and Rayburn Russian River Chardonnay (YUMMY!). My only pet peeve is that many of the Chardonnays are not chilled. I realize they have limited fridge space there, but I'm not a fan of the house chardonnay that they usually have chilled and open by the glass. They can fix this by just keeping the Rayburn on their by the glass list. :) I would also like to see some happy hour specials, I'm not going to lie, it's not cheap to drink here, but it's definitely a good time!

I have always frequented Clems tap house in Kensington and now they have a new spot with a full kitchen. They are still working on a full time menu at this time. The have the basics of wings, pizza, salads and a burger at this time. I've had the burger and it was delicious. The location now has a full liquor license if you enjoy something other than beer or wine. Also, they are selling select choice of alcohol to go if that's what you are looking for and they have added multiple televisions if you want to watch sporting event. I'd recommend this place to anyone especially if you are in neighborhood of Talmadage.

Went yesterday for dinner, it's close to us and has outside seating. SENIOR ALERT, the salad was insanely huge, the burger was ample. Lots of beers, i don't drink but baby doll likes her German beer. Off the beaten path, but worth it. ruben

Clem's expansion has impressed and is an exciting addition to the Talmadge neighborhood! While I'll always miss the pickle soup from this location's predecessor (Romeo & Julietta), Clem's has done a wonderful job of kicking things up a notch and they've created a cool space for locals to gather. They have large screen TVs, but it has maintained a low key vibe that makes it a great date night spot! Their extensive tap list will make your head spin and they have a full bar as well. The food is terrific...massive fresh salads, tasty burgers, and possibly the best tots I've ever had!

Wow! Their food and service are Amazing!!! Our server, Brittany, was very helpful in making our menu selections. I had the BLT and tater tots...A LOT OF FOOD!! Very generous portions...honestly enough to share. It was delicious. The bacon was crispy and piled high and they put avocado on it which was an added plus. The tater tots are crispy and crunchy. We also had a BBQ chicken pizza. One of the best we've ever had. We will be back with the doggies. They have an outdoor patio, with heaters, that's perfect for bringing pets. Thanks Brittany and Clem's Station for a super dinner.

Great new spot! Top notch service with a HUGE beer selection. Awesome food. I got the sliders and even the tots that came with them were exceptional! The pizzas look great as well, I'll try those next time. Very cozy and classy decor. Makes it too easy to spend lots of time here. This is going to be a great spot for football season.

Wandered in here on a Tuesday afternoon wanting to grab a drink with friends after work. The place was very small and unassuming from the outside, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at my experience! We got a couple of micheladas with Buenaveza per our server April's recommendation. Side note: she was amazing! So sweet and attentive, and had some excellent suggestions regarding drinks and the menu. I would come back here for her service alone. The drinks were tasty and refreshing. I didn't intend on ordering food but gave in to a western bacon burger with onion rings. Amazing! Good food and great service--will definitely be coming back!

Food is always fresh and delicious. Drinks are always served with a smile. This is a hidden gem that is clean, classy and they take time to know your name. Great rotation of beers on tap. Happy Hour drinks are a good value and taco Tuesday is a must for the two taco and beer special. Great place, highly recommend!

Best waygu beef burgers and fried tater tots.... If you like to eat it's the place to go healthy portions of food and reasonable way priced! Delicious!!!

This place was a great find. Clean and classy little pub, but not snooty in the slightest. Excellent beer list and the wait staff were very friendly and responsive. We didn't eat but what we saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious. Clem's stands out for having the best selection of Belgian beers available for retail purchase of anywhere I've seen in San Diego. It's a bit of a trek for us living in Chula Vista but we'll definitely be making it regularly from now on.

This place opened up around the corner and the onion rings are amazing. It's an underrated takeout spot even tho it's a bar, excellent tots and burgers. They have good sports ball on lots of TVs too

I moved into this neighborhood a few months ago and found this bar. After coming here a few times, Chelsea and Sydney have been nothing short of amazing. More than happy to recommend and I will be a regular moving forward.

Tucked away in Mid-city this is a beautiful bar. Took my boys. Food was great and service.
