Where to Eat Near Mount Rainier National Park | Eater Seattle

"A very serious burger specialist, Cliff Droppers offers salmon burgers, elk burgers, jalapeno burgers, Hawaiian burgers — take your pick, the options are plentiful. The famous Sasquatch burger — two patties, Canadian bacon, grilled onion, Swiss and cheddar, stacked high with lettuce, tomato, and pickles— is a challenge to bite into, but your hike-induced hanger will quickly fade." - Alicia Erickson

Stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. Daughter had the Elk burger and she said it was awesome. They also have the good breaded crispy fries. Yum. Definitely will be back if we get this way again. Great food!! Oh amd sorry if ya'll are Cowboys fans, we were just poking fun, Boomer Nation.

Not a very busy day, so we sat outside with a dog! Pet friendly. The fries were great, with a valid crunch. I got a mushroom burger and it was a battle to keep in once piece but it was good nonetheless.

Stopped here today on my drive to have lunch. I loved the old school atmosphere of this mom's and pops place. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and fries and and I enjoyed it! The service was great, and I would recommend stopping here if you're driving through this town or explori g close by.

Great place to eat with many options especially after a nice hike in the area. Their burgers are a popular option but their elk burgers are the more expensive single patty of the bunch. Well put together, fresh ingredients and some cold beverages to enjoy. The only thing I would suggest is some seasoning on the burgers. We had the regular beef burger and elk burgers and we couldn't tell one from the other and we had elk burgers before across the U.S. and this one felt flat on the flavor department and the patty was somewhat dry. I don't think there are options to ask for a party to be cooked medium but we didn't ask either. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area. The experience was good and I highly recommend this location. We will be back for sure to enjoy more of their menu and drinks.

A nice gem in the heart of the Cascades! I arrived shortly after 2pm and was served right away. My burger and fries were fresh and tasty and I did not have to wait long at all! Definitely one of my better meals during my Cascade adventures and I will look forward to coming back some day.

I love Packwood and every time we come through on adventures we stop and eat at local restaurants. This was our first time eating here. The staff, who I believe were a family owned business, were very friendly and the service was great. The kids had cheese burgers and I got the elk burger. It seemed appropriate considering the location and I hadn’t had elk in a couple years. You won’t be disappointed if you order it. Absolutely delicious. Went great with my first ever Rainier beer, which also seemed appropriate to order. My daughter devoured her burger and exclaimed it was awesome. Cute decor. Love the Sasquatch theme. Prices are higher in the mountains but the atmosphere is so totally worth it.

For Packwood, this is a great eats spot. Little bit on the tourist-y side atmosphere. Basic menu. Great burgers. Be aware of the new menu price changes with cash vs credit prices. Not much of an inconvenience, but it should be noted. Had the Elk burger, tasted great, wasn't dry as expected. Wife had the mushroom burger and gave me two thumbs up when asked. When in town, we'll be back.
