In 2021, I did a treatment for a gummy smile with Maurice, assisted by Benjamin. The result was very bad, my mouth was altered, which disrupted my ability to speak, eat, and drink normally for several months!
It turned out that Botox had been injected in excessive amounts and into an inappropriate muscle (the depressor septi nasi). To try to correct this, I was offered three free sessions of radiofrequency as well as injections to restore the volume of my lips, as my upper lips had contracted as a result.
Three years after this terrible experience, I decided to redo the same treatment with another doctor. This time, the procedure was executed flawlessly: he identified the injection points with a pen, explained which muscle to target and the amount to inject, and used a self-dosing syringe to ensure even distribution at each point. Everything was comfortable and reassuring, and the result was beautiful.
This contrasts sharply with my first experience, which highlights a lack of professionalism.
Unfortunately, I had believed the 5-star reviews and the before/after photos on Instagram!
