We went to Clintonville Farmers Market today. Love it. We purchased salsa, apples, samosas, cookies, and banana bread.

Loved the bounty of beautiful fresh veggies...Of course I spent over my budget. The corn was the freshly picked, the collard greens were so fresh looking and cleaned. Didn't have all the big heavy stems on them...The string beans vibrant and fresh. Instant love affair with the okra. Of course fresh honey and a new syrup I can't wait to try...Oh yeah Will, the peaches...Peach cobbler anyone or perhaps a Peach Bourbon Barbecue Sauce? Will definitely be back.

Love this market. Got great selection of local fresh produce, baked goods, mushrooms, teas and more. The atmosphere is so welcoming and every vendor is more than happy to explain their stall and business. I picked up some small batch oat milk and some homemade cinnamon buns

Google
Oat milk from The Batchery is very tasty. I've only tried the spiced which is close to a chai. 😋

Great market! Local vegetables, meats, eggs, breads. Delicious honey. Live music. Good shops right around it too! Will come back

Google
It was something to do. There were a few unique stalls.

Google
This may be my favorite Farmers Market in Columbus. They have amazing vendors that are reasonably priced. All the produce is fresh! The shoppers that come here are nice and polite. It is a great atmosphere to socialize and find out about new products. A couple of my favorite booths are: Pure Ohio Honey and Tori’s Test Kitchen.

Google
The outdoor market has a great selection but can be very crowded. Expect to wait in line for some of the more limited/desirable items like strawberries and asparagus. Most vendors take card payments and for those that don't, you can use your card to buy tokens from the market organizations booth. Sadly there will be no indoor market this winter and the outdoors' last day of the season was 11/19/22. There is a different indoor market at Worthington Shops with a lot of the same vendors you could check out though.

Yelp
We are spoiled with great summer farmers markets in Columbus. I feel like each of them has kind of a unique "personality." Worthington has lots of vendor variety and is hectic and crazy busy. Dublin has lots of food and craft vendors, but not a lot of veggies/fresh produce. Upper Arlington is very small and tends to have the same vendors every week. Clintonville, for me, strikes the perfect balance of food, fresh produce and community. As a special treat, they sometimes have live music. Spontaneous circle dancing even broke out this morning. Fun! There are typically 4-5 food vendors, lots of fruits/veggies/flowers, all kinds of beautiful baked goods and several coffee vendors. The baked goods seem to sell out quickly, so I suggest an early arrival for the best selection.

Yelp
This is one of the best Farmer's Markets around! I love the variety of produce, flowers, and baked goods available. Start off with a coffee at Global Gallery (protip: if you want drip coffee they usually have an express line set up outside) and stroll through the stalls on High Street. It's also a great opportunity to check out Wild Cat and a few other businesses on the block. It runs late spring through Thanksgiving so make sure you get there while you can!

Yelp
Currently held at the Ohio History Center. This weekend was also the vintage baseball tournament, so the lot was a bit busy. But, plenty of room for both, and we found a parking space right by the market. Lots of vendors, and since it's Labor Day weekend I bet there were more earlier in the season. Plenty of fresh veggies, plus fruit, meat, cheese, flowers, and more. We got fruit and veggies, plus baklava and tamales, and cookies, maybe more I'm forgetting. Reasonable prices. Good stuff. Friendly vendors. Lots of dogs. A busker. Close to home. I rarely make it up early enough for markets, but was glad to get to this one.

Yelp
I had a chance to go to the Clintonville Farmers Market at their (hopefully) temporary location at the Ohio History Center. Not an ideal location but due to COVID-19 they made the most of the hand that they have been dealt due to a global pandemic. To no fault of their own, unfortunately there was a classic car show at the fairgrounds across the street the day that I went and traffic was a headache . That being said, my pup Bowie and I had a wonderful time and picked up some great produce and other food and the vendors were outstanding and it was a great experience. With a lot of the summer left to go I will be back and hopefully the Market will be back on High Street in 2022. So if you get a chance please visit these outstanding vendors and make your way to 17th Avenue this season

Yelp
The Clintonville Farmers Market moved over to the Ohio History Center so they could spread out during COVID, and I have to say I love it. It's so much easier to access! The stake are in the front parking lot, with lots of visitor parking available, and nicely spaced out, too. The produce is great and varies seasonally. They are pet friendly and my pup loves to go sniff shopping totes and try to scan people into petting her and giving her things.

Yelp
This past weekend I was finally able to make it to the Clintonville Farmers Market for the very first time. I love farmers markets and I had heard so many great things about this one in particular. Trust me, to say I was excited is an understatement. I had been waiting all winter for this! I got there at about 9:30 in the morning and when I arrived I first looked for parking. Lucky for me I was able to find a darn good spot pretty easily. There was plenty of parking on the streets of the nearby neighborhoods. Woohoo! I walked across High St. and great smells and wonderful tunes instantly greeted me. On my first walk through I simply observed everything that there was to offer. Amongst the numerous vendors, I discovered some amazingly beautiful flowers, the freshest smelling strawberries ever, tons of fresh fruits and veggies, herbs and plants and everything in between. I also noticed the local JPOP's popsicle cart! These are so tasty folks. You gotta try them! The live music made walking through the market even more enjoyable. That was so cool to see and something I haven't noticed at a lot of other markets I've frequented. I came specifically looking for flowers to use to decorate a for friend's baby shower. I found more than I could have asked for. Each bouquet was roughly sixteen dollars and filled with fabulous and super colorful flowers. These were perfect! Sunny Meadows Flower Farm for the win! Everything about this farmers market was fabulous and I know I'll be back all summer until the winter comes and we pause for a while. This farmers market goes from April to November so there are plenty of opportunities to swing on through. Pro tip - bring your own bags and yes, a lot of the vendors take cards for payment.

Yelp
(Updated for COVID-19, again) Well, the drive-thru market has gone away (much to my lazy ass' disappointment), and now it's a very physically distanced market. It's still in the parking lot of the Ohio History Connection; three long rows of vendors, with considerable spacing between them (although people still seem to bump into each other). Some vendors allow purchases on the spot, but some still are relying mostly on preorders, so it makes the most sense to place your order beforehand on the Clintonville Farmer's Market website, and bring cash and/or plastic if you see something else that you want. Make sure you wear a pair of comfortable shoes, because you'll be walking, a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
For this summer and during COVID times the Clintonville Farmers Market has relocated to the Ohio History Connection (what I call the Ohio Historical Center) north parking lot. There is a tremendous amount of space to have all the vendors set up and yet be spaced out to allow for ample social distancing. The farmers market is every Saturday (April 25th - November 21st) from 9am - noon. Some vendors are pre orders only, while others do on site sales and pre orders. To pre order go to https://clintonvillefarmersmarket.localfoodmarketplace.com/ I personally love this farmers market. I love the options that are available from meats, cheeses, granola, oat milk, charcuterie, honey, baked goods to all the local produce. The options are endless. This summer if you have time on a Saturday, please stop by (right off of 71, north of downtown) and support local.

Yelp
I've been to this farmers market once before last summer. It's my favorite one in the city even though there aren't as many vendors. It's cool to see all the hipsters here and walk into the fun, unique shops around here. Parking is super easy to find as well. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I love the Clintonville Farmers Market- it's amazing that it is moved indoors during the winter!! Make sure to arrive early so there will be a good amount of produce to choose from, the vendors definitely sell out by 11-12. All of the vendors are so nice and excited to tell you about their product. All of the products and produce I've gotten from this farmers market is delicious, and on top of that we're supporting local businesses and farms :)

Yelp
8/24/19 - Stopped in at the Clintonville Farmers Market! First off, was able to find a parking space in the Kroger's lot without any problem. There are many options including some parking in High Street. I have been to this market several times, today there seemed to be more vendors and many more people so it was a great day to go! Flowers, cheese, fresh herbs, breads, coffee, hummus, pickles, pasta, bread and pastries, and of tons of fruits and veggies - just to make some of the things there today! Highly recommend this market, definitely one of my favorites in Columbus!

Yelp
Magnificent experience. I ended up getting 8 ears of sweet corn and dealing with some other very good business owner. Definitely something I want to visit on them continue with occasion

Yelp
Lovely market with lots of farmers and options. Nice open space and spread out. Definitely give it a try.

Yelp
FANTASTIC experience at the Clintonville Farmers' Market today! On Thursday, we ordered our stuff from our favorite booths. We printed our list, then headed to the Ohio History Connection parking lot this morning. Got in line (safely in our car) at 9:15 and pulled out by 9:30... It was so efficient! We pulled in and were directed to the right of the booths (odd on the left), drive past vendors who looked at the order number we had taped to the window. They grabbed our order (already bagged up), and placed it in our open trunk. We had our list and crossed everything off as we went around the circle. At the end, we had missed one. There was a runner before the exit who ran to that booth to grab our missed item. We missed the experience of the regular farmers' market, but were thrilled to be able to support these small businesses! This will be a weekly activity for us!

Yelp
I never leave here empty handed so I have two rules. 1) Make a lap around the market before I buy. 2) Bring cash and don't use a credit card. The first one lets me see if more than one vendor has an item I want and I get to price things in my head to see what fits into my budget. The second one eliminates the temptation to overspend.

Yelp
As others have mentioned, the Clintonville Farmers Market is temporarily in a parking lot at the Ohio History Center. The set up there is pretty nice - it's easy to park and walk right in, and the tents/booths are organized nicely in rows with plentiful walking space in between, so it's a breeze to navigate. There are a lot of great selections, including not only the fresh produce one would hope to find at a farmers market, but also a nice variety of dips, sauces, chips, popsicles, baked goods, and more! We really enjoyed visiting with the vendors and having some nice samples. We ended up with wonderful popsicles from JPOPS, mozzarella cheese from Sweet Grass Dairy, spicy guacamole tubs and taco chips from the Guac Shop, rainbow cookie stuffed chocolate chip cookies and brownies from Angie's Rainbow Cookies, and a beautiful bouquet from Mohican Flower Farm. Despite a quick downpour, it was a great visit, and I would love to visit again - hopefully when there's no big nearby events causing a lot of traffic jams!

Yelp
Such a cute little farmers market. It was a little hard to find parking without having to walk a few minutes but it was worth it. They have a decent amount of vendors but nothing too crazy. The vendors cover all aspects you would typically look for in a farmers market from cheese, meat, bakeries, produce and your local honey. Overall, a solid choice for a quick in and out farmers market.
google avatar

Nijole T.

Yelp
So far my favorite Farmers Market in Columbus, by far the biggest, most diverse and with the best samples! From fruits to veggies, raw and vegan foods, desserts, all bases are covered and loved by me! Some of the prices are very reasonable and make you want to stock up and tote around fresh and local goodies, others you just smile and eat your morsel of brownie while they tell you they want $6 for it, nah thanks I can get a whole rhubarb pie for that money which I did and it was delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
Clean, well run market. Lots of variety in produce, cheese, meat, and honey. It gets going quick so make sure you're there at open!

Yelp
We love this farmer's market! You can literally get everything here and it is always so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!

Dara T.

Yelp
Farmers' markets are expensive because they have to get up in the middle of the night, drive there to set up booth, etc. Their overhead is so much higher than for grocery stores. Most of the time, the quality of their food is really exceptional. I frequent farmers' markets because the superior food makes me really happy. Worthington has the largest farmers' market in central Ohio, but Worthington has decaying, decrepite sidewalks. As an invalid, I just can't negotiate Worthington Farmers' Market. Many of the Worthington sellers are also at Clintonville. Hurrah!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
I would give this place 3 stars, but I just can't bring myself to give 3 stars to a farmer's market. Maybe in 5 years, when they've successfully taken over the grocery market, but now... when they're so fledgling? I just can't do it. So, why the trepidation? The Clintonville Farmer's market is within easy walking distance of my house. I got some asparagus there yesterday that changed my life (sort of). My boyfriend got the most amazing cream puff, we bought an expensive but nice loaf of bread (I could make that!), and I picked up a few greenhouse tomatoes. I felt good about myself. My issue with the Clintonville Farmer's market is that it's a little light on the FARM. Yeah, there's bread and cream puffs and cheese and snowville creamery milk, but I want vegetables. Yeah, it's barely May, but I've been there a fair amount last summer, and the produce is just... lacking. There are probably 4 or 5 consistent stands. At the Worthington Market, up the road, you can find so much more! In any case, this place will do in a pinch.... like when I'm feel like walking to the market.... but when I'm really after a good produce haul, I just have to head to Worthington, which is really the most incredible place. And, in spite of it being in Worthington, I feel like the stuff there is cheaper. I don't think it opens until mid May, but I'll be there because, sorry Clintonville, you're the second best.
google avatar

Mindy W.

Yelp
I think this is love. I'm picking out a ring this weekend and asking CFM to elope. I somehow missed coming here the whole last season, and made it a point to go out on the first Saturday of this season. I am so happy! I bought pork chops, flower plants, ribs, jam, the best swiss cheese ever... Everyone was friendly, prices made sense, and I loved all the samples. Make sure you come here when it's open. It makes sense to buy from Ohio producers!
google avatar

Cherie R.

Yelp
My second favorite farmer's market! I spend most Saturday mornings during the spring/summer making my round of farmer's markets. I usually start at Worthington as soon as it opens, make my way down High Street to Clintonville, and sometimes will end up at North Market instead of heading home. In my opinion, nothing can beat Worthington's for sheer size and variety, but Clintonville has a few things that they don't have. I originally bought Dan the Baker's goods at Clintonville, although now you can find his stuff at other places. There's a mushroom guy here that sells yummy shitake shrooms, and there's a few places that sell apples closer to the fall that I can't find anywhere else. I'm picky about my produce.
google avatar

Paul F.

Yelp
This was probably my last review of the market. I don't care what you call it, but organic to me means better than what I can get at Krogers or Giant Eagle and that's not what I see here. And the meat, geez, a guy hauled his in from northeastern Ohio, FROZEN, no less. I don't buy frozen meat locally and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay a premium for it, just because someone says it's organic.
google avatar

Jared W.

Yelp
They had a decent selection of fresh vegetables and fruits, but prices were really high at most of the booths. They also had some cool sellers of meats, cheeses, breads, salsas, jams, and syrups to give the market some balance. Despite a variety of sellers though, this was a pretty small farmer's market and the meat/cheeses/breads were all limited in options. Overall it's a decent farmer's market but too pricey for the potential increase in quality when you're paying $15-20/pound for cheese, $5/dozen for eggs, or $3+/pound for potatoes.
google avatar

Briden S.

Yelp
I have been to a number of different Farmers Markets around town and I would have to say that the Clintonville Farmers Market is my favorite. There is a long stretch of friendly people just selling their own goods to us. Endless selections of food for all types of food lovers. The only thing that is a disappointment is you never know what may be there that day. So do not go with a list of items your hoping to get, because it may not be there. Everything I have had has been delicious, the prices are very reasonable and fair for the quality.

Yelp
We started coming regularly last year to pick up our CSA...this year, our CSA hasn't even started and we're still showing up regularly. This is how much we enjoy the market. Clintonville goes out of its way to make every weekend a small mini-event in a low-key way. This means you'll find things like musical entertainment, education on seasonal finds or cooking techniques or handy visitors that can tune up bikes or sharpen knives (the website and newsletter keep you up-to-date). They're also improving things for patrons...new in 2011 is the ability to purchase tokens with your debit card that are spendable at any of the vendors should you find yourself cash-poor at a booth not equipped for card transactions. Vendors offer all manner of locally grown or processed goods - this is not a spot where you can sell your "locally unpacked bananas" and get away with it. If you haven't enjoyed veggies or fruits less the week or two transport time for grocery store variety, you don't know what you're missing (you'll also love how much longer they'll store at your home). You'll also find meats, cheeses, baked goods, honey and even wool. The market is dog-friendly, so expect plenty of four-legged friends. If I had to improve things, it would be to offer more random seating...especially near the crepe/BBQ cart and to better figure out the small traffic jams that form near the aforementioned crepe/BBQ cart to keep foot traffic flowing.

Yelp
I could not ask for a better place to enjoy some of the most luxurious goods created by the locals! Rather you opt to start at a canned preserve stand or a Apple table, you will experience some of the best tasting goods in the Midwest. There is a stand with homemade cheeses and another with freshly prepared Tamales. There was even a little girl selling juices crafted from her own collection. I rather enjoyed the Peach Tea. The people are very friendly and it gives you a chance to visit the permanent businesses as well. Katalina's Cafe in Clintonville is there along with Donatos Pizza. There is Karen Witcliff Books and a natural goods store. Plenty of other businesses. Several other eateries and there is ALWAYS a food truck. It ends on November 23rd this year and that makes me sad. However, it makes me more excited to give these hardworking people time to prepare delicious and beautiful goods for the next season.

Yelp
I have to give the clintonville farmers market five stars. Some reviews have remarked it is smaller than worthington's, too many people are just chit chatting, and the prices are. Aired or too high. People. It's a farmers market. By definition, this is a place you want to be able to walk to from home and buy fresher, nicer stuff than from your local supermarket. If you wNt the fastest checkout time and people who are assholes, go to whole foods. If you want to chat with people on Saturday morning or Wednesday afternoon, enjoy some music, have a cup of coffee, go to the farmers market. They are also working hard to Create events where you meet the farmers(I tapped maple trees!) and give back to e clintonville community. I love that they sell tokens now either with your debit or EBT card so you don't have to remember cash--I have a separate farmers market wallet. When I didn't live near a farmers market, I would go to north market on Saturdays, andi occasionally went to worthington's, but clintonville is close, and I never leave wishing for something I couldn't find.
google avatar

Yelp
The farmers market is truly one of Clintonville's best assets. Going in the morning on the weekends to pick up produce, meats, cheese and baked goods is something I look forward to every week when the market is operating. Not only are you able to find locally grown, seasonal produce, etc. but you also get the opportunity to talk to the farmers and learn more about their farms and practices. It's also possible to join a CSA with certain farms and pick up your share each week. (See www.localharvest.org!) Plus its fun, healthy, a chance to get outside and walk around, and it gives everyone an opportunity to be a part of the community, meet others, and benefit local farms. Bring cash and go nuts!
google avatar

Michael G.

Yelp
Man, what a great day for the market. Mid-August and EVERYTHING is in bloom; flowers, veggies, beef, eggs, chicken, coffee/tea, bread; you name it. Still the only issue is parking. Get there early is my suggestion. This has to be one of the best markets in town.
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
I do not have the authority to compare this any other area outdoor farmer's markets because it's the only one I've been to since I arrived in Columbus, but I love to support local and this is my 'hood. On it's own, I'd have to say they offer a very solid selection and variety of everything one would expect to be peddled by a farmer. Flowers, veggies, fruits, cheese, bread, herbs, meats, etc. I have been going every Saturday to pick up my CSA, and will stroll through to check out the offerings to compliment the booty from my share. My favorite is the fresh bouquet of flowers you can get for only $12. Even after a bad work week, knowing I can go to Clintonville Farmer's Market on Saturday to peruse the local goodness turns my attitude around.
google avatar

Lyndsay B.

Yelp
When I don't have the time or patience to go up to the Worthington Farmer's Market (or I just need a few things), then I'll stop by. They have all of the basics (just not as much diversity as Worthington), and much more! I really enjoy the selection quite a bit. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning, and a great way to talk with the farmers that grow the food you're buying. Also, freshly-made cider is now available! I love it!
google avatar

Molly B.

Yelp
Clintonville Farmer's Market is a Saturday morning staple for me. I love seeing all the people with their dogs and babies. Even if you're not in the market for food, it's fun to stroll around and see what the market has to offer. Others have argued that there isn't enough produce here. I would agree with that, which is the only reason I am giving the market four stars, instead of five. But I like that the selection is diverse - you can get home baked pies, bison meat, artisan breads, BBQ ribs, vegan (raw) goodies, cheese, fresh milk and eggs, honey, and jams.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
I've recently become a weekly regular at this. It's a great option for people who live near Ohio State. All kinds of fresh produce, which is exactly what I go for. What's there varies from season to season. Right now it's mostly veggies, as more fruits come into season as fall grows closer. Farmers markets are perfect if you're not picky about what you eat and are fine with whatever is in season. And what you'll get is so much fresher than what you get at a grocery store. In my opinion, this more than makes up for the higher prices. Other yelpers have said this isn't huge for a farmers market, but it's certainly large enough for me. I never have trouble finding a nice picking of stuff for that week. Some of my favorites here include: buying mixed leafy greens from Dangling Carrot, the chevre from Lucky Penny Farms (chevre and feta is all they sell), and the breads at Eden Bakery.
google avatar

Lauren P.

Yelp
Buy your food here first! Bread, Flowers, Bison, Cider, Cheese

Mike B.

Yelp
Went through the market this weekend (I normally do when I stop by winemaker's shop to get homebrew supplies for the weekend), and I have to say I was less than impressed. Everyone had generally the same combination of produce, which is understandable, but the prices were wildly inflated over what I've seen at other times. Vendors were also not dishing out samples like I remember from past visits. The only worthwhile truck was the fresh peach truck, but given the 30 minute wait in the epic long line, I didn't want peaches that badly. First time I've left a market without buying anything, but that shouldn't discourage you from checking it out at least once, I'm guessing it was just an off-week.
google avatar

Kenley M.

Yelp
A great perk of living in Clintonville! Many great vendors. Mostly produce, but also dairy, eggs, meat, bread, pies, honey, flowers, candles and other stuff. I got the best strawberries of my life here from Wayward Seed.
google avatar

Barri J.

Yelp
I happened on this farmer's market about 4 years ago and have been a fan since then ~ whether it's eggs from Oink Moo Cluck, peaches from Branstool Orchards, flowers from Sunny Meadows or anything from Dan the Baker, I have withdrawals if I don't go. LOVE this market at opening. But if you wait too long, Richard P is correct, you dodge dogs, strollers and long lost friends.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
The Clintonville farmers market will do. If you live close it is definitely worth stopping by to get your weekly veggies. If you have extra time though I would head to the Worthington one since it has double the vendors. Both farmers markets could really use to vendors that sell hot food to eat while you browse (this is a hint hint to anyone looking to start a small business).

Nikki A.

Yelp
One of the best farmer's markets I have ever seen. Producer only FOOD products, not a lot of crafts. Lots of certified organic, pastured meats, fresh pasta, cheeses, breads/pastries, fruit, fish, microgreens, even mushrooms! Highly recommended, worth the trip.
google avatar

Alexa A.

Yelp
I'm so glad there is a farmer's market walking distance from my house! This market is lovely and people are friendly and I love that I can pick up some prepared raw food for breakfast as I browse for produce and meat. There are often people selling gluten-free baked goods here too, hooray! I do wish the prices were better, and that there were more organic options. Maybe one day!

Yelp
I've been a fan of farmer's markets for years now, and while the Clintonville Market may not be huge, it doesn't disappoint (in my opinion anyway). The location is pretty acceptable, and I've always found that the people are pretty welcoming and helpful. I also appreciate the mix of types of items available from veggies to cheeses to baked goods to hot sauces, and so on.

Yelp
This Farmers' Market is located on the west side of the street in Clintonville Commons. I should note, they will be open again May - October, 2009. This is the kind of place that I love to go to in the morning to pick up my fruits and veggies for the week. Everything at this place is sustainable and picked only miles away. Not only do they have exceptional fruits and veggies, but they have everything from eggs and pies to flowers of every kind. I suggest dropping by the list of all the farms/farmers that is (if you're on the iphone app or the like) pasted here: http://www.clintonvillefarmersmarket.org/meet_the_farmers.asp They're known for having activities on the saturdays they're here as well. I remember that they had vintage tractors one time and sometimes have music and contests (like flower arranging). They also had an ice cream making demonstration once. This is a wonderful place for those of you who are making an attempt to eat locally. These delicious yummies all apply. Remember to bring cash and be prepared to leave with more than anticipated because of lovely finds.

Yelp
I wasn't too impressed with this farmers market. While it is fall most of the vendors sold the same produce; apples, pumpkins, squash, and peppers. Despite the lack of variety the coffee from the Global Gallery was awesome and I stumbled upon some good cheeses. Next time I think I'll get just head further down High to the Worthington Farmers Market.

Yelp
It's quite an event, this market. Lots of interesting prepared items and it seems to have enough actual produce to call it a "farmer's" market. I got to talk with several vendors about their methods. All of the produce seems to be carefully grown if not all strictly organic. I also got a fabulous chicken from Frijolito.

Yelp
I love the Clintonville farmers market! I've bought a variety of goods here--fresh fruit and veggies, fresh sausages, bread, AMAZING cinnamon rolls, squash and tomato plants. This is a great Saturday morning ritual, and such a neighborhood treasure!
