Got a large iced vanilla latte. Great latte , good quality oatmilk, in-house syrups, good ratios. Atmosphere is such a vibe it’s very cute & aesthetic in here. NOT a lot of room inside for seating but there’s outside seating. Customer service 2/5. Not very friendly.

Beautiful outdoor area and i loved my iced latte, however two of my friends got matcha and both were watered down and clumpy. it became pretty undrinkable for them for a $7 drink. it would be worth it to invest in a strainer! i’d recommend the coffee but if you’re a matcha drinker, probably skip out

Solid coffee shop with quick service, nice pastry selection, and indoor and outdoor seating. I’ve only been once, but from that experience, great! Got a salted caramel decaf latte.

Nestled in Durham, NC, Cloche Coffee brings a refreshing West Coast vibe to the Bull City. This charming café has quickly become a local favorite, offering a perfect blend of great coffee, delectable treats, and a welcoming atmosphere. As soon as you approach Cloche, you'll notice the inviting outdoor seating area. It's an ideal spot to soak up some sun, enjoy the fresh air, and watch the world go by. Even better, your furry friends are welcome to join you, thanks to their dog-friendly policy. Step inside, and you'll find yourself in a cute, cozy space that somehow manages to transport you to a laid-back California coffee shop. The interior is thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that's perfect for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or checking out the houseplants. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the coffee. Cloche doesn't disappoint, offering a range of expertly crafted beverages. Their decaf Americano is a standout, proving that you don't need caffeine to enjoy a rich, flavorful cup of joe. It's smooth, well-balanced, and satisfying – a true testament to their commitment to quality across all their offerings. For those looking for something a little different, the honey cappuccino is a must-try. The subtle sweetness of the honey complements the espresso perfectly, creating a harmonious blend that'll have you coming back for more. To accompany your coffee, Cloche offers a selection of freshly baked goods. The chocolate almond scone is a particular highlight – buttery, crumbly, and studded with rich chocolate and crunchy almonds. It's the perfect partner to your morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur, a remote worker in need of a change of scenery, or simply looking for a pleasant spot to unwind, Cloche Coffee delivers. With its California-inspired vibes, top-notch coffee, delicious treats, and dog-friendly outdoor seating, it's no wonder this popping little joint has quickly become a beloved part of Durham's vibrant alternative coffee scene.

Nice spot and ambience is really nice but the coffee was disappointing. Service was decent and seemed to be friendly with regular customers. We ordered a coconut latte with whole milk and black coffee and both had a sour almost rancid flavor and left a bad taste in our mouths. As a seasoned cafe goer I wanted to love it but probably wouldn’t come again for the drinks.

I discovered this coffee shop on Google while looking for nearby options after lunch. The design caught my eye, and I was right to be intrigued. It's one of the most unique coffee shops I've seen, with a distinctive interior and exterior design. The setup of the indoor and outdoor seating feels so natural and relaxing. I wish I had a house nearby so I could visit every day, just to sit and watch the street. I absolutely love it!

What a lovely cafe tucked away on Broad Street. I got a ham and Swiss panini and an iced latte. The latte was bitter at first, but much better as the ice started melting. The food is really good! So is the coffee and atmosphere. They had some lofi music in the background. One of the coffee machines is quite loud, but otherwise I have no complaints. Would definitely come back in the future if possible!

I love a cafe that takes pride in sourcing their own beans! I'm a coffee fanatic, and finding cafes like Cloche is an amazing experience! They have their own Cloche Coffee, and apparently, they make their own syrups (I drink coffee black, but I can appreciate things being made in-house)! I had their Cold Brew as I needed a bigger dosage of caffeine, and this didn't disappoint. I like how they noted that you shouldn't be fooled by lighter roast as it often has more caffeine, which means they actually do their research and know their coffee! That being said, the cold brew coffee was super refreshing and nice! They definitely used their own beans. The cold brew had a touch of acidity and an underlying fruitiness to it, which is often difficult to extract with cold brews. Overall, it's an amazing cafe, seating inside and out, and the staff here is SUPER FRIENDLY! Great place to chill, talk, and get work done. It's better than a Starbucks 100%, and I'd say better quality for roughly the same price if not cheaper.
