I have gone multiple times and it is always amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and so fun and kind. The environment is inviting, cozy and so fun. The decorations is out of this world Each themed tea they hold is fantastic! I highly recommend the Harry Potter tea

Can I do 6 stars? First time we went here. WOW! This place has all 3 categories covered. 1. Top notch service by Tabitha who I think has a Masters degree in "tea". She knows all about ALL of them and there are a bunch of teas here in multiple categories. She really treated us like her family. 2. Top notch food. Oh my God everything on all 3 tiers of the serving tray was so tasty. The Tomato Bisque soup to start things off was definitely the best I've ever had. The teas (we had 2) we're wonderful. A whole pot for each of us. The pomegranate Mimosa was great. I'm pretty sure we'll never go back to OJ for that drink. 3. ATMOSPHERE ! ! ! The mix of Victorian and Steam Punk is so well done you can't help staring at the walls and ceiling and we couldn't stop taking pics (until the food came of course). The obvious time taken to collect and arrange the pieces throughout the venue filling all the nooks and crannies resulted in such a wonderful place to be. The 2 hours flew by. I don't know if we'll ever be back to the Portland area again but if we are Clockwork Rose Tearoom Emporium is #1 on our REPEAT list. Thanks to Tabitha and the Back of the House for one of the most pleasurable and stimulating lunches we have ever had. We cannot recommend them enough. GO! You will be so glad you did.

We had a wonderful experience at their Harry Potter-themed tea. The place was exquisitely decorated, the food was fantastic (and appropriately themed) and the magician/group table/tea names were just fun! We will definitely be back for some of their other themed teas!

Beautiful atmosphere! The tea was phenomenal. My friend had The Kraken and while it was tasty, it was also lovely to look at in the cup. It had a purple color to it which I'd never seen in a tea before. The staff was great, so helpful and wonderful. We had a great time. They also have a little shop and it was hard not to walk away with all their cool leather book bags and Edgar Allen Poe salt and pepper shakers

Attended a special event at this space that looks like a former ice cream shop (at least in front where you walk in.) Very attentive service, good vibes, nicely presented soup, tea sandwiches, and treats. One note: be prepared to sit with others. The seating is "family style" and the tea service timing felt a bit rushed - unfortunate if you want to have a leisurely time and socialize. Probably a better choice for a group as opposed to a one-on-one date with a friend. Bring cash for a tip as gratuity is not included in the price.

We went for my birthday today. That was the BEST tea experience ever! The shop is adorable. The food and tea was SO DELICIOUS. Everyone was so nice and so accommodating. We had a couple people with major food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were all safe. Thank you Clockwork Rose!!

The service, too, is impeccable: attentive, warm, and just formal enough to make you feel as though you’ve slipped into a bygone era of genteel leisure. And yet, for all its charm, the experience is ultimately undermined by the most crucial element of any tea room—the food. The sandwiches, a staple of any proper afternoon tea, arrived disappointingly dry, their fillings lackluster and sparing. The scones, which should be the crowning glory of such a spread, were dense and crumbly, missing that essential balance of crisp exterior and tender interior. Even the clotted cream and jam—usually a saving grace—couldn’t rescue them. As for the desserts, they were passable but forgettable, lacking the artistry and flavor one might expect from a place that otherwise excels in aesthetic detail. It’s a shame, really. ClockWork Rose has clearly poured its heart into crafting an immersive experience, and the tea selection itself is very impressive, with fragrant, well-steeped offerings that delight the senses. But the food fails to match the elegance of the surroundings. For now, this tea emporium remains a lovely spot for ambiance and service alone—but unless the kitchen undergoes a reinvention, it risks becoming little more than a beautiful shell, all style and no substance.

I had the most wonderful experience at Clockwork Rose for Afternoon Tea. After years of wanting to try it, I finally booked a reservation—for myself—for my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I believe my server’s name was Selene, and they were truly exceptional. I was a bit nervous going in since I’d never been to Afternoon Tea before, and I was going solo. Selene immediately made me feel welcome and completely at ease. They walked me through the entire process, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and cared for throughout. The tea: bottomless. The food: divine. The service: perfection. It was such a special experience, and I can’t wait to come back—next time with friends and family to share this gem of a place. Selene even brought out a special birthday treat at the end, which made the day feel even more meaningful.

While I haven't done a tea experience yet, the service *every* *single* *time* I go into the store, even just to browse, is top notch. They carry a crazy good assortment of my favorite sort of niche tea brand, which is incredible by itself, but add in the Harry Potter, steampunk, quirky tidbits, and I'm in heaven. We purchased gift cards for my niece & mother in law for Christmas in preparation of coming to the Harry Potter event in July, so I'll be able to update to that occasion in the future, but in the meantime, I will fully support any & all opportunities to peruse the shop!

Such a neat place. I brought my niece here on a Thursday afternoon. We had a tower of yummy eats that we couldn't finish and the hostess helped us pick out teas that she thought we would enjoy and we did.

The atmosphere is fascinating and fun. A trip around promises surprises at every corner. Lots of whimsical ideas fill the walls windows and floors. We were a party of 10 from 9 to 77 celebrating grandparents birthdays. The kids loved as did the adults. On this particular day we had an early reservation and I was surprised how many 20's-30's couple came in. The pastries were delectable and we had over ?100? teas to pick from. After being informed that a teapot held 8 cups of teas there was lots of sharing and tasting. For several of us it was our second annual visit. I strongly imagine there is a third in outing coming next year!

It's a cute high tea spot in Beaverton. It's perfect for hanging out with groups of girls or with a partner. We had a blast here with the top--notch service of special tea and pastries. You have to make a reservation three weeks in advance to get a table; they don't accept walk-ins.

I cannot recommend this place enough. You need to visit if you haven't already. My boyfriend and I did the afternoon tea for two which was $50/person. I think this is pretty standard pricing from my experience going to afternoon teas. They do require a reservation in advance for the afternoon tea. The theming of the place is wonderful, they had some Harry Potter decorations and other bits that made it feel very magical/steampunk-like. We were led through the cafe to the dining area where they had the tables all set up. The teapots and plates they had were very cute. Once we were seated at our table, our server lets us know how everything would flow. First, we had to pick out our tea. Each person gets their own pot of tea and the pots each hold a lot of tea (I think they said like 8 teacups worth). Their tea menu is very extensive with black, oolong, green, white and herbal selections. We weren't sure what to pick but luckily our server was very knowledgeable and walked us through the menu with a brief description of each tea and made some recommendations based on flavors we enjoyed. My boyfriend got Harold's Chai (House Blend) which is an original recipe that the owner came up with. I got the Paris Tea which is a black tea with hints of caramel, fruits and vanilla. They also have sugar and creamer on the table, so I made myself a creamy caramel tea. Both the teas were high quality and very flavorful, but the Paris tea was one of the best ones that I've ever had. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing the loose-leaf version after to take home. Next came the soups - I would say these are pretty average soups. Enjoyable but not the best. Then our server brought the 3-tier platter of goodies and walked up through everything that was on it. The bottom tier had the more savory bites like finger sandwiches, quiche, hot dog roll, meat pastry). The middle tier had the scones with a lemon jam, raspberry jam and clotted cream. The top tier had the macaroons, little cakes with cotton candy meringue, a donut and fruit tart. The presentation was beautiful! My favorites were the finger sandwiches, scone with clotted cream and the macaroons. Overall - I had a wonderful experience. Knowledgeable staff, great presentation of the food, delicious teas and lovely atmosphere. They do have a shop in the front if you do not want to do the tea experience and just want to purchase the teas (both tea bag and loose leaf are available).

We've been here a few times and it's always amazing. The tea is great, the servers are super nice, and the food is so cute and even though it's tiny it fills you up unexpectedly. The place has a steampunk vibe and it's really fun. They put on a great tea and I'm really glad they made it through the pandemic.

My son and his wife treated my husband and I to this for my birthday and I was really excited to visit. First off I was surprised that there was no milk for our tea and they only had half and half or oat milk, coconut milk etc for our tea. The salad we started with was good but only really enjoyable with extra dressing. The three sandwiches we tried were tasteless. They had obviously been pre made and refrigerated. The fillings were so thin - the cucumber was almost non existent and I had to tell my husband that one was egg salad because it wasn't readily apparent. Next I triedthe scone. I have to admit I haven't had a scone in years but it seemed too hard to me. I was looking forward to the sausage roll until I bit into it and discovered it was a piece of hot dog! I laughed and declared to was the same kind that they serve at Costco. Honestly nothing was really very tasty. I didn't try the macaroons or the chocolate brownie. I feel bad that my son and his wife spent their hard earned money. I am going to the Empress Hotel in Vancouver BC next month for their afternoon tea and expect it to be way better.

I has really high hopes going to this little tea shop for high tea because of the good reviews. The decor was very cute and unique but the experience as a whole wasn't that great. Before things even came out, my cousin noticed a lipstick stain and a black speck inside of her cup. She told the lady that brought our food out and she said "oh that's just a tea leave" as if that's ok?????? We would have been way more comfortable if she just apologized and said let me get you a new cup or something but she didn't. To start off, we were missing the milk jug from our tea set and neither of the people who came to our table paid enough attention to even notice. I think the milk jug is a huge part to a high tea set. We ended up having to ask for it after they delivered our tea. They had a great tea selection but I'm not sure if it's because it was steeped for long enough, but the tea was flavorless. Now onto the food. Everything looked like it was bought elsewhere and just put on the plate. Nothing tasted or felt authentic. To me, part of the a good tea experience is how delicious and fresh all the cakes, scones and treats usually taste. I didn't get this experience from this tea shop at all. I wouldn't come back I'm not sure why the reviews are so great for this place. Overall... Food was 5/10 Service 6/10 Decor 8/10

First time yesterday (exploring high tea in the region is one of our hobbies) and they have a great start...a few more tweaks and it would be perfect! 1. Music: too loud where we were seated...the mix also had some strange songs with high pitched vocals. How about classical, ambient, light holiday music or something else unobtrusive. 2. Menu: we did the $70 Dickens Christmas tea which was very heavy. A light salad instead of the potato soup would've been appreciated as a fresher accompaniment among all of the pastries and other carbs. Overall, there was nothing fresh on the menu, no fresh fruit.... We missed the crisp of the cucumber sandwiches. The carbs that were there were delicious though, all the different pies. The plum pudding was missing. The tea was weak, need to leave the bags in there longer. The scones were a bit gluey. Beautiful presentation! 3. Lighting: it was dark above one end of our table. We were in the back near the bathrooms. The light was covered with a decorative element so I don't think there was much to be done about the darkness. We used the flashlights on our phones to see the menu and the food. Looking forward to trying again maybe in a couple months. Thank you!

Yes. That is all.. just Yes! Everything I have ever wanted when wanting to experience 'High Tea'. First walked in, after waiting for our food at a nearby restaurant and was mesmerized by the cute and adorable decoration by the window. (Steam punk themed at the time) and once entered, it was like my very own Alice in Wonderland meets Steampunk. Spoke with a staff member and they explained that we need to make a reservation online to enjoy the experience. After doing so and returning, we had so much fun with the tea selection (yes, each person gets their own teapot). A shared tray of tasty delectables all assorted and displayed beautifully, but best of all- very very accommodating. Dietary restriction? (Lactose intolerant, or Vegan)? Add it on to your cart when scheduling for the reservation and they will customize your items and substitute ingredients. Overall, very enjoyable experience. We've returned for their Harry Potter themed event and that was also a blast! Whole place gets tranformed into hogwarts ranging from the grand hall, to the 's buzzing around to themed food and drinks. If your an exceptional Potter Head, answer some questions to win fun prizes! Highly recommend you give this establishment a try! We will definitely be returning- in fact, will make a reservation now!

Definitely an experience with a vibrant Harry Potter feel when you walk in. It's well adorned and my girlfriend and I were greeted and seated for our tea experience reservation. The staff was extremely kind and very knowledgeable with great recommendations. We got a pre fixed tea for two 100$ pre tip. This includes a personal selection tea pot, soup and 3 tower tier of scones, beignet, hot and cold finger sandwiches and more! Presentation 5/5 Staff 5/5 Chai Tea 4.5/5 Broccoli cheddar soup 4/5 Desserts 4.5/5 Sandwiches 3.5/5 Some of the food was hit or miss for me. The finger sandwiches weren't my favorite with the mayonnaise? The scones were well made. With all the variety there's bound to be something to love. Overall an awesome time and definitely worth a revisit.

I attended the Alice in Wondered themed tea today. It was my first time visiting Clockwork Rose. The tearoom was darling! They absolutely rocked the theme with their decorations. My choice for tea was delicious and changed color when a bit of lemon juice was added! The was very tasty. I especially liked the scones! There was a decent choice of savory, sweet and warmed items. We were allowed two hours which was plenty of time to visit and eat & drink. This is a very well run establishment. I look forward to returning

Another fantastic high tea experience in the books. This time it was Dickens Christmas Eve experience with all the fun food and decor to match. This place holds a special place in my heart and I will continue to return to enjoy all the tea experiences I can time after time.

This is the most amazing high tea experience I have had to date. Everything is so well thought out. The table setting is exqusite, every tea pot is unique, beautiful and different. You start with a salad, and then you get the traditional High Tea, but what I really liked is you get 3 cold sandwiches and 3 hot bites. My fav was this mini veggie pot pie. However, there was nothing that wasn't less than expectional. The decor feel like something out of a scene from the movie Hugo. The room you dine is called "Hogwarts," but given all the clocks I thought it felt more like "Hugo." Even the bathrooms are photo worthy. One has sort of 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea vibe, which includes an old fashion scuba man, and a octopus on the floor that was made from pennies. Make sure to take your phone with you to the bathroom, as it is photo worthy. The staff was equally great, they volunterred to take pictures, and would even move things around the table to ensure you were getting the best shot. You can tell they all were passoniate about their job, they could describe tea like a sommelier discribes wine.

Wow were to begin. It's a good problem when you have so many good things to say that it's hard to find a starting point. I'll start by saying not only do I HIGHLY recommend the Clockrose Tea Emporium but I also actively try and take people here. It doesn't matter if they are visiting or local because I'm always looking for a reason to come here! I think it's important to discuss expectations. If you know what you're in for there is a much higher chance you'll enjoy this experience. 1.) Make a reservation on their website! Normally they are by reservation only so plan accordingly. 2.) Bring cash for a tip. When you make the reservation, that's when you pay and it doesn't give the option to tip. The staff is wonderful and I'm sure you'll feel inclined to take care of them, so unless you're planning on buying something on the way out bring some cash. 3.) You are paying as much for the experience as you are the food and tea. It's not like they put on a show or anything but the whole tea experience is a really fun time. Everything from the unique playlist to the decor that all works in tandem with each other to create a fun and truly original experience. I always leave completely stuffed too so food quantity is on the level. 4.) If you're not a tea drinker don't worry! I wouldn't normally call myself a tea drinker, especially on a regular basis. Having tea here has really broadened my views on what tea can be. With a bit of help from the staff I've actually found some different teas that I REALLY enjoy. I was not expecting that to happen when I first came here. They occasionally have special events which are a blast too. Definitely would suggest getting in on that if you are able to. The experience has always been great and the staff is exceptional. They really add to the experience. A special thanks to them. It's a unique experience that I think is worth trying. Worst case scenario is that it's not your thing and you end up supporting a local business. Best case scenario is you have a blast, like I did, and end up coming back.

Blown away! Absolutely blown away by the sheer amount of work, attention to detail, style and finesse that was put into this place. And then they take that same level of perfection and apply it to their tea and food. Each course I thought couldn't get better, and then it did. The VIBE here is unparalleled. If you like steam punk, dark, clever, witty, whimsical, or Harry Potter esque but a bit more adult absolutely check this place out. I went during the day and was impressed. I can only imagine the vibe for their after dark experience.

This is an amazing place to take any of your gal friends for birthdays and soecial occasions. I was a guest for my birthday in January. Took a special out of town guest in the summer and just took my daughter-in-law and granddaughter for a birthday celebration...we sat at the Wonderland (as in Alice) table. It hasn't disappointed yet. Such a great idea for a special occasion which beats a regular birthday gift. Can't think what would work for a guy that would match this wonderful tea room.

This place set the bar for me for "high tea" experiences, and I have now been deeply disappointed by all other places! It's such a cute family-owned passion project. There is a broad selection of loose-leaf Harney & Sons tea, which is served with a tiered platter of fancy little finger foods. I love that they offer vegan and gluten-free options, and they taste GOOD. I believe most food is made in-house.

My hubs and I had the Dicken's Christmas tea today! It was really so good! They a great job on the savories. Usually this is where teas struggle. Great service, very interesting decor, and definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food at a fun & engaging tea house. The decor is a total vibe from the Cheshire cat and tea cups hanging from the light beams to the Harry Potter knick nacks, it really transports you to another place. This was a great idea for my birthday as it got us out of the rain and warm and cozy with amazing teas. The staff was expedient, explained everything and we never needed to ask for anything. It was a great birthday lunch! I really hope I get to come back.

Super cute place. It's a family owned tea shop. I have been to other afternoon tea places (one in Portland Downtown and another in Las Vegas). This was by far my husband and I's new favorite. I love that they make teas specifically for the shop and have tea that you could only get in specific locations. Their food options were so good. I am currently on a dairy free diet and they were able to accommodate it. Love how even the food changes as well. Highly recommend people who love afternoon tea/enjoy tea and have never been to an afternoon tea place. My husband and I cant wait to make reservations to go back in December.

Harney & Sons teas exclusively, but a good selection, lots of assistance from the staff picking the right tea for your. Food was attractive but very mediocre, tasteless or bland are not used lightly, but that's the impression I had after all but one item was eaten. So it was disappointing for a high tea expectation and cost. Ambiance is quirky and fun, definitely not stuffy or high brow. They have Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and Doctor Who merchandise. The attendant who served also suggested their team were witches, something that was a turn off for sure. They offer themed events and have lots of fun merchandise in their small shop. More points for creative ambiance than actual tea/food quality. Lots of work put into their presentation but if you have a place you love going because of the food quality, then you don't need to spend $ here to leave only to want more from that side of the experience

The ambience was wonderful. Decorated beautifully. My 3rd holiday season going for the $70 Dickins Tea. This year truly a disappointment. Heavy carbs. Not balanced at all. They did away with the tea sandwiches. Nothing fresh- no salad or fruit. Most of the items were very crusty. I didnt even finish mine. Not worth the $$. Even the tea was very light. Must have removed the bags too early. Not many tables were full even at noon.

Came for the witches tea. It was amazing! So creative, and each item was delicious. The decor really set the stage for a festive Halloween tea.

Such a great little find with eclectic steampunk decor. Friendly staff, fantastic tea selections and freshly made food! We had such a great time and will certainly return!

I've been here so many times and every time everything is wonderful! It's always the place I suggest when a friend comes to visit. The staff is always super kind and welcoming. Honestly one of the best tea experiences in America!

So enjoyed the royal tea experience! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was great, and the atmosphere is cute and unique. I'm vegan and so often the options for otherwise nonvegan spots are quite underwhelming, but Clockwork Rose puts together such a lovely and tasty vegan assortment! A friend who also went is gluten-free and similarly had plenty of goodies, so you definitely won't feel like you're excluded from the experience if you have special dietary requirements.

OMG. That's what comes to mind for this place. I was treating my mom to a celebratory event, so I booked high tea at this establishment. We are from Eugene and wanted a new and fun experience. The decor in this place is fun and whimsical. The server who helped us was kind and knowledgeable. I'm not much of a tea drinker, but my mom is. However, I asked the server for recommendations, and she converted me from disliking tea to being in love with it. I even bought a tin to go! Now to the food. First, we received a caesar salad, followed by a 3-tier tower of goodness. The base layer was comprised of mostly tea sandwiches and mini quiche-like items. The middle tier was scones and jam, and the top tier was desserts. As we ate our way up the tower, we discovered that each and every item was mind-blowingly delicious. I think the cost for each person was around $50, which seemed like a lot of money, but after tasting the food--it was well worth it. This establishment does everything right. It's clean, has friendly staff, excellent food, and a lovely environment. Since returning to Eugene, I've told all of my friends and coworkers about it because I want this small business to continue to be successful. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back!

Such a unique, enjoyable experience we had at this awesome tea spot. Had never been to a tea spot like this before. Took my mom for her 83rd birthday and she was so happy. staff was amazingly kind and helpful. Can't wait to go again

I had a wonderful, post Valentines Afternoon Tea experience here! The Chilled Strawberry Soup, served around this holiday, is double fabulous! The tiered tray of homemade food and a vast Tea menu, make this such a great value. Outstanding service provided by Joey! This place is a must for Afternoon Tea lovers!

If I could rate this place higher than a 5, I really would. My mom and I are very picky afternoon tea go-ers and have likely gone to over 20-30 different tea places around the country and I can say, with complete certainty, this place was the absolute BEST. Everything from the service, the decor, the items offered were completely unique and full of surprise. Our waitress was an absolute delight. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable in all of the tea selections (which there had to have been over 20 tea choices to choose from) but she was also very personable and friendly. She even offered us a cup of tea to go. I will say that their strictness in cancellation policy is understandable when you see the effort they put into every guests experience. Our tier was absolutely FULL of delicious items. My mother is a vegetarian and they prepared special items just for her. I don't believe there was one thing on there that I did not like. Amazing decor, make sure you look up to appreciate the tea cup chandeliers, the owner apparently made them. Also, make a trip to the bathroom, loved the decor in there as well! Overall... just go here and experience it yourself. It is such a fun atmosphere. You will walk away full, happy, and completely satisfied!

I have been meaning to come here for some time as they are very close to my home. Two of my friends joined me for a wonderful experience! Parking can be a bit tricky since its right in downtown Beaverton. The staff did tell me that they share parking with Giovanni's though so you can park there if there is nothing out front. Our experience was superb from start to finish - including the other people attending their own tea services. There was a group of girls in their early 20's for a birthday and a few of the ladies looked amazing with giant hats and gorgeous dresses. Bravo! Having the tea actually explained to us was wonderful and helped us make good decisions. I chose the Wonderland tea which was exquisite. If you don't finish all of your tea they happily to go cup it for you to take with you! How thoughtful and lovely! The food was perfect - starting with a lovely Caesar salad. Each item was clearly thought about and nothing feels just thrown on the trays. We were VERY full. I always laugh after a high tea service because you go in thinking to yourself that they are all little bits of food and it is not THAT much food. Oh it is... And then they have a whole gift shop filled with fun things, jewelry and a whole case of chocolates! They do a lot of group events such as a Mad Hatter Tea, a Dr Who tea party and such but they sell out fast. They also fill up fast with reservations. We went on a Thursday which was much more accommodating for space. I was actually impressed also with the pricetag too - great price for a great service. I can also report that their bathroom is amazing - bravo to the steakpunk epicness it provides. I posted a few pictures that don't do justice to how glorious it is. The Octo floor is made with pennies and dimes!

This amazing place is great for special occasions and gatherings. We visited the tea house during the Covid-19 time . All waiters were very friendly and helpful. They were all wearing masks as well. Delicious sandwiches and desserts, good quality tea, beautiful tea posts and serving trays. I have told everyone about this little gem in the middle of Beaverton . Everyone is going to visit the place. Not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

You must come here! It is a tea lovers dream. Also a good resource for buying just about any variety of Harney & Sons tea. The china, tea pots, cups, decor, fresh flowers. They put so much thought into the place and it shows! And the bathroom is totally insane! Loved it!

Amazing fun decorations in thisWanna steampunk inspired tea house, Amazing teas and savory and sweet delectable treats to sample. From soup to dessert everything was perfect. The small bite size portions can fool you, we had treats to take home. Staff welcoming and made this an amazing birthday tea party. We will definitely book tea again.

Visited for the first time a couple of weeks back. The over all experience was good. The tea options were extensive and my party was happy with the choices we made. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, but they didn't check in on us often and never brought a couple of things we had asked for. The food was yummy and exciting to sample. I know it's not the venues fault, but during our meal we wanted to get a couple of pictures of the spread on our table (of course, it's beautiful and we paid for it) and two older women at a surrounding table were loudly making snide remarks demonizing us for taking a small amount pictures. It made us feel awkward and unwelcome. Overall, I'd say this is something anyone interested should experience at least once in their lifetimes! Not sure if I'll be back, but I'll recommend to others.

Going for tea time dressed up is a rare treat for me, and especially with the pandemic it's even more rare to wear anything but pajama and robes. Decided to make a visit with a friend to celebrate our time together. It took a few minutes to review the extensive menu, and it was determined as follows: Starter Egg salad on wheat Salmon puff cake with cream cheese Bistro beef stroganoff with mashed potato Quish and sausage puff pastry Scones - lemon and poppy seed, lemon curd and raspberry jam. 5 desserts Pannacotta with blackberry Fruit tart French macaron Maringe cotton candy - blue raspberry and strawberry Chocolate tulip with dulce de leche I made sure to skip breakfast for this extensive meal. The savory starter was a great way to see the quality aside from the tea. Nothing was dry to taste as though it was left out for while, which I've had issues with other establishment. I ate little bit of everything, trying to leave room for dessert. Atmosphere was dimly lit with serene setting with limited customers, but we've joked smiling behind our masks and sighed in delight as the tea was brought in. Actually I forgot to write the tea down, but I remember sharing it with my friend realizing we couldn't finish all he food - even with full hour of eating and chatting! I'm happy coffee and tea alike gets so much attention from the community, and hope to return again once I can find a prettier dress that fits me once the gym opens back up on regular cadence.

Enjoyable experience and excellent tea! Little finger sandwiches, yummy lemon curd, clotted cream and jam with little biscuits. Excellent sweets! Definitely recommend!

This place is fabulous. Adorable decor and the most scrumptious high tea service I've ever had and I've been to the empress hotel in Victoria BC. You must plan months in advance to get on list for reservations in December.

I have had afternoon tea in London and the Isle of Man. To say I am tea obsessed is an understatement and I have the bar set pretty high. This place finally met my expectations of what an afternoon tea should be! The owners are very knowledgeable about all the different kinds of teas. The pot of tea for each person came hot and stayed that way. Each delicacy on the 3 tier tray was absolute perfection. I lost count of how many times I said wow. Add in the decor and the ambiance and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for making my birthday tea a great experience.

We had such a great experience here for afternoon tea. Everything was so delicious even for my very picky husband. The tea was so delicious and the food all made on site was exceptionally filing and tasty. I can't wait to bring my kids for a girls afternoon. I'm sad that after 10 years in Beaverton it took so long to find this gem.

This is a cute husband and wife-run tea shop. The high tea started with a potato leek soup. It was a bit salty for my taste. Tea: They describe a few of the most popular tea blends. Each person selects a tea, which comes in a large pot and is kept warm on a stand with a candle. We got to-go cups to bring the left-overs home. My favorite was Paris. It had a nice black tea flavor with a hint of vanilla smoothness. The Boston and Soho had an artificial flavor reminiscent of a Tootsie roll I did not like. I think I prefer teas that taste like tea vs. flavored teas. The high tea really shines with its pastries--both sweet and savory! They served little pot pies with nice buttery crusts. The scones come with house-made clotted cream. The desserts were delicious and none were too sweet. You will not leave hungry--everyone brought home a box of unfinished goodies. For vegetarians, they just subbed an extra of a comparable veggie option (I.e. 2 veggie pot pies vs. 1 chicken and 1 veg). They sell their teas, house-made pastries and a collection of chocolates made for them--some incorporating their tea blends. Overall, one of the best high teas I've tried. They are not skimpy with their tea (nobody finished theirs), and their homemade pastries are top notch!

I love afternoon tea and have done it around the country (and world). Somehow I had the amazing luck to discover this gem of a tea emporium in the last week of their Wizarding Tea. My husband and I went this weekend and WOW! What a full on experience from the moment you walk through the door (or platform). The decor was so detail oriented, the experience was magical, the tea and food were DELICIOUS. If you're a literary nerd like me, I loved the details you just kept discovering around the room (and even the water closets!). What really sold it for me was that I have a disability and the waitstaff did not bat an eye at helping me out without any advance notice so I could really enjoy the experience. I wish I could say that's a common experience but it's not and they deserve recognition and major praise for this. I absolutely will be a repeat customer. I will come back for their events and their regular teas even though I live over two hours away. A great business is worth supporting!

The front door proclaims this a "steampunk tea house", and that's a perfect description of the vibe. One enters through the confectionary, chock-a-block with chocolates and other sweets, then it's the tea rooms. There's a tea bar to your left, and a seating area with two large tables for having that tea party with the ones you love and the ones you've been missing. Dress-up is encouraged, whether it's the aforementioned steampunk or traditional Sunday best or even a Halloween spectacular. It's all good. Pretty drinks, special foods, enthusiastic and participatory staff. Go!

We arrived and only a few tables were served. The service was very, very slow. I had to ask 3 time for a glass of champagne. We brought our 5 year old grand daughter and we were told that there were no sodas of any kind for her to order. When it came to the food, the childrens' sandwiches were the same as the adults'. You would think that if you had a child's menu they would have items for children.!! The adults sandwiches were terrible. However, the small scones 2 each were delicious. $175 for three adults one child and. 2 glasses of cheap champagne in a cold and dark room (where we were seated) was a bit much?? Understanding inflation maybe $25 and you can add a nice $6 gratuity. Someone needs to rethink this. You totally missed the boat.

This was the cutest most awesome little quaint place I've ever been to. The ladies I was with assured me everything was exactly how it was supposed to be. The decor was so adorable! Everywhere was Alice in Wonderland stuff, incredible tea pots, a corner of Dr Who, a corner of Harry Potter, and some crazy bling necklaces. Words can't even begin to do it justice. Each tea is described in detail, some have stories. Very adorable speeches. Each person gets their own pot with a warmer. The pot is quite large. They do offer to go cups if you don't finish it. You start with a delightful salad. Then everyone gets 3 cold sandwiches, 3 warm savory bites, 2 scones with clotted cream, jam, lemon curd, and dessert flown in from France. Everything was incredible. The service was wonderful. The owner comes and says hi. She's a great lady. It's a treat to go. Make sure you get a reservation way in advance. They book like crazy.

There are so many good looking choices for afternoon tea in the Portland area it was hard to pick one. I was drawn to Clockwork so that is what I picked and I am so glad I did. It's not very far from the city and parking was easy. The service was wonderful, we really enjoyed talking to the employees. They have a cute little shop in the front with cute snacks and items for purchase. The tea area is cool and has a steampunk theme. The tea selections were suburb, all of them sounded good and the ones we chose were delicious. The food items were great as well. Both my husband and I were happy with every single offering.

I loved this place! Food was delicious, bathroom was AWESOME and parking was convenient. So rare that parking is convenient...My friend and I are afternoon tea lovers and we waited to be able to eat here. It was so worth it!

Full marks! Highly highly recommend this tea emporium! The tea was delicious! As was all of the food we tried at high tea. The staff is very knowledgeable on all things tea! They were also very friendly and attentive to every table. High tea is my new favorite thing! We tried the Boston and the Wonderland tea, both were outstanding! The Boston tastes almost like an almond cookie but not too sweet. Wonderland was delightfully fruity. You can tell it's very high quality tea. This place is perfect for a day time date with your sweetie or a birthday party or just as a fun place to meet friends. Lots of people were dressed up in their best steampunk attire and others just high tea attire. So take this opportunity to dress up! Also you must take a trip to the restrooms while you're there - they are well decorated!

Witchy Tea today was perfect. The service is always great. The atmosphere is just right. The food wow! Our server Joe was the nicest and most outgoing host today!
