Cloud Cafe

I stopped by Cloud Café today and was blown away by how good the pho was. I’ve eaten a lot of pho over the years, and this was genuinely one of the best bowls I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming. The space has a relaxed, sunny vibe, and you can tell it’s a spot locals love—clean, cozy, and inviting. But the real star here is the broth. The moment it hit the table, the aroma alone told me I was in for something special. The broth was rich, clean, savory, and perfectly balanced. I didn’t need to add anything—no hoisin, no sriracha, nothing. It was already exactly how pho broth should be: deep flavor without being heavy, fragrant without being overpowering. The noodles were cooked beautifully—springy, smooth, and the right texture all the way through. The beef slices were tender and flavorful, and the beef ball was delicious, not overly dense like at some places. Fresh basil, crisp bean sprouts, and perfectly cut jalapeños rounded everything out. Honestly, everything about this bowl was spot-on. If I lived in the area, I’d be here at least once a week without question. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I ordered traditional beef pho for delivery, with extra brisket and added steamed veggies. I've ordered this many times for delivery before and never had an issue, so I'm not sure what happened this time, but I was very disappointed with what arrived to my house. I asked in the instructions for all the meat to be on the side, this way the beef won't be mixed in with the broth and I would get a decent amount of broth rather than barely a cup of it (the to go container is pretty shallow and doesn't hold much liquid). They added the beef to the broth and it wasn't extra like I had paid for, there was also two huge pieces of tendon (I believe that's what it was), which grossed me out, I'm not a fan. I also did not order tendon in my pho. Every time I have ordered this with a side of steamed veggies, it comes in a container on the side, this time it was included with the noodles, basil, beansprouts and onions. There were about 3-4 pieces of each. I can normally get two meals out of this order with the extra beef and side of veggies. But not this time. I almost was so grossed out by the tendon pieces that I had to stop eating, but I was too hungry at this point. Bummer, I had always enjoyed this place. I'll try it again one more time to see if it was just a bad day or something, but it was a big disappointment.

Amazing coffee and spring roll! The size was perfect and the taste so fresh. The staff were so kind! I loved this place. It’s hidden gem!

The freshest ingredients and delicious broth. The pho beef isn't fatty and is cooked just perfect. I appreciate the quick and super friendly service too. We come often and its always consistent. I highly recommend!

I just found this pho to be very underwhelming and bland, and it also felt like a very small amount of broth for a soup that is usually mostly broth. So just a bit disappointing. They also forgot lime— not to be too picky but thats usually one of my favorite components, and the broth just felt like it was missing something as is so was just bummed that the lime was missing too. The meat was delicious, noodles are pefect. It came quickly, but yeah no lime and maybe 2/3 the amount of broth i exepect.

This is our favorite Pho place! You can’t go wrong with a combo or traditional pho, the broth is so tasty that I drink all of it every time. I also loved the BunBoHue (central Vietnam pho), it’s a little too spicy for me but I still can’t help ordering it. We love their pho so much that we haven’t tried anything else… maybe next time. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and the service is great whether you take out or dine in. What a gem!

I ordered online, it was quick and delicious. Definitely recommend and I love the crispy crunch to the spring rolls! Healthy & refreshing!

Thai satay with traditional rare brisket pho bowl and and the lemon grass chicken vermicelli. Fantastic. I usually have more things to say in my food reviews but today I dont. I came in hungry and completely devoured my food. Added bonus that our food came out in less than 10 minutes. I usually add chilies and other things to my bowl but everything was perfectly flavored that I left no need to add anything We also ordered the chicken ban mih to go. It wasn't bad -- but ill likely focus my next orders on other items from the menu.

Finally tried this restaurant tonight because we were lazy to cook and didn't want to go to our usual pho restaurant on MLK. We ordered two traditional pho noodles and the beef broth was clean and delicious without tasting oily. My husband ordered the chicken vermicelli bowl and thought the chicken tasted uniquely great despite using the traditional lemongrass and garlic for the flavoring. Overall, the food tasted fresh and delicious! We will come back again and try other dishes on their menu. Oh, we also have to praise the excellent customer service from the young gentleman who worked the cash register and waited on all the tables! Totally didn't expect such attentive service at this type of "cafe" (pouring water and giving us extra napkins without us asking). That definitely made it a full 5 star experience! -mom of two little kids.

30 mins to wait for 1 bahn mai and phad Thai. Server was eating food at the counter. $50 for what? No apology and lousy food? Never again!

We arrived around 8:30 PM on a Monday night, close to their closing time (Google shows they close at 9 PM), but the staff was still very friendly. He kindly offered us water when we didn't want to order any of their drinks, as they were either alcoholic or caffeinated. The staff also promptly cleared our finished plates. We enjoyed the $2 off Banh Mi on Mondays and appreciated the clean environment. The Food Safety Rating was displayed as Excellent. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. Parking was easy to find in the nearby neighborhood.

Very clean and bright pho parlor on Beacon Hill that's worth the stop if in the area. The portions are large and the food is all freshly made. The pho isn't too salty and everything is made to order. The service is friendly and attentive, even when busy. Aside from all else, the prices are reasonable by Seattle pho standards these days!

Finally got to try this place and it was cute and lovely. Open, airy and bright space, order at the counter with friendly staff, fresh well flavored food. The garlic chicken wings were crispy, salty perfection. The lemongrass flavoring for the vermicelli beef was fantastic. My son also had the pho but I forgot to photograph it - the broth especially was delicious. Great Beacon Hill addition.

After a long weekend out, this combo pho soothed my soul. Compared to the popular pho bac, it's not as spice heavy, but the broth feels very clear and clean and not as oily or thick as some other pho broths I've had around the area. It's a simple pho that does the job.

I came here on a weekday around 6ish looking for some pho. I was able to order at the counter and get seats immediately. I've tried many pho places around town and Cloud Cafe definitely ranked up near the top! I got the traditional pho with rare beef and it was excellent. The broth was light but filling and the beef was super tender. Definitely stop by if you're in the Beacon Hill area. Also, there's a handful of parking spots in front of the restaurant so you may also get lucky with parking which is nice!

Came in on a rainy night and the traditional pho really hit the spot! Served as is, the noodles were a bit clumpy, but they separated easily enough in the hot broth. Another note: compared to pho places in Metro Van, all the toppings are portioned out already (unlike at home, where it's usually a plate on the side and you decide how much Thai basil, bean sprouts, etc. you want). I didn't mind this actually as I tend to overdo it with the bean sprouts, haha. I also got the mango green tea with boba/pearls. The tea was great -- exactly what I was craving! The pearls needed to be cooked longer though. They weren't chewy enough. Service was friendly and the bright atmosphere matched. If I lived in this neighbourhood, I think Cloud Cafe would be one of my regular spots!

Cute cafe but mediocre service and food. I didn't feel like going out so I placed an order online for pick up. The app said my food was ready. When I went to pick up my order, staff said it wasn't ready. They said they don't control or update the online status and jt would be another 45 mins. I ask to cancel my order and they said they can't but would rush my order. You can tell sit in customer had an impatient look on their eyes and customer getting told their bubble tea was out. 25 min after the app said my food available they handed me another customer order. I realized this once I was outside. Had to wait again. Over a hour after I had placed my order I was finally home. The noodle was soggy, the beef was not rare and I'm sure my pretty sure my extra noodle and beef was missed. Definitely was a disappointment after craving pho all evening.

I wish they offered more ingredients to add to my pho... it's pretty basic but definitely hit the spot cause I was surely hungry on this Sunday afternoon. The Vietnamese coffee was sure tasty though.

The food is amazing! We got Pho & edamame. The cashier/server was very friendly & I loved the atmosphere inside. Super aesthetically pleasing

TLDR- this is your average ID Pho restaurant. There not pushing the flavor envelope. Or offering anything new or unique here. And sometimes you just want average. If that's how your feeling you'll be happy.

Yummy food, good service, reasonable prices, and good ambiance. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options (small menu overall but you can substitute tofu for most dishes). Even the packaging for takeout is pretty nice! I'll definitely be back.

Surprisingly, the pho here is exceptional. I typically reserve that title for the hole in the wall restaurants where you are certain the food is amazing. Seems to be a fusion Asian restaurant but predominantly focuses on Vietnamese food. Such a close drive to my house and fulfills all my soup needs on those days you need something warm in your stomach. Small interior with semi complicated parking so I'd recommend finding a spot further into the residential area and walking over as it is on a busy street. You order first at the counter and then seat yourself. The first time we came here we LOVED our food. Brisket pho with added meats, and a pork lemongrass bánh mì which was to die for. The second time however, our bánh mì was cold- to the point where the fat in the sandwich was congealed and I could feel the cold meats as I was chewing. This was understandably disappointing because I don't expect cold food when I dine in. Haven't gone back since but if the consistency was there for me this would have easily been 5 stars across the board.

Average quality pho. Food was a bit on the salty side with strong taste of MSG. Hygiene was questionable.

This place is too expensive for the quality and taste of food I have received Got it. When describing the taste, you might say something like: "The flavors of the pho combination and garlic wings fell short of expectations, as they lacked the vibrant and bold tastes typically associated with these dishes. The broth in the pho lacked depth, and the garlic wings were under-seasoned, resulting in a rather bland overall experience." NEVER COMING BACK. Idk how this place is in business. Because this place is a disgrace to Vietnamese food.

This has been the most expensive pho I've ever paid for, but it's also the cleanest tasting pho I've had in a long time. Decided to try to place out after driving by it so many times the past month or two. It's a small little restaurant that has a bright and clean ambience. It's pretty quiet when there's only a couple customers, but when the house is packed... man, can it get loud. I felt like I had to start shouting once the dinner rush came in. So you order ahead at the counter and grab a table afterwards. The menu is fairly simple with appetizers, banh mi sandwiches, vermicelli bowls, pho, and drinks. Went with the pork belly baos as a starter and got the beef pho bowl. Pork belly bao had a small piece of meat in it and a slice of apple surprisingly. The sauce brought it all together and it was good. I don't think it's worth getting with the the small piece of meat that was in it. The beef pho was pretty good. Bean sprouts was already added to the bowl so there wasn't a side dish of veggies to add basil, bean sprouts, lime juice, or jalepenos to your liking. What's in the bowl is what you get I guess. I have to give props to the broth here. It was so clean and tasted wonderful. The amount of meat and noodles in the bowl felt like the right amount. It wasn't too little or too much of either. Very nice. The hoisin and sriracha sauces were available, but I didn't want to ruin the broth by adding them in. Even though the pho broth was good, I don't know if I want to pay such a hefty price for that again. I could probably get talked into it though haha!

The place was decent, customer service was adequate, and the food was "so-so" according to my hubby. I personally liked what I ordered, albeit the salt content was pretty high. What, you thought? Yeah, I was super thirsty after eating. You know, the unquenchable type of thirst. Mind you, I had a glass of water and ordered a boba drink, when I got home I still felt thirsty throughout the night. The 3 stars is for the taste, hmmm I'm kind of agreeing with my hubby that it should be a 2 star. Sorry, not really. The size of the pho is smaller compared to other pho places we've been. Please cut the salt content, recylce older drinking glass, and tidy up the place a bit more.

Pad Thai too sweet, pho broth lacking flavoring, Vietnamese coffee taste bad... won't come back

Cloud Cafe is what Beacon Hill has been missing for many years - a pho shop! For OG Beacon Hillers, Cloud Cafe is in the old hair salon, Chop House, right across from El Centro. The owners are from Beacon Hill so it feels good supporting a legacy family and very local business. They have a smaller menu but I believe it's because they are still in their soft opening phase. Items are on the pricier side, but everything I tried was delicious. The pork belly bao is my favorite dish. It had a Granny Smith slice in it which was a unique and flavorful combo. The satay pho is also a highlight, slightly spicy but extremely flavorful.

Decided to try this place out but upon walking in we weren't greeted. Then was told to order upfront and pay. If we had been greeted it would have been nice at least to let us know that we would have to order up front rather then just sitting there and not knowing anything Bun Bo hue: This was poorly made. Soup was bland no flavor but a taste of black pepper & chili. Pork belly was hard to chew, brisket or flank that they used was extremely chewy, they had Vietnamese meat loaf in random chunks of cuts. I would not order this again. I couldn't really eat it.

Cloud Cafe is an order at the counter and they will bring you your food kind of restaurant. It's a cute small place at the corner, that is very bright from natural lighting. The workers this day were friendly and the food came out fairly quick. I ordered the chicken fried rice and I thought it was OK. The rice was a little mushy and there were too many peas for my liking. I probably wouldn't order it again, and would try something else.

Updating my review from their soft opening where there were still some course growing pains. I've returned now twice, and the experience has only continued to improve. The service and care from the staff has always been top notch, but now the service comes with a robust and flavorful menu that has just the right number of items for variety without losing thoughtful execution of any individual item. If I have one complaint left, it's that they're frequently out of bubble tea because of such high demand!

Great vibe. It doesn't have plenty of sitting but it's a good place to get some pho. The serving is perfect. It's on the pricey side but that's seattle I guess. The spring roll serving is okay. I wouldn't get it again. Satay has a curry paste taste. Mala was my favorite. I wish the meat was fattier. The server also didn't seem enthused but maybe he was just stressed out? It was a busy Thursday night I suppose. I'm glad they opened up a pho place nearby. It's not something I would go to everyday because of the price but if I'm craving a quick pho I'll definitely be back.

Great service and good food. The Pho isn't the strongest broth in town but it hits the spot. And, all the offerings are fresh tasting. But what earns it 5 stars are the exceptionally nice staff, reasonable prices, and the short time between ordering and getting your food whether dining in or picking up. We visit frequently for lunch and dinner.

I'm delighted to have such a great pho spot on Beacon Hill! We eat at Cloud Cafe regularly and it's always been delicious. Cloud Cafe has a bright, clean space, and friendly staff make it even better.

Pho is delicious, comes with everything already in the bowl. Good amount of meat and noodles and the broth is good. Nice clean tables and cute decor. The employees are very helpful and nice.

Super cute small restaurant with limited parking space. It's kind of in a triangle shape at the corner of a block so you can easily miss where to turn but there's good signage. Service was polite. Small menu but captures the basics. They may have been understaffed so the cleaning could be improved but we also came when it wasn't prime time. It's good food but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. If I was in the area, I would try it again.

The pho was really good. I know... then why are you giving it a 3 stars? Sadly, there wasn't enough food. It was already a small bowl and the pho for both of our bowls were filled only half way. I guess I also wanted to put in the veggies by myself because I don't like jalapeños... I also like fresh Thai basil and unfortunately it was cooked and wilted in there. 3 stars is just for how little food we got. Everything else was fine and the pho was actually really good.

Was eager to try this place. Great food. Smelled good from the street. My husband was meeting me and told me to order whatever. Got noodles for me, spring roll to share and beef pho for him. We liked all of it. Happy to have another tasty option in the neighborhood.

We've been waiting for a pho restaurant in Beacon Hill for so long! For lunch my husband and I ordered a bowl of Satay pho, grill pork roll, and pork belly buns. I love the buns the most. It is soft from the outside and the meat inside is not greasy like other places. I will come back to support this local business!

The place isn't so bad, however a couple of things. The pho selection is a bit limited and they everything into your bowl (bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc) and they don't give you lime. Plus the place doesn't offer fish sauce. Also the coffee is ridiculous for $6. It comes in a little 8oz cup with half foam....

Great addition to the hill. Thus far I have tried the tofu fresh rolls (yum) and the tofu banh mi sandwich. Very delicious and a very cute setting.

The coconut curry was amazing. The pho was tasty, but I wish they offered a smaller size.

Great crab Rangoon and fab bahn mi. We drive from north Seattle for this place. Pork fried rice also fab. Can't really go wrong.

I got the cloud coffee and it was literally a shot of espresso and maybe a bit of cream on 15 cubes of ice in a hot cup with no lid. The amount of time it took to receive my drink was more than the ounces in the cup. The service was subpar, and everything was way too overpriced. Never coming here again. The coffee wasn't even good. I threw it away immediately.

Stumbled upon this place after a climb and decided to give it a try. We got the traditional pho, shrimp spring rolls, pork spring rolls, fried egg roll, and the tiger milk tea with boba. The pho had a really good broth with tons of flavor. The spring rolls were super good and very filling. I love when spring rolls have the crunch factor of fried rice paper in it. It was some of the best spring rolls I've had in a while. Also the fried egg roll was very delicious as well! It came hot and crispy and it's packed with the pork filling! It came with a little veggies on the side and that was a perfect pairing to offset the pork. Then comes the boba, the tiger milk tea was a bit more on the watery side and the boba was a bit firm somewhat undercooked but it was still drinkable. The service was really quick and easy and the place has super cute cloud overhead lights! Definitely aesthetically pleasing.

I've visited this restaurant twice now, and both visits I've consistently felt the food was 4/5 stars but the service and overall experience has been 3/5. When you enter, no one greets or acknowledges you. There's also no clear indication that it is counter service, so unless you know that, you could sit at a table for a long time thinking someone will come by. When ordering at the counter, the staff is very curt. On my first visit, they were out of the drink I'd ordered and rather than offering alternatives the man behind the counter just told me they were out for the few options I tried asking about. The staff does not seem to want to help you as the customer. The Pho and bao buns have been okay, but not the most flavorful I've had in Seattle and given the prices I wasn't impressed. Pho had pretty clumpy noodles and minimal meat. Overall this seems like a fine place to visit if you're in the area, but I would not go out of my way to try it and in the future I will choose other places.

Great food, I absolutely loved what I got. But the thing that stood out was the customer service. The young guy working was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and at a fast rate.

Had their traditional pho and it was very good! Good quality beef brisket and noodles were perfect. Was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the broth. So glad there's another pho spot in the area. Will definitely come back!

I love pho and wanted to try the new restaurant in my neighborhood. The broth was not as flavorful as most Vietnamese restaurants I've tried within a 3 mile radius of my home. The noodles were packed with the hot broth; even tho it was not in the broth the steam overcooked the noodles (I ordered to go). Anytime I order pho to go the noodles are in a separate together. I know they are a new restaurant and I hope they can take the constructive criticism especially considering the amount of established Vietnamese restaurants in our area that have really good pho. I also had the chicken bun, the chicken was a little dry, a tone of cilantro on one but not the other and it could have used a bit more sauce. The bread was perfect. I will try again in a few months.

Came back to try their pork banh mi and OMG. It was so tender and flavorful. The bread was perfectly fluffy, crispy and warm. Normally, banh mi bread is hard but they had it toasted to perfection. Will definitely be back for more!!

A clean, delicious Vietnamese cafe in a hidden neighborhood. The food here is delicious! Highly recommend it to stop by if you're in the area. It's reasonably priced compared to a couple of higher end restaurants within walking distance.

Theres better pho around the neighborhood for cheaper. The service was decent, we had to order upfront and then we could sit down at our table. First pho spot I've been too where they add the bean sprouts, jalapeños, and lime for you. No water was given to us until I asked a second time. These are the guys that opened up Baegopa KBBQ in Chinatown, one of the cheapest KBBQ I've been too where they don't even want to serve you rice so I can see how they're similar.

Not bad I had a vegetarian pho and enjoyed it. I did take out but I feel it would be worth eating there. The service was friendly.
