The 17 Best Spots For Iced Coffee In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you’d like to guzzle a small beverage that packs a mighty punch of caffeine, go for Cloud City’s black sugar iced espresso. With a double shot, a jolt of smoky black sugar syrup, and a splash of cream, it’s a delicious way to sample the notes of Cloud City’s homemade roast. The 19 Best Coffee Shops In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"On any given weekday morning, the corner of Roosevelt and NE 88th is so packed that it might as well be Capitol Hill Block Party. Instead of Charli XCX, Remi Wolf, or a DJ who shrouds their identity with a silly helmet, the people are there for Cloud City in Maple Leaf. The crowd spills out onto their makeshift sidewalk-parking-lot patio—hungover adults, families with their dogs, and so very many strollers. But is it worth the wait and floating pet dander? Yes. Cloud City’s homemade roast is some of the best coffee north of Lake Union. We look forward to the seasonals—like pumpkin spice lattes that don’t taste like Home Goods, or a black sugar-spiked doubleshot in the summer that feels like your soul is dancing the Electric Slide." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

Cloud City Coffee - Review - Maple Leaf - Seattle - The Infatuation

"If you’d like to guzzle a small beverage that packs a mighty punch of caffeine, we love Cloud City’s black sugar iced espresso. With a double shot, a jolt of smoky black sugar syrup, and a splash of cream, it’s a delicious way to sample the notes of Cloud City’s homemade roast. You might feel like your soul is dancing the Electric Slide outside of your own body, but it’s a small tradeoff. And if you'd like a reasonable amount of caffeination, Cloud City has plenty of other standard (and tasty) coffee drinks, as well as vegan donuts we'd drive across town to snack on." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
This is a strong pick! It’s a coffee shop with Hella hipster vibes, and an honor coffee bar, which was a first for me! They also have a variety of food options with a main focus on breakfast sandwiches. One critique: their b drip coffee is a little too rich for my liking.

Google
A happy, friendly, neighborhood coffee place with yummy baked goods and food. I can't say enough about their coffee, it is absolutely delicious. I was staying in the neighborhood and I made a daily trek to enjoy their excellent and consistent coffee. They have vegan and GF options for food which I really appreciated. The drip coffee is just $2! Very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of seating space outside.

Google
Love the local vibes. They have nice coffee and really good pastries as well. Their space is perfect for a relaxing coffee with friends and family, or to get some work done on the laptop. If you have a batch brew coffee for dining in, you simply serve yourself as much coffee as you like 😃

Google
I love this place. Delicious, friendly, cozy, affordable. No matter how you like your coffee, they do it well, from the $2 drip, to specialty seasonal drinks, to single origin beans to take home. And did I mention the drip is only $2!? Also, while pricier, I love to spring for their baked goods, the nutella croissant is my particular weakness. I also appreciate that they are open longer and later than almost any other comparable place in the area, and they’ve been around a while. Support this wonderful neighborhood spot. ❤️

Google
Lovely 7:30am breakfast here :) The black sesame latte was deliciously heavy on the sesame, and not too sweet, which paired perfectly with oat milk. Their vegan coconut ube muffin is absolutely scrumptious, as is their knockout vegan breakfast sammie and biscuits & gravy. Slather them with hot sauce for a real morning wake up! Definitely coming back again to try more baked goodies and specialty drinks :)

Google
Wow! I love this place. I've been working remotely this past week and needing to keep East Coast hours. This is one of the only places that opens at 6am, so I'm grateful for the space to come grab a great cup of coffee before most people are up and about. Their croissants and other pastries are delicious and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They even have power (plugs at EVERY table) on their covered outdoor porch, so you can set up shop and enjoy all they have to offer for hours at a time.

Google
Busy, always delicious espressos. Large open waiting area to the sidewalk from the cafe. Recycling, "library," of coffee thermoses you can burrow & return for free! Also serves bakery goods, large dining area with 2 bathrooms you don't need a key to use. Wonderful service! Free street parking

* ☕️: 9/10. For coffee, I ordered the Iced Brown Sugar Cardamom Latte, I honestly don’t know what that is, but I just wanted as I wanted to surprise. honestly the espresso shot tasted great and blended really well with the cardamom!! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich, sausage cheese and egg on everything bagel! Tasted amazing!! Very solid and filling. * 🧑🏻‍🍳: 7/10. Great service and I went on a Saturday morning, very busy so waited quite a while for my breakfast sandwich. But worth it! * 📍: 8/10. Located in a nice neighborhood, I love the open door design and it was so nice when the sun shines thru.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my time here. I got a hot maple leaf latte with oat milk and it was amazing. The right amount of sweet maple, not too overpowering. I also got the chocolate chip banana bread which was good, but I wish it was warmed or toasted. They didn't offer and I didn't ask so I'm not sure if that's an option here. The staff was very friendly and there were a variety of seating types which was great to get /9'e light work done. Very position atmosphere.

Yelp
on a cloudy seattle saturday morning, it felt like half of maple leaf was at cloud city. adults, kids, toddlers, couples: the line was out the door. we got coconut bread and ube coconut bread. both very good, moist and coconutty, which you want when you're getting something billed as coconut. i also had the iced cardamom latte which was very sweet and had no noticeable taste of cardamom, hence one star off. (for the record, i'm on team cardamom and there can never be too much of it in anything as far as i'm concerned, but i honestly didn't taste any.) a handful of tables inside. if you want one, go early. some outside seating as well. they were pumping out drinks, bagged pastries and to go orders at a reasonable rate given the line so this is obviously a tried and true place in the neighborhood.

Yelp
We came to Cloud City as a party of 2 on a Sunday morning. This was my first time, but I have admired their amazing sign for years! It was crowded but the service was fast. I was admiring all their merch while in line. We ordered an espresso and a maple drink. Perfect for a chilly morning. One thing about Cloud City I really like is that they have a free mug library. You can borrow reusable drink ware and even donate some of your own. The world needs to know this! Our visit was short and sweet! Check them out!

Yelp
Had a mostly good experience, with a couple of things that stood out--both positively and negatively. The ube coconut loaf was a standout--moist, flavorful, and a pleasant surprise on the menu. Lattes were solid, the smoky steak and brie sandwich was okay, but the crispy cucumber salad was a highlight. On the service side, things could have been better. While the baristas got our drinks out in a reasonable time, the vibe felt off. At one point, we overheard staff gossiping about another customer's request, which isn't something you want to hear as a guest. Overall, there are some great menu items here, and I'd come back for the ube loaf alone. Just hoping for a more welcoming atmosphere next time!

Yelp
Disappointed. I had a BLT sandwich, cup of clam chowder, and a peppermint mocha. You walk in and it's a buzz of people and staff. You walk up and order then wait. My coffee is tasteless. Well, there's an "essence" to it but not really sweet or minty. The sandwich looks great on the website, but it's skinny with minimal ingredients. Then the clam chowder is super thin with the tiniest particles of what makes up a clam chowder. It's too loud with the music to study or work well, it's too crowded to get comfortable. The staff really only answered one question for me but I saw they were quite friendly to people who go there often or that they know. My only thing is the food and drink. If there was more flavor, even more lettuce in the BLT, I'd probably have been fine. But I got a dry, tasteless sandwich and a dry tasteless coffee with a thin clam chowder to eat it with. Sad, because from what I can see, they can do so much better. It kind of bothered me that I saw a staff member take a knife full of avocado spread and smash it on what appears to be his lunch, but no gloves. Everyone else wore gloves, so I thought that was nice. Just random staff member, making his lunch and the food sanitation rules out the door.

Yelp
Delicious baked goods I also liked there breakfast the gravy was sooo good and the coffee was very nice not too sweet it's a very family friendly place so a tad noisy and crowded but I took all my stuff to go it was sooo good

Yelp
Incredibly friendly staff. Outdoor seating was a calming experience for Sunday morning. Obviously it was busy at that time. Just a touch overwhelming for a first time visitor but overall a very nice place. Saw someone else order a croissant that seemed to reign from heavens own bakery. Would like to order that next time. I got an iced latte. Exactly as expected. Got a fun free sticker too.

Yelp
I placed an order online so I cant speak much to the customer service informatively. There is ample street parking. I got a make your own breakfast sandwich and the seasonal iced cranberry matcha. The matcha was the perfect balance of tea and sweetness for me. They have a variety of sandwiches you chose from our "make you own" I chose to do a bacon egg and cheese on sourdough. The bacon is a really great thick bacon, the Mayo is nice and flavorful and overall it was a great sandwich, however, it was a bit surprising that it was actually only half a sandwich and not a full sandwich which I didn't see indicates in the menu at all. So that was a bit disappointing but it was delicious nonetheless. I got my sandwich on sourdough and a PNW pet peeve of mine is that places call bread sourdough but it's more of an Italian style bread, not shake on this business as it is just what occurs here, but I am always on the look out for a breakfast Sammy with real sourdough, so I think it's important to let other sourdough snobs know as well. I'd definitely come back for the sandwich and the matcha!

Yelp
Great staff and atmosphere. The coffee is incredible and you should try the coconut bread. I need to learn how to make this bread. The atmosphere is really nice and the breakfast sandwiches are made to order. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Got a matcha latte w espresso today. Very solid! It's the first cafe I've tried in Seattle, and I'm off to a good start. The vibes are pretty good in here. Will try chaga latte next time!

Yelp
I went to this place 2 days in a row and really liked it! The second day was a bit rough, and probably more of a 3 star day. Food is delicious, but my order was all wrong. I had asked for a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, and instead got English muffin, but it was honestly so good i didn't mind. I also got a latte with oat milk, and while drinking it, I wondered what kind of oat milk is this? It's so good! But i think they used real milk, judging by my multiple trips to the bathroom in the following hour. Next time I will specify it's for a milk allergy. The seating is cute, outdoors and bright without total direct sunlight. I think it could be improved with a fan for some airflow. Good local place :)

Yelp
The best coffee spot in the neighborhood. The breakfast sandwiches are straightforward, no frills but tasty.

Yelp
How I heard of this place: Back in 2018, we attended Soccer Shots at the Maple Leaf Park and Playground across the street. The parking lot was always bustling, so we finally made our way in for a post-game treat. Type of cuisine: A simple cafe with typical coffee/espresso and children's beverages, small bites and treats, and more. Ambiance: Set in a home on the corner of a busy street, the space is somewhat compact, but warm and generally welcoming. Tables and chairs are available, as well as a corner for children to read, play and engage with peers and families amid white walls with light decorations. What I ordered: A complete with whipped cream & rainbow sprinkles hot chocolate for the little one, and a mocha for me. What I loved: The family friendly, neighborhood feeling inside. It seemed that folks from around the neighboring houses took their morning walk and ended up here. The whole, entire neighborhood. Why I loved it: Family friendly environment despite the very milky, vanilla (plain) beverages. Cost: Average ($3-$6 per beverage depending on size/item).

Yelp
My favorite go to is the coffee with a peanut butter cookie or morning glory muffin. Great neighborhood vibe!

Yelp
There is plenty of street parking and some parking in front of shop. Lots of merchandise to purchase (cups, coffee, shirt, etc). They have a full breakfast and lunch menu. They have a cup library and honor system coffee bar. Highly recommend stopping in. There is a changing table in the bathroom; because of seating in the shop it would be challenging maneuvering a stroller. They have gluten free and vegan food items on menu.

H L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Delicious coffees, sandwhiches and sweet treats and it is conveniently located near Maple Leaf Reservoir. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the service can be pretty slow/long wait times. Other than that, it would be 5 stars in my book. Cute ambiance though can get very crowded inside since it is small.

Yelp
I was really into this place before . However it's definitely downgrading from great service to miserable . I been getting a maple leaf latte often . But my coffee was made horrible in my recent visit and I was treated like crap . I complained about the flavor politely to the "manager " of the coffee area . It was a young girl with glasses . Cashier told me to approach them to "fix the drink "... I went to explain that my coffee was not tasty , had a bunch of milk , no good flavor or coffee taste . She went to give me a pump of maple syrup . Ok " I gave it a try . Then it was worse . So I added a shot of coffee* I had to purchase . Still no good flavor . They should definitely review their service to clients & how organize they are satisfying the customers . They seem to only want to finish their drinks and go after business & or baristas more on the socializing among them selves , not paying attention to details of drinks . I been here before . This is the WORST. It's more for a popularity *** kinda place . It's very disorganized. I wouldn't waste my money again . Please try your beverage before leaving , It's a waste of money . Although it's somewhat renovated .. but crowded and getting more worse in service .

Yelp
Mommy and daughter mornings are becoming 'a thing' for us. She really enjoys coming here for their delicious breakfast sandwiches; croissants in particular. Their cookies are super yummy too! On this particular day, Martin Luther King Day was being celebrated. Because we mentioned it, the wonderful barista made my week by comping my latte. I was filled with hope and accepted the love being received. We've been here many times, but this particular day reminded me to review them for being so awesome. The customer service is always welcoming and calm. The overall energy of the space welcomes people of all walks of life. You'll find posters and flags supporting BIPOC, and information on scholarships, local Girl Scout sales, animal healing, and so much more. The vibe here is different and a great reminder of why difference should be embraced.

Yelp
I had the best tuna sandwich here today. Excellent! Also, the new outdoor seating is lovely! Let's in the sun and keeps us dry.

Yelp
Always good food and coffee, and welcoming atmosphere. Great for kids. A neighborhood institution

Yelp
Maple Leaf Latte with coconut milk added is delicious! First time I tried it. Not very sweet nor bitter. Just moderate taste. Perfect for a cold morning. Service is great and fast! Very cozy place to study or drink or eat.

Yelp
Came in here on a whim. It always looked busy, so I thought it has to be good! And I was right! LOL Their coffee was excellent, and I tried their apple pie. Oh man, sooo good! Cool ambience, VERY friendly staff and just an overall good experience! I will love to come back! Thanks!

Yelp
I'm so happy that nothing important has changed about the experience here in my decade of absence. Everything tastes great, everyone is friendly, there's lots of good seating. Parking sucks but that's not their fault. Don't leave here without a slice of their coconut bread- I've never met its equal.

Yelp
Was in the area for a couple of hours and was looking for an espresso place were I could sit, read, and spend some good time while waiting. Unfortunately Ravenna's Cafe Ladro was closed so I pulled up Yelp and I found this place, which was actually closer to the location I needed to be at. Once I got there I was not sure if the place was what I was looking for, because there is no sign or I couldn't see any, and the place looks a bit run down, but I peeked in and sure enough it was it. Got my usual cortado, which came with sparkling water, similar to how cafe ladro serves it, great! Preparation is quite slow, but whatever, it seems to be the norm around here. I'm used to the speed of Italian baristas in italy and omg there's no competition... in italy they are so fast! Anyway, I get my drink and I sit down outside under a canopy. The cortado is delicious and I spend some productive time reading undisturbed. I peeked at the food, but I couldn't see anything that seemed worth the sugar/calorie intake, so I passed. Anyway, I enjoyed the drink and the ambience, even if it showed its age.

Yong Hyun E.

Yelp
I used to go there many times per week but at some point I realized that baristas are not looking at my orders. Hope they understand the difference between 1/4 syrup and full syrup. I threw away my coffee again today and this is my 3rd time experiencing this. So disappointing
google avatar

Yelp
Drink (4/5): I love getting a cup of coffee and talking around maple leaf. The latte was well balanced between the sweetness of the vanilla and the bitterness of the coffee. It honestly depends on the barista who is making your drink. Most of the time, my coffee comes out delicious. Service and location (4/5): Recently, the barista messed up my order and gave me an iced latte rather than an iced vanilla latte. But other than that it is a great neighborhood cafe that has outdoor seating (due to covid). They have a one-way flow (due to covid) and have customers wait outside for their orders to maintain social distancing. The location of the cafe is perfect where it is within walking distance of Maple Leaf Park. Parking (4/5): Parking to go to Cloud City can be a doozy because they do have parking but it is less than 10 spots and can be difficult to get in and out. There is also street parking but on a busy day, it can be extremely difficult to find a parking spot. But eventually, you will find one. I also recommend parking closer to the park and walking there as well. - Please vote below, comment, and like the photos to give me feedback on my reviews - For more reviews and photos, follow my instagram: @nvc.eats

Yelp
Visiting from out of town. Not a big review writer, BUT: coffee was fantastic (for snobs and non-snobs alike), breakfast sandwich was simple and done perfect (get the bacon), coconut bread is a showstopper. Fair prices -- not busy on a weekday morning. Sat outside for a little. Great balance of friendly, quality coffee bean and food.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times and it's never disappointed! The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the vibe is fantastic (though I've never eaten in). Any food orders can take a while during busy periods, so just be aware of that. As for specific food items, the breakfast sandwiches are so good, and filling (I usually eat them over two breakfasts) and I can't stop ordering the turkey club wrap, it's that good. I definitely recommend this for a nice beverage and a bite!
google avatar

Catherine E.

Yelp
Have been coming to this place for years, and even when I moved to a neighborhood further away I make a point to come visit because of the great coffee and delicious breakfast sandwiches! Love this place even more after today, my partner dropped his wallet while we were eating here and didn't realize until we got home. Even though they were closed when I went back to check for it, an employee was still inside and kindly let me in and let me know they had found the wallet and had been looking for a way to contact us! SO grateful to cloud city for providing not only great food but a great community!
google avatar

Emili A.

Yelp
Stopped by for a lunch and pretty decent! I am probably out of touch but the food prices have gotten pricey as two drinks and two sandwiches were $32 before tip. We got a breakfast sandwich, turkey club wrap, vanilla latte, and mocha. Lots of street/general parking spots and even more room to sit outside (undercover) to work on some things if the weather allows. Overall a good lunch! Food (4.5/5) Breakfast sandwich was a small little snack and pretty tasty but sort of overpriced. Turkey club wrap had such great texture from the bacon and really fresh tasting! Coffee (4/5): the vanilla latte was pretty good. Not super strong but not weak either. The iced mocha was just ok. The chocolate syrup was really overpowering but my sister really liked it (so it might just be a preference thing).

Mic A.

Yelp
Very nice, loved it there a lot. I ordered a chai because cc recommended it and it tasted very nice. great service. i've been back a few times but haven't seen cc since. single?

Yelp
The iced caramel latte was probably one of the best beverages I have had. The sausage and egg sandwich was good. There wasn't anything special about it, nothing that made me immediately order another one but it was okay. The service was fast, efficient and very friendly!

B T.

Yelp
My vote for the best espresso beverages in Seattle! Velvety foam, proprietary beans, cheerful service and a wonderful selection of house made food offerings. The baristas take great pride in their bar skills. Highest recommendation in a coffee centric city. ~Will

Yelp
Solid spot, there are definitely things about Cloud City that would make me want to return. The atmosphere is so cute and charming. Fairly easy to find parking and adorable neighborhood. Solid coffee. I ordered the quiche and it was really lacking. It's crustless, which they don't tell you, and it was dried out at the sides.. not the best. Also kind of hard to find a table. Overall, good experience and would return.

Yelp
Rude and ignorant employee gave me attitude which is a bummer cause I normally like this place. Then my breakfast sandwich order was wrong, missing cheese and bacon which never happens. Sesame latte was fantastic though. Hope the employees feel better next time!
google avatar

Bo L.

Yelp
Excellent cafe. Stephanie, the manager and their staff always goes above and beyond with customer service, dietary needs, and product knowledge. I made a mistake ordering a beverage and ordered another one and they refunded me for the first order. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating to the needs of families and are very hard workers. My food is delicious and it's a great menu. I highly recommend Cloud City and supporting local. 10 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
This is our go-to place to get coffee. They have a great outdoor space out front & their coffee is so good. Highly recommend the maple latte with 50% less sugar & their cinnamon rolls are amazing! Also if you bring your punch card you'll get a free drink after buying 10 drinks. Definitely recommend checking them out!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my word. Let me start by stating an opinion of mine: most flavored lattes are just fine. They are often too sweet for me, too synthetic, and the flavors often don't (to me) play well with the natural notes of coffee. It usually feels like it's masking it. Now for a fact: cloud city's black sesame latte is a flavored latte that compliments coffee, adds to its richness and is so so absolutely decadent. It's flavorful and creamy and I could probably drink one every day. The texture is fun, and you get such a big hit of sesame. Thanks for creating a flavored coffee drink just suited to my taste! Their baked goods and breakfast sandwiches are also amazing. Can't wait to go back, and thanks for the covid safe seating and whole situation

Yelp
Simple professional work. Had an egg nog latte that was well-balanced, not too sweet- hard to pull off, but they did!

Yelp
The cold day called for a hot pick-me-up, but the mobile order I placed was set out in a cubby to be chilled by the cold outside air. I didn't receive a notification that the order was ready, so it sat there for who knows how long. I'm not a regular here so I didn't know that's where to find my order. To add to the bummer, the vanilla donut I ordered was subbed for a raspberry glazed chocolate donut. No attempt to let me know the kind I ordered was unavailable, so we just paid for a donut that went in the trash. The coconut bread was ok, but I wouldn't recommend this shop overall.

Sharon M.

Yelp
I just have to say Amazing! Bliss inducing coconut bread! Stopped in off I5 very early this morning after quick check for good coffee as we drove south (we don't do Starbucks, etc.) Your café was warm and inviting, staff friendly and made quick work of our order, 2 coffees, a breakfast sandwich and coconut bread of which I'm left wanting more of. It was delicate, moist, not to sweet and filled with chewy coconut and crunchy walnuts. Probably a good thing I live 2+ hours away. Please tell whomever made the bread they have a fan for life.

Yelp
Let me speak for the coffee - GET THE BLACK SESAME LATTE. The experience when using the Joe mobile ordering app was a little hit and miss. The coffees were ready far later than the app promised. The app said they were out of Oat milk and made me choose almond, but when I got to the shop to get my latte they said they no longer served almond milk and only had oat.... One of the drinks I ordered comes with Oat milk but the app still gave me the option to change the milk to Oat for an additional $1....It was kind of a mess. But perhaps that's just because the app just went through an update? In any case, the black sesame latte was fabulous. Not too sweet. Interesting flavor. Both drinks could have came out warmer, so I might make the leap to ordering them extra hot next time...they were kind of lukewarm at best. But TASTY. And the Golden Milk Latte was our other beverage - one of the best golden milk lattes I've ever had. 10/10 on drink flavor. 8/10 Barista kindess 6/10 Joe app experience (which I desperately hope improves because I love mobile ordering on my way to the shop!)

Yelp
First they messed up our order and then she said I will remake it. They then put us in as a regular order and we had to wait for all the other people ahead of us before we got our order. Customer service is important. We waited double the time for a mistake they made. Also when I asked if she knew when our order was coming the girl at the front acted slightly annoyed. They will need to step up the customer service if they don't want people to go to the new bakery right up the street. Steve reached out and was concerned with the experience and that says a lot to me. So that earns some stars. Thank you Steve.

Yelp
Deliciously crafted coffee drinks, friendly service and limited parking! I do appreciate the outdoor seating too!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped in to grab breakfast and a few sweet treats before a hike this past weekend. Their breakfast sandwich was great as usual, but I tried their new caramel apple bread and it simply was not good. So dry, and no caramel or apple flavors. I usually really like their sweet treats (esp cookies and coconut bread) but this was definitely a miss. Perhaps this was a bad batch but I recommend steering clear of this one.

Yelp
I remembered a better Cloud City from years ago, but times do change. Or perhaps it was an off day. Stopped in for an afternoon coffee and snack. Their Specials board was full of intriguing sounding beverages, and I went with the Black Sesame Latte (back by popular demand!) and a piece of sundried tomato parmesan quiche. My husband ordered a matcha mocha-type drink and a cookie. He devoured his cookie and the rest of my quiche which I found very bland. Personally, I prefer a flakier quiche crust (and more flavor!). I would not order the quiche again. The matcha was much sweeter than expected, but I really liked the flavor of the black sesame latte. Both beverages were very chalky. Not sure if this is normal? It seemed like maybe they hadn't been mixed properly. Did not find chewing coffee to be very enjoyable, and I discarded my last sip as a choking hazard. Service was friendly. Lots of tables both inside and out (covered!). They also offer a lunch menu with a variety of sandwiches. Not on my list to hurry back to, but when in the neighborhood again I'd swing through and try the tofu banh mi and a plain ol' latte.

Yelp
Pleasant, popular, welcoming local coffee shop and deli with sharp, attentive service and pretty good drinks and food. Traveling through town our group of six stopped by on a busy Sunday morning and had bagels with cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches (egg, cheddar, choice of sausage or bacon), coffee, a mocha, smoothies. Despite the crowd the items in our order were ready fairly quickly, and everyone was satisfied with their food. We were quickly back on the road and appreciated the staff's care with our order. It was easy to see why those who live in the neighborhood (Maple Leaf) appreciate Cloud City. It's the type of local coffee shop that gives a neighborhood personality and distinction.

Yelp
absolutely a lovely neighborhood coffee shop. It gets really busy around lunch time. The baristas are friendly and helpful. Last but not least their Ethiopian brew coffee is the best!

Yelp
Cute little neighborhood cafe, they have lots of interesting drink options and cafe fare- I met up with a friend on a Saturday to get coffee and walk at the nearby Maple Leaf Park. I got a Golden Milk latte and a piece of their lemon poppyseed coffeecake. The drink was good and they gave me a generous slice of coffeecake, but it was super dry lol I think it had been in the case for a long time. It's entirely outdoor seating so dress for the weather- they have a semi enclosed area where you can wait for your order to come out, but mind the strips of plastic they have in the entrance as a wind break because they're heavier than they look and almost slapped our coffees out our hands lol
