"On any given weekday morning, the corner of Roosevelt and NE 88th is so packed that it might as well be Capitol Hill Block Party. Instead of Charli XCX, Remi Wolf, or a DJ who shrouds their identity with a silly helmet, the people are there for Cloud City in Maple Leaf. The crowd spills out onto their makeshift sidewalk-parking-lot patio—hungover adults, families with their dogs, and so very many strollers. But is it worth the wait and floating pet dander? Yes. Cloud City’s homemade roast is some of the best coffee north of Lake Union.
