Here’s Why a Lot of Delivery Food Isn’t Coming From Actual Restaurants - Eater LA

"In 2017, Greenspan closed both Maré locations before opening a small commercial kitchen in Cloud Kitchens." - Mona Holmes

Last year I signed a signed a contract with cloudkitchen they say their say model is growth, freedom, support and mobility none of it is true. I recently filed a lawsuit against them. They wrongly terminated my contract. They will give you a bunch of broken promises just to sign and after do nothing to help your business like they say they would. Otter is glitchy and very ineffective. They have poor facility management and operation. I put all my money into starting my business, worked very hard not even a year into it they kicked me out and stole all my stuff, my equipments, my inventory and even my personal items. I couldn’t retrieve anything.Look at my page on google I have great reviews. I busted my behind to make this work. They really misrepresented their true origins. I wanted to talk to a higher up person trying to resolve this issue but no one cared enough to answer me. So I’m begging you for your shake don’t do it feel free to reach out to me for more information DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT

As a service provider stay away from Cloud Kitchen. They contracted with me to go out and service one of their locations on August 23rd 2023. As of today I still have not been paid (almost a year later). I have heard just about every excuse from them and after doing everything I can to overcome their excuses they still have not paid. Their team is very unresponsive and obviously do not care if you get paid or not. My advice to any service provider is to stay away or get a credit card on file before you go out.

I decided to do business with them for a new location. I should of looked at the reviews first! I have been nothing but disappointed with the service they provide. My opening has been delayed multiple times. I cannot get a hold of anyone on the team whenever I need to clear something up. They get back to me weeks later. The building is not even ready to be opened. Let alone kitchen because on their end things have not been getting done on a timely manner. Sales person lied to me about so many things to get me to sign the contract but after that none of the things I was told are true. I can't even explain the level of disappointment.

DO NOT do business with them. Small business owners pleaseeee take your business elsewhere. This company is very organized, their sales people will lie and tell you anything just to get you to sign their KSA and then once you move into your space it will be a completely different reality. Talk to other small business that are with CK or have been with them before. 1) your paying for cleaning in your monthly expenses that doesn’t even get done 2) your monthly costs will be higher than what you were told 3) if you have a problem that needs to get resolved, CK won’t have any urgency to resolve it quick, even if the problem is hindering your business 4) I’ve heard many other business say that they never received there deposit at the end.. so it doesn’t seem to be refundable at all. 5) problems with billing? You can’t get anybody on the phone even if you call right at 9am when they open so I’m not sure why they even have a phone number listed. I could go on, but it’s more of a headache working with them than a help, they paint a lovely picture of the whole experience but it’s highly exaggerated!

Horrible experience. I was inquiring about the fee to rent the private kitchen and a potential tour. A guy named Chet reached out to me not addressing me by name, just "hey, call me back". After talking to him about my business plan, he quoted me $12,000 up front to get started, and $5000 a month, locked in for a year. I politely told him that I would need to discuss with my partners. He asked what I needed to talk about with the partners, where else I could find it cheaper, and he ends the phone with "where can you find that? Good luck" and hung up on me. Chet, if you cannot handle customer's objections, better of find someone to work your job. Or, don't ask questions, because you were not trying to find a solution for me. You wanted to make a point and to hang up on me. This is a blessing in disguise. Imagine I signed that one contract with you.

This is a really cool spot for pickup/delivery orders only. I’ve ordered from several different takeouts and they were all super delicious. I go and pick it up myself because it’s not far and I don’t want to pay the delivery fee, but every time I go they’ve got people just waiting outside to pickup orders from the apps! There’s never not someone available for delivery.

The nicer the website, the more horrible the customer service. When I called to ask about their services, Emily responded to my initial inquiry and later refused to book me for a 15-minute Zoom meeting with their team, where they were supposed to explain their services in detail. She refused because I told her that I was the investor in the restaurant and that if I liked what they were offering, I would bring my restaurant partner to tour the facility. However, she hung up on me, and when I called back, baffled that she had hung up on me, she accused me of using foul language. In reality, I was merely explaining to her that the decision to choose their place was mine, not my partner's. Nevertheless, she hung up on me again. I could hear her dog barking in the background, and given her very fragile attitude, I'm questioning whether hiring employees like her is good for any business. She could have left her ego aside and not caused the business to lose a potential customer, especially when I called her back after she hung up on me.

Good idea for a business but with the worst service! They are a shared kitchen space meant to make it easier for our awesome 3rd party food delivery people. However! They don't make the actual businesses look good. Your food will always come cold and/or late. if your food comes from this address cancel and order from the actual place.
