We had a really good experience at Umami. The sushi was surprisingly excellent, probably the best I’ve had so far , and very fairly priced. 8 pieces cost around 40 GEL (13€), and the quality was easily above what you’d get in Europe for the same price.
We also had ramen, a bowl, desserts, and drinks. The mousse au chocolat was around 20 GEL, cocktails about 16 GEL, all reasonable prices, especially considering the portion sizes and overall quality.
The restaurant itself is nicely located with a great view over the city. Service was smooth, the place was clean, and the atmosphere relaxed with good music.
Altogether we paid 310 GEL (100€) for two people, including 24 sushi pieces, mains, desserts, and drinks. For what we got, that’s a very fair price. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in town.
