To start Gordes is GORGEOUS. And this restaurant is superb. The views are breathtaking, the staff is amazing (everyone was warm and welcoming) and the food was out of this world. The farm egg was delicious, the lamb was to die for and the carbonara was from another planet. Truly recommend. Wow almost forgot about the desserts, rice pudding was a 10 and the churro was so warm and delicious. Must have.

I had the most delightful surprise at Clover Gordes by Jean-François Piège. The food was absolutely excellent — creative, fresh, beautifully executed, with local Provencal ingredients that really sing. The service was warm and attentive, charming without ever being overly formal. The view is gorgeous: sitting there, you look out over the Luberon valley, olive groves, lavender fields — everything that makes Provence feel like something out of a poem. One small caveat: the tables are a little too close together. At times I felt every word of neighbouring conversations drifted over; more space would make the experience even more serene. But aside from that, I’d say it was a truly beautiful meal — a place I’ll remember, and one I’d happily return to.

Stunning setting in beautiful Gordes for the most delicious Provençal dishes. The service was excellent and attentive and the food and wine were spectacular. This is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Merci!

This is really the place to go in the area - stylish but not pretentious, with character but not ostentatious. Food is simple, local yet absolutely delicious. And the service is just what you rarely see in France - friendly, with a smile, positive attitude and just great. The views are absolutely amazing. We had the best long lunch and enjoyed every minute of it!

We were able to make a same day reservation for lunch. The view from the patio is incredible! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had a cocktail with fresh strawberries and the server crushed it at the bar cart and it was delicious. There was also olive oil samples coming around in a basket. Standout menu items were the squid carbonara, the squid was so tender and the dish was amazing. The John Dory was great too. The soufflé was such a treat to have!! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would go back in a heartbeat!

The restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was very good and friendly. The food was decent, nothing extraordinary, but overall fine. However, everything was outrageously overpriced. The worst part was the wine. We ordered two glasses of Chablis, each listed at €20. The waiter first offered us a small taste, which we found unimpressive, so he suggested an alternative. The alternative tasted better, and we agreed to go with it. But when the bill arrived, we were shocked: €50 per glass — for just 0.1 liters of wine! Paying €100 for 0.2 liters without any warning is unacceptable. If a substitute costs more than double the original price, the customer must be informed beforehand. This was absolutely outrageous. In the end, we paid €270 in total — without having ordered any meat or fish. Never again!

This team cares. Subtle, minor service blips however we feel our server was young and learning. Most importantly his effort didn’t go unnoticed and his sincerity made all the positive difference. Again thanks to Charles and team for making us feel very welcome. Appreciate all of you. Okay, food is great. Not sure abt the previous reviews but we had the mediterranean red prawns, bluefin tuna, squid carbonara which is their signature and worth trying. I was pleasantly surprised on their take on it. Lamb ravioli and grilled veal were both well done. Its not cheap but overall a great experience and value considering where we are at. There are packages that include lunch/dinners so check those out on the website and I hope that helps!

Stunning views and atmosphere with an experienced and robust staff tending to every need. Food was extremely fresh and reflective of the local flavors and in season food offerings. While perhaps not the most life changing food, it was all delicious, and this combined with the service and atmosphere made for an exceptional experience.
