Club 414

I visited this club frequently with my brother and a few friends for over 20 years, and visiting "Fold" a few weeks ago made me wish it was still open. The parties here always felt inclusive, the atmosphere was always electric and the sound was banging. Easily the best techno spot in Brixton, and my go to in London.

10er entry on a Saturday is a bit steep but it’s a decent albeit small club if you need to stay out late- closes at 8am! There’s a terrace up top and enough sitting areas to chat rubbish with randomers. Bouncers are friendly - nice surprise! Drinks are about £5 a pint and £4 a shot

We found this beautiful gem by accident when we moved to a flat right next to it. If you like all kinds of Trance/Techno music this is the place to be. You can go even on Sundays for some Blues with the local band for a change of pace! The place is really charming with a nice roof terrace and the decor/lights is where you want it to be. I've been in most, if not all, major clubs in London and underground parties for the last 2 years and Club 414 easily became my favourite so far. To add to that, the owner and the bouncer are 2 really cool guys who do a great job in keeping this place appealing, safe and a great place to party until dawn! With Love, The Neighbours

Best club in London! been coming here for the last couple of months and I love it. Really friendly crowd & staff, awesome music and themed parties once a month. If you are into Psytrance this is definitely your place!

Spent 20 min. Was far enough. Place for certain type of people. Proper real underground lovers. £10 entry wasted non aware of inside. Good music thats it. The place is small very worn and dirty packed with a people with very bad ventilation. Humid hot with small amount of air to breathe. Hardly to enjoy it.

A friendly and a good vibe place is not like that. The security staff treat us very rude at the door just because we didn't know if you can pay the cloakroom with card. Was nobody in the queue after us and we felt like we were annoying them only asking this. Take a picture of your ID and face just to entry it's extremely weird. The security man ask me for ID and he directly put my bank card in a machine, I don't know how privacy works there and who have now a picture of my bank card details. No respect at all. First and last time in that place.

I can't believe this is still going. My 5 stars are about what the place was in 1997/1998. I have not been since...it was little more than a squat-like situation with amazing people and extraordinary music. I'll pay a visit next time I'm in London, although the 47 year old me might not last till 6am like the 25 year old me did back then!

Been going since 1995 and is still my favourite place, is a very small but fun club with great staff, management and firm but fair door staff. Would recommend this place if you first come to england's club scene as the chill out and upstairs smoking area are great places to meet new people.

Best club in London! I've been going out around London during the last 4 years and this is by far the best club. Awesome music (psytrance, electro) and visuals with great atmosphere, really friendly crowd and staff and themed parties every now and then with free snacks and refreshments. They are now opening also Saturdays from 2pm to 10pm if you want to pop over for a dance after lunch!

A place playing trance in London? Surely not. Had a great night at 414, a small but very friendly crowd and great music until the next day. Owner very friendly and had a good chat with us. Nice squishy sofas but even better, get up to the the roof garden as the sun comes up - genius. As others have said, security very friendly and absolutely no aggro in the club. Great vibe, will be going back soon.

I have been going to the 414 for a few years now and I always know what to expect when I go there: banging Hard Dance music, expensive drinks, and ravers raising their hands to roof in ecstasy as each tune drops. The venue itself is small with an outside terrace so you can get a breather or have a cigarette. Entry is usually about £10 and the drinks are very expensive. You can't really come here on a budget. I think it is about £12 for a double vodka and Red Bull! This is not a trendy club whatsover, it is usually the place where people go to when they can't think of anywhere else or everywhere else is closed. Don't worry about what you are wearing either because there is absolutely no dress code.

One of the last top venues in London. Its been there for a while And each year continues to improve its performance. Set on 2 floors A great bar and dance floor Filled with lights and lasers With a smoke machine And a massive sounds system. Right I have upgraded this place to 5 stars on account of having some of the best times ever over the past year. If you do fancy trying 414 the best nights going on there at the moment are PsyRhythMix on a Friday or Cohesion on a Sat. Two nights that remind you why you fell in love with clubbing. They are both top notch nights, great music (Psy Trance), exceptionally friendly crowds and all the djs put their heart and soul into making you move :)

Few women in the place. £3.50 for a small bottle of beer. Bar staff slow to hand the change over i.e. - engaging in some pressing conversation with each other. But. Door staff know their business. Great atmosphere. Very relaxed. Music to dance to. Fair group of regulars but not at all cliquish. Front of house man sorted a cab to Hither Green for £20. Not bad for 7 miles on a Sunday morning. Lovely cabbie. We'll be going back.

this has to be the smallest club i have been too in london but also has a great vibe to it. one of the first venues i went too and it hasnt changed much perfect for new clubbers!!
