IMPORTANT UPDATE: this gym is no longer trans-friendly. i’ve been here 4 times over the last few years, both before and after Covid, and was always able to get in without issue (i’m female-to-male transgender). today, i went to check in as usual but was denied entry because my ID says “F” on it. i am very obviously male; i have a beard, a deep voice, flat chest, etc but was told that management is “cracking down” and that “this has always been the policy” (even though i’ve been here 4 times before). i loved this place, so im extremely sad and disheartened to find that i (and people like myself) will no longer be welcomed here.

Nice pool, 🏊 sauna and steam room 🧖‍♂️ very clean and spacious. Pretty good gym equipment. It can be tricky to find parking. Customer service above average. 😊overall experience 4.5 out of 5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Highly recommend 👍🏻

First time visiting (7/26 at 4AM) was overshadowed by the attitude of the geriatric with glasses at the front desk. Additionally, there was a long wait/line out the door because Ms. Geriatric was the only person working the front desk on a weekend. Hot tub has been cold since 7/14 per signage.

Why are the employees refusing to change the radio station??? So many hot guys are here and the vibe is dead because they are playing disco roller rink funk. Wrong time and place, cmon.

Had a great time here! Super clean, respectful and helpful staff, and a welcoming atmosphere and energy on a Sunday afternoon. Nice variety of people. Definitely recommend.

The amount of time it takes to check in one person!!! It’s ridiculous! They would have so many more people coming here if they speed up that process. I stood in like for 6 minutes for 1 person

The guy in the entrance its so rude, i understand he has a complicated job giving towels but it looks like he has no idea how to treat with new members… in pride!!! Need a new personal ASAP

BRING DOXY PREP! And double your dosage….On their busiest night they fail the Clients. They cannot process people fast enough and the line backs up to out the door. Y’all need to hire more people during your peak hours… seriously!! I left I can find more fun on sniffies or grinder or FET life parties . Your not the only game in town but you tend to think so with your lousy customer service..

Staff is great except Jonathan. He thinks he is the cutest thing since he does OF. He will 100% be rude to you. Place is clean. Condoms available. Joe seems to be a good manager.

Super fun! Nice pool! I went at a slow time but super big and really clean! Would recommend if you're looking for spontaneous fun!

I went Thursday night, it was slow at first, after 9 it started picking up, but the less guys there, the more you can just walk around...the pool, swim. The stream room, relax n sweat. It was a good Thursday.

Some tips after going several times a month this year. If you just need a locker, there is never a line. The line is for people wanting a room when the rooms are completely booked and they have to wait for check-outs. Take an Uber or Bike if you can. Parking in the lot is scarce and you will be waiting for check-outs. If you take the train, the walk from McGowen or Downtown Transit Center are about the same walk (under 5min) and equally dicey, fyi. Street Parking is plentiful and seems dicey though I have not had any issues, and it is always in the back of my mind. Leave NOTHING visible in your car, not even a water bottle or a pack of gum. Again, it is best to Uber or bike there. The place is clean. They do random cleaning of the various areas and I appreciate it. The staff has always been friendly to me, I do struggle to hear them behind the glass at check-in because the music is a bit loud. The gym equipment is barely used and looks like anyone can get a great workout in. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks. Lube and toys etc. for purchase inside if you forgot to bring your own. There are also cold water fountains to cool you off from the steam and saunas. The showers are clean, and nice, the body wash could be a better scent, to each their own I guess. The patrons are a great mix of locals and visitors (mainly for business) with every spectrum of sexuality, curiosity, body shape, religion, ethnicity, and race. Quintessentially Houston. Everyone is there to have a good time. Be a gentleman, always. Smile and nod at the ones that catch your eye, see if they do it back and then have fun!

Clean and friendly environment. Staff members are always so welcoming. Chico has such an inviting personality, keeps people returning.

Front desk is unfriendly. I asked them questions over the phone; one of the questions was if the place was busy at all; someone told It was and it would busy all day and place was empty. Why not tell the truth.

Had my first visit today. I was nervous because all the reviews talked about the staff, but the three employees I spoke to were all super nice. The man at checkin explained how everything worked, didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing. Younger guy was working the counter at checkout, very nice guy. And the custodial worker upstairs was very friendly and could tell I was lost and helped me figure out which way I was going. Pool and hot tub were great, steam room was great: I didn't use the gym, but it was very pretty! Friendly patrons, I plan to go back soon.

Club Houston is one of several regional sex clubs around the USA. I do lots of sex counseling and often recommend males of all ages visit the Clubs! Males of all nationalities and cultures seek sexual fulfillment. Club Houston is an excellent place to discover your inner-self and experience some of the sexual gratification and fulfillment you are wanting to enjoy. Although some visitors to the Club may have experienced staff issues, in general the friendly attendants on duty try to facilitate your visit to be one of pleasure and sexual fulfillment. Through the years, I have taken numerous males for their first visits to Club Houston. Surprisingly, I have discovered they often go back for more sexual pleasure in subsequent visits . The front staff very unfriendly. The guy with the long beard was very rude and disrespectful. It was clearly that through his judgmental,and discerning character he is racist. Not someone I would want representing my company, or around my friends.

I'm honestly not too sure why there are some negative reviews of this place. I was in Houston for two weeks, I went to this club three times, and it was great. Kinda makes me think that the negative reviews are from bitter old drama queens thinking that they're Elektra from Netflix's POSE or something. Seriously. I was there on a Thursday afternoon, a Sunday night, and a Tuesday night. I wasn't able to go on Fridays or Saturdays. They have a private parking lot, but it is not guarded. The place is down the street from a ghetto Greyhound bus stop, and there's plenty of homeless people walking around. Be sure to hide your valuables (or take them with you), and lock your car. I'm not sure if there is street parking available or not, because I was always able to park in the lot. The front desk people were totally cool. Then again, and I was nice and respectful towards them, so they were the same towards me. There is a six hour time limit for your visit, and you can opt for the cheapest fee which is just a locker. There are also different kinds of rooms available, too. I just got the basic room all three times, which had a single sized bed, clean sheet, pillow and clean pillow case. You pay your fees, and you can leave your wallet, phone, or whatever in a safety deposit box behind the counter. You are the only one with the key for that. HINT: they have a few vending machines that take cash and debit/credit cards. I put my wallet and keys in the deposit box, and took my debit card with me to use on the vending machines. I just put that card in my shoe in my room. This is probably one of the most ethnically diverse clubs of this type that I have ever been to (I'm from Los Angeles). Equal mix of black, white, hispanic, and asian. The age range was mostly 45+, but there was a handful of younger guys there, too. They provide condoms, but you'll need to bring your own lube, or you can buy some at the front desk. They also sell enemas, and other things. You can walk around naked, or you can get a standard size towel or a massive towel to wear around your waist. Be sure to bring sandals or flip flops. They have a full on gym! Other places that I have been to like this will have one, multi-station gym machine, and that's it. This place has free weights, barbells, dumbbells, cardio machines, benches, and a full array of weight training machines. It seriously has every type of gym equipment you'd need. There's also bathrooms and showers on the first floor, as well as a smaller dry sauna and rather large (and very steamy) steam room. There's yet another shower area (with rainfall shower heads) and then the large HEATED outdoor pool and a massive hot tub. Plenty of outdoor recliners on a sun deck, too. There is also a lounge area with comfortable chairs to kick back and back and talk with people. The private rooms are up on the second floor. Also on the second floor are another set of bathrooms and showers, and a huge dry sauna that's quite warm but not too hot. There's a darkened room with a sling, and a king size elevated mattress for a gang bang orgy in another darkened room. There are some glory hole rooms, and then an area with two-level glory holes. I think that this area is also known as the maze. The staff will close down certain areas of the club for a few minutes to clean and sanitize the area. They announce the pending closure of the area, giving you like a five minute warning. Some people get all uppity over this, but I think it's a great idea and I actually appreciate it. Sex happens everywhere, but no one is overly aggressive. The downside to this place? It's just over 1,500 miles away from where I live.

So for the main thing it does have plenty of variety, it kept pretty clean, and lot workout equipment if you use that. So it's March and they have a big pool and large hot-tub, but neither one heated so no one been using it at all on my 2 visits. The sling upstairs is sweet but no one got in it and is not used a lot, most people walk in circles for hours just walking. Once you find someone and start playing it like a bunch people start to gather around you so if that not thing plan on room. Anyways oh def park in there parking area which hard get cause it does have lot of people in bad situation on the streets so make sure if park there put anything valuable out view. Also they were calling a locker number which was mine but the number they called was not. It was not until they called my name that I knew was mine. Like literally they calling 133 and I was 123. Anyways let the guy the counter know young guy counter and he just thru my locker box at me and could tell he upset and was quiet rude but I just said sorry and went on out. Lot the staff were unpleasant. But guess many jobs general

Could not have asked for nicer treatment and attention from the staff. Talked us through our first visit and showed us around. Facility was clean and well maintained. Can't say all patrons were as nice. Some were outright rude.

Before I went to Club Houston the first time I had read a lot of reviews about rude staff, people cutting in line to get lockers and staff closing the maze during peak times. So I was a little leery about going the first time. Over the last year I have been a dozen times and staff has never been rude to me. As far as guys cutting in line, the line is for guys waiting for rooms as they run out at peak times especially friday night. There is no wait if you're just getting a locker. The staff does close the maze to clean and they ask everyone to go to another area till they are done and usually only takes about 15 to minutes. I have noticed some patrons getting upset about this. Myself appreciate them keeping the place clean. I have also noticed that they have to call out room numbers over the intercom to remind patrons they are past their checkout time. I have people get upset by this and claim they the employees are being rude. There are people waiting in line for these rooms and you are your checkout time when you get there. These people are being rude by not leaving when their allotted time is up. So take all that into consideration when reading the reviews. I think the facility is fantastic and the staff does a great job.

Went yesterday, Friday, I always have fun. Some people leave negative comments about the staff, but they are always over the top friendly with me. Friday is always good because they have half price rooms from 4 to 8.

Rude staff waiting line with about 8 others guy walks in cuts kine saying he's only getting a locker. I say something to the guy at desk and manager . Manager comes back and say I can't come in. But I was not the only one complaining. Total bs.

A really good establishment, got a lot of CHEAP yet well maintained rooms and such, really the best place I've been to, however the site does not tell you what kind of establishment this is, I came in looking for a good time as a straight male, only to find it is a male only building, not upset whatsoever however really nice place

Went there New Year's Eve and 2 employees had nasty attitude, one guy at the front desk and the guy that clean the rooms. Clearly they don't like their job. Manager need to step in and fire people and hire new ones.

I've gone to a few different male-only establishments, I am very impressed with how clean this place is even when they are busy. Always met great guys, staff, and patrons alike. The tv wasn't working in my room, staff immediately went up and solved the issue. Never left without I recommend bringing sandals to walk around.

Long line with 1 guy working the door. Waited in line for 1 hour just to get inside the building. While waiting in line, I got annoyed by obnoxious older men who were harassing others in the line. After paying my money, the African American guy with the untamed afro caught a NASTY attitude & gone say "I need to listen & quit looking around worried about what the guys are saying in line." I gladly demanded my money back & my ID. You gotta work this damn job not me! I don't put up with horrible customer service. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO CLUB HOUSTON AFTER THIS TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Don't even bother investing in this establishment. Hire people with more RESPECT & then charge accordingly. Customer service comes FIRST & nobody is going to wait in line for 1 HOUR just to deal with an angry ass receptionist. DO BETTER! And I'm no longer telling my guy friends to come & support either.

I went a couple of days and had a fun sort of time. I did meet fun people and got to experience things. Some guests do have an issue with boundaries. Other guests just won't even say hi or nod in acknowledgement to an "Excuse me" when you pass or whatever. While my two days were fun, my last day was soured at the end. I saw negative reviews about rude staff, which hadn't been my experience. The last day a staff member quite rudely and angrily yelled at 2 guests for violating a rule regarding the jacuzzi. The rule is not posted anywhere, and both days that rule was never explained to me. Talking with some of the other 10 gentlemen in the jacuzzi at the time, they expressed that it was quite odd. I also didn't see the staff yell at the two separate times there were people smoking weed in the jacuzzi. Things were clean and I probably will be back. I think I would just ask that the staff have training in how to interact with guests when the staff may have become irritated. Maybe also a pamphlet of rules at the door, so that you can ask guests to review them if they are non-members or new.

Excellent customer service, great place to relax, unwind. I love the communal showers. The pool area is wonderful for sun bathing. Second floor is fun and entertaining. And as a kind reminder: you may look and you may ask, but do not assume. Xoxo.

I have been there a couple of times this past year and I can only say, they have treated the patrons with lot of respect and are very friendly. They are busy upgrading to facility which I am sure will even make to place more attractive to all. The new sauna is a pleasure and the rooms are very clean

This place is dope I never been to a place like this b4. I'm visiting from Las Vegas 1st time goin in the staff was great and friendly. When I come back I will be hitting this place up again. This is my new place

The staff treat you very poorly as a patron and they interact you enormously in the Maze area a or closing down in the middle of their most busy time they need to use their heads because they haven't been

The best day spa I've been to in Texas!! Very clean very well run. Most of the facility looks new--I was there during the daytime and it was quite pleasant to sunbathe--decent crowd.

Been there several times and the majority of the time I left very satisfied to say the least! The accommodation are nice and clean especially after the remodel work that was done. Recommend this place to men eating to be yourself!

The only private men's health club in Houston. A destination for gay men, naturally... Updated amenities, clean facilities, awesome outdoor pool/spa.

I had a fun time here. I do have one very major complaint, though: I noticed that a guy had his phone out in the hot tub area and later in the dark maze area. When I reported the phone to the front desk, they told me that phones are allowed as long as no photos or videos are being taken. So I guess we're supposed to be okay with seeing phones out and just watch the users constantly to make sure they're not taking any photos or videos. Talk about a distraction. Hard to believe this is actually their policy. Seems a lot simpler - and SAFER for patrons - to just ban phones outright.

I was there not too long ago the staff was very disrespectful and i didnt have the key to open my belongings and the staff (shrek looking) said mother f u better have ur shit i mean we pay to have a good time not to be insulted Never going again thanks for my foot fungus and being degraded by an ogre

A bunch of dudes here. Has the same amentities as the 24 Hour Fitness Super-Sport in midtown. Music is awesome, and they are also 24/7 a week. Compared to other gyms, they are the cheapest in membership so if price is #1 on your list, come here.

clean and well run by a nice enough staff. has very large pool (heated in winter) with sunbatheing areas. large hot tub, new sauna & a steamroom. The gym is well-stocked. All kinds of nice folks go there..very egalitarian. Great place to relax on Sundays when they offer a complimentary lunch buffet!
