We are just home from a fantastic family trip. Where to start. The hotel is lovely, great food, excellent staff, nothing is too much trouble.|The kids club is super well organised and kept everyone well entertained at all points. The kids also loved ski school instructors and made lots of friends in the club.|We had the most fantastic guide for the week for level 4 adults skiing, Umberto, he made our week! Everyone improved so well and we had some brilliant days out and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh powder on and off piste.|Sign us up for next year!

The positives, the food is good and varied and the accommodation is sizable and clean.||The negatives. The Club Med management team is a total shambles and they should either be replaced or go on intensive training as most of the issues are not insurmountable and quite obvious for anyone with experience in hospitality.||1. No luggage tags given or attached on arrival so our luggage got lost.||2, No information given on the transfer by the reps instead a pointless intro on arrival at the hotel with no actual pertinent info e.g. ski school, gondola times etc Therefore what you get is lots of people asking reception the same questions.||3. 1.5 hr queues for ski rental on arrival. Seemingly there was a system where those who pre booked had their equipment in their lockers already but many found theirs empty or wrongly allocated so had to queue up in any case.||4. Dinner times between 7-8.30pm are a total shambolic bun fight. If you don’t make a mad dash for it as soon as the doors open then you have to wait until a table comes free and the management “bouncer” randomly calls the table sizes available. Physical altercations broke out one night when people had had enough. On New Year’s Eve when they did try to implement two timed sittings it didn’t make any difference.||5. Queuing at certain food stations is also a bun fight, some quests don’t get the concept of a queue or just don’t care. ||Overall the village (no. of chalets and therefore guests) is too big for facilities available e.g. restaurant, bar and spa and they just simply can’t cope when they’re at maximum capacity over the Christmas and New Year weeks which I imagine is the same in half term and Easter holidays. The end result being you have to queue for everything. ||As a group we still had a good time but it was very much inspite of Club Med and not because of them. I would definitely not do Club Med again.

Just about to leave after spending 7 days here over New Year. I’ll start with the positives. The resort is really fantastic and great for all levels of skiers and boarders. Most of instructors at club med for both adult and mini club skiers are exceptional and we’ve loved that part of the experience. I said most as one of the mini club female instructors was seen shouting in the face of another child, a more senior instructor had to intervene.|The equipment for hire is also really good quality and is like brand new. A massive thank you to Instructors Miky Marta and Victoria (didn’t get her surname but she was in her first season at club med and was super with my son, she got him from pizza to fries 😀 ) Miky was really great with out whole group, treated us as individuals and knew our strengths and weaknesses.|Highly recommend both of these instructors for group or 1:1 lessons. They were a highlight for sure!||The negatives: Unfortunately, the hotel did let the experience down for us. We expected this week to be busy, but it really has been insufferable at times. From queuing to manually re do all the form filling I did online for mini club registration to having to make a change to my boarding boots as they issued me 2 right feet, queuing for 45 minutes just to swap them, to queuing for tables at breakfast, dinner and at the bar. The sheer frustration of queuing for ages food for a Brit and the lack of ability to queue for other nations made a stressful and aggressive meal time routine and one that often ruined the meal. The volume of guests and poor organisation at meals times resulted in cold pasta and fish fingers for mini club lunch and what should have been a celebration on New Year’s Eve was ruined by the outbreak of Norovirus in the hotel due to overcrowding and a lack of simple hygiene measures, making me and another of our party very ill for 24 hours missing that occasion. The rest of the party did try to get into the restaurant only for it not to be possible due sheer numbers of people and a lack of space and resources to cope with the reservations promised to those wanting to celebrate new year. An absolute shambles to be honest. As the week progressed we heard of more and more families catching the sickness bug. The hotel has put out more hand gel in the hotel which is a welcome relief but I requested extra cleaning products for our room several times so I could prevent my family from the sickness bug, This never came. I’ve relied on housekeeping now, so far all OK!|To add we’ve cleared broken glass from the walkway to our room so as no one slips and hurts themselves on it, we have noticed a drain type smell in one of the breakfast areas so avoid sitting there now and the swimming pool is cold and changing area dirty. On departure, it isn’t a given your luggage will be collected from your rooms, I had to chase twice for them to be picked up, even though there is clear information on time your luggage will be collected from your room. Due to this, I made my husband follow them and ensure they got on the correct bus as didn't trust the system.

Our stay at Club Med Pragelato was incredible, but what made it truly special was Jean-Baptiste at the Mini Club. He was fantastic with our kids—kind, energetic, and always making sure they had the best time. They came home with amazing memories thanks to him! The resort itself was perfect for families, with great skiing, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Extremely Disappointing & Unacceptable for Families Our experience at this hotel was far from welcoming, especially for families. Room allocation lacked common sense—they suggested one of our children (under 12) stay alone in a separate room, blaming “the computer” instead of offering a practical solution. So one room was not used as we cannot keep a child below 12 alone in a room- they promised an email to customer service, will see… To make matters worse, the room temperature was at 18°C, and when we called reception, they explained that all heating shuts off after midnight and no staff can help or support. Our children’s room was even colder at 16.7°C, and after five hours, it barely reached 18°C, relying solely on the bathroom heater, and still no support from staff. For a +€6k stay for only four days, the complete lack of comfort was unacceptable. We felt unwelcome from check-in, and the hotel seemed to prioritize French and Italian guests over others. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially for families seeking a comfortable and accommodating experience and travelling with young children.

The food is very good, the rooms are clean and very nice BUT it is a village of separate chalets, therefore you must always go outside in order to get to the restaurant, spa etc. saunas are cold. Pool is freezing so the children didn't use it. And the worst thing is the a huge mess with restaurants orders. We waited to our New Year festive table for more than 1 hour. The staff is not helpful. Not like in other Club Med hotels we have been.

We were there for a family skiing trip and stayed in a duplex which was fantastic - a small house with upstairs bedroom and shower room and downstairs separate bedroom, “kitchen” area with fridge and sink and a toilet by the front door. The hotel complex is great with the accommodation spread out in pretty Alpine chalets surrounding a central building containing the reception, bar and restaurant. The hotel had made a huge effort for the New Year celebrations with staff putting on a show they had evidently worked really hard on and then music, dancing and finally outside for the countdown and fireworks at midnight, it was a fantastic atmosphere. ||Unlike some resorts this is not ski in ski out and in order to ski you have to get a gondola up the mountain that is right next to the hotel. There was a small bit of queuing and very full gondolas at the start and end of the day but it wasn’t at all a big problem and the kids actually loved the “flying bus” rollercoaster ride every day. ||We used the mini club which absolutely served its purpose - the kids had skiing lessons and made friends but the organisation was significantly lacking. Drop off and pick up were never straightforward - paper lists with different staff every single time so the children were rarely recognised or their names learned - no not that page, turn over etc etc etc It was always unclear where to pick them up from and at what time. The kids had a lovely time but it makes for quite a stressful parent experience and dashing between various sites on the hotel complex. There also needs to be some thought about how the mini club store their skis for individual children, the system is that groups with huge numbers of children all put their skis together and of course things get then get mixed up or lost - in 5 days of skiing our child had to have 3 different pair of skis with return to the ski hire shop for height/weight/ability adjustment each time. Again not a big deal but not really what you want to be doing on a holiday of this sort. The mini club staff are mostly very pleasant but seemed a bit stressed and struggling to cope with the number of children. It seemed unfair to me that the guy who was giving a quite involved evening magic show one night was the same person who was responsible for getting the kids ski returns sorted at the crack of dawn the next morning, of course there were errors and items missing - leadership and senior presence were needed and absent.||In terms of dining, we ate fairly early in each main buffet restaurant sitting and found it to be overall really good. The problem is that most people want to eat at exactly the same time and the restaurant quickly becomes overwhelmed. There are two other restaurants offering table service that you can book tables for dinner at but the booking app system doesn’t work at all so they advise to book on site with a woman who sometimes stands outside of the bar with a lap top. It wasn’t at all clear when she would randomly be there so when she did appear the queues to see her were long. Her English was not good enough to be doing this job and she offers no confirmation of what booking she has made for you - no email/text and no card with the booking written on. Consequently when we turned up at a restaurant for our booking there was no record of this at the restaurant end and the mysterious booking lady was nowhere to be found. The restaurant staff shrugged their shoulders and offered no solution. This sums up the overall area needed for improvement in that organisation is really quite poor and the various elements of the hotel don’t seem united - there’s a lot of “not our problem, you need to speak to someone else”. ||We actually had a good holiday but I spent far more time than I wanted to wandering around, standing in queues, speaking to multiple people about the same problem than I should have done. Hopefully if the issues at middle and senior management can be sorted out the resort will feel calmer and more organised and make for a better customer experience.

This hotel really changed my view on what I believe a Club Med experience should be. I was a real fan of Club Med before, but this stay really changed my mind.||Hotel seemed to be overbooked with waiting lines everywhere: before entering the restaurant, at the buffet, at the bar... Food wasn't cooked properly because the chefs needed to hurry up. A la carte restaurants were not bookable via the app nor via reception.||We never had a pleasant holiday feeling and even returned home two days early.||This is the poorest value for money vacation we ever been to, such a disappointing experience and totally unexpected.
