I’d say there’s really nothing that set this place apart from the other joints that serve hainan chicken. Except they have two kinds of ginger sauce. They are more like Savoy, if you’ve been there than you’d know what I’m talking about. The food is not bad. The chicken are actually prepared very well and the taste is spot on. Ordered two kinds of Hainan chicken, the original and the deep fried. The original is the same as anywhere you go, so there’s really nothing special about it. The fried hainan chicken was ok. The skin was crispy and the meat was cooked well. Also ordered a side of bachoy sautéed with garlic and it was good. I just wanted something different. Something that would make you say, yeah this hainan chicken is one of a kind. It was a downer, but they do have other food on the menu. I’m just writing this review in comparison to all the hainan chicken joints that I’ve visited.
