Cluckin Bun

This is the cutest little restaurant with some of the dankest tasting fried chicken and homemade mac-n-cheese I have ever tasted! So much food I had to bring some home and then I ate it right away. Service is really friendly. The decor is adorable and obviously well thought out. I am getting hungry for more just writing this review.

They have an amazing chicken I recommend it 100%. They also have 5 levels of spiciness. The noise level was quiet because we were the only ones there at the time and for space is small but boy do they make up on the food is really good.

To put it Truthfully this is the best chicken place in the valley. It has no competition, or even close contenders. 40+ orders, random times throughout the days, sometimes even months apart. Quality, every, single time. So much so, I've even got my friends from the LA Area whenever they visit are excited to go grab some chicken. Thank you to the staff as always, and if you the reader are on the fence, theres no option, choose this place, and you wont be disappointed.

Went here last December (2023) and I'm surprised i never left a review. I was in Palm Springs for an emergency airport trip and was relieved to find a place as good as this for a meal while in town. Won't get into much detail but you should know the food is made with consistent greatness in each part of the meal. I also got to talk with the owner, whose heart goes into the food. If I ever need to go back to Palm Springs, this the spot I'll be going to.

This restaurant is one of my all time favorite restaurants. Everything they serve is pure deliciousness. The mac and cheese is some of the best I've ever tasted, especially with the added Cheeto flakes. No other restaurant that I've seen has been able to compare to their mac and cheese. Their sandwiches are absolutely heavenly. The buns are high quality, warm, and delicious. They come with coleslaw, pickles, sauce, and a chicken tender (or multiple!) fried in peanut oil and dusted with Cheeto flakes. They have a level of heat for their sauces for everyone! Mild, medium, hot, and Cluckin hot. They're all delicious, and the hottest one is definitely not for the faint of heart! Whoever came up with their recipes certainly knows something about spices and flavors, because I've been struggling to find anything even remotely close to as good as this restaurant within the entire southern California area! I absolutely recommend this place, and while I'm sad their other location in Inglewood, CA closed, I hope this one is able to thrive so I can come back soon!

Ordered delivery, please save your money and time. They must have paid for these reviews because NO way. We ordered 12 wings and 4 tenders for $55 + TIP. Tenders were soggy and that's not even the worst part, the chicken was PINK, literally undercooked. We took 2/3 bites and threw them away. As for the wings I have had better wings from the frozen section at Ralphs. We were so disappointed, out almost $60 and still hungry. Do yourself a favor and AVOID. The only normal thing was a Pepsi.

I know there is a weed store next door but damn when u open rhe door to this shop it s full on pot smell, which is off putting in a food place. It s small only 3 tables so better to get it to go as it feels like a walk in closet. Menu is very repetitive for choices. I got the mild hot wings and it came w ranch..thankfully as even, the mild made my lips burn a little. The sauce n chicken were tasty but I would probably get no heat next time.

First experience at Dave's Hot Chicken was great!The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Service was excellent, Ernesto was really nice and made sure everything was taken care of. Definitely coming back!

Service here was really wonderful! Be sure to sign up online for coupons to save. Space inside is very limited, there are only two tables so prepared to take your food to go. The chicken was cooked perfectly, very juicy. It could've been more seasoned, I didn't notice much in terms of spice at all. The fries were tasty and so were the drinks. The food was made to order quickly and packaged well to go. Great option if you're looking for fried chicken in the area.

Family recommend this place! Let's check it out! My siblings rave about this place and it was only fair I paid them a visit! First had plenty of parking in their shopping plaza. Small yet cozy business. Service was great! We arrived, there was no line and they took our order right away. They have a T.V displaying their menus and what they have. I really enjoyed their art work! Unique and it gives it personality. Portions are big! My siblings recommend their loaded fries! They come with chicken, cheese, cluckin sauce ranch and hot Cheeto flakes! Oh you can add Mac and cheese for an additional charge( worth it) They have different heat levels! I had them cluckin sandwich combo and upgraded my fries to cheese fries. Food was tasty as satisfying! The sandwich was juicy and oh so tender! Their coleslaw was yummy! I really enjoyed that. Cheese fries were perfect! When you check in they give you two sauces for free! We had ranch!

Went to Palm Springs for a quick turn around. Ended up craving a chicken sandwich and wanted to see if there were any local spots I could try. Cluckin Bun did not disappoint I ordered their Jr Sandwich which is an excellent sandwich, it's big, flavorful and plenty of food if you're hungry. However, since I live far away I couldn't leave without ordering their loaded fries and DAMN those fries were fire . Seasoned Fries with pieces of spicy chicken, nacho cheese and you can add-on Mac and cheese with Cheeto dust for a few extra bucks. You gotta try em they were so damn good. If I come back to Palm Springs in the future I hope they are still there.

They offered my girlfriend a free drink for a review. (She declined) Service is horrible food is bland no flavor . Homeless people are always hanging out in the front of the building

If you're craving for hot and spicy chicken sandwich, Cluckin Bun is the place to turn to. However, the spice didn't get that hot unless you let the server know you can handle the heat if you're hungry for it. The Jr Clucker is one big sandwich with two Nashville style hand breaded chicken breast tenders with lots of creamy sauce in a hamburger bun. And the Little Clucker is one Nashville style chicken breast sandwich in a brioche would be a good choice if you're not a big eater. Overall the experience was good and not to mention the fun walls!

I always stop here when im in town to get some chicken tenders! The Service is always fast and friendly! Even after coming here almost A year later I still see the same friendly faces. This place has something for everyone with a super relaxed atmosphere. Cant wait until I come back every time I Go.. Check them out you wont regret it!!

Picked up food to go. had heard about it, but never tried it so we did... Omg!!!! So so good!!! My husband ordered the Mother Clucker Combo with a side & drink; that we enough for 2 of us! The sandwich was definitely delicious & different in taste! We ordered the Mac n cheese as our side, also very good! I ordered the clucking sandwich by itself; also the wall pictures are hilarious! Very original service was good, we didn't wait very long either.

I ordered take out through their online ordering site. They had a $5 off 25 code but it disappeared. I had trouble with that and their was an offer for $2 off loaded fries with $25 purchase. Anyway, my food was ready when I arrived. The place is small. The service was OK. I checked in on Yelp and got 2 free sauce. The loaded fries had plenty of sauce. It was pretty good. The crispy chicken in it was cut up. Some of it was crispy, some of it not. I also got the junior clucker. I ate it right away and I didn't think it was crispy at all, maybe I got the original? I checked my receipt and it said crispy so maybe the crispy is not how I envisioned it? The coleslaw was tangy and crunchy. I couldn't taste the Cheetos. The chicken was very big and juicy. The price was reasonable for what I got.

Best chicken in the desert. The Junior chicken sandwich is quite large and filling with two pieces of chicken ( unlike some other chicken joints). The chicken is moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. the prices are very reasonable. I don't like coleslaw, but the sauce and pickles provided great contrasting flavor. The loaded fry's included chicken, ranch, and plenty of medium cheesy sauce which had a little heat and I am a wimp. The flavors all worked great. Service was great and friendly. There was a smallish seating area, but it was quiet inside. As far as the best specialty chicken fastish food/ food trucks Cluckin bun comes a close second to Chk-N-Out in Orange County. But since I am nowhere near Orange County, I am glad I have a place like Cluckin Bun to go to. For great tasting specialty chicken at a great price, give Cluckin Bun a try and enjoy.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews here. We've had much better hot chick especially on main chick. Cluckin Bun is One and Done for us. A place with chicken tenders that doesn't have any knives? Interesting. There were two of us and we asked for forks and knives, and we only got one fork. Service was subpar and the food give us both stomach aches. It also only has three small tables so if you're coming with a big party plan on taking it to go. Would not recommend the food nor service.

The fries with the Mac n cheese is a must! Nice, creamy, and very tasteful. My one complain is that they charger $2 for tap water. We were the only ones in there so it was nice and quiet !

Looks like a hole in the wall, because it is. Mostly a to go place. Food was unremarkable. Honestly a KFC or Popeyes sandwich is better.

Hot, Juicy Chicken! I ordered the tenders meal (comes with fries and a drink. The chicken tenders are so juicy and freshly made! The spice level is one-size fits all (medium hot). If you like really spicy, you can add on the spicier dipping sauce (or non-spice sauce). The fries are seasones crinkle cut and tasty. The service was great! Super friendly. The ambiance is kinda quirky, but fun (in a chicken shack sort of way). If you love HOT chicken, you'll love this place!

5 stars for food and service. 3 for ambience. Tiny (3tables only) and hot af inside and stunk of weed (neighbor is a pot shop.) Other than that, the ladies rubbing it was very professional and they delivered a delicious product. Chicken was perfectly cooked and a nice big piece and juicy! Sauces were bomb and fries were fresh and tasty. Will def be pack to pick up food in the future!

Small place in a hidden little corner but we were optimistic because of the reviews, the whole time we saw people coming in and out with GrubHub orders which just build up the anticipation while we waited for our food. I ordered mild because I get terrible heartburn and didn't bring my medication but that just means the sauce will be mild, if you're not a fan of spice you're out of luck because the chicken is all made the same which has a bit of a kick to it. The loaded fries look better than they taste, I took one bite and closed that back up. Prices are reasonable and service was great!

Just wanted to let it be known. I have tried all the buffalo wings, at every establishment known for their wings. Cluckin bun by far takes the cake for best wings and tanders in my book. The employees are also very nice fast and get you in and out very satisfied!! They take care to know people who are regulars by name. It's definitely my favorite spot.

So I saw a review of Cluckin Bun and thought I should try it out. I really wanted to like this place. I like small businesses and want to support them. The restaurant is not a very appealing place to eat, so I chose to take-out. The prices are pretty high, not a good deal especially compared to KFC or even Caines. The chicken sandwich was decent but nothing special. The real disappointment was with the Mac & Cheese side. It was definitely not fresh and there was very little cheese. I've had package m&c that was far better. I also ordered a single chicken tender which was a bit stale and the matching sauce wasn't packaged with it so I thought they forgot it until after I ate it and found it in the bag that had a fork and napkins. Would I go back? Probably not. If I do, I'm definitely not ordering the Mac & Cheese

Guy who was running the place when I came was good people. The prices are reasonable and they offer crispy! Smells amazing in the place, too . They got the hotdog bun and slaw, straight up tenders, and the loaded fries. Went for the straight up tenders, which are full of flavor, like amazing flavor, and the guy hooked one up as a sandwich so I could try it. Did I mention the crinkle fries? Seasoned perfectly and the salts are perfect. Boom! Legit. On a side note, the honey mustard is fire!

I have been visiting frequently for the past two years or so. Last night, 10/08/24. at 9:11pm. I purchased my usual order loaded fries...... I was very disappointed because the chicken had a bad smell and a horrible aftertaste, I always give the chicken to my friend she couldn't eat it. I was only able to eat the fries shame on the person that served it to me.

This was our first stop during our Palm Springs getaway. We were craving a spicy chicken sandwich and this place did not disappoint. The place is very bright and cheerful but very hot inside my daughter and I felt bad for the lady that took our order it felt like 90 degrees in there but that did not stop them from providing great service and food. Oh and I forgot to take a picture but we got strawberry churros. Delicious.

Everything was good!! The cheese fries were really good as well, for my liking I like my chicken to be a bit on the dried side overall 9/10 also the graphics on the walls will give you a good laugh

Paid 18 bucks for a order of loaded fries + mac n cheese, ate about half of it and my stomach started turning, its been 2 days and stomach ache has not reduced, likely food poisoning, beware.

The wings and hot chicken sandwich-- smakin' Their heat levels are on point. I got the hot, level 3/5 on spice. It was hot lol. Love the flavors and heat, but the coleslaw is banal at best. Just chucked it. Will continue to come back time and time again.

Last night we tried Cluckin Bun for the first time. Other reviews said better than Dave's and Canes so we HAD to try and it was so worth it! Erica was working and she was so amazing. Made us a truly delicious meal. We're only in town a few days but we will be back for more next visit! Highly recommend the clucker meals and the tender meal. Fries had great flavor and Mac and cheese was hot and CHEEEEESEY. Worth the wait! We went later in the night so the place was quiet but the clever paintings matching the menu was entertaining and a great photo op! Thank you for an excellent meal!

When your craving a good chicken sandwich this is the spot . They have the perfect amount of spice . They are my after work special.

The food was amazing my favorite is the mac cheese and the cluck in sandwich are so delicious. Also the service is really nice. The Ambiance is nice they played music and the walls are cool and funny.

been here a few times. The first couple times they seem welcoming/ friendly. The other times I can say that the lady that works there and i have a feeling it's one of the owners is rude. Not once does she greet you when you walk in. No type of manners. I wanted to give this place a chance, but she doesn't even hand you your food just leaves it on the counter. This place has potential but with no great customer service and not a welcoming environment it makes you not want to come back. And for sure won't.

So this place is kind of hidden and super small and not in a place I would typically frequent, but the food is amazing. Their loaded fries with the chicken and Mac and cheese is delicious. It doesn't look like much but it's amazing comfort food. The prices are pretty good too. The service wasn't so friendly but it's ok. The food is worth poor service in my opinion

I came today 08/19/2022 to purchase my lunch and to redeem my $5 off coupon that Cluckin Bun sent me for my birthday, The guy and the lady Vanessa refused to let me use my $5 off for my food because they said that the email was sent on July 31st and that I couldn't use it (even that it says to use it between 08/01/2022 till 08/31/2022). That doesn't make sense because they sent me the email on July 31st. Night for my August use. This place just lies to the customers sending coupons and then when you go, you can't redeem it. They put so many excuses so I don't use it. The food is good, that's why I gave a 2 star review, otherwise I wouldn't put any starts. Im very disappointed with this place, I know it's only $5 off...but it $5 that I could've saved!!!! I'll post the screenshot of the email with the coupon we're it says FOR USE BETWEEN 08/01 till 08/31. They are liars!!!!
