I’ve driven past this spot plenty of times and finally decided to stop in yesterday. It’s your classic dive bar, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. The drinks came out fast, and the Buffalo Chicken Fries were way better than I expected. The seating could’ve been more comfortable, but honestly, no real complaints. Solid little spot.

Lemon pepper wings was Trash they were dry, no flavor , tough, & tasted like they were injected with steroids before serving. Idk how ppl mess up Wings its the simplest thing to make! I ordered 12 and threw over half away. Service wasn't bad or atmosphere but these wings wasn't it

Tastes just like the Big Mac! Server Michelle and owner Neel were very gracious with their time, can’t wait to come back with the family.

I love soccer so i was driving around Bank of America Stadium and i found this place. they are such a bayern's fans, if you support that club go to clutch and grab this tall beer for $5.

Visited Wednesday 8/10/22 at around 12:45pm for lunch and cocktails. Me and my friend walk in and stand to wait to be seated. Then after about two mins of standing, the bar tender shouts to us that we can take a seat anywhere. We would have done this in the first place had there been a sign telling customers to do so. Pictured are the mozzarella sticks, fried chicken sandwich with onion rings, and buffalo chicken wrap with waffle fries. Food took a little long to come out. Mozzarella sticks 8/10, they were hot and fresh. The breading could use some seasoning. I like how they garnish it with Parmesan cheese. Chicken sandwich 6/10, I’ve had better. And the onions rings were not the best. Barely any breading on them. The waffle fries were great! I did not try the wrap, my friend ordered that. The alcohol was great! The atmosphere is your usual sports bar. Plenty of TVs. The bartender was friendly and attentive! The restaurant is average sized and they also have outdoor seating. The parking isn’t the best. Small parking lot on one side of the shopping center. The other side says it’s permit parking only, tow away zone. There is a pay for parking lot across the street. It’s worth checking out but I personally wouldn’t come here again; it’s mediocre.

A big menu that delivers BIG flavor!! I had so many choices that it was hard to pick just one item. Started the meal with pretzel bites and would have loved to have a shareable portion. The cheesesteak wrap came packed with flavor and I grabbed some fries for the combo. There is not a dessert option here but the lunch portion was just enough to leave on a full stomach. They offer daily drink specials with plenty of TVs to catch the March Madness lineup. Parking isn’t the easiest so plan for that especially if there is an event downtown. You can choose indoor or outdoor seating. Maybe not kid friendly in certain times of the day.

The Food is already great and a solid value on its own, but when you consider their daily specials, its actually mind boggling how cheap some of their meals are. The Tuesday burger deal is insanely good value. You can get the Clutch Mac burger (like a big mac but actually much better and larger) with a side for $10. An actual big mac deal from the golden arches is $12- is that not just insane? Like if you ever eat fast food instead of clutch, you're wasting your money. Again, even outside of the daily specials, their food is worth it.

Overall good food and good service. The Philly Cheesesteak was pretty good but a tad bit dry. Their waffle fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. The onion rings were slightly undercooked in my opinion. I love that they have outdoor seating available so we can bring our dog. We'll be back again.

It's a good size bar. There are TVs everywhere so this is a great place to go to watch a big game because they're going to have it on at least one of the TVs I had the chicken caesar wrap with waffle fries. The chicken caesar was very delicious, the chicken was grilled well you can really taste the grill marks. The waffle fries are pretty good too.

Came here after a run and had a good time. The server was very sweet to us. We were a little disappointed because they didn't have their full menu but the burger I ordered was really good! I got the clutch burger and fries and it came out very fast! This place is also good for a quick drink right next to the panthers stadium. Very spacious and looks like a game day bar. I recommend coming on a nice day as they do have an outside area.

Clutch always comes in clutch for us! The environment is great, usually has a good crowd because of a game or bingo, food comes out extremely quick, and the portions are great! Last night we got the honey chipotle wings and chicken nachos. I will say it wasn't my favorite visit here. The sauce for the wings just tasted like sweet oil. It didn't really stick to the wing and definitely needed the ranch. The nachos were cool... we've had them before but it this time they were lacking in queso and they chips were soggy super quick. As said, we frequent here and love it so probably just an off night but would totally still recommend stopping in!

I met up with a friend for lunch and he suggested clutch. I am always looking for a new place to check out. Overall the experience was ok. Service was very lackluster. I fell that we had to constantly ask for things. Silverware, refills on drinks....... It wasn't really busy and just felt that our waitress wasnt interested. I had the double stack cheeseburger with waffle fries. The burger was good but nothing really stood out. Overall I probably would not repeat as there isn't anything that is going to draw me back.

I honestly really like this place all the food items and drinks we get are always delicious! Their cucumber salad is top tier. We came for brunch but were a little late so we had the regular menu, which I was good with. I had the teriyaki bowl without the crispy onions and I loved it! I also added jalapeños - made it even better! We also ordered the spicy pickles & the ranch dipping sauce was so yum! I love they have topo Chico drinks too- the best seltzer drink in my options. Servers are always really kind and thoughtful, we had a new server this time and she was top tier. Gotta love this spot. Of course all the football was on and they were playing the Panthers audio.

Staff is the best and the burgers, wings and salads are just right. Great draft beer selection too.

A co-worker and I went for lunch. Good food and service. Nice outdoor area and away from the noise of uptown Charlotte. So you can actually enjoy your meal and have a nice lunch time. I will definitely come back.

Wings were a bit dry....service was good....ill give another shot soon. Very cool vibe....but a bit hot with the big doors open.

Got the honey chipotle wings and sweet potato tots via door dash. The wings smelled good coming thru the bag, but ended up a bit of a disappointment unfortunately. Wings were bland, and could've been cooked alittle more. The sweet potato tots were very good!

So my experience was definitely different. Riley (my waitress) was terrible. She did not get my order right at all. My food was great but she ruined the whole experience. The ambiance was whatever but I would only go back if Riley was not my waitress.............

Nice place to go if you want the bar tender to beg you not to spend money... as soon as we got here the bartender rudely stated they close in an hour. It was like she didn't want to serve us bottled beers. Really a shame as it has potential to be a great neighborhood bar. Won't be trying to return anytime soon.

I came here on Sunday as I had friends tell me that this place was a great sports bar. It wasn't super busy but that was nice so we could sit down and order lunch. I definitely want to come back here on a game day to see if it is busier! I had their chopped salad and added chicken it was awesome!

Went for a drink after the game last night, it was packed but bartenders served us quickly. Sadly the beer was hot and when we asked our server to exchange it for a cold beer she was extremely rude. I understand it had been a busy day, i think i heard they were even out of ice. All we were politely asking for was to trade it for anything they had that was cold. We ended up happily paying for new beers but still can't believe the way we were treated. Totally unnecessary.

I'll start by saying that I really enjoyed my meal! So much that it *almost* made up for how long it took to be served. I was there for brunch and it was at capacity so I understand the delay. If it were just a little faster though, it'd be perfect! I had the chicken and waffles and it was one of the best waffles I've had in a long time. The honey butter is DIVINE! The chicken could have used a little more salt, but other than that it was perfect. The mimosa deal is a great price and the place itself is nice, with the exception of it being rather warm on a hot summer day. If I go back, it would definitely be on the strength of my meal. Oh, and the staff was pleasant too.

Wouldn't really call it a sports bar. They can't afford to pay for local baseball games ... aka the braves I'm at graham st and they have the braves game btw

Whatever you do, do not come here for any sort of specials or expectations to be charged what's advertised on the menu. The manger was condescending and rude. There are plenty of sports bars within a half a mile that are so much better. Food was not nearly good enough to deal with such poor management. The wait staff were pleasant though.

Server - Hailey Atmosphere - Awesome neighborhood bar feel. Covid friendly with the outdoor patio with heaters and an open garage door for those eating inside. What would I order again - Definitely the fish and chips. I would ask for more tarter sauce though because that's really good too. I subbed the chips (which are waffle cut fries) for the cucumber/tomato salad. The cole slaw is super creamy. All of it was very, very good. What would I not order again? Nothing comes to mind.

Attempted to go to Graham St Pub last Sunday but I had my baby and you have to be over 21 on the weekends . The lady at the door directed us to Clutch. We had a good time . There was a Dj and lots of TVs showing all the games . It was a packed house and sitting is first come first served . You can also sit outside. We ordered wings, salad, friends and drinks . One person had a chicken cheesesteak but he didn't like it however we all ordered the wings and everybody liked those ! The salad was also big for only $7. Drinks were decently priced. I would come back here now that I know it exist !

The service is always friendly and fast. The prices are affordable and fair which is hard to find in this area. The kitchen staff is quick and always whips me something up that's delicious. I stop whenever I am in this part of town now. Get the wings! Toss em in Hot & Honey Garlic. Get the chicken wrap tossed in Hot! My favorite Buffalo chicken wrap in the city. Side note, all the bartenders are cute and friendly! I've really enjoyed chatting with them. Place seems well run and cared for. Hope they stay in business for years to come!

Loved this placed!! The bartenders where super nice and the the ambiance was great! Love the music choice they had going on. They had a live DJ and I missed being back to normal. It was great breath of fresh air to be away from San Francisco and see normal life for once. Also, I love their bar food! It was not greasy nor did it make me feel bloated or anything. I ordered the fries with their BBQ and ranch as sides and I will come back just for that and their drinks!

I love the idea of this guy. Was my first time eating at Clutch. In North Carolina. Im giving this 4 stars its because the onion rings wasn't that good. But eatable. Lol i will still give it a try whenever i go to North Carolina

I was here on a late Sunday night after a party that was held there. My friends and I ate outside on their patio (which was nice). There is parking directly in front of the building, as well as parking in overflow across the street, but you have to pay for that. Our waiter was super nice & her timeliness was great. I ordered the black bean burger, added caramelized onions, and fries with honey mustard for dipping. The fries were decent, but I really liked the black bean burger. It wasn't dry & it had flavor. As I've always said, it's not a real black bean burger if it isn't messy or doesn't fall apart- this one did. Many don't like messy sandwiches, but it is what it is. I definitely recommend the black bean burger for those that don't eat meat or those that consume meat in limited quantities.

The blonde girls working the bar on 7/30 during the FC game were rude and ignored us the entire time while serving everyone around us. I mentioned we had been waiting for 30 minutes and one of the girls rolled her eyes at me, said "so what" and then served the next person who just walked up. We left without ever being served.

Always a good time here! The food is good and they have good drinks as well. The brunch is really good. Two levels of seating and bars available. It's a great location for before or after the games! Gets packed on game days but always a fun time!

Love the spot and tvs, hate the fact that they are not enforcing practically all Covid measures for their customers. The staff wears masks, sometimes incorrectly, especially the bar tenders. They are having DJs, a bunch of idiots walking around without masks, and no sanitizers. The manager did enforce masks on customers when I expressed concern, but they aren't doing it pro actively. One drink and then noped out of there this time. Other than that, food and drinks are good. Would be 4 stars otherwise.

Mimosa flight was amazing! Came with multiple juices - orange, pineapple, mango, and cranberry!

Where to begin. Maybe the microwaved breakfast burrito that was slimy. Or the fact we had to eat it with flimsy plastic utensils. Or perhaps when the waitress spilled our beers on the table, then seemed annoyed she had to come back and clean it up right after blaming us for it. But most of all it was just the laughably worst Panthers gameday experience I have ever had. Avoid this place.

Went for lunch/brunch based on website and menu.. Got there and they had no brunch menu available and half the lunch items were marked as unavailable... So really it is a bar with selective food offerings.. We got up and left.

This is a nice, cute, restaurant. My best friend and I really enjoyed brunch on the patio. The food is great and the staff is friendly. They have some really good drink specials. I love all their cereal shots.

Had a terrible experience here, maybe you'll have better. But, I'm definitely going to try and throw in a veto if my friends want to come here again. Came to watch the game and tried to order their version BLT but was told they were out. Sounded delicious, but no problem. Quickly pivoted and ordered wings, my friend was told they were not serving fires at that time so she ordered the house made chips. That was probably 10 minutes before the game even started. We never saw our waitress again. Apparently she went home. Around the start of the second quarter I see orders coming out to people who weren't even downstairs when we put in our order. I flag down another waitress and am only told the kitchen is backed up. I can sort of get a delay on wings. The fryer may be backed up. Maybe someone ordered a party platter. Whatever. But chips are served as a side with most meals. There was zero reason why my friend couldn't get her food. Around half time someone retakes our order and tells us the meal is comped. My other friend orders wings of different flavor for himself. Half way through the third quarter, my friend gets his wings. I STILL DO NOT and my friend still doesn't have her chips. It is almost comical at this point. Like I'm on a hidden camera show. Into the fourth quarter I FINALLY get my wings and my friend gets her chips and now they have fries and bring her an order. But the chips and fries are stone cold. One waitress left, the one who finally took over after half time said she was embarrassed and she gave notice it wold be her last shift. I don't know what happened. Never got a real explanation. No one identified themselves as a manager to explain or apologize. It's nice that they comped the meal and the final waitress was at least nice. But, the wings ended up not tasting great, I got 11 instead of 12 and I was so hungry at that point because I had not eaten anything prior that I just wolfed them down, paid for my initial beer, gave the waitress a good tip (because it didn't seem like her fault) and left the second the game was over. I will also say that at no point was anyone in my party contentious, outwardly angry, disrespectful to anyone or demanding. We took the crappy situation in stride and the waitresses were responsive but it seemed something out of their control.

No social distancing-no masks-packed house. Definitely a super spreader. It's sad that other restaurants have closed down and this one is still open and has no regard for the public's safety.

What??? Repeat that again I can't hear you. Food is good and place is cool but you need to yell in order to have a conversation. We asked them to lower the music twice but the manager scoffed. More than likely won't ever return. Engaging in conversation is part of the brunch experience but that escapes managements opinion.

Great place for parties,I have been coming to clutch for several retirement parties. Great open area to have a big crowd come out and celebrate. The music is not loud and annoying you can't hear each other and there's several TVs to watch any game. The catering is great as well, had the wings, burger bites, queso and potato chips. The bar is also great tried several different beers tonight I had the watermelon flavor one was great. There's plenty of free parking if not there's some within walking distance for a fee.

New owners, new name, fresh paint. Not much else changed besides the menu. Not saying anything bad when I say that because I was ok with the place before it switched over. Came here on a Sunday walking from Circa to see what's different. Place wasn't busy at 5:30. March Madness Duke game was really only thing going on. Weather was nice again for first time in awhile too! I like this spot because there's great parking and down the walkway from both stadiums. I like that the inside leads to the outside and there's the downstairs too. Seems like they put new speakers in that have a lot more bass. Place is close to everything and very scooter accessible. I would give 5 stars, but find some energy. This place needs ENERGY. I don't want to see the soda station, I don't want to see the staff doing shift change, I don't really want to see in the kitchen, the menu is small (but I feel this place is more for drinking). I want to see energetic bartenders and staff. Do they have daily specials here? I wouldn't know because either they don't or the bartender never told us. Make people WANT to come here not "I guess we can go over to so and so". I want this place to succeed because it's the first bar we went to 2 years ago when we moved here. I hope it comes to life.

Last week was Charlotte Burger Week #CLTBurgerWeek. This location was advertised with their Charlotte FC Steakhouse Burger. I'm new to the area, let's go check it out. Ordered our adult beverages order our burgers. Half way through our drinks, we're told that they will not be honoring the Burger Week costs for the burgers. We walked in the door confirming Burger Week before ordering anything. The manager didn't even come out to tell us why. Check one place off my list that will not be getting any more of my hard earned pay. Better burgers and better tap selections can be found all over the city - South End, NoDa, pick a ward. Not worth the trip.

Caveat: I visited on a Panthers game day; experience at other times may be different. Chicken strips where mostly bread, served with fries that were cool to the touch. Burger was pathetic. It wasn't cooked anywhere in the vicinity of medium-rare, tasted bland, and was served with stale chips instead of the side salad that was ordered. The service was fast, so there's that.

Came to Clutch Kitchen last night 12/8 and was extremely impressed! This was my first time and during these crazy covid times I have not gone out to eat much. 1) I was VERY happy at the spaced out seats and tables. I felt very safe inside and outside. 2) the food was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries! They are drizzled with some amazing glaze. 3) the service was Phenomenal and the owner would stop by each table to check on you (fully masked). I would return here any time for lunch and dinner.

The food on the menu looks good, however the breakfast burrito I had on the brunch menu was cold. Waitress took it back to correct and we received a luke warm one, it was good but not hot. The kitchen service workers were always on the phone while we were there. The vibe in the bar was very low energy and not very concerned about providing good customer service. Love the place and location but needs a boost of energy. They need to advertise drink specials to get more people to come in. Will be back but need to get through the growing pains.

Worst service ever. Waited over an hour for food and they never brought it. Waitress said they mistakenly gave food to a diff party never apologized, no one helped out and got us any food. No manager apologized or became involved. We ended up just leaving. Do not recommend.

I came to Clutch for my high school 20 year reunion. This is a great spot to host an event for 50-200 people. The upstairs is the main area with a horseshoe bar, kitchen, and table seating. Tv's everywhere so you can watch any game. Also outside seating with a great view of the city. The food is amazing! I tired the black bean burger which is a great vegetarian option. The bacon cheese burger was probably the best burger I've had in a very long time. They also made us a charcuterie plate with salami, pepperoni, cheese, and 3 kinds of grapes. They also catered is lemon chicken scallopini with angel hair pasta, and grilled salmon with grilled veggies and roasted potatoes. Everything was truly amazing. They even had a special non alcoholic punch for the non drinkers which was delicious and refreshing. The staff was amazing, polite, attentive, and worked super hard. This is def a cool place to hang out and watch the game, or host an event.

I love Clutch! It's walking distance from the Panthers stadium and the communities surrounding it. Even though we went on a Saturday night immediately after the Clemson game rush, the restaurant was still neat and clean. I had gone once before for brunch, and I really enjoyed it. This time, I ordered the Clutch burger and my boyfriend ordered the Grilled Sausage and Peppers Sandwich. Both meals were delicious and so were the fries - home made. Bartender was on point, friendly, and he was very knowledgeable about the menu. If you're looking for a laid back vibe and good food, this is the place for you.

We tried going here for lunch yesterday at 1:30pm. The front door was locked, the side doors wouldn't open, and there were customers inside eating and the bartender saw us, but no one stuck their head outside to say if they were closed for a private party or not. No sign on the door or anything. Not very welcoming and we will not be going back to give it another shot.

The hostess is so incredibly rude. I asked if we could have a table for 11. She said standing room only. Not only does that not answer the question, but it's also not helpful. Then I asked if we could push chairs together. She said 'again awesome, don't take reservations.' AGAIN UNHELPFUL!!!!! She was rude and incredibly unhelpful and I would not recommend coming to this establishment if she is still a part of it. She. Is. Garbage. And it makes me not want to ever come back again. Also. Go. Cocks.

My servers name was Hayley and she was talking about how she does not have to wear masks while outside because we told her we were not comfortable with her serving us without a mask. This is not ok.

I didn't realize that the name had changed to Clutch! I met up with a friend there and we watched sports and caught up. There was a hip hop trivia game wrapping up when we got there at 8. I ordered a hard cider and Grilled cheese with fries! I asked to have bacon added to the grill cheese but it waitress forgot! She offered to get me a side of bacon but the sandwich wouldn't have been the same! She was very courteous. We did get a free glass of tequila! I would go again for the atmosphere

The blue pear flatbread changed my life. The location isnt my favorite, unless youre walking from a panthers game or you know someone that knows its there, you may miss it. Definitely a sports environment, good for a sunday funday.
