Clybel WMA Shooting Range

Great shooting range. When you go there the first time you have to see a safety video and sign in. After the first time they give you a card and sign in. Parking lot is big and there are restrooms. There is a pistol/ rifle range and a shotgun area to shoot skeet. This shooting range is manned. The guys there are nice, but strict. Safety is there number 1 concern. I shoot rimfire guns when I go. The area is set up nicely. You are under cover, the range is outside. You MUST wear eye and ear protection. You can take kids to shoot if they are accompanied.

Great shooting range with electronic feedback so you don’t have to walk down range to see and make adjustments to optics which saves time. Would love to see steel targets for long range shooting past 200 yards. Onsite range safeties are knowledgeable and helpful.

My first time bringing out my rifle. It was very nice facility. The staff was willing to help me with my scope and answered my questions. I like how they had staff available all around the campus. The computer base scoring was extremely helpful and worth the drive.

Great Place to shoot. Steel targets are fun. 100 yard rifle range with digital targets are amazing. Strict safety rules. No rapid fire , double taps or standing rifle shooting. Also , Brass Ammo Only !!

It was an amazing time!! Shooting outdoors is completely different from indoors (much harder). The range safety guys are very helpful. You have to have a hunting or target shooting license to shoot there though and have to take the hunting safety course. You bring your own guns, ammo, and PPE and that's it. It is definitely worth the drive out there. We will be back!

Sad an extremely nice range is ruined by RSOs being overly strict. No rapid fire at the pistol range despite using steel targets that are perfect for competition. Didn't even fire quickly and they still got onto us despite there being no safety issue. Always getting onto us about our brass despite us always picking it up. The second it hit 5:55pm the RSO made us unload the mag rather than finish the less than 5 shots remaining and put those back into the box which took even longer than just firing them. When the range closed we were told to holster or put all firearms in a bag, so one of mine was holstered then they complained about how it wasn't in a bag. Couldn't go more than a few seconds without the RSOs bothering you about something that is perfectly safe and even acceptable at nearly all indoor ranges, they offer no flexibility, and are looking to bother you over absolutely anything. I am extremely strict about safety, so I have no issue over being corrected if there is something unsafe even in the slightest. My group found how nitpicky they were to be difficult to take seriously. We didn't even bother asking if we would be able to draw from holster in able to do basic drills.

I went there on a Wednesday morning when they opened. Range officers were more than polite. Once they saw that I knew how to handle things safely, they let me enjoy my morning and didn’t hover. Looking forward to taking another Wednesday off work and going again soon. Beautiful range !!

They have made significant improvements to the rifle and pistol ranges. They use a computer based scoring tool making the process of sighting in rifles and scoring accuracy over distances easy-to-use and more enjoyable. The pistol range has all new steel targets and the place is clean and cared for and staffed with knowledge and helpful range masters who keep an eye on things. This has become one of the best outdoor ranges in Georgia. And it's free with a valid hunting or fishing license! Make sure to leave your steel core ammo at home though, it's not allowed.
